We were lucky enough to have AllStar DJ Anthony Arone at our New Years Wedding, and could not have been happier!! Thank you so much Anthony!! The ceremony was perfect, the dinner music choices were upbeat, but not overbearing just enough to keep everyone exited about what was about to happen. We LOVED the projector screen, from the family photos all the way to the Live audio and video feed of New Years Eve from Times Square, Everyone truly felt like they were part of a New Years wedding! Michael Edwards and his team provide a classy and professional service from beginning to end. I put an email in to Michael to get information because I had no where to start. He personally called me back instead of emailing me back and we talked for an hour about what i wanted in a dj and a wedding....before I even decided on what company. He waled me through the whole process. That was impressive from the start and then i met with my dj to see if he would be a good fit. I met with Joshua and we talked for almost 2 hours...again, before I even decided on using All Start. I decided that if they put this much time into me and my wedding before I even was paying them that I can only imagine the service I would receive when I did decide to go with them. They put me at ease (Im a bit of a control freak) and answered all of my questions whenever I had one throughout the whole year!

I had a New Years Eve wedding so it needed to be over the top! Joshua (dj) and Andrea (uplighting) did not disappoint. Andrea had never done lighting at the Millennium Hotel in Boston and it was an odd room and I wasn't sure if lighting was going to work. She assured me it would and found pictures and spoke with my wedding coordinator and advised I add more lights and I am so glad i did (got 20). I got so many compliments on the lighting and it by far made our wedding what it was! truly.

Joshua had the dance floor packed and did a new years eve countdown with confetti and also dealt with some unexpected toasts (that I approved) by my guests. He even changed the entrance song upon my request like two hours before the reception! He didn't just play music, he worked with all my vendors to make everything run smoothly. He was always making sure the bride and groom were happy as well.

The fact that the uplighting and music come in a package just made the planning that much easier. We wouldn't of been told "that was the best wedding i've ever been too" without All Star, Michael, Joshua and Andrea.

My husband and I hired AllStar Entertainment for DJ and uplighting services after some careful research in our wedding planning. The AllStar team was absolutley flawless. Our Dj, Todd DellaPorta, was professional, reliable, listened to our every wish, friendly on the mic, and kept EVERYONE on the dance floor all night. Knowing that the DJ you select can make or break your wedding, we were happy to see that we absolutley made the right decision. Outstanding! Our lighting technician, Andrea, was at our event all night to control lighting changes. The lighting changed beautifully according to the moment happening. Our wedding could not have been more prefect. My husband and I were totally at ease with these vendors. They walked us through every step of the preparation. Should we or any of our families need future DJ or uplighting services, Todd and Andrea from AllStar are our people. Many years of experience and expertise are apparent in the way this company runs it's business. I rate the AllStar team with 5 stars even though they actually deserve 10!

James DiNanno was our dj and he was excellent. I liked him from our 1st phone call and I knew my bride to be, Vanessa, was going to love him. He was very personable, kind of "sweet" is how my wife would describe him and a great listener. During our face-to-face meeting, he continued his great emphatic listening and reflection skills and made sure we were confident he could deliver a great experience for our guests.
His music library was spot on. It was rocking dance party all night. There was a birthday party in a nearby room and they wanted to crash our party because it was so bumping.

If I was to be constructively critical, I thought James played a couple of warm up songs that we hadn't discussed, that weren't necessary for our audience, and we had requested him play dance music in between courses / toasts, that was 1-2 songs too many. 1-2 songs lasting around 5 min would have been sufficient. I'll take some blame for not being more specific.

Michael Edwards was great and personable as an owner. This organization is super professional and worth the expense. You'll know from the moment you call and it will be reaffirmed during your face-to-face.

We were referred to All-Star b/c of Todd Dellaporta who did my friends wedding, but he was already booked for our date. He was awesome too.

All in all, I highly recommend them.

Michael Edwards is a DJ like no other. He has the experience you need in a great DJ - and he really cares!! We had a blast getting to know him, and having him MC or special day! He takes his job seriously, and that means we knew we didn't have to worry about a thing!
Andrea Duvall doesn't just provide UpLights - she is an artist! She bring a light show with her. Ending out night dancing under the stars was amazing! She highlights all the best parts of the room! People were blown away!

Want to know how good Josh from AllStar was? I flew him to San Francisco from Boston for my wedding. Josh has done over 15+ parties, weddings and other celebrations for my family and friends. We can't get enough of him.

