My husband Brandon and I met with several vendors to choose each one carefully. I contacted a few possible djs for our wedding, but only met with one........RJ! I had a great feeling about him just from reading reviews and speaking with him through a couple emails. But, it was within minutes of speaking to him in person, we knew he would absolutely be the person to make our night memorable for not only us, but our friends and family!....(We are still hearing what an amazing and fun night everyone had!!)

RJ is incredibly on top of what he does. He is super quick to respond to phone calls and emails. He is extremely professional and has a great personality and positive energy! He truly does what the clients are looking for. Our music and his services could not have been any better!!! In fact...our expectations for him were very high and he totally and completely exceeded them! His music was amazing and exactly what we asked for and the lighting he did for us was absolutely breathtaking!!!!!

If you don't use him as your DJ, you are not having the best wedding possible. He is SO professional and amazing at what he does. He kept me updated on things. Asked for my opinion and gave his when I asked for his! He kept everything ON POINT. I knew he was good already, but I was blown away and I have known him for years.

And the lighting he did for me? STUNNING. I just kept looking around in awe that this was my wedding. It was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Like something out of a magazine in my opinion.

The music was non-stop good hits. He kept people on the dance floor effortlessly. I spoke to many of my guests and ALL of them mentioned how fun the wedding was. The dance floor was never empty. I knew when we had our wedding guests complaining of sore calf muscles days after the wedding that we had a successful dance floor. RJ was great to work with and was extremely helpful through the planning process (giving us advice based on his experience and adhering to our music requests). The result was a successful wedding in which everything flowed seamlessly, from the wedding party introductions to the cake cutting. After reading all the reviews, I knew I wanted RJ to DJ our wedding. We met with him and instantly knew he was a perfect fit. He is extremely professional, but fun at the same time. He listened to what we wanted and what we didn't want. My music taste is not so mainstream, so when I gave him a playlist for the pre-ceremony and the cocktail hour, he found and downloaded all of the songs I requested. We had some guests arrive early, so he started the prelude music a little early. He made sure the wedding flowed and when it was time to dance, he delivered! The floor was packed all night...I know we didn't leave the dance floor much! So many people commented on how great the music was...it was exactly what we had wanted. He also provided lighting and it came our beautifully. I can't say enough good things about RJ, he truly knows how to make a wedding unforgettable!

I can't say enough good things about RJ. From our first meeting, my (now) husband and I knew he was kind of DJ we were looking for- classy but fun. I didn't need to provide him a playlist or babysit him to make sure he didn't do any chicken dances, etc. He kept our guests on the dance floor through the entire reception and we had an amazing party! From the first email contact to the very end of the reception, RJ was always available to answer questions and provide advice. He also provided uplights and made the reception hall look gorgeous. If you want a true professional who will ensure a smooth reception from start to finish, you've found him.

The day that I met RJ I booked him for my wedding. Just by meeting with him, you can see his passion for what he does. I knew that by booking him, he would make sure my wedding music was exactly what I had in mind. I had a ton of questions for RJ throughout the entire year that I was planning my wedding and he ALWAYS got back to me with a friendly, helpful response very quickly. He never made me feel like I was bothering him, he always helped me and gave me his professional opinion no matter what. RJ did our ceremony music and really helped me when it came to picking songs. I trusted his opinions and the ceremony music ended up PERFECT! Not only is RJ an excellent DJ but he is a great emcee. His voice is so professional but fun at the same time. He followed right along with the agenda for the wedding that we came up with and kept our dance floor packed the entire night. Everyone at our wedding, young and old, were out on the dance floor and danced the entire night. We definitely did not want the reception to end. I know that RJ made the reception what it was with the amazing music that he played. It's like he knew what would keep people having fun and on the dance floor. People are still asking me who our DJ was and commenting on how wonderful he was. I would definitely recommend RJ to anyone getting married in the future!!

RJ is hands down the total package. He MADE my wedding. He's got the right look, the right voice and all the knowledge to get the job done.
The dance floor was packed the entire night. He knew exactly what to play to keep everyone dancing. He also did the lighting which was absolutely gorgeous. No, he doesn't use those cheesy lights that light up a little spot on the wall.. the entire place was glowing purple and looked absolutely amazing. When I got the first look at the room I was just in awe. He always made sure we were satisfied and taken care of the entire night which was awesome. He also did a beautiful white dance floor with our names & date on it which was so gorgeous.

RJ was fabulous! He listened to everything we said and was extremly flexable. We had some bad weather the day of the wedding and he was able to bump up the introductions and basically the entire wedding timeline to accomidate us. He was professional and he played great music. Our dance floor was full the entire night. I had multiple people come up and tell me that they loved the DJ. I would recomend him to any bride.

