The best money we have spent. Meeting with Ashley for the first time put us at ease right away. We knew she was the one for us. She was very flexible as our budget was really tight. Our wedding day went without a hiccup. Laurin and Ashley were amazing in getting the DJ, Photographer, Hair/Makeup Team, Florist, Church, Venue, Caterers all on the same page. They are true professionals. We would not have been able to do it without them. Everyone is still talking about our wedding to this day. It was truly a perfect day and a day we will remember forever. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

Ashley is an amazing person and really really great at her job! I have gotten married once (and that is forever) but I can say this for sure: my wedding would have been very stressful without her. I had no idea how the flow of things go, how to have people follow timelines. We had guests from all over the states and outside of the US. Ashley patiently explains everything, makes sure bride and groom are doing okay and runs the show in the background so things would go smoothly. Hiring a wedding planner was one of my best decision!! If you want to enjoy your own wedding, like I did, you gotta have Ashley!

Ashley and her assistant Laurin are both amazing at what they do. Our family had worked with Agape Planning previously when my sister got married, and we knew we had to have Ashley again for my wedding. I choose Agape Planning as they were recommend by my Venue, the Richard Nixon Library. The moment I met Ashley I knew she was the one. She was vibrant and so sweet and had a lot of great ideas tips to help ensure a smooth wedding day. Ashley and Lauren make a great duo. I was always able to get in touch with one of them, their professionalism was wonderful, and they actually felt more like "friends" rather than Wedding Planners. They genuinely cared about my wedding and went above and beyond to ensure that I didn't have a worry in the world the day of. I would highly recommend Agape Planning.

Ash is straightforward, concise, and reasonably-priced, this I learned after meeting with 2 other coordinators where they had confusing contracts, deals, packages, and high prices.
Ashwas so patient with me with all my off-the-wall questions and concerns. I was emailing her about my wedding timeline a year before the wedding. She must have thought I was nuts!
I work in corporate events and tradeshows, so I thought no one would match my fastidious nature when it came to planning and coordinating my wedding. I have to admit, I thought a day of wedding coordinator would just be there to make sure all things were generally in order, put on boutineers, and that be it. Fun, frilly, day of "party planning" fun. I could not have been more wrong.
I really thought I had to carry everything on my shoulders. I created my own timeline down to the minute, and got started on all other reports and details too. I knew from Ashley's contract that they do take care of this for you, but I misjudged the extent of those offerings. I guess I just assumed their work wouldn't be up to par with mine. I couldn't have been more mistaken.
Ashley was extremely organized, extremely detailed, brought up things pre-wedding I hadn't even thought of, and took care of the scheduling, vendor management, EVERYTHING, and it was amazing. There were things I started doing that I realized later that I didn't have to, Ash had already done it, and did it better.
I quickly in the last few weeks of the wedding realized what an amazing asset this vendor was and quickly started to rely on Ash and Laurin wholly. I would not have gotten through this wedding without her and Laurin, not one bit.Coming from an extremely Type A, organized, bossy, self-reliant person, to realize you needed this help and could not have gotten by without this help, is huge.
On wedding day, Ash and Laurin stayed on schedule, kept me on track, were always calm and supportive, and did everything for me from start to finish.

Ashley was great! My husband and I agreed that we wouldn't know what to do without her! Our wedding was fun, organized, and successful! The wedding planning went great! There was hardly any problems! From the first meeting to the wedding, Ashley was very patient, nice, and enthusiastic. She gave very good advice and even told us how to save money. She kept us on top of everything; we were able to get the vendors we wanted and made sure everything was set and paid for and completed. She called all the vendors and made sure everything was prepared & ready on the day off. I really appreciated the mock up meeting we had where she was there for our food tasting & after that, she prepared a table, chair, linens, and place settings for us so we could see how our tables would look like on the actual day. In fact, she went and picked up all the stuff for us and brought it to our venue. Ashley also helped set up our linens appointment.

Our wedding rehearsal was organized by her & it went well & efficient. Everyone knew what to do & she was there to answer many questions from the bridal party & parents. My bridal party apparently had a surprise for my husband and I on the day of the wedding & they were able to communicate with Ashley and planned the surprise without us having a clue at all.

Ashley is very professional and responsive and that is one of the many great things about her! She responds to emails & returns calls quickly! We never have to worry or wonder if my emails & phone calls were left unanswered!