I am pretty specific and picky when it comes to music. I'm always grabbing the mic, getting the crowd to sing a long and requesting the next song. I've had a vision in my head of how I wanted the music at my wedding reception to play out for about 5 years now. I was dead worried about getting any other DJ than Josh from AllStar. A lot of DJ's try to take over the show and make it about them. Not Josh. I gave him a list of about 120 songs segmented across the entire night. Him and I reviewed it several times. We both knew we couldnt play every single song I wanted but I had 100% trust in him.

Not once during the night did I have to go up and ask when my songs were going to come on or tell him to change anything. He had the dance floor packed the entire night. Honestly, there wasn't a person sitting down for over 3 hours. Every single person I spoke to in the coming months after the wedding said it was hands down the best dance floor they've ever been a part of. Josh was able to play music that everyone could enjoy - he never stuck on a certain segment too long. If he noticed some older people were dropping off after a few hit songs he would pull them right back in with some classics. It was honestly unreal. I wish I could relive the night again.

I am one of the most demanding people when it comes to music and he handled it like an absolute pro. I wouldn't have flown him out 3,000 miles if he wasn't! After my wedding all of my friends from Boston and the North Shore were requesting his info. I honestly can't think of ever having another DJ for any of my family events ever again.

My daughter and son-in-law were married on 10/9/11 at Willowbend Country Club in Mashpee, Ma. and Michael Edwards of Allstar Entertainment was their extraordinary DJ. From the 1st time we met with Mike, we felt confident that he was a professional who would bring his very best to the reception...and he did. As soon as the formalities were out of the way, the dance floor was at capacity for the rest of the night. He read the crowd with pinpoint precision and kept the momentum going for the whole evening. For our wedding we used DJ Brian McCarthy. He is unbelievable! He is very entertaining and knows how to get the crowd up and moving. We had children at our wedding and he did different things to keep them entertained as well. All my guest loved him.

We had DJ Michael Edwards and uplighting that was provided by Andrea Duvall. DJ Michael Edwards is awesome, he's truly a professional DJ and works very closely with you to go over all the details. He's also very good at reading the crowd to help keep them up on the dance floor all night long! We had so many compliments on how great he was and how awesome the music was. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a fun and professional DJ!
We also loved working with Andrea for the uplighting, she also works closely with you to personalize your wedding with colors and to set the tone for the different parts of the evening. She is really nice and professional. The uplighting really makes all the difference, it is a great enhancement well worth the money!

I chose to have Brian McCarthy from Allstar Entertainment as the DJ for my wedding and it was the best choice I could have made! He was absolutely amazing at creating the perfect atmosphere. Brian really got the crowd going, not only playing music but performing for the crowd as well. I also had a couple of rambunctious 6 year old girls at the wedding and Brian was so great with them. He let them get on stage and perform a Taylor Swift song! He even gave my niece the microphone to use! Everyone thought it was great - out of tune, but great :-)

I highly recommend Brian McCarthy because he is not simply a DJ. He is truly an entertainer. Brian knows how to have a good time and he knows how to make a bride happy. My husband and I got so many compliments at our wedding and after, everyone saying how much they loved our DJ. In fact, I know of several people that now want to hire him for their events! A bad DJ can ruin a wedding. A great DJ can make it unforgettable. Brian was worth every penny!! Our wedding was amazing and we have Brian to thank for that.

We booked Brian McCarthy for our wedding this past September. He was FANTASTIC! Our guests were entertained and danced the entire night! Allstar Entertainment, Michael Edwards was the DJ at our wedding last Month and did an amazing job. As all the reviews that I read before I decided on using them said, they got everyone on the dance floor and it was very true. My 86 grandmother even was dancing and had a blast. They really know how to read a crowd and keep the party going. We even had a few games that were introduced to us that night by the DJ and the crowd loved them as did we. All Star DJ and SPECIFICALLY Josh Wiseman as the DJ and Andrea as the uplighting coordinator blew me away! I won a contest and had the task of planning the entire wedding in 3 weeks without my fiancees help. I literally had to plan everything! The entertainment was really important to us so I looked for the best and I found it! Josh and I only talked a couple times before the wedding because I had so much going on but that's all he needed. The music was exactly as I had asked for the ceremony, the intros into the reception were awesome, and the reception itself was a blast. Josh did a great job keeping the party going when needed and having great background music when needed as well. My wife, along with many guests, commented on what a fantastic job he did. And the place looked awesome thanks to Andrea! Mike, the owner was a pleasure to deal with too and you can see the passion he has for what he does. Weekend warrior dj's are ok, but I promise you that they can't compare to guys like Josh and All Star DJ. If you can book them for your wedding or any other party, do it!

