My husband and I were in absolute awe over the wedding video that Alan made for us. It was almost like our own movie about our love story. He went above and beyond to capture each aspect and detail of the wedding! Everyone who I have shown it to has said that they have never seen anything like it and that they have to forward it to a friend to see it too. This is definitely something that I will cherish for the rest of my life and be proud to show my kids someday, it was SOOOO beautiful!!! I would highly recommend Alan Larsen Films to my friends who are getting married (and already have :)) Thank you Alan, God Bless!!:)

Alan and Ian are brilliant cinematographers and are true professionals from a business as well a production perspective. I liked the fact that they listened and produced exactly what we had asked for. My telephone calls or e-mail questions were always answered in a very timely fashion. There were no hassles. I would recommend them for your wedding at a moment’s notice.

Alan was fantastic! He filmed my outdoor wedding in Sept 2011. He was a total pleasure to work with and we LOVE our videos!!! We had a 3 to 4 minute highlight video set to our favorite song and my husband keeps calling it our music video :) The editing is fantastic and he captured everything we talked about. Everyone is so impressed!!

He also put together a film of excerpts from just our ceremony. It's so beautiful!! He really captured the mood and emotion of the moment. I love having the contrast of the ceremony and the fun wedding highlight video.

Honestly, before the wedding we were on the fence about having a professional video done. Especially after seeing so many cheesy wedding videos online. I am so grateful we came across Alan's website!! He is so talented and it really shows in his work. We went from not being sure if we wanted a video to having it be the best thing we came away with!!!

We offer everything from the raw footage to complete edits of your entire wedding. Let us know what you want!

Describe any special editing services you offer:

Our cinematic editing service "wedding films" are unmatched in the wedding industry. Because all of our employees are filmmakers first, the stories that we create from your wedding is nothing short of amazing. We hope to make you feel as if you are the movie stars of your life.

Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event?

We recommend all potential clients contact their DJ to have them bring additional lighting for the reception if there isn't much at the venue. The DJ can provide a much more dynamic experience at reasonable prices rather than the videographers can. We do provide small lights for close up shots as needed.

How many videographers do you work with?

We have four videographers that work through Alan Larsen Films

Does the client get to meet the videographers before the event?

We prefer to meet with clients before the wedding to discuss all the details. If the distance is too great to easily meet up, it is possible to have a video conference to talk about details.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

I will let any potential clients know before we sign a contract if I will not be able to be there on the date.

Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

We can book up to two weddings on any given day

Do you have a replacement videographer in case you become unavailable on the event day?

I do have replacement videographers.

Do you charge overtime?

Do you give access to your raw footage?

Yes.

Do you reserve the right to use the video in the future for deals, contents, etc.?

Yes.

Is the client involved in the editing process? If so, how much input does the client have in editing?

The client gets to make small adjustments to the final product. I take the clients opinion but use my discretion when doing so.

How long does it take for the client to get the final video?

There is typically a 14 week turnaround time. I will let clients know if that changes at all but usually the final product is delivered much earlier than that.
