All Things Catered

I am a little late at posting my review but I have to make sure that I give credit to Dee Myers and her great team. My wedding took place on May 29, 2011 at the Glendale Lyceum. Dee handled all the food and supplied two bartenders. Dee was the best priced caterer I found and believe me I did my research. Upon meeting Dee at the tasting there were three reasons in which I decided to use her service. The food was good (I am picky), she seemed genuine and honest, and it was her business so I felt she would take pride and owner ship. During the planning process Dee handled some of my special request like Greek appetizers, food for the baby’s and to garnish each plate of cake with fruit and icing. All of these requests were fulfilled at the wedding and then some. The food at the wedding was great and the staff was very professional. I had an ice sculpture made into a martini bar. Everyone kept telling me how great the bartender was working the martini bar they said “he is hilarious and makes great drinks”. I bought silver chargers myself and placed them on the table ahead of time however; it never occurred to me what to do with them after dinner. My mother came over to me and said the wait staff is just going to remove all the chargers and place in the back for you later. Oh my Gosh how nice!Here is where Dee’s staff went above and beyond. I had decorated my entire hall myself because I am a control freak and because I am a control freak. Anyways, I had chair sashes, covers, table numbers, 3ft tall Manzanita trees, you name I had it! All of this had to be cleared form the tables that night. I looked over to see Dee’s assistant pulling chair sashes! “I said mom what is she doing” My mom said they are helping because, there are more of them and it will go faster. Before I knew it Dee’s team had everything cleared off. I think the fact that I had been up since 6am decorating my hall and the whole day was based on emotions but, when I saw them helping when their job was done I got a little emotional. Planning a wedding is hard and stressful and sometimes you feel moneyed to death it’s nice to know there are people who love what they do and I think you will get that with Dee.

I was SO PLEASED with Alicia, Dee and the whole staff at All Things Catered. The food was DELICIOUS and my guests absolutely loved it. Both Dee and Alicia were absolutely wonderful to work with and were so willing to make all aspects of the planning and actual wedding flawless. I just remember the day I went to the tasting while I was still in the decision making process and they blew everyone else I had visited out of the water--all I remember thinking the whole way home was that they were so impressive that there was no way they would be within our budget..boy, was I wrong! They were EXTREMELY affordable while at the same time hands down the tastiest and classiest caterer I met with. I worked very closely with Alicia and she was so responsive too all the questions I had along the way. Also, the day of the wedding, she offered to help us set tables up and drop linens--such a huge help. Not only that, but we had our reception at the Muhlhauser Barn, which has a huge fireplace. My mom made a beautiful display for on the mantel, which included huge hurricane vases with candles...not only did we ask Alicia and her staff to light millions of other candles, we also asked if there was any way they could light the candles on the mantel if we left the ladder for them. She agreed without hesitation and the place looked beautiful upon arrival. Everything went so smoothly and I can't express enough how impressed I was with the food, service and generosity of everyone at ATC. I HIGHLY recommend...you will be more than happy with them!!

I don't think I could have found a better choice as the caterer for my wedding. Dee and Alicia were truly wonderful to work with, they offered great ideas for my limited budget. They were able to work with the limited facilities our venue had and they couldn't have been nicer about it!

All Things Catered is a very tasty and very affordable catering option. The presentation and class of the staff are amazing and come highly recommended. They are willing to work with any budget and have many food options. The expereince working with this vendor has been very personal and genuine.

All Things Catered offered exceptional, well-presented and delicious food for our wedding reception. The food was amazing and everyone raved about it for days after the wedding. The staff was exceptionally friendly and very accomodating to our requests and budget needs. The buffet was well presented and the food options were endless. We highly recommend this vendor to anyone!

AMAZING SERVICE, AMAZING FOOD, GREAT PRICES, STAFF WAS WONDERFUL. My husband and I wanted to make sure our guests had a great time at the wedding and the one thing I would not want to happen would be them hate our food- I had more compliments on how amazing the food looked, tasted and how friendly the staff was. I can’t wait to have parties and have All things Catered cater them for me!!!

Exceptional. Professional. Creative. Those three words sum up my experience with All Things Catered. When planning our wedding(for 350 people) my husband and I knew that we wanted memorable, delicious food. We found that at All Things Catered. Dee Myers was prompt, detailed, and created a completely unique menu for our day, integrating my husband’s Polish background and my love of crab cakes and mashed potatoes. Our guests raved about the professional service, steaming hot food, and the delectable menu. Many guests went back to the food stations for seconds and thirds until all the food was gone. I was touched by the little details that were incorporated into the setup and design of the food stations. Dee and her staff continued our amethyst color scheme, hydrangea décor, and candlelight into their tablescapes. As a bride who paid close attention to detail, this thrilled me. I cannot say enough about this catering company. No corner was cut, all the food was made from scratch, the servers were happy to be of service, and Dee went beyond the call of duty in meeting my every whim on my wedding day while staying within my budget. p.s. All Things Catered even made and delivered (to the Mitchell's hair salon) a luncheon for the bridal party complete with drinks and dessert. They also picked up, delivered, and set up my wedding cake. Last but not least, when a vase full of water was broken during the reception set up-drenching a satin tabletopper and the cotton tablecloth beneath it- Dee and her staff took the linens back to their shop where they washed, dried, and ironed the linens.

The food was absolutley fabulous. We loved it. The night of the event the staff was great. I felt like a queen. But getting the event was horrible. They never call back or even email back when they say they will. It took us like 5 weeks to get a estimate of everything. I had to show up unaccounced to the business to get service.

All Things Catered made my wedding reception FABULOUS!!! Dee and her staff paid so much attention to detail and really made me feel like a queen. I would recommend them to anyone! We had so many problems, because I had to plan everything on my own, not being able to afford a wedding planner, Dee stepped in and helped me every step of the way, from the flowers to the food she was able to help me get exactly what I wanted, and kept everything within my budget! No need to look any farther! They are the best in town, hands down. My husband ate our wedding food for days after the wedding, it was that good !!

The food quality was fantastic for being a buffet. Many of the guest were amazed with how good it was. They offered a very nice variety to choose from for the meal. We didn't use them for the alcohol or the cake, but they were very professional and provided the bar tender and their waiting staff were great with the cake. Their location and organization might be questionable at the beginning but the quality of food for the price is worth it. It all came together perfectly the day of the event.

All Things Catered is my number one preferred vendor for catering. I think I have the upperhand with referring her since they were MY caterer at my wedding. Still to this day about 2 years after the wedding I hear about how amazing our pasta bar was. Not only the presentation that she does beautiful but the food is absolutely outstanding. Many of my brides have used her for their weddings and everyone is so pleased with the way everything turns out. All Things Catered will be there for all of my upcoming events- baby showers, bridal showers- and social gatherings.

All Things Catered is one of the top requested caterers at the Fairfield Community Arts Center. Dee Meyers and her staff are creative with their menu, elegant in their presentation, and professional in their dealings both with the client and with our venue staff. The menu from All Things Catered is always fresh and delicious and the service top notch, from the most intimate party to a large full-service wedding. When a client chooses All Things Catered, I know I can breath a sigh of relief that the event will be handled perfectly from start to finish.
