Kim was my consultant and she has an eye for finding the right dress! she listens well and is super supportive! she told me it got better and that she was looking for 1 dress in particular and when she brought it in it was the one I fell in love with online. She did a great job measuring me because I did not need any alterations when I got my dress in. All I did was add a bustle. I paid for it at the AA shop which was pretty pricey! I suggest going next door to Prestige Tailors next door.. much more affordable

They help me try on multiple dresses and they were great on getting me appointments for my bridesmaids and I.

I bought my dress almost two years before my wedding because I loved it so much. The service was a bit slow but I did get taken care of eventually. I had a personal issue to where I had to alter my dress from zipper to corset and that was an ordeal. The corset looked great until you looked at the bottom where is was tied. There was too much boning so my underwear showed. They fixed that situation then another arose. It took about five fittings, most with my outspoken mother, for them to finally get everything looking okay. The cost of alterations was outrageous. I could have purchased a new dress for the cost of the alterations. My biggest issue with this store was their alterations people. I would recommend getting your dress here but go somewhere else for alterations.

I was able to select a bridesmaid dress and order it in any color. This was helpful since I did not want a traditional long dress. There were many styles to select. However, the cost of alteration was high and I ended up having to take it elsewhere after I paid to have it altered there.

Alfred Angelo....where to start? To be honest, trying on the dress and picking out the dress was great. They were fun and professional and I LOVED my dress...until it arrived at the store one month before my wedding. When I tried on my actual dress, the slip had been sown inside out. You could see the slip through my dress. The boning showed very very badly. So they reassured me they could fix it. They started pulling on the slip. 15 minutes later....my dress fell apart...while I was wearing it. I had one month until the wedding and couldn't get another dress in time. They also would not give me my money back. They brought out three dresses from the back and said they only had these in my size. I had to choose one of these three. Out of all the dresses, styles, and vendors in Houston. I was only allowed to choose one of three dresses to wear on my wedding day. At first, I hated the one I chose. After my brides maids saw it and were excited about it, I was fine with it. Then Alfred Angelo bustled the dress. The bustle didn't hold but 30 minutes at the reception. I spent most of the reception fixing my bustle and finally gave up and just held it. The dress turned out great for the wedding, but it wasn't the dress I had picked out. It photographed well but any pictures of me from behind look funny because the bustle fell.I also picked out a crown to go with my first dress. It didn't match the second dress. At first they said they wouldn't exchange it. But I have a persuasive mother =) They let me pick out a new crown that cost $100 less. They gave me $100 store credit but would not give me my money back. In the end, I was married and my husband loved my dress. (He never saw the first one)Although, If I could do it again...I would not go anywhere near Alfred Angelo.

Incorrect measurements, wrong size dress, hours of tears trying to convince them it was their fault and to order me the correct size...When the right one got there, things got better and staff was nicer. Maybe that's because they were paid and the dress fit. I will say that the alterations lady is good, and quite nice. Only problem is that she's only there on Thursday. Plan accordingly. I guess it's what I expected from a big chain store...

I had a very bad experience there i found a dress that i loved and ended up getting but i was never able to get it altered in time for my big day.. so i had to go out and look for another dress for my big day because nothing would be done in time. thankfully i found a dress elsewhere that didn't need anything done and had nothing wrong with it.there was so much wrong with the dress that i had bought from alfred angelo and i was told that they can fix it no problem but when i try to get it fixed they couldn't seem to find the time. its almost as if they want you to make a purchase and once the card is charged they can care less what happens after that. my bridesmaids ordered their dresses there as well and they tried ordering larger sizes for them when they said no. well alfred angelo took it upon themselves to just do it anyway and all my bridesmaids had to have alterations done because of alfred angelos lack of listening skills. one of my bridesmaid didn't even get her dress till two days before the wedding when all the dresses were ordered at the same time.. i would never recommend anyone to go there.

Alfred Angelo was a great place to buy a beautiful dress. My daughter bought her dress at the Greenspoint store when they were closing and then had all the work done at the Willowbrook store. We ordered the bridesmaid dresses and had all alterations done at the Willowbrook store. The staff is very gracious in working with harried brides and mothers and alterations were beautifully done. Having never had a wedding gown altered before, I had nothing to compare to, so don't know how the price would compare to other companies.