Ashley is so kind, caring, dedicated, bubbly, passionate, and most importantly organized. She made me feel so much at ease and I couldn't have planned the wedding without her. It was so great to have Ashley because she made the flow of the wedding perfect. Her attention to detail was remarkable. I was absolutely blown away by her performance. There weren't any road bumps and I owe it all to her. I am so happy that The Nixon Library put her on the recommendation list. I don't know what I would have done without her.

I don’t know what we would have done without Ashley! She gave expert advice throughout the planning process and was always available to answer our questions. She gave us a ton of referrals for vendors which saved us time and stress over picking people at random. On the big day she kept everything running smoothly and me, my husband, and our parents could enjoy the day without worrying about any of the details. We hired Ashley not just because she was one of 2 coordinators recommended by the Nixon Library (our venue), but because from our first phone conversation I felt as though I had made a friend - someone I could trust and depend on.

I live in London, and planning a wedding that took place in a time zone 8 hours away wasn't a small feat. Ashley not only gave us great recommendations of vendors that shared our vision (and fit the budget), but she answered EVERY question my mother, my groom, and I had over the course of the year we planned the wedding.

She went far beyond what was written in the package. Between the checklists she constantly updated, the constant emails, phone calls, and the occasional meeting when we were in town, she and her team made planning our wedding fun. I miss our weekly phone calls we had in the lead up to the wedding!

As I said, Ashley is AMAZING. Not only was she a great listener, list maker, recommender, but she and her assistant designed custom table numbers with Big Ben on them, ensured that everything went smooth the day of (including ensuring that mothers, grandmothers, and other various family members were where they needed to be), and amazingly, at the end of the night my shoes, bouquet, leftovers... AND IN N OUT were waiting for us in our suite for a great after party!

My husband and I decided to have our wedding where we are both from in Southern California, but being located in Alabama for the military I was finding it hard to plan from so far away. I got recommended two different planning companies, and I decided to go with Agape. They are so professional and have a variety of services sure to fit any budget. Ashley was amazing the day of! I didn't have to stress about anything. The day of my wedding my MOH stepped through my Cathedral length veil with her heals and put a big hole in it...but Ashley came to the rescue with her bridal kit and all was well! We had such a great team and Ashley recommended some grat vendors as well. When planning a wedding from thousands of miles away it's important to have a team you can trust and you can definitely trust Agape Planning!@

I cannot say enough on how thankful I was to have Ashley and her team for my wedding. I was a nervous wreck the whole week before the big day, worried that "something will go wrong". But everything was smooth, calm, and PERFECT!!! We could not have done it without a calm and supportive Ashley by our side. Ashley and her team were AMAZING!!!! As most of my wedding was planned when I met Ashley, I needed her to help follow-up on items leading up to the wedding and as my day-of coordinator. She followed up with all vendors before the wedding making sure everyone knew what time to arrive and what they needed to do. I was so happy to have her follow up on all of the small details for me!! I never made a single call to confirm any of the wedding vendors. Not to mention the wedding day flowed perfectly!! Not a single thing went wrong and I have Ashley to thank for her incredible attention to detail!!! As someone who is a type-A, I immediately knew after meeting Ashley that she would be perfect for the job! She treats everyone wedding as if it were her own! I was able to count on Ashley for being calm, meticulous, nice, and honest! If I wanted advice, I knew Ashley would give me an honest opinion!

Thanks to Ashley every guest was saying that we were the most calm bride and groom they had ever seen!! From Day 1 to the end of the wedding night, Ashley and her team were very helpful, informative, considerate, responsive, and creative. We planned our wedding from out-of-state and having Ashley as our coordinator greatly facilitated the wedding planning process. I was fighting the fact that I needed a wedding coordinator. But once things got out of my control, I was referred to Ashley. SHE IS SIMPLY AMAZING! She stayed on top of everything and had great, constant communication with me. She was there to answer any questions I had whenever I needed answers and kept me organized throughout the whole process. She really cared about the wedding going flawless to my and my husbands liking. There are so many details to keep track of when planning a wedding. In fact, I think that most brides would agree that planning a wedding can be a full time job! When we were planning, we went back and forth about whether or not to hire a day-of-coordinator. My fiance didn't think it was worth the expense, and to be honest, neither did I. HOWEVER, after talking with Ashley and looking at the list of the things she would be taking care of, I quickly changed my mind--there was no way we weren't going to hire a day-of-coordinator! Ashley was, in a word, phenomenal. She was on top of every detail from the décor and timeline, to planning for the possibility of rainy weather, to loading our gifts and belongings into our car at the end of the night. With Ashley in control, I knew that I didn't have to worry about anything and because of that, I was able to enjoy a stress-free day with my new husband! My biggest piece of advice for brides is to hire a day-of-coordinator, and make sure that it’s Ashley!