We had a fantastic experience with AllStar Entertainment. Choosing Peter Healey as our DJ was one of the best decisions we made. Peter was professional and so easy to work with. He did an INCREDIBLE job of keeping all our friends and family on the dance floor. There was never a lull on the dance floor, and we've had numerous guests comment on how much fun our wedding was because the music was so great.

Peter got everyone around the dance floor prior to us being announced, and after our first dance we had a 20 minute dance set which I think set the tone for the evening. People were enthusiastic, happy and that energy just carried throughout the entire night.

Peter is a true expert. He is willing to do what YOU want. We gave him a sampling of music that we liked and he went off of that. As I said, he made our wedding so much fun. I would hire him again in a second. If you want an enthusiastic DJ that will make your day exactly as you want it, then hire Peter Healey.

We absolutely LOVED Brian McCarthy!!! He DJ'd my sister's wedding 10 years ago, so when I got engaged he was one of the first people I booked! From the moment we were introduced at the reception he had the guest going! The dance floor was hopping ALL night long! People keep contacting me asking "who was that DJ?!?", and as one of my family members said "this was the best wedding I've been to in 10 years!!" (since the last Brian McCarthy wedding). Love, LOve, LOVE Brian!! Amazing job, sooooo much fun!! I cannot recommend him highly enough!!

I knew we made the right decision when choosing AllStar for our DJ and Uplighting! We had one request for our DJ Brian McCarthy, keep the party going! And that is just what he did! Our guests were dancing, singing and having a ball all night!!! He knew what to play for the oldies, and had a great balance for all of our younger guests! AllStar Uplighting did a wonderful job!! The venue looked amazing, and our pictures from the reception look so much more beautiful with the soft lighting. The technician (Michael) was extremely nice, and was completely unobtrusive. Andrea was very responsive, and was a pleasure to work with - she even met me at the venue to plan out the lighting. Not every company was willing to do this, but since she was, I chose AllStar. I'm very happy I did!

I recently just had a wedding for my daughter in whom we used All Star Entertainment for both DJ and uplighting. I can honestly say that both the DJ and uplighting made the event. The DJ was able to read the crowd and got everyone dancing. He was so involved with the entire reception that everyone noticed his expertise. The DJ Michael Edwards was professional, enthusiastic, and caring to the brides needs. When I first walked into the venue I immediately noticed how the uplighting changed the entire venue. The uplighting was interchangeable in which at the end of dinner where everyone was dancing the lights changed based on the mood. We found All Star entertainment through a web search and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Having to plan a wedding 1500 miles away was not easy, but Josh was there through it all. The planning process and the execution were perfect! We were asked what we wanted and got exactly that and more!! Josh not only did the music at the reception but also the ceremony! If you’re looking to have a great reception you need: great entertainment. Honestly, don’t look any Further then ALL STAR Entertainment. They provide you with amazing value for the money you pay (which isn’t overpriced compared to other DJ companies in the area!) professionalism, DJ’s who can actually read the crowd and enjoy what they do.
I first met with Mike in June of 2010, a year prior to our wedding. My husband was on the West Coast (as he is in the Navy) and I went to our consultation with my mom. Never in my life have I ever met a man who is so PROFESSIONAL, knows what he is doing and is genuinely excited and THRILLED to be doing what he does. He probably does 2-3 events (maybe even more!) a weekend, 52 weeks a year and he never gets tired, and can read a crowd immediately. I felt so comfortable with him right off the bat and knew he would be perfect for our wedding.
My now husband and I met with Mike about a week before our wedding. We are HUGE Boston Bruins fans and knowing that they had just won the Stanley Cup (Go B’s!!!!) We came with the idea to have our entrance song as the Bruins goal score song (Fog Horn/Zombie Nation) Mike was just as excited as we were to put together his own remix to this song for us (since you cannot actually get it on the internet!) Together we made a plan, and instead of giving Mike the songs we only wanted to hear—we trusted him to help set the mood of our wedding himself. He went ABOVE and BEYOND in doing this. We danced throughout the whole night, never ever stopping. Everyone was out on the dance floor—even our 80 year old grandmothers, aunts and uncles. The reception was amazing and you can thank Mike Edwards for playing a large role in this.
Mike, we really cannot thank you enough for all of the help and amazing entertainment you provided on July 2, 2011. I recommend you to everyone I know getting married because you truly are the best . I planned my wedding from long distance and had to choose all my vendors from 2,000mi away. I spoke with countless DJ's and kept feeling like they were pushing too hard, overselling too much and more interesting in making a dollar, rather than listening to our needs. I was near the end of my patience and ready to set up an ipod dock in lieu of a DJ when I contacted AllStar Entertainment on a recommendation from another wedding vendor. Michael Edwards was professional, helpful and went out of his way to make sure that we could work within our specific budget and have all our needs met. Our DJ was Nick Powers, who really pulled off a fun, lively reception and listened to all of our specific and sometimes quirky requests. When his contract time was up, we liked him so much, we had him stay overtime to keep the party going. Thank you to AllStar, Mike and Nick for making our wedding such a success.