Becareful! Read the fine print... Had to get my dress reordered because they sized me wrong. Once the real dress came in everything went great!

The ladies at Alfred Angelo Willowbrook were such a please to work with. I didn't think I would find the right dress on m first visit but I did and they made it so easy to get it fitted Just right. They also assisted my brides maids to choose the right colors I wanted and all of them had a different design made of the same fabric. I hightly recommed this location.

I ordered my wedding dress, invitations, napkins and had my dress altered at this Alfred Angelo. I have spent almost $2,000 on them only to recieve the worst service I've ever had. When I ordered my wedding napkins, the sales associate who helped me was rude. When I came to get my dress fitted, I waited 30 minutes before I could get any help- even with an appointment. Now, to top everything off, my wedding invitations are late. I called and was put on hold for 15 minutes, only to have a response back to me of: "I don't know" by the store manager. I suggest to take your business to another place

I bought a beautiful ivory mermaid style dress from here for less than $400! My first visit was disappointing; I wasn't attended to and the associate didn't help with the gown selection. I DID find the perfect dress here, but had a few problems before purchasing - I wasn't in their system and when I returned my dress wasn't available for me to try on.

Alfred Angelo was the second and last stop to finding a dress. They do have a beautiful selection and at the right prices...So I purchased my dress, bridesmaids dresses, and invitations at this location...but after it was all said and done, I wished I'd never have used them! My invitations which were simple white came out wrong, not once, or twice...BUT THREE TIMES!! When the brides maids dresses came in, which were two pieces...they came in seperatly...yet I received a call when the top came in, but not when the bottoms came in...and wondered why they didn't come in all together as ONE DRESS... Also...I didnt receive a phone call when my actual wedding dress arrived...then..when I arrived at the store to pick it up after I HAD CALLED THEM...I didnt receive the veil I had been told was ordered, so I had to RE order it and pay extra for quick ship - which is BS because the sales associate knew what I wanted to order from the beginning and had stated so...Since all but one bridesmaid lives outside of Houston, I had to deal with this myself and the extra stress was NOT WANTED!!

I thought I was getting a very nice dress for mother-of-the-bride. The initial cost of it was 1/2 the cost of my daughter's bridal gown! When it came in, the fit was so AWEFUL that I could NOT WEAR IT! They insisted it was "my size" and could not take it back, but would be happy to alter it. the ALTERATION COST was HALF THE PRICE OF THE DRESS!!!!! I will NEVER come to this store again, and will tell everybody I know to STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Needless to say, Alfred Angelo was not very helpful at all! One of my bridesmaids shoe had to be re-dyed 3 different times and they charged her extra for this service which I was told would be free. They also put one of my other bridesmaids under another wedding party. And the zippers on the dresses would not lay down like they were supposed to. They did get the dresses on time, but the service and attitude at this particular Alfred Angelo's could have been better.

Go as far in advance as possible!! Its never to early to order your dress. The bridal party discounts are great!

The selection of dresses is great for all the women in the wedding, and the prices really can't be beat. I bought my dress and veil at this location, and I also had my alterations done here. The service was amazing...before I bought my dress. Afterwards, it was chaos. I think the entire staff changed in less than 6 months; I often dealt with a different person each time I went there. The discounts for the BM, MOB, flowergirls, invitations, accessories were a nice addition, but I did not use any of them because dealing with the employees was like banging your head against a wall. But my dress came in on time, in the correct color, and in the ordered size. Thankfully, Monica (the seamstress) only had to take in a little bit around the waist and bust, but then the alterations started for the bra (which they told me would be the only one that would fit underneath and ended up taking 4 appointments to make fit underneath the dress). I would recommend going somewhere else for the alterations because it is really expensive and you do often have to wait for them to get the dress from the back room than you actually do in the dress while it is being fitted. I also had to go through the entire dress with the seamstress and the store manager to show them where the beads were missing or loose. The seamstress was actually trying to cut the strings where beads were supposed to be off and telling me that it was just a loose string. They became flexible for my fittings after this because my mom pointed this out (very loudly) on a busy day. If you buy from them, buy early and have lots of patience.