I literally cannot say enough about how great of a job RJ Vida did at our wedding reception. The dance floor was packed from the start of the reception all the way until the last song - Grandmothers, groomsmen, older people, younger people, and even people who NEVER dance. Everyone was having such a great time that we didn't even get to one slow song! He ran the party exactly how we wanted - started off with some music for all ages and then towards the end of the night my mom was dancing to the Ying Yang Twins!! It was the best party we have ever been to and that was because of RJ's ability to mix music. When my husband and I started seaching for DJ's I had one criterian: no cheese factor. I had been to so many weddings where the DJ's made the dance floor a place for self-promotion instead of dancing, but RJ's focus from day 1 was on us and what we wanted for our wedding. RJ's knowledge of music and experience with weddings guarantees that your wedding will be the best day of your life.

Jack and I's wedding was on April 23, 2011, and held at an old mansion. Our ceremony and reception all occurred outside on an unseasonably hot Florida day, but RJ kept the music pumping and kept everyone on the dance floor. Our guests have all commented that they've never had that much fun sweating their butts off and have never seen so many people dance at a wedding.

But RJ's skills aren't just limited to music and the ability to read a crowd. RJ is awesome at working with the couple, coordinating the day, and making sure the Bride and Groom have no stress on the day of. I never had to worry about where I needed to be at what time because RJ guided us through everything and made sure we were in the right place at the right time.

When I started wedding planning, my main goal was to make sure that our guests had fun. If this is your goal, then RJ is your DJ because he makes sure that not only do your guests have fun, but that you have fun and that your wedding is everything you've dreamed of and more.

RJ was awesome! I highly recommend him for your wedding! We had so many guests comment on how well he did, and what a great time they had dancing and partying at our wedding! RJ Vida did an excellent job of keeping our crowd entertained and on the dance floor having a great time. RJ Vida is the best! I knew from my first meeting he would be the DJ for my wedding. He immediately calmed my nerves about the timeline for the night. He was professional, on time, organized, and has a great personality! When I was running late for our last meeting he understood and waited for my husband and me to arrive. THANK YOU RJ!!!! My Wife and I got married Dec. 4 2010 and thanks to the masterful job RJ did during the ceremony and Reception it really turned out to be our special day. The ceremony on the beach required some extra ins and outs and without blinking an eye RJ handled it. Also we had some lighting issues for the reception and again RJ turned this sailing club into a beachside paradise. Its hard to make everyone at a reception happy but RJ did just that. Being a member of a seperated family, RJ did a great job making both my mom and dad very happy. RJs DJ skills were of another level. He truly is an amazing DJ and Highly recommended for anyone looking to have a tasteful mix of classic and party music. RJs professionalism is first class. RJ is AMAZING!!! My absolute favorite of all my vendors! He was also very quick to respond to my calls or texts. Very professional, yet fun personality. He was such great on the day of our wedding, we used him for DJ and Lighting in our ballroom, it looked spectacular, the room absolutely glowed! And his music skills are the best, the dance floor was packed the whole night! He never stopped the music, never any weird silent moments, and he even dealt with my "difficult" father. He made sure everything ran smoothly and followed my agenda. I never had to worry about a single thing the entire receptions, RJ would just let me know when it was time to do everything .. cake cutting, bouquet toss, you name it, he took care of it. From the very beginning when my husband and I first met him we immediately knew he was going to be an important part of our big day and make it an awesome event.
At the start of our wedding day, he played the exact type of music we wanted and we had even trusted him to pick our recessional song which he did perfectly. After the ceremony he had music to entertain the guests during cocktail hour but also came out to offer my new husband and I some refreshments. To futher explain how he goes above and beyond, we were having trouble with my bustle and he was offering any assistance he could!
The reception was a never ending party. He played exactly the type of music we wanted and made it flow without any breaks.
He is very attentive to the flow of a wedding and does everything you could possibly think of to ensure that is perfect.
Out of all my vendors he was the easiest and absolute best choice I made!!!!

R-J is a phenomenal DJ. I had given him a few songs that I wanted him to play but somehow the whole night the playlist was just what I would have picked myself! He was great at understanding the mood of the crowd and kept the dancefloor crowded and full of fun the whole night.

He is quick on his feet, I gave him the go ahead for the mother son dance when my mother in law happened to be in the bathroom as she had just had water spilled all over her! R-J went on and played something else without causing any disruption, I don't think any of the guests even noticed the issue.

Every guest I talked to commented on how great the DJ was and if they hadn't told me, it was apparent by how many people were out there dancing the whole night. It was exactly how I wanted my wedding to go! Thanks R-J!