Ashley and her team at Agape Planning are amazing! 5 starts are simply not enough for Ashley. If you have not already contacted her to help you, then please do not hesitate working with her. I promise you that you will not regret it. She was one of the most important vendors that we hired for our big day. She went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding went smoothly and was our dream come true.

I could go on and on about her, but I'll share a few important examples: It rained for several days before our wedding that was scheduled to take place in the garden. I was so bummed by the weather. But thanks to Ashley, she immediately came up with several options for us should the rain continue. She had a great vision, and used her contacts with other vendors to help us select an alternative plan that my husband and I both loved and was within our budget. Fortunately, the rain stopped and our garden ceremony was perfect. Also, a few minutes before my husband and I were to make our grand entrance followed by our First Dance, we realized that my train was too long and was getting caught in my heel when we tried to dance. Ashley to the rescue---- she opened up her bag and found clips to hold my train up so that my husband and I could finish our waltz. Amazing!

Ashley was very tentative and helpful in helping us choose various vendors and making sure we had everything we needed on the day of the wedding. She is extremely organized and from day 1 took over in communicating with our vendors on everything we need including little things like the mic, slide show, candles, etc. She is always responsive (unless she is sleeping) and things 1 step ahead of us working and communicating with us possible options and changes.

Ashley from Agape is very upbeat energetic and is there when you need her! I highly recommend her!

We had our wedding at the Nixon Library and it was amazing. Almost 370 guests attended but it felt very intimate. Ashley Powell was a life saver. She took care of everything and did so in a courteous and professional manner. She really does know how special that day is for the bride and treated us like we were the only wedding of the year (even though we know how busy she is). She was always available to answer any of our questions. We rented several pieces from her at great rates. The wedding rehearsal, ceremony and reception all went according to plan thanks to Ashley's meticulous planning and leadership. She leaves no stone unturned. When our pastor wasn't able to perform the ceremony, she asked her person pastor for us and he stepped in. It really saved the day. This is just one example of how she goes (and went) above and beyond her contracted services. She's a great wedding planner and a great person. We were happy in every way. Thank you Ashley.

I cannot recommend Ashley enough for her services. We were married at the Nixon library and she made sure everything was right on schedule and perfect. The main reason why I was not nervous on my wedding or days before was because I knew Ashley had everything under control. Everyone including myself was shocked by how calm I was. Ashley took care of all the details and I did not have to do anything or worry about anything the day of except enjoy my wedding day. She even made sure all our wedding gifts were loaded and ready to go after the party without anyone knowing!

Let me start with saying that you NEED to hire Ashley. We weren't going to hire a coordinator at all. But my husband (yay!) and I live in New York, and with our wedding on the other side of the country, we decided it would be good to hire someone for the day of the wedding only. Ashley turned out to be much more than a day-of coordinator. Although that is technically what our contract stated, she helped us from day one (12 months away), suggesting venues, vendors, ideas, tips, etc. The thing about Ashley is that working with her is like working with a close friend. In fact, I'm sad the wedding is over because we don't get to be in such good communication. We always felt that she had everything under control. As it got closer to the wedding, Ashley took over, got all our information, filled in the spots we'd missed, and coordinated everything beautifully with all our vendors.