I purchased my wedding gown at Alfred. If you are having alterations, they aren't very flexible with dates that you can have this task completed (I was coming from across outer Houston after work). I believe this is standard Alfred policy. It was extremely busy on alteration dates and, as a result, the employees didn't have time to be very attentive. We had to wait for almost 45 minutes after our appointment before anyone came to help us. However, it was a good experience to wear the dress and shoes for so long (just like on the wedding day). My alternations were a bit too long and it made it difficult to dance our first dance (I was stepping all over the back and sides of my dress). Despite all this, I really liked my gown and was able to find something unique for a reasonable price. Sign up for their mailing list and you will receive discount notifications in the mail. I waited for a good deal ($200 off) before I came in to buy.

I enjoyed my experience here. This is were my bridesmaids, Matron and Maid of Honor got their dresses. My mother also used this location. Tamela was helpful and always remembered who I was when I came in. RECOMMENDED!!!!!

I found THE dress here on the 50% off rack and it was gorgeous. They have beautifulu high-quality dresses at very affordable prices. I also found the brides maids dresses here and they have such a wide selection of styles and can match any color, trust me my colors were hot pink and bright orange.

The first time I went in the people were very nice. After I bought my dress, they completely changed. They were rude to all of my bridesmaids, and had no common sense. When I took my dress to be altered, they did it wrong and lost my ties for my dress (corset back). They acted like it was my fault. I will never step foot back in this store again.

Alfred Angelo did a great job getting me my wedding dress of my dreams. Once I ordered my dress it came in quicker than expected. My sales consultant was always calling and checking up on me. They kept me on track for when I had to choose the bridesmaids dresses and get them ordered. When my wedding dress came in and my petticoat that I bought wasn't big enough, they exchanged the petticoat out with no hassle. I got the wedding dress of my dreams for a really great price!

This was probably the vedor I had the least favorable experience with. Everytime I went it, it was like pulling teeth trying to get help. I bought my dress at a AA in CA and had it shipped. THis AA did my alterations. They did them wrong the first time so I had to come back a 2nd time. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't what I expected.

I really found it amazing how they could screw up so many orders at one time. They do this for a living! First of all, I would NEVER by my wedding dress there. I went to Alfred Angelo for my bridesmaids' dresses. They had a really cute selection and all in the color that I wanted. I gave them the style and color of dresses that I wanted (including the one maternity dress). I sent my bridesmaids to order them and they had no idea what they were talking about. Good thing, the bridesmaids were organized because Alfred Angelo sure wasn't. Then when the dresses came in SIX WEEKS later (I am serving in 2 other weddings this summer, they ordered the dresses from David's Bridal and I got the dress in 2 weeks), they never called 3 of my girls. When I asked why they hadn't done this, they said it's because the dress had their names on it with the style and the color "harvest gold" on it but that the dress wasn't "harvest gold" it was green. I told them, that's really good that the dress was green because that's the color they should have been ordered in. They couldn't connect "A" with "B" they were so dumb. They told my pregnant bridesmaid that they were mailing her the dress (3 weeks before the wedding) a week later she hadn't received the dress. So she called them and the dress was still hanging in the warehouse, so they sent it fedex to her! As if they had never done this business before. When I called to find out who ordered the dress, they would just tell me names (some ordered the dress, some didn't). The MOB ordered her MOB and MOG (my brother is getting married this summer) dresses and had them altered there... they screwed up her alterations for her MOG dress (thank God it was the later wedding and not the one for a week later). Needless to say, I wouldn't use this Alfred Angelo store. They have a hard time getting off their butts to do something right.

had some issues with the alterations, but they were done the right way on time. over all, good enough.

I loved my dress, and Alfred Angelo was the best shop that I went to, which I admit was not very many, but I was on a budget from Dad.My only real complaint is that they did not tell me anything about the Bustle, or that it had to be added later. I guess they assume you would know that, but how would I if this were my first wedding? We didn't realize that it did not have a bustle until I pulled it out of the bag to get it Steamed. It wouldn't have been that big of a deal, except I got married outside at Walt Disney World, and did quite a bit of walking outside, which resulted in a very dirty dress!

