Alfred Angelo-Lakewood/ Long Beach

The dress never come on time. Shipment was 3 weeks late. Not only was I terribly stressed beyond my strength but I believe they purposely did this to force me to use their seamstress and charged me up the wahzoo. Be careful ladies. I recommend a more reputable Bridal Store with NO hidden strings. Stay clear from this place I want to save you the headache it caused me. No joke. Best wishes.

I love the dress that I got from this shop. Because it was discontinued and it was the only dress of its kind left, I was able to buy it at basically 70% off, which is really unbeatable. The majority of their dresses are also pretty affordable.

However for the store itself: it's pretty small and only has about 3-4 people working there at a time. They're usually "busy" and you'll need an appointment or else they won't really be available to help you. Their service was only "ok". The girl who helped me was able to get dresses and make recommendations. She knew their store's dress designs well. However, the people who work there (generally) seem like they don't know too much about weddings or the wedding industry. To me, it seemed like they only worked there because it was the retail job that was offered to them. By all means, still visit the store (especially if there are none other around you) if you're looking for good prices, but don't expect the best service.

My dress was pretty, but my alterations were a disaster! They messed it up so bad that my dress fit terribly on the day of the wedding. It is my one regret when i look back on my wedding photos.

I loved my dress, but had issues with Alfred Angelo. They recommended a bra to me that totally did not work with my dress. The bra was almost $60.00 and they DO NOT do refunds or exchanges so I ended up being stuck with it! They also lost my veil 5 days before my wedding!

I really loved the dresses we got from Alfred Angelo however from a business standpoint I can only describe them with one word. Unprofessional! They were very rude, unhelpful and had no idea what they were talking about. At one point when I was asking the sales girl at the counter a question she said "I'm sorry I'm not listening" I would never go back to Alfred Angelo again. If you can avoid using them, I would recommend going somewhere else.

I didn't like the suggestions they brought out for me, but the girls were really sweet. Once I found what I wanted (on a rack), they helped me with the petticoat (which i ended up not needing anyway). I prefer them to David's Bridal (as far as the employees and the selection) but I wish I would have spent more time looking.

Loved the dresses, but disappointed in the quality of service. We were told a date for bridesmaids dresses to be in, then were told a different date when we called a few weeks later. Received the dresses on time after frequent calls.
