Alisha + Brook Photographers

After Alisha and Brook were the photographers at my sister's wedding in the Bahamas three years ago, I knew that when my time came to get married there was no question in my mind as to who I would want to shoot my wedding. My husband and I got married this past October and sure enough, my dear friends, Alisha and Brook were there. I can't speak highly enough about how talented, passionate and brilliant they are at photography. I look forward to having them photograph more special moments in our future as our family grows!!!

Both my husband and I felt that Alisha and Brook did an absolutely amazing job capturing our wedding day. Our photographs are so amazingly stunning, they don't even look real!! One of the best things about our photographs is that they all provoke emotion and aren't "posed", they just look real and beautiful. I truly can't thank them enough for everything.

Alisha and Brook aren't really wedding photographers. They are gifted artists who happen to shoot weddings. In my case, the wedding had kind of a vintage theme which they captured perfectly in composition and photo effect. It was also very important to me that we weren't being constantly interrupted at the wedding to take photos. Still, they really captured the emotion between my husband and I on the day, and I still get little chills when I look at the pictures. Alisha and Brook were very easy to work with and they were total troopers in the 105 degree heat at our wedding. I would certainly hire them again for a special event.

My boyfriend at the time and I met Alisha and Brook in Puerto Vallarta a few years back. They were hired to photograph my best friend's wedding. I said to my friend, wow these guys must really be good or you're just super bridezilla to fly in your own photographers. Through all the week's events, Brook and Alisha always remained discreet in the background just quietly snapping shots. After hours, it was really cool that they hung out with everyone getting to know the wedding party. They remained professional the whole time, and yet were always so laid back. When my friend got her pictures back, I knew instantly why she went out of her way to have Alisha and Brook be her only photographers. Her photos were absolutely beautiful. Stuff that you would see in magazines. Instantly I knew, when we got married, I wanted them to photograph my wedding as well.

We got married over a year ago. Soon as we set a date, we immediately called Brook to set up a meeting. It was so easy to get everything going. They're so flexible, they'll work with whatever you have in mind. We wanted him to take our Engagement pictures, and he met us in Napa for the day where my husband proposed to me. He took awesome shots of us at places we went on our trip. For the wedding, we were fortunate enough to have both Alisha and Brook there. They were both there from start to finish. They made sure to take all the formal pictures I requested, and especially all the candid shots that I love. A few short weeks after the wedding, our pictures were already available to look at as well.

All our pictures turned out beautifully. We loved them so much we used the engagement pictures in our Save the Date postcards, and wedding pictures in our Thank You cards as keepsakes for our guests. We were fortunate enough to work with Brook and Alisha in two wedding events. Both times they came out with beautiful work. We hope that they'll always be available to photograph our family events as it grows over the years. Having them as your photographers is definitely an investment, but you only get one chance to capture the day. You could see the passion they put in their work, and you want to work with someone that does their job because they enjoy it, not because they have to. Going with Alisha and Brook, you know you'll always have beautiful lifetime keepsakes.

Alisha + Brook are the BEST photographers you can have to capture every special moments of your wedding day. They are absolutely artistic and wonderful to work with. We had an intimate destination wedding where Alisha and Brook were more like family then vendors taking our photographs. They create such a natural feel that translate beautifully into photographs that we will cherish for years to come.

I did have my moment of hesitation when it comes to cost but after researching highs and lows, I found myself comparing other photographers’ work, including Joe Buissink, to those of Alisha + Brook. No one can capture the emotion on photographs like Alisha + Brook can. Don’t let the best moments slip away by going with another photographer.

My husband and I had the honor of Alisha and Brook shooting our wedding in the Bahamas.  Not only was the quality of their work outstanding, but they were an absolute pleasure to work with.  Since our wedding they have also shot my dad's and my sister's weddings.  As with ours, their work exceeded all expectations.  Needless to say, we recommend them without qualification. 
 
That being said, I am happy to say that Alisha and Brook are not only talented professionals, but also good friends.  We have formed a close friendship and always enjoy seeing them.  It is not often that you find people who you enjoy being with as much as you enjoy working with them.  This quality sets them apart.  It also means that with all the potential stresses on your wedding day, you can count on your photos being an enjoyable part of the experience.  
 
I have seen so many photographers who take 15 of the same shot and likely spend hours editing those shots to give the Bride and Groom one good picture.  For Alisha and Brook it comes naturally.  They see it; they shoot it.  They have a unique talent of capturing love, joy, anticipation and emotional moments.  Their work is more art than photography.   Their style, simply stated is your style.
 
Every time they shoot, you can see the excited energy behind them; it definitely shows in their work.  This is the biggest thing that sets Brook and Alisha apart from so many other photographers out there.  With today's technology anyone can call themselves a photographer…the difference between them and Alisha and Brook is not just talent, but also a unique blend of trustworthiness, energy, and friendship.  

We held our wedding 'week' on an old Olive Farm Estate in Tuscany, Italy - just outside of Siena - and Brook and Alisha were with us the entire time. They were a true pleasure to work with during the wedding preparations, during the festivities, and post wedding celebration. The quality of their work and artistic eye resulted in stunning photographs that became the envy of our friends.