Not helpful at all! I do not recommend them to anyone.

My dress came in wrong size AND color then when they got it back the 2nd time it was right color but again wrong size and they "did not have time to order another one" And the floor model was "misplaced" so I couldn't just get that one and alter it. VERY UNHAPPY. Sales lady told me it could be taken out, so I took it to a seamstress and she said no way, I called the store and they said "sorry you just left the store with it there is nothing we can do!!!

LOVED my dress and it came very quickly. The consultants were always helpful and eager to assist in any way!

Alfred Angelo has beautiful dresses and a nice selection. I unfortunately I found "the dress" at this store. (note some of my bridesmaids used other Alfred Angelo stores and they were fine.) When I went in for my appt. my mom had driven 700 miles to go shopping with me, and they did not have my appt. on the books. So they threw me with this poor girl that was running around crazy. Then they told me my dress would be in and I took of from work the weekend after that to go down to houston to get get, it wasn't there. It came in the week after. I did finally get it the next week. Then they said they would call me when my vail and tierra came in well my sister was in the area and said hey call them and find out if it is in yet, so I did and they said they had been in for 8 days and they were going to send them back....but they had never called me. So my sister went to get it and stood at the counter for probably 5 mins. while three girls behind the counter talked about what they were doing that weekend. Then they were suppose to call three of my bridesmaids when their dresses came in and didn't. Like I told the manager if I could I would have had time I would have taken my dress back and gone somewhere else. I am usually pretty understanding with people that work in the public b/c I totally understand. I have worked retail the last 10 years and believe me I know what you go through but I also know what professionalism looks like too. The store at willowbrook does not cut it at all!!!!!

The dress was absolutely gorgeous but the service detestable. The lady my appointment was with didn't show, and I waited 2 hours to be fitted for alterations. The wanted to ruin the embroidered bodice by adding darts which I refused then showed me how they would make a bustle and sent it off. When it arrived they told me to come pick it up immediately or they would put it out on the rack, I explained I was in a different city and they explained that they only held them a short amount of time. My mother had to pick it up, and it had huge buttons sewn in obvious places in the middle of the dress, not even hidden in a seam, it was a mess, and wrinkled to boot, so we had to take it elsewhere to be fixed. They were very uncaring about the brides and the people employed there are less than motivated or knowledgeable. Luckily a local tailor fixed it and made it goreous again!

The dresses were beautiful and flattering, however the service was lacking. My bridal consultant Mary ignored us for about 30 minutes before attending to my party.

I loved my dress and it was a long search to find it, i actually ended up buying my dress at the bridal extravaganza, for almost $500 less than what they charge in the store for. MY suggestion for any bride find the dress you want and shop around, bridal shops will compete with each other, and some may even tell you where to get a better deal at. I went to alfred angelo and my sales women told me to go to the bridal extravaganza show where they would have a booth and buy it from there, i got a free veil and tiara of my choice just for buying at the show. All my bridesmaids got their dresses here, the only thing i say about that is if you know your a size 8, dont let them measure you and tell you to buy a 12 because they are wanting you to get it altered there when it comes in in 4 sizes to big. in that same breath, some of those dresses do run small so try on something they have on the rack that is comparable to the dress to see how big or small it runs. the invitations were great, and the people are all around easy to work with. We had mary and she was excellant!!

I first tried my dress on at a bridal show. I then tried to find it at the store and had a hard time... the sales agents were stumped also. I went to David's Bridal and found a few dresses that I liked and was interested in buying, but I gave Alfred Angelo another try. I went into the store and felt like I didn't get much attention, no where near the welcome I got at David's. I did end up finding the dress that I tried on previously and proceeded to try it on again. We decided to wait and buy it at another time... on a sale weekend. The rest worked out well, but when I had my bridesmaids order their dresses, they couldn't find my name in the computer. Also, they couldn't find the design I chose... and so on. It was a bit of a hassle for me and my bridesmaids. I don't know if I would, without a shadow of doubt, suggest this store, but I did end up ordering my bridesmaids dresses, like I said, and my invites from this store... both at an additional discount. So for budget wise... I did get exceptional quality for my money.