The day of the wedding, everything was absolutely seamless. No one in my family worried about a thing (and for a family of worry warts, that is a huge statement). Ashley took care of EVERYTHING, including things I didn't even ask her to do. Every detail was done before I even got there. Nothing went wrong. NOTHING. Down to the last detail, our entire day was perfect- from the timing to the transitions, to getting guests from one part of the venue to another, to my flip flops that magically showed up under my table at the reception, to our leftovers appearing in our car when we never even specified that we wanted them, nor told her which car was ours. When we greeted each guest and got stuck, she was our "evil eye" that helped us move on... we never would have gotten to talk to everyone without her timely, graceful pushing! And the most amazing thing about it is that no one even noticed she was there unless they needed her. When our photographers took us to an unknown area without telling her where we were going, she was waiting for us right as we got back as if she knew where we were the whole time. Finally, Ashley works so extremely well with the other vendors involved that everyone WANTED to make our wedding the best ever. And it was. Ashley, we couldn't have done it without you. I’m a bit of a perfectionist and was initially apprehensive about having a wedding planner handle the details of my wedding day. After my first meeting with Ashley all my apprehension had faded away. Choosing Ashley was one of the best decisions I made when planning our wedding. She is organized, has impeccable taste and pays great attention to the details. The week before my wedding was stress free & my actual wedding day was seamless (170 guests), largely in part to Ashley- even my bridesmaids (2 of which recently got married) commented about how on top of things Ashley & her staff were. Ashley helped make all my dreams & expectations of my wedding day a reality.

Ashley is worth every penny. She took care of everything the day of the wedding from the flow of events to making sure every candle was lit. She also put together a beautiful candy station that everyone is still raving about. I don't think everything would have been possible without her.

Everyone loved it! Our families were very impressed. Ashley helped make our wedding the happiest and most memorable day of our life.

Ashley was amazing...and a bargain. Not only would this wedding probably not have happened without her superb organization and timeline, but the day itself went so smoothly. She is incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and cheerful. She thought of everything we could have possibly needed in advanced and kept us on-track and focused throughout the entire process. The wedding and reception went so smoothly because of all of the prep work she put in and all of the behind-the-scenes work she did so that we could just relax (as much as feasibly possible on your wedding day) and have a great time. Ashley ran interference with all of the vendors so we had nothing to do but enjoy the party. We cannot recommend her enough.

First of all, I am truly embarrassed that this review is sooooo longer overdue! Ashley deserves all the praise and compliments that we received for our dream wedding. Our wedding was in May 2011. Ashley was truly a GEM to work with! From our initial meeting, I knew that we were in good hands with Ash. I am a very picky, type a bride. To me it was so important that all of our vendors were 1) easy to work with 2) just as enthusiastic about our wedding, 3) dependable. Ash was all that and beyond. I truly appreciated her patience with my gazilion questions and emails. She always made me feel assured that everything was in place and in order until the very last moment of our wedding day. We hired Ashley for wedding day-of-coordination for 550 guests at the Hyatt Huntington Beach and it was the best decision we could have made. Ashley went above and beyond her call of duty. Ashley is worth her weight in platinum, and you don't realize it until your wedding day--when ten million things happen at once and you realize there is no way you could have handled everything and enjoyed your wedding at the same time. I am extremely meticulous, the kind of person who does everything above and beyond and doesn't really trust anyone to do things for me. But in Ashley I had a clone--a person who thought of things even I didn't--and I would not dream of getting married without her. Hire her while she's still affordable. She's one of those people who knows what she's doing and has heart.

Ashley was the oil that kept our wedding day moving smoothly. She was incredibly organized throughout the planning process and seemed to always be two steps ahead of us. Issues came up as they always do but with Ashley, I would find out about an issue and hear the solution she already had in place in the next sentence. She completely had our back and would check in even during the hectic wedding day to make sure we were happy with everything. We had a Persian wedding where the families are very involved in the process and the guests do not always end up where they need to be, but Ashley had great finesse w. everyone despite any language/culture barriers. Because of her we were able to completely relax and enjoy our day rather than worrying about the execution of different details. She was also great at keeping us on schedule! One telling anecdote: with all the excitement of the day, I was 30 secs away from walking down the aisle without my bouquet! None of us even noticed but Ashley caught me just in time and nearly broke her back running upstairs to my prep room to grab it and got it to me just in time - in perfect condition and without any of the guest noticing. From the first phone call to the thank you emails she sent to my vendors the day after she was a joy to work with. She really partners with each of her clients to make sure they're getting the dedicated treatment they deserve. I felt our wedding was difficult to plan because everyone involved had a different opinion about everything. It was hard to find something that would work for me, my fiance, and our very different families. Ashley took the time to understand where we're coming from and took scrupulous notes on all the things that would affect the outcome of the day.

