Katy, you ROCK girlfriend! Thank you so much for helping to make my wedding day as fabulous as it was. Without you, I would have been a basket case. Thank you for taking care of all the little
details that I either didn't think of, or was too busy to take care of myself. Thank you for taking care of all the vendors, the wedding party, and for handling the little mishaps. You told me something would go wrong,
and gosh darn if it didn't. You were right, we needed you!
To the brides-to-be that are on the fence on whether to hire Katy or not, hire her. Save yourself the agony of having to handle all the details yourself or even delegating certain task to your wedding party. Your day should be enjoyable for both you and your wedding party. Let Katy take care of the details for you, and take the borden off yourself and your wedding party.
Things that went wrong that Katy took care of:
1. The reception venue tables were set-up for someone else's wedding when we arrived. I freaked when I saw it, but Katy was already on top of it. Everything turned out beautiful.
2. The limo failed to pick-up key family members from the hotel, so we couldn't start the wedding on time. Katy kept the guest informed while they waited, and contacted the hotel to arrange for transportation to
the venue.
3. My mother didn't show up. Can you imagine? Katy took care of this too. She had my father fill-in where my mother should have been. We had a sand ceremony, and she had him poor our sand in place of my mother. Totally AWESOME!
You just never know what can happen. This should be the happiest day of your life, so you should not have to worry about how to fix things at the last minute. That is what Katy is for. She truly is the best! She helped me in so manys, which are too many to include in this letter.
It was one of the smartest decisions I made during the planning process.

I have played weddings in the bay area for the past 12 years. Some are smooth going, others have resembled hysterical tornadoes. A recent wedding our string quartet contracted had been "planned" without a coordinator. Every conversation I had with the groom and bride seemed drenched in escalating nervousness as they weren't sure how we would get cues for the bridal march, how the timing would work at the reception, where we would get our chairs etc. At the last minute, overwhelmed with the detritus of details associated with a wedding, they brought Katy aboard.
Katy was spectacular. I've worked with many coordinators and she is among the very best: spunky, enthusiastic, incredibly well-organized but down-to-earth. She is also a musician, so her sense of timing for the musical part of the ceremony was flawless. ILuvU4evr String Quartet highly recommends her for any event you have. And you should have seen the bride and groom. They were so thrilled to have hired her. They actually enjoyed their wedding. Money well spent!
