Ridiculously talented- made us an absolutely gorgeous wedding video and wedding preview video. Both of them make us cry when we watch them! I was hesitant about hiring someone without a ton of experience, but I am so glad I did. He is better than the guys charging $6,000! That being said, I am sure that in a few years he will be ;) Took a little while to get the video, but I think it will be much faster next year since he has gotten into a rhythm with his schedule. Very nice man, extremely artistic and responds well to feedback. Very happy with our choice and will be using him for events in the future :)

Adam was fantastic start to finish. We found him by accident, and didn't realize what an incredible value he was until we saw our amazing short film, teaser, and documentary. These were totally unlike any other wedding videos we'd ever seen - more story and less "stuff". There's a reason it is Adam Grumbo Wedding "Films" and not "Videos". Because he spends so much time editing, he packs more emotion into 10 minutes of film by than I've ever seen another wedding video - which usually seem to last for hours and are nothing but footage of event after event in the wedding. I've never appreciated how important the editing process is until we showed our video to friends and family who weren't there. Instead of begrudgingly watching what amounts to a slideshow, the were captivated and wanted to watch more.
We really appreciated Adam's hard work and are highly recommend him.

The movies are like a theatrical experience but the delivery took 7 months.
Adam was always responsive and answered calls and text but we were disappointed with the long turn around. The product is amazing and we are extremely pleased with the result. I would definitely recommend him with the warning that his level of detail in the movies takes an extremely long time and to just be prepared for it. Adam was happy to give us some extras to make up for the rough experience. The only reason I gave him such a low mark in professionalism is that if we had been made aware that a "feature film" level wedding video would take this long we would have had zero problems with it. The problem was we were promised multiple deliveries that he didn't meet over the coarse of the 7 months. This does not change the fact that I would use him again though. His product is to impressive.

Adam Grumbo Wedding Films is amazing! The films on his website speak for themselves, they are filled with emotion and he does incredible work. However what you can't experience through the internet is Adam's fun personality. I have worked with many wedding vendors and videographers, and Adam is the best by far. Not only does he produce fantastic wedding films, but he and his staff are a pleasure to work with. They are professional and fun. I wish I could do my wedding over again and have Adam film it!!!
I had the pleasure of working with Adam and his videography crew at a recent wedding in Austin, and found both him and his staff to be both extremely professional and personable throughout the whole wedding. Adam was great to work with, and was always visible recording amazing angles for the bride and groom to make his films as creative as they are stunning.
I was especially impressed by the fact that he was able to record, and edit a 10 minute video for the bride and groom to show to their families at the reception in less than 24 hours. Amazing service! I can't recommend Adam and his staff enough for your videography...
Adam Grumbo Films is incredible. Knowing the owner for a number of years, I can say without a doubt that Adam is one of the best videographers out there. He knows his equipment, works well with other vendors, and his end product is second to none. Of the events that I have worked with him, his attention to the details is astounding, constantly shooting everything that is going on, and catching those special once in a lifetime moments. Another thing I enjoy about Adam is that he is flexible, personalizes everything, and works hard for any bride that books him. FAQ for Adam Grumbo Wedding Films
A: Well, I shoot with a primary focus on cinematic wedding film making. Cinematic means that it’s highly edited, and very stylized like a film. On our Premium and Diamond packages, it also includes a documentary style video of the day’s events. This is much more like the traditional wedding video. Chronological and not as highly stylized, but includes the full ceremony, full toasts, and first dances.
Has the videographer done many weddings before? What’s her storytelling approach when it comes to taping a wedding? (This clues you in to his experience and philosophy.) Ask to view samples of her recent work.
A: I am a very experienced film maker and wedding videographer. I already have a philosophy page, so you can check that out to see what my goals and vision is when it comes to making good wedding films. And feel free to review my gallery to see some of the recent wedding films. How does she coordinate with a wedding photographer? Has the videographer worked with your photographer before?
A: I have worked with many photographers. The way I create wedding films is a very non intrusive way, and I capture moments candidly. I leave the posing to the photographer, and my job is to capture the mood and touching moments of your wedding day, so when you watch it in 30 years, you can be transported right back to the day you said I do. Has he ever shot a wedding at your ceremony or reception site? If so, can you see the tape?
A: While we don’t use tapes anymore, there are many places around Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Houston and Colorado that I shoot weddings at. Check out the gallery to see if I’ve shot at that venue before, or simply fill out my contact form. How many other weddings is the videographer shooting on your wedding day or weekend? (Make sure there are no time constraints.)
A: I don’t ever schedule weddings in the same day, and rarely on the same weekend. I make sure I take the time to film your wedding day like it is the only one I’ll ever film in my life. Your wedding film is as important to me, as it will be to you. Will the videographer you’re speaking to be the one who will be shooting your wedding? If not, make sure you speak to whomever will actually shoot.
A: Absolutely I’ll be the one filming the event. That’s why my name is on the sign out front! I do though, often use additional videographers to help on busy days, but I will always be the primary cinematographer. What types of cameras, tapes, and microphones will the videographer use? How new is the equipment? Ask her to explain how certain effects are achieved and to outline the benefit of using certain technologies. You may not catch all the techno-speak, but it helps to have a sense of what’s what.
A: I don’t need to go off about what type of equipment is used on film shoots, just take a look at the gallery and see the quality. I use top quality equipment and shoot in HD 1080p with rich sounding audio. Of course I do also use wireless microphones to capture vows and speeches, which is very important. How bright a light do they use? (If shooting requires the room lights to be on all evening, much of the romance and ambiance of your event may be lost.)
A: Although I have a few additional lights, I typically don’t need to use them. My low-light sensitive equipment captures great video quality without the need of harsh distracting lights. In some cases, lights may be needed for speeches. Be assured that the video will capture the event, just as you remember seeing it. Will a backup camera be on hand for the event?
A: It is always important for me to shoot with multiple cameras to capture all the important angles of the ceremony. How does the videographer charge for services? Are there packages? Request a price list.