We had the pleasure of working with AllStar Entertainment and, specifically, Peter Healey as our DJ. Peter provided music for our ceremony and also for our reception. From our first contact with Mike Edwards several months before the wedding all the way through our initial meeting with Peter and throughout the wedding day everything was perfect. I do not use that word loosely but I will use it with Peter and AllStar Entertainment. Peter told us that he would have everybody on the dance floor and having a great time for the entire evening. While I never doubted his experience or credentials, I will admit that I doubted any DJ's ability to do that. I was wrong. Quite literally, from the first dance at 5:30 until the last song at 11:30 Peter had people on the dance floor and having a great time. Without exception, every guest commented on what a great time they had and Peter was the Master of Ceremonies. A superb job done by a true professional.

We also engaged AllStar Entertainment for a video/photo booth at the reception. The attending staff was equally professional and added a great dimension to the reception by compiling a great collection of photos and videos made by our guests.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Peter Healey and AllStar Entertainment for your wedding (or any other event, for that matte). They are real professionals who know what they are doing. Their experience and skill make all the difference and were a huge ingredient in making our wedding a tremendous success.

I was COMPLETELY blown away by this company! I was lucky enough to have Michael Edwards be my DJ and Andrea Duvall take care of the beautiful uplights at my late June wedding in the daytime.

Honestly, dont think just because your wedding is during the day you cant have the uplightling. Andrea did a fantastic job making it work! I literally cried when I saw how beautiful my space was! Color makes the difference people!!! LOL

Next, there is the ever fun, wonderful Mr. Michael Edwards.. Let me just tell you that my son is autistic. Hes 7 years old and quite the character lol. Michael called me the Monday before my wedding and I had to tell him that my son has a fascination with microphones. Do you know he was nice enough to bring a mini microphone (obviously it wasnt hooked up) to let my son "play with". You will NOT find better service than that of someone who listens and cares about not only you but your family! That was just part of all the wonderful things he did. He also reminded the silly bride who forgot how to do the electric slide how the steps go. LOL Also taught me & my guests the Wild Wild West dance. Im a country girl can you tell. One more thing..guys dont screw up the trivia test ;)

I truly believe this was my smartest investment in our wedding. I love you guys and I highly recommend every bride hire you!!

Josh Wiseman was amazing. He met with us twice before the wedding to get an idea of exactly what we were looking for. The Ceremony was perfect and the reception was exactly what we hoped for. Sound quality was perfect throughout and he rocked the party all night long. Really appreciate the fact he took the time and consideration to do just what we wanted, and as far as we are concerned he nailed it. From start to finish the allstar team was a pleasure to work with. They were very easy to get in touch with, very informative, and helpful in all aspects of wedding planning. Our DJ, Jame DiNanno was simply amazing. I can't say enough good things about him. We provided with him some basic guidelines, but really just let him roll with it. James got people of all ages up and dancing and had the floor packed all night. Weeks after people were still talking about how much fun they had at our wedding! So a HUGE thanks to James for doing such a great job and if your looking for a DJ we would highly recommend him.

Mike Edwards was phenomenal. He had guests of all ages on the dance floor for the entire night. His collection of music seemed endless. He was always quick to respond when I had questions about something and always gave me very valuable and honest feedback. His professionalism is impeccable and I would recommend him for all types of events. I received so many compliments from my guests about how awesome he was. He played every single song I had asked him to play.

The uplighting staff ( Especially Andrea Duvall) is outstanding as well. They definitely know how to add that magic to the reception room. Andrea was very attentive to me the day of the wedding (i.e.: holding my bouquet for me during my first dance and offering to get anything i needed during the reception). She definitely went above and beyond!

If I were to rate All Star Entertainment and Uplighting from 1 to 10 ( 1 being horrible and 10 being the best), I give them a 15. All Star Entertainment and Uplighting, THANK YOU for making my wedding day AMAZING!!!