Even though I had booked her final countdown package, she was never too busy during the early stages of the wedding planning process to answer questions. As things got closer to the day of she was great at reaching out to make sure my planning was still on track. Ashley was a lifesaver! She expertly dealt with two different mothers (bride's and groom's) and their differing expectations regarding the wedding and at the same time kept me, the bride, happy with the final compromises. She was able to lend all her wonderful fresh ideas when both my fiance and I were drawing blanks. Somehow, she managed to make a crazy hectic day turn into a smooth and beautiful occasion. I was amazed at how Ashley was able to control the massive amount of guests (375+), most of who weren't even English speaking, and keep the program moving along so effortlessly. We were always on schedule and were still able to do everything we wanted. But most importantly, she made us feel like everything was going to be ok. From her morning text of "Good luck and have fun" on the AM of the wedding, to the hugs of congrats at the end of the night, Ashley made sure all the details were perfect without ever making us feel stressed out. Wow. I truly cannot say enough about what Ashley and Agape Planning did for us. Weddings are complicated-- ridiculously complicated-- but Ashley honestly makes it look easy. I wish I could give Ashley more than 5 stars! When I began wedding planning, I did not think I would need a wedding coordinator, since I had tons of friends' referrals and lots of time. However, my venue (although gorgeous) was very strict with their rules, and no one I knew had gotten married there (a reason why I chose it). Ashley was their recommended coordinator. I was a little hesitant because she hadn't planned a Pakistani or Muslim wedding before, but she was so eager to learn about the customs and different traditions. Where do we begin? Erick and I have now been blissfully married for 2 months and just recently had the chance to sit down and enjoy pictures as well as share wonderful memories of that special day that Ashley helped bring to fruition.

