Alfa Flower & Wedding Shop

I used Alfa because my best friend did for her wedding and the flowers were amazing. Ours were equally as amazing! I still can't stop looking at pictures of them. The only complaint I can make is my bouquet was wrong and I even gave them a picture of what I wanted. Still beautiful though. Also I was never told the vases had to be washed when I brought them back and the lady in the store was pretty rude about it.

Beautiful flowers. Very well arranged bouquets. Very helpful. Good value for delivery and set up of centerpieces. Very nice to have everything in one place (ceremony flowers, reception flowers, centerpieces, etc.)

We worked with Katie and she was very easy to get a hold of and replied quickly to our phone calls and emails. She was friendly and accommodating and we were very happy with the final product!

We did not get all our flowers from Alfa because they quoted my centerpieces alone at $80 apiece, but we used them for the "personal flowers", bouquets for all of us and baskets for the flower girls, boutenieres and corsages as well as some altar arrangements and some of the roses for the centerpieces at the reception. Jan was fantastic to work with and brought up several things I hadn't considered, such as putting the altar flowers on columns so that they could be seen in pictures, as well as not having the exact same shade of roses as the girls dresses so they don't look like black blobs on the photos.

Negatives were that I didn't check out the flowers the day before and I wasn't happy with some of the contrasting smaller flowers that were put in the flower girls baskets or the girls bouquets. Also, they did not get my maid of honors phone number nor looked up my mom's phone number, so instead left me 5 messages on my voice mail when I returned from my honeymoon asking for the rental items back! My mom is in the phone book, I can't believe they didn't try to find her or ask for these in advance. My maid of honor simply forgot to return these for me and had them in her garage, forgotten.

I loved my bouquet though, it was exactly what I wanted. The altar flowers were fine, they weren't as important to me. Also, they managed to get the special type of roses I wanted for my centerpieces for me last minute when my internet floral wholesaler, (2GRoses.com) was oversold on them, although I paid through the nose to get them.

I literally called, told them what I was looking for and my budget. The flowers were more than I could have ever wished for! Gorgeous and such an easy transaction!

This is a really great place for wedding favors and things as well as flowers. The staff is really excellent. The florist I worked with, Mary, was really great about helping to create flower arrangements for my wedding bouquets and centerpieces that were unique and beautiful. They delivered the flowers on the day of the wedding, everything arrived on time and was super fresh. It looked even better than the sample she showed me. Also, they have invitations and wedding favors at the shop. This was wear I bought a few decorations and things for my wedding shower. I really recommend making this your first stop for wedding planning.

Very easy to work with. Only problem was that when we picked the flowers together, they did not tell us that the flowers chosen for the boutinnieres were very fragile and fell apart with the first hugging of another person. The flowers were gorgeous and we had the woman pin on the flowers and set everything up at both the church and the reception. They also said they would put on our wedding cake topper (since they were putting the flowers on too), only problem was that they set up the little people wrong! Nothing we couldn't fix quick :)

ALFA did a great job with our floral arrangements and bouquets. They were beautiful, and still looked fresh 2 weeks after the wedding!

Alfa was wonderful. The flowers were amazing. They were expensive. They delivered to the church and stayed until I was down the aile. They made sure that the wedding party was pinned, looking good and had nothing in their months (for pictures)... Alfa was super flexible, I call three days before our wedding to add additional flowers and they were able add them with no problem.

We got married on a funny holiday weekend. I had been to other places and just never liked the people. But once I walked into Alfa------I Fell in Love. I think I spent almost 4 hours looking at books and having people help me. I actually found my wedding programs here too! They suggested ideas for the flowers and decorations. NEVER ONCE PUSHED me into something I didn't want. I came really prepared with a list of people for flowers and I got everything that I ever could have imagined.