AllStar Uplighting provided the uplighting and GOBO for my wedding. This company is truly AMAZING!! I contacted them pretty close to my wedding date and they were able to accomodate everything I needed. I had the image for my GOBO already designed and they went above and beyond to make it work. It looked absolutely amazing on the dancefloor. Thank youl!! The lighting technician Andrea made the ballroom look beautiful. She stayed the entire night, changed the color of the lighting at various times, and even helped out wherever and with anything the night of the wedding. She was the best!! People are still commenting on how awesome the ballroom looked! Michael and Andrea were a true pleasure to work with and I have already and will continue to recommend them! Thank you!

Peter met with us a few weeks before our wedding to get to know us and get an idea of what kind of music we were looking for. He really made us feel that we could relax and leave it to him manage the flow of events at the reception.
We indicated what songs we wanted for certain moments, but Peter did a great job choosing the dance music. Once he got the guests on the floor he kept them there. He also provided music for the cocktail hour that was audible but unobtrusive.
As promised, Peter kept the reception flowing smoothly, even when things didn't go exactly as planned (e.g. many more speeches than expected).
We and our guests were very impressed with Peter and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

I was extremely happy with the service Micheal Edward and his staff had given at my Wedding. He had all of my guests dancing the whole reception and they still tell me they had the best time. He made my wedding day such a wonderful and memorable one. Worth every penny.

Michael was extremely professional from start to finish and we both felt very comfortable and well-supported throughout our entire experience. With years of experience behind him and with great personality, Michael is an all-star wedding DJ!

We worked with Andrea Duvall at AllStar Entertainment & Uplighting for our May 14th wedding. Originally, we had no intention of hiring an uplighting vendor, my then fiance was really pushing for it.

After researching several vendors, we learned that Allstar uses only LED wireless uplighting units - this is really important as you don't want your reception room to overheat, or for guests to be tripping over thousands of wires.

We were absolutely thrilled with Andrea and her service. She worked closely with me to discuss our wedding colors and preferences - and she's a true artist. When we walked into our reception room, we couldn't believe the transformation. As the night went on, we experienced subtle classy changes in the lighting at critical points of the reception - i.e., our first dance, the father/daughter dance, and the cake cutting. Also, when the energy on the dance floor would heat up, so did our lights. It was so much fun.

Andrea also went over and above our expectations - she had a few extra uplights in her vehicle, so she included them at no extra charge. And she also took many photos of our reception and uploaded them to facebook the next day - this was how we got to see our first wedding photos.

I would highly recomend AllStar. Their rates were very competitive, and Andrea was just a joy to work with. She was truly someone you could envision grabbing a drink with after the big day! Plus, I wasn't a believer before our wedding, but the uplights make a tremendous impact on your photographers - definately a vendor to consider. If only we could find a way to incorporate uplights in our backyard too!

All Star Entertainment (specifically Michael Edwards) did an AMAZING job DJ'ing our wedding! Michael was very professional, organized, knowledgeable and flexible. We didn't give him a laundry list of songs to play... we told him a lot about the guests and their likely preferences, a few of our preferences, and set a few rules (e.g. specific songs to not play) and that was it. Peter took care of the rest flawlessly and let us focus on and enjoy our big day without a worry. Although there are less expensive DJs, you take the risk that the experience they provide on your important day will not be as good as you hoped. Peter was absolutely top notch and well worth it for the experience provided on our big day.

We used AllStar Entertainment for our DJ and up lighting and they were amazing to deal with! Our DJ Brian McCarthy was fantastic. We told him exactly what we wanted and what we didn't, and he followed it to a tee! He started the night on a high note and kept it going all night. He had the dance floor packed from start to finish. So many of our guest commented on how great Brian was and how they have never seen a dance floor so crowded at a wedding before. From the up lighting to the music AllStar Entertainment made our wedding absolutely perfect. I'd give them higher than a 5 if it were allowed!!

Michael of AllStar Entertainment and Uplighting was simply brilliant as our wedding DJ! He was very supportive of our music choices and always had great ideas/suggestions when we were unsure what sort of music to use. He conducted the ceremony music perfectly, as well as the dinner/dancing music. He was so great at reading the crowd and keeping the dance floor full! He also had a great rapport with the venue staff, which helped everything run even more smoothly. There were no problems at all with the music he played (skipping, audio hits, etc), all of it was professional quality. He even was able to find music that we wanted that was not mainstream. We hired AllStar Entertainment for my daughter’s wedding on April 17, 2011 for both DJ services as well as lighting. I can't say enough about the expertise and professionalism of Michael Edwards. The ceremony music was beautiful. During the reception, he truly made the party. We received so many positive comments both during the reception and days after the wedding about our DJ (Michael Edwards). The dance floor was full all night and no one left early; a true sign of a great reception. The lighting under the tables was beautiful. He did so many little extras that were so entertaining; he is certainly a Master of Ceremonies and I would recommend him to everyone planning any type of event!