Ashley was a pleasure to work with from the beginning. I planned my CA wedding from the east coast and knew I wanted at day-of coordinator to help take the stress off my wedding day. I had to book over the phone and Ashley was the only coordinator I connected with and felt confident about. Although I only booked her day-of services, she went above and beyond. From the first day, she was on top of things. Ashley is organized, caring, personal, professional, and really made me feel like she was there to make my visions come true. I booked 9 months in advance, but she still checked in on me every month. When the final month came, she was one step ahead of me confirming and finalizing all of my vendors for me. Ashley Powell with Agape Planning was truly amazing! I know a lot of brides talk about how "great" or "amazing" their wedding planner was, but Ashley was more than just "great" or "amazing" she really was a life saver or should I say, "Wedding Saver!" I was not the typical bride, I was not one of those girls that looks forward to her wedding day all her life and spends most of her childhood dreaming up her dream wedding. For that reason, when I got engaged, I thought that the last thing I need to spend money on was a "wedding planner" I figured "wedding planners/coordinators" were for spoiled brides that had so much money that they didn't know what to do with it. Needless to say, I got a rude awakening when I started planning our wedding! My fiance and I got engaged on Feb. 15, 2009 and at that time we set a wedding date of May 1, 2010...plenty of time to come up with what my idea of a "perfect" wedding would be and of course plan it. Then, in June 2009, my fiance's father fell ill and we needed to move up our wedding (we wanted to get married by the end of 2009). When we decided to move up the wedding in June, I hadn't planned or confirmed anything yet because I thought we had until May 2010. The only thing I had managed to cross off the "Wedding To Do List" was buy my gown :-) Once I realized that I only had 4 1/2 months to plan the perfect wedding, I began to stress out (that's putting it lightly). I was planning a wedding in Southern CA, while living in Northern CA and I was not familiar with venues or vendors in So Cal. I decided to finally give in and set-up some calls with wedding planners. Ashley was the third wedding coordinator that I contacted. Let's just say, the saying, "save the best for last" was so true! Ashley was so sweet, so professional, so sincere, so well-organized, and she really has a great eye for all things wedding! To make things worse, I was planning a wedding in 4 1/2 months and I had a very tight budget and a large wedding guest list (tight budget and big guest list = recipe for disaster BUT NOT IF YOU HAVE ASHLEY!) Investing in Ashley's services, actually ended up saving me money! Her vendor contacts were the best in the industry and she had vendors across the board for all budgets! Plus, she always had little money saving tips that really did work (not those cheesey ones you read in all the Bridal magazines). I had to fight my family and fiance tooth and nail to hire Ashley because everyone told me that I didn't need a coordinator because I had so many people that could help me (aunt, mom, cousins, 6 really eager & helpful bridesmaids ready to do anything) but after my initial conference call with Ashley, I just knew that she was going to help keep me calm and that she was probably my only shot at pulling the wedding off without suffering a nervous breakdown. Thank goodness, I stuck to my gut instinct and decided to hire Ashley!! Thanks to Ashley, I not only pulled off the wedding, but, it seriously was so much nicer than I would have ever imagined!! I can honestly say that I didn't worry about a single thing on my wedding day! Ashley and her assistant were fundamental in executing the perfect wedding! Our wedding was a culturally mixed wedding and I was really worried about the music because my family insisted on a middle eastern band/singer and my fiance and his family only wanted a DJ. Ashley made sure that she came up with a timeline that ensured that both groups would be pleased...and they were :-) Ashley was totally in charge of coordinating everything with the vendors and making sure they were there on time and doing everything that they were suppose to do...and they did...thanks to Ashley! Thanks to Ashley, I really got to enjoy my wedding and I can honestly say that I did not have any "freak out" moments on my wedding day...I can't even think of a single thing that went "wrong" (not to say that it didn't because I'm told that's impossible, but I sure didn't notice and neither did anyone else..I would guess if anything did go wrong then, Ashley was probably the only one that knew). I can go on and on about how wonderful Ashley from Agape Planning was and I would love to say more to anyone that wants to personally contact me. If I could give a higher rating on quality of service for Ashley I would. She was amazing. I wish weddings happened more often in life so I could continue to use her. If I have another big party to plan I would definitely use her.
Ashley is very professional, but really personable. I felt comfortable with her immediately and she had done so many weddings that she had lots of ideas to help me when I was stuck. I was amazed hearing about the different kinds of weddings she did, it felt like we were on the same page yet she was able to plan such different types of weddings. I think she would be a great fit for anyone. If there is a new tradition she had not heard of, she learns about it on her own.
Ashley's pricing is very reasonable. There is so much that she helped us on I really felt like we should have paid more. There were just little things that she would do that were above and beyond what we expected.
Of course it's bound to happen that one changes their mind a few times. Ashley is great about going with the flow and just wanted to help. She was great about asking what I thought and not just charging ahead with her own ideas. She has done so many weddings that she knows what works best. She took my ideas and molded them to what worked best and it was a beautiful end product. I never once felt like she tried to get me to do a different idea than what I desired. There can be a fear of the wedding planner forcing their ideas on you, but that was far from the truth with Ashley. I got to plan my wedding and it was definitely "my" wedding. I enjoyed putting all the personal touches to it.
The day of my wedding went so smoothly I didn't hear of anything bad happening. I got to enjoy the day without any worries.
I highly recommend Ashley. People would ask me if I was stressed before the wedding, but I was able to truthfully say no. The planning of my wedding was enjoyable and I believe it was due to Ashley. I had a decor change a couple weeks before the wedding and she was great about working with me on it and making sure no details were left out. I can't say enough good things about Ashley. Just meet with her and you will see for yourself.

This review is for Day-of / week-of coordination only. I hired Ashley to help primarily with timeline and vendor coordination and didn't have the opportunity to have a full-service planner help with all the details.

I was one of those brides who thought for sure that I could do it all on my own and that I didn't need a wedding coordinator. But after my mom saw countless episodes of "Who's Wedding Is It Anyway" and saw how the planners saved the day time and again, she convinced me to hire at least a day of coordinator.

Fast forward to the week before my wedding - I can't imagine what I would have done without Ashley. She gave me organization and perspective when there just weren't enough hours in the day to get everything done that I needed to do. She handled all the vendor confirmations (and trust me, there are more vendors than one busy bride can keep straight), put together a clear, step-by-step timeline, and my favorite part - she sent an email out about a day or two before the wedding to all my vendors saying that "from this point forward, the bride and groom request that all questions go through Ashley".

On my wedding day, I didn't have sight of a clock at any point in the day. Ashley sweetly but firmly (which is important with a coordinator) kept everything on track, made sure my hubby and I ate (or at least tasted) each course, paid our vendors, and dealt with any problem - if there were any.

I initially thought that day-of coordinators were a luxury or an unnecessary expense but now, after it is all said and done, I can easily say that having Ashley's help and expertise was priceless!

We hired Ashley to coordinate our wedding at the rehearsal and the day of. Ashley was extremely organized and our wedding would not have been as flawlessly executed without her. From making sure our vendors were set-up on time, to running our entire ceremony to making sure my makeup was touched up throughout the entire evening. I am so grateful for all of her hard work. We could not have done it without her! I have recommended Ashley to all of my friends who are getting married.