RJ!!!!! What can I say...he was absolutely awesome! I had to give myself a pat on the back for picking him! He was great, he kept my reception flowing and kept people out on the dancec floor!!! He also provided the sound for my ceremony which was outdoor, and it was crystal clear. I had 3 singers and a keyboardist, he had them all plugged into the sound floor. You heard not one ounce of feedback,and you heard every word! I recommend RJ, hands down! My husband and I were very pleased!!!!!

We had so much fun at our wedding and never once did I worry or question what music was playing when. RJ made sure to specialize the play list to our style and what we wanted out of our wedding reception. I recommend choosing certain songs for all the specific parts of the evening as we did. It takes a little time, but was so special and personal, and RJ could read from those selections what would fit in with the rest of the time.

RJ Vida was the best DJ I could imagine having at our wedding. He kept everything on schedule the entire night and listened to all of our special requests and song "dos and donts". Even more impressive, is his ability to mix the songs. Not many DJs do this at weddings. RJ was worth every penny and gave us exceptional service. We originally were supposed to go with another DJ who ended up double-booking himself and we got bumped...which was very stressful and upsetting, but ended up being the best thing that could have happened because this guy is AMAZING!!! :) We ended up hiring him to work the ceremony as well because there was one choral song I wanted played, he has amazing quality equipment (he also does sound and lighting for music acts who come to the Tampa area, like the Jonas Brothers - NMS but I'm impressed that he can get gigs like that) and he has a really good and unique setup that he uses for ceremony and receptions at Mirror Lake Lyceum, so while I'd recommend him to anyone, I'd particularly recommend him to anyone using that venue since as far as I know he's the only one who does his equipment that way and it worked REALLY well with the acoustics there. He is young but incredibly experienced and professional. He was really on top of everything we needed for the ceremony - one of our readers is in a wheelchair and he made sure everything was accessible for her, and he was dynamic and fun for the reception. He was on top of everything with timing, he and Meghan really kept everything flowing for everyone, and the dance floor was packed the entire evening, he mixes his own music and it was great! We got so many compliments on the music.

Our wedding was a huge success, and a big part of that success was because of RJ. His professionalism, enthusiasm, and creativity made everyone feel welcome. RJ was phenomenal - he came highly recommended when we decided at the last minute to hire a DJ. Thankfully, he had a cancellation (he's in high demand, understandably) and began working with us right away. He put together a perfect play list, mixing like a master. He also did a lighting feature that blew everyone away (seaside wedding, aqua undulating lights). He relocated indoors as the hour got late (and the sound ordinance kicked in) and was just a pro in every single way. I cannot recommend him enough.

R-J Vida is not only an amazing DJ, but he is also a great person and a true professional. He DJ-ed my wedding and blew me away with his mixes of popular songs that all of our guests loved. Everything he did for us was exactly as we had asked and he made sure everything happened seamlessly. To top it all off, I later found out that he was suffering from the effects of food poisoning on the day of my wedding, but I never would have known it based on his actions. He did a phenomenal job with everything and apparently just suffered through the pain. I obviously felt horrible for him after the fact, but that is indicative of the type of professional he is. I would recommend R-J to any bride, and I felt truly lucky that I was able to have him DJ my wedding.

Oh RJ, my DJ. He was a winner from the start! He was the first vendor that i interviewed for my wedding. I chose Advanced Entertainment on how organized and well put together the DJ was. Spoke clearly and was crisp on the phone to where i knew he would sound good during the reception. He said he was able to intermix songs without the awkward silence and he has a production company to where i was able to have my dream lights, the GOBO & LED lighting. RJ is the total package. Beyond his extraordinary talent with music and keeping people moving and the crowd alive, his production crew aspect saved what would have other wise been a drab and colorless wedding. Additionally, his misting fans made quite an impact and helped to allieviate the heat and missery of an outdoor june florida wedding. RJ Vida is the best DJ one could hope for. I was approached all evening by guests of various ages and musical preferences to tell me that he was hands down the best DJ they had heard at a wedding or any other event. In fact, a dear friend who had a band at her wedding said after hearing RJ she realized a band was a mistake and she only wished she had known a DJ like him. Guests were on the dance floor all night, even individuals I had never seen dance! RJ is professional, looks and sounds great, and will give you exactly what you want. The icing on the cake was a special version of the song we danced our first dance to. It was a softer version of what we had chosen, and set the tone for a memorable first dance. RJ did this without us asking...the sign of a true professional. His pricing is phenomenal; you will be hard pressed to find a DJ of this quality at this price.

RJ is the best DJ ever! He was the most flexible, professional and caring DJ we had met with the wholeeee time in our search for a DJ. First, because we were from the Orlando area, he willingly met us half way to have an initial meeting. I was impressed with his professionalism, great portfolio, and being prepared for our meeting. He was so flexible when it came to the day of. We had weather issues, and he was ready to move to where we need him to at the drop of a dime. I would highly, highly, highly recommend him.