We were married on February 5, 2011 and hired Michael Edwards as our DJ for our wedding. Not only was Michael professional, he has a great sense of humor. He was very easy to work with. When our night came, I knew right off the bat we made the right decision for a DJ. There are a lot of DJ's out there and I have to say that Michael was the best DJ I have ever heard. I used DJ Josh Wiseman for my New Year's Eve wedding and I was so pleased. He is very detail oriented, reviews everything with you to make sure he has it write and what a good time this kid is! He dresses great - very professional attitude and appearence. He's got a great personality and knows when the whole vocal DJ thing is needed and when it isn't. If you have a crowd that doesn't need to be coaxed onto the dancefloor, then he'll just lay low and play some great music, but if your guests need some encouragement, he has some funny, creative ways of making it happen, without them even knowing it. Josh is very attentive and has an awesome array of music. Couples need not worry when in his care. I'd recommend him to anyone!

Michael was fabulous! He is so smart & knew exactly how to handle everything. I could not have asked for anything better when it came to the music. He impressed everyone there & I received many compliments on his services. Danny gave us EXACTLY what we were looking for on our wedding day. An AWESOME time for us and our guests!! As soon as dinner was done (this was the timing we requested) BAM, he got everyone up and going and it did-not-stop the entire night. Not one person left on the early shuttle back to the hotel. Danny spoke with us throughout the planning process right up until the week of the make sure he knew exactly what we were looking for and what our expectations were. Something I loved was his attention to detail. Quick example- he made sure he was saying all the names correctly before intros- how many times have you heard the names destroyed? He was always completely aware of what was going on/ when and where the important folks were at all times. When Danny says he is all about making your day perfect and special, he means it. As a surprise to my now husband and I, Danny set up an awesome lighting effect for our last dance. It gave the illusion of little stars all over the places so we were "dancing under the stars"- made awesome pictures! The variety in music was perfect and he did a great job managing our "must, do not and try" to play lists. He did a great job MCing the event, keeping the night on time, moving and FUN! I think it's also important to mention when reviewing a DJ that Danny is NOT cheesy. This was my biggest fear when selecting a DJ and now I know 100% we made the right decision. :) I called Danny in a panic a week before our wedding when we heard one of our closest relatives couldn't attend. We had originally skipped getting a videographer because of budget but now needed one! Danny had a videographer calling me within hours. I worked with Danny as an out of state bride (no easy task.) He got back to me almost immediately with any questions I had, was flexible with setting up calls and always made time in his schedule to meet with us when we were in the area. He is just absolutely awesome in every way. Danny is professional, cares about you, your day, he is extremely experienced not only in DJing but in the sound industry, his goal is to get EVERYONE moving at your wedding and I mean everyone... and he succeeds. Our wedding sounded great, looked great and felt great and Danny was a HUGE part of that. We would absolutely recommend him and AllStar to anyone knowing full well they can work with whatever your needs are.

Micheal Edwards was the DJ for my wedding at Lake Pearl Luciano's (October 2010) and he was fantastic! Not only was he always available to answer any questions I had before the wedding, but he made my event a true success. He played games with our guests that really got people excited and involved. He was also able to keep a large crowd on the dance floor. Our guests are still saying, "your DJ was awesome!".

5 stars does not even come close as to how great our DJ Mike Edwards was. I had sent out a mass email to DJ's requesting our date, and Mike was the ONLY one who called me and setup a meeting. Within 20 minutes of our initial meeting, my husband and I knew we HAD to have Mike. We really enjoyed talking with him, and he got to know us as a couple. We hired him on the spot, and it was the easiest decision of the entire process. I must have emailed Mike a hundred times, and he always responded quickly and with the answer I was looking for. During our final meeting before the wedding, he gave us awesome ideas that ended up being some of the highlights of the entire night. What made Mike special from the get-go was that you knew he really cared about our day and wanted to make it memorable for everyone there. During the entire night, everyone I talked to told me what a great DJ we had and that he made the entire party a hit - people still ask me where I found Mike to this day! Mike is absolutely fantastic and a great guy, both at his job and is just a great guy. My husband and I love him and can't thank him enough for making our day so wonderful! :)

AllStar Entertainment is the only call you need to make for DJ services for your wedding. Owner Michael Edwards DJ'd a friend's wedding 2 years ago and was fantastic so we wanted him for ours. Unfortunately, he was booked so he referred us to Brian McCarthy, one of his most seasoned DJ's. All I can say is.. Wow!!! Everyone from the wedding is still talking about Brian! He kept the energy high and the floor packed all night! A true entertainer! Just the right mix of elegance when appropriate & insanity to get the crowd going! He was worth every penny & then some!!

