Alison Feamster - Freelance Makeup Artist

Alison was great to work with! At my makeup trial, she made sure it was exactly what I envisioned. She was willing to add/remove as much as I wanted. On the day of, she traveled to us at 6am and she timed it perfectly to get all of the girls done in time and recreated what she did in the trial exactly how I wanted it. I did the airbrush since my wedding was in June and I was nervous I would be hot and sweaty. I never had to reapply any makeup all day. I had some powder, oil blotters, mascara, etc but never once had to use any of it. At the end of the night my makeup looked as fresh as ever. The eyelashes even stayed on throughout most of our honeymoon! Alison did a wonderful job!

Alison did a wonderful job on my makeup! She came to my hair stylist's salon and did a full makeup application (airbrush and false eyelashes). Alison did a trial run before the wedding in case we could make adjustments. I loved the final "product"--I looked like me, just more polished. As someone with skin on the oily side, I was thrilled that the makeup stayed on throughout the day and night and looked as fresh as it did when it was first applied. It was such a relief not to worry about how my makeup looked during such an important, busy day! I highly recommend Alison's work.

Alison did a wonderful job on my makeup for my wedding. She was so flexible with planning the trial run since I live out of town. I had airbrush done for my wedding day and not only did it look beautiful, it lasted through all the dancing. None of that awful melt! She did a fantastic job and I couldnt have been more pleased.

Working with Alison on my wedding day was a pleasure. She not only made us all look beautiful, but she was also kind, fun and easy to talk to. I had airbrush makeup and my bridesmaids had traditional makeup, but everyone looked beautiful from 10am when we started primping until midnight at the end of the wedding.

Alison did a wonderful job on my wedding makeup. She was on time (early actually), super nice, and really listens to you when you tell her what look you are going for. I would definitely recommend her to any of my friends.

I absolutely LOVED working with Alison. She was fabulous to work with throughout the ENTIRE wedding process. She responded very quickly to all of my emails, and always answered my questions fully even if it was an opinion of a nearby hotel, or our venue. She takes her job very seriously and you can tell she loves what she does. She is sweet, highly organized, flexible, punctual, friendly, and so much more. She even made a schedule for the timeline the day of. She was able to do my trial and a trial for my MOH and my FMIL. She also was able to schedule me for a second trial to try a different eye shadow because I changed my mind after the first trial. She did makeup for 6 bridesmaids, myself, and my FMIL the day of our wedding. She even covered my tattoo and it didn't smudge all night and the makeup didn't get on my dress. Everyone looked amazing! I would highly recommend her to anyone needing makeup done for any reason.

She did a great job for me on my wedding day and for all my bridesmaids, mother and mother-in-law. I felt truly beautiful.

Alison was AMAZING!!!! She was very sweet and professional. It was more like having a good friend do your makeup than a stranger. The trial was very educational for me as I don't wear much makeup on a normal basis. She answered all my questions and didn't make me feel silly for asking them. She traveled to me the day of my wedding and applied my makeup in the exact time she had given me. The makeup was amazing. The airbrush is a must for any bride!!! It lasted all day (12 hours), through a very hot outdoor ceremony, several tears, lots of hugs & kisses, and dancing like a maniac for 4 straight hours. Her pricing was the best I found anywhere in Columbus and the surounding area. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone and everyone!

Alison did an amazing job on the makeup for my wedding. She customized my look based on the trial and it looks fabulous in the photos. I didn't feel like I had tons of makeup on and she made me looks just like myself only better! Alison was very relaxed and made the process very relaxed and quickly. I'm hoping I can see her again next time I need my make up done.

Alison did an amazing job! Our wedding was outside in the summer heat and I felt like all of my bridesmaids and myself included looked just as good towards the end of the evening vs. when she left! Great service, easy to work with and she does an amazing job! I highly recommend her services!

Alison does an amazing job. I have had my makeup done by other people in the past and never has it looked this spectacular. She truly is a very gifted makeup artist. I liked the way she gave you many options of wether you wanted lashes or no lashes, regular makeup application or the airbrush. She doesn't make you look like someone else, she makes you look like yourself and highlights your best qualities. We did a test run in which she makes notes so that on the wedding day she isn't trying to remember what you liked and what you didn't like. She is punctual and made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend her to everyone. She is worth every penny!

Alison did a terrific job on everyone in my wedding party from the flower girl, to the bridesmaids, the mothers and myself! She did a traditional makeup application on everyone but myself, where she did the airbrush... and it is oh so light! What a amazing job and she was right on time and finished with time to spare after coming to my location to do it all!!!

I can not say enough great things about my experience working with Alison Feamster. I really wanted to find a traveling makeup artist who would be able to do makeup for myself and my bridal party for my November wedding...as soon as I met with her I knew that I had found the perfect person!! She and I met over the summer for a trial and she took the time to discuss with me the look I wanted to achieve and my expectations were far exceeded. I also have a birthmark on my face that I was worried about her covering...she made me extremely comfortable and was willing to go above and beyond until I was 100% happy with it. On the day of the wedding, she was fantastic! She was prompt and professional, kept all the girls moving so we could stay on schedule, and had a great time with us. Her quality of work is outstanding...she only uses products that she is confident in and has used herself. Likewise, she is great about giving you tips on how to improve your own makeup application in your everday wear. Myself, my mom and my bridesmaids all looked so gorgeous thanks to her...and our look lasted all day! I would recommend her to anyone and hope to use her again if I ever have another occasion to!

Her services are priced at a very reasonable rate. She was willing to do a second trial until it looked closer to the way I wanted it. My only slight dissapointment was that she did not seem to have the expertise (?) to be able to do professional model-level (more dramatic) makeup, which is what I had hoped/expected to receive.

Alison was a joy to work with! She is punctual, responsive, and very easy to communicate with. As a professional, she will listen to what your needs are and make suggestions as to what may suit you best. I would highly recommend her to anyone who asked, and have her on speed dial if I ever need her services again!

Alison was fantastic! I contacted her last minute to do makeup for me and for my bridesmaids. We scheduled my trial, and she was totally prepared when I got there. I loved that she sits down with the bride and talks about the style of wedding you are having as well as the way you want to look and feel on your wedding night. Alison even tried to schedule a bride on the same day to help her, which I thought was very nice (and no, it didn't interfere with our time at all!). The prices were good and everyone looked amazing! The kicker, however, was my insecure sister in law, who never ever wears makeup and had a lot of reservations about getting her makeup done. After Alison left, however, she was in the bathroom crying because she felt so pretty. I would recommend Alison to anyone I know, she was fantastic!

I would highly recommend Alison Feamster to any bride. I received several compliments on my makeup throughout the entire evening of my wedding. All five of my bridesmaids loved their makeup as well. She does an awesome job and is reasonably priced. She is very easy to work with and reliable.

Alison is a wonderful vendor to work with! Her professionalism along with the quality of her work really make for a wonderful experience. Alison did an AMAZING job providing makeup services for me and my mother on the day of the wedding! I looked like myself...only better, which is exactly what I wanted. And, she came to me while getting ready...I didn't have to leave my hotel room! Alison did my bridal makeup and also the makeup for my five bridesmaids. The airbrush makeup looked amazing and stayed on all day and night. She was extremely flexible - she allowed me to change my mind on my eyeshadow on the day-of, and she dealt with some particular picky bridesmaids. :) She was calm and patient throughout, and everyone was very impressed by her work.