I would highly recommend Ashley with Agape Planning. She not only was warm and friendly she was professional and extremely organized. This is one area I would never leave out of the whole wedding process. Ashley provided a service that goes above and beyond planning and organization...she provided "Peace of Mind". Ashley, what can I say,... If only I had called you sooner, right? After planning my own wedding, I had no way of making sure all of the beautiful things I had planned would ever be realized. And then we called Ashley. It was a breath of fresh air. i had forgotten what relaxed felt like! She took care of EVERYTHING for me so I could enjoy being the bride, and anticipating the big day! Ashley was not only a wedding planner, day of coordinator, instructor, manager, administrator, crisis negotiator(just kidding), she was my right hand gal. I know my beautiful vintage black tie wedding would've been a big black mess without you!! Thank you ever so much for making our one and only wedding day flawless!

Hiring Ashley Powell as my wedding coordinator was probably the best decision I made when planning my wedding. Knowing that Ashley was taking care of every detail the day of my wedding gave me a peace that I would not have had unless she was there! She took care of all the little problems that happened without me even knowing about them! This is a sign of an excellent coordinator! For example, I found out after my wedding that the linen company did not show up until an hour and a half after they were supposed to, and yet everything was still set up on time, exactly the way I envisioned it! I hired Ashley to make sure that everything went according to plan the day of my wedding and that is exactly what she did. Not only was she fantastic the day of my wedding, but she was also very helpful leading up to the wedding. She was very professional and very easy to talk to. Anytime I called or emailed her a question, she always got back to me the same day or shortly after. Without having Ashley as my coordinator, I know that my wedding would not have been as wonderful as it was!

One of the best decisions I made during the wedding planning process was to hire Ashley!

I knew how important a day-of coordinator was and in my selection process I searched for someone who was: 1.) experienced, 2.) organized, 3.) motivated, 4.) a great communicator, 5.) calm under pressure.

During our initial meeting and every meeting that followed, Ashley blew me away with her incredible ability to help us organize, prioritize and process all the tasks we needed to accomplish for the wedding. She created extremely helpful tools to help us stay on track and informed such as a vendor contact list, schedule of events highlighting to-dos, bride and groom to-do list, etc. (Although you can download lots of tools online, it makes a big difference to have a professional create a schedule for you and know realistically whether the timing will work!)

She was also able to draw on her experience planning so many past weddings to give us suggestions on how to think through logistics and take traditional etiquette into account. Her attitude was always upbeat and positive, and I can't tell you how priceless this was during those times I felt overwhelmed with the wedding planning process.

The day of the wedding, there were the small "surprises" that happen at every wedding, but I can honestly say that Ashley handled everything to perfection and my husband and I were able to enjoy every minute of our wedding knowing that Ashley was taking care of things behind the scenes. She shielded us from the small things and let us know when something important happened (e.g., we weren't able to use the sparklers we had bought for the farewell exit). She partnered so well with the vendors and treated all of our bridal party and guests with respect. We received so many compliments about her professionalism and leadership under pressure. I was so blessed to have Ashley as part of our special day, and would recommend her 100% to any bride.

I can not say enough about Agape Planning and Ashley Powell! Ashley worked with us and helped to put our minds at ease during the planning process. She helped me time everything and not stress! On the big day she was so calm and collected (at a destination wedding location she had never been to!) Ashley dealt with difficult questions and family members with ease while we were allowed to enjoy our day. Our family ended up loving Ashley and realizing how much a wedding coordinator was needed. When my husband and I decided to get married we turned to Ashley. I have worked with Ashley for years now. We worked at the same company where she handled event planning for our clients. We quickly became wonderful friends, as it is impossible not to adore Ashley. AS for my wedding, I fell in love with the idea of been married on February 29 (Leap Year) but only come to this decision on February 2nd. Ashley planned every detail of my wedding and worked tirelessly with the resort to make sure everything would be perfect. She has an amazing array of vendors she works with. We needed to find a photographer, florist... just about everything for our wedding. She made a few calls and set me up with all her service providers, which were fantastic! And, she pulled everything together in 27 days!! We can't imagine what Ashley could dream up with more time. Ashley was great about working within our budget and still giving us everything we wanted.