We used DJ James DiNanno for our wedding and he was fantastic! It was one big party from beginning to end and James did a great job getting everyone excited and up on the dance floor. His music selection was excellent and he knew exactly what to do and say to get people pumped up and ready to party. We didn’t have a wedding coordinator at our reception so having James there to help with the timing of the announcements, dances, cake cutting, etc… was very important to us, and he was right on top of that all night.

So many of our guests raved about how good the DJ was and we would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ.

We really enjoyed working with Brian McCarthy. He understood our tastes in music and the atmosphere we were going with. We had lots of children at the wedding, and he did lots of fun dances for them, which was really fun. He was pretty crazy on the dance floor, and definitely entertaining. Lots of people enjoyed the handkerchief game that he had us play. He also did a great job handling our the venue staff which tried to get him to lower the music earlier than we had agreed upon when selecting the venue.

Michael Edwards & AllStar Entertainment was the best vendor we booked for our September 5th 2010 wedding.
We met Michael in 2009 and immediately felt that he had a vested interest in supplying our 'type' of music for our wedding. He was attentive, had great ideas, and made such an impression. He was already drawing up a playlist from our conversation and we hadn't even booked with him!
The one other DJ we met with did not 'wow' us at all. It was a second job to him, it seemed like he just showed up and hit play of the same list he did for every wedding!
After that meeting we knew that Michael was the best choice to DJ our wedding.
My family LOVES to dance and he just did an amazing job with music that I don't think that the dance floor was empty all night.

DJ: Greg Ryan

My wedding was the 20th wedding that I've attended. Since I come from a large family, a lot of my guests (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) have also attended as many weddings, if not more, and many of them have told me that my DJ, Greg Ryan (Gervais) was the absolute BEST they have ever come across.

When my husband and I met with Greg before the wedding, we asked that he play down some wedding customs (games, centerpiece prizes, line dances, etc.). I'm sure no DJ wants to hear that because sometimes guests need a little encouragement to get up and dance, but Greg had everyone out of their seats and dancing, no problem. Our guests ranged in age from young to old, and Greg had everyone dancing from the beginning of the night through the end. He played music that everyone could appreciate and dance to, and he accommodated all of our guests' requests. Some were still dancing as the venue turned on the main lights!

Greg was very professional and he worked really well with the photographers and venue staff. The venue coordinator even mentioned that Greg was the best DJ he'd ever worked with. Lesser DJs can be very rigid and they care only about reading off the names, playing their music and getting out of there. But Greg was happy to be at our wedding, and it was obvious to me that he truly cared about showing us a wonderful time at our wedding reception. You can't put a price tag on that.

Even months after the wedding, so many of our guests are asking for Greg's contact information, and I'm happy to recommend him. Thanks so much, Greg, for a perfect wedding reception!

Can't comment on uplighting as we did not use that. We went with Allstar Entertainment for a DJ for our wedding. We were so lucky to wind up with Peter Healey. Peter was AMAZING. He met with us in advance of the event to make sure he understood us as a couple, our style, and what we were looking for in reception music. He was available via email, phonecall, or text, and continuously encouraged calling anytime of day or night about the wedding music. I was texting Pete songs up until hours before the wedding, and he still had them incorporated. As promised, he had the entire crowd dancing throughout dinner -- all generations on the dance floor at once. It was so perfect I cannot describe. Going into it I was most nervous about a DJ since it's the one thing you can't REALLY test in advance (you can try the food, taste the cake, preview photos, see flower samples), a DJ is a little bit of a wild card. I'm so glad we put our trust in Peter and AllStar Entertainment. They significantly more than exceeded our expectations in every single way. Best yet, their big competitor was charging 40% more, what a joke! More expensive does not always mean better. We thought the more expensive DJ would so much tackier. Turns out we were right.

We used Michael Edwards himself for the wedding (music only; no uplighting). He was a total professional from the first communication through the end of the wedding reception. He quickly sent an informational package to us, allowed us to pay by credit card, called us with updates, and met with us in person to discuss our ideas for the wedding day.

He encouraged us to trust in his expertise, and we were pleased with how well he gauged the crowd that evening. We had a very small list of requests and "do-not-plays". Otherwise, we didn't make many demands. Many of our guests commented on how great he was as a DJ.

During dinner, he kept the volume at a level where people could enjoy the music but still easily chat with friends. He made clear announcements when certain events were coming up, and he selected dance music appropriate for all age groups at the reception.

