Al photographed my sister's wedding and I was so impressed with her pictures that he was the only choice for me. Al responded to all my questions quickly and gave very detailed answers. On my wedding day Al was prompt(to the minute),calm, and had many great ideas for photo ops. He worked extremely hard to meet every expectation I had and was knowledgable and patient. The pictures turned out great and I received the proof books quickly. I think that his prices are very reasonable and he is definitely worth it! AL treated me and my husband as though our wedding was as important to him as it was to us. I was apparent that Al loves his craft and takes time to make sure everything is exactly how you want it. If you choose Al you will not be disappointed!

Al was absolutely wonderful for our wedding. He drove to the far northern suburbs of Chicago from his home in Montgomery, IL. His prices were extremely reasonable and his artistic side was very apparent as he was positioning us for the pictures. I would recommend him to anyone getting married!!
Al is a great photographer. If you're looking to save money, he's the perfect way to go. His prices are reasonable, and his technique is great. As long as you don't need to have multiple photographers (ie, one with bride and one with groom during preparations), then Al is a great choice.

I liked Al's packages. He was very affordable and very nice. I enjoyed how fun he was. But I do wish that I had more candid photography from my wedding. That was the only thing that was missing. And the assistant he brought along didn't seem to know what she was doing...she just kept getting in the way!

Lindsey did give me a five star review but her comment about wishing she had more candids is misleading because she hired me for only enough time to schedule her formals before and after the ceremony, along with the ceremony itself, and that was all there was time for. My true photographic motto is "capturing the moment" and for those that schedule my day to include being there for moments beyond the formals and the ceremony that certainly will be the emphasis.As far as my assistant, that person was there to help keep a 2nd camera always film loaded,(only 20 shots per roll back in 2004!) but now that I am completely digital, I work alone with hundreds of exposures per memory card in each of my cameras.