Michael had helpful suggestions to make the reception flow smoothly, but he wasn't pushy with his opinions. He listened to our input and tailored his program based on our discussions. Although his fees are higher than other DJs, we were very pleased with his services, and we would highly recommend him to others.

Nick Powers did an excellent job - he met with us ahead of time, kept in touch by phone and email, and provided excellent service.

Peter Healey was an incredible DJ!!! He had the dance floor packed all night, we could not have asked for anything better!!

Leading up to the wedding Mike was more the helpful with any questions that we had or to offer advice to help make our day go smoothly. I checked off that Michael provided "Unique Services" for us, and that's because he did!! Michael confessed to us that in the years he's been working as a DJ, he had never met with a couple who had more musical requests than we did! I admit, we did put him to work for us, but really my husband and I couldn't have been happier with the hard work and special attention to detail that Michael put into creating the soundtrack for what was the most wonderful day of our life!

DJ Mike Edwards was fabulous - fun, highly skilled, professional, and extremely friendly. My guests loved him! My brother told me he wishes Mike had been the DJ at his wedding. Brian McCarthy was absolutely amazing. He had everyone laughing and dancing all night long. Everyone said this was the most fun, energized, entertaining, and memorable reception that they have ever been to. He had a vast music selection for all ages. Josh Wiseman lived up to and exceeded every expectation for our wedding, which was in early June 2010. He was very available, and both Josh and Michael Edwards were easy to work with and attentive to our needs. My wife loved working with him! He met us at our reception venue, explored many options with us, and had lots of great ideas for the reception. Our guests had a total blast the whole night, and almost all of them stayed right to the end! He had everyone on their feet and many of our guests after told us that it was the best wedding they had been to in a long time. Josh has a real talent for judging the crowd and making it entertaining for everyone, while adding touches of class and fun. He definitely has a lot of experience and is great at what he does. Bottom line: very satisfied!

Our function hall took 3.5 hours to get through dinner, which would have been a nightmare if Michael Edwards hadn't had so many fun games and ways of breaking up the night. Even with dancing starting at 9:30 at night he had most of the room on the dance floor, everyone raving about how fun it was and how good the dj was; but most shocking was that my husband's 90 yr old grandfather and great aunts and uncles stayed until the end (11:30p), as well as all my younger family and friends. To be able to keep so many generations entertained at once is the kind of talent that makes Michael Edwards worth every penny!

The reason we hired Michael was because I remembered him from my friend's wedding back in 1997--he was "that good" so I KNEW we had to have him for our wedding if I could find him. Thankfully that '97 bride remembered. We had one consultation with Michael last summer and knew he was "the one" for us! We left that meeting learning so much more about our big day than we could have imagined.

The wedding ceremony was outside, and Michael provided the music. It was beautiful. He worked with the event coordinator, Reverend and photographer to make sure everything was in order and that everyone was in sync. The ceremony was perfect.

On to the fun!! I don't remember a wedding where the guests were 100% engaged and getting into party mode one song in--we are so proud to say that from the start, ours was a wedding not only we were loving but it was very apparent our family and friends felt the same way. The music was phenomenal, Michael had the crowd engaged immediately and the dance floor was PACKED from start to finish. At one point (trying to savor the moment of such a fast paced amazing day) I looked around the dance floor and could not see anyone at their seats -- they were ALL on the dance floor (even the people you usually see looking at their watches!!)

Michael was the ultimate professional while keeping the spirit of the day one of love, happiness and fun. We've heard from so many guests (both during the reception and after) that ours was the best wedding they'd ever been to, and Michael Edwards had a very pivotal role in making our wedding day nothing short of perfect. My husband and I got married May 22 2010 and had Michael Edwards as our DJ from ALLSTAR Entertainment. We also had ceremony music provided by all star musicians (the flute and guitar duo) We could not be happier with the services provided. He knew how to get everyone on the dance floor and played a key role in making our reception FUN! Many of our guests commented on how amazing he was. I feel so lucky to have found Allstar! Michael, the owner introduced us to James who was our DJ and just fantastic!!!! We could not have asked for better. He was responsive and kept the crowd going the whole night. He was right on cue with everything even when my husbands friends sprung a last minute song they had written for us. I would say ask for James when you go and don't look any further. This is the place to go. Very organized, mature and easy to work with which is what you want on your wedding day. Michael Edwards was THE BEST. He had everyone on the dance floor for the entire night. He was entertaining without using any of the typical cheesy tactics. It's 2 weeks after our wedding...and we still have people calling to say what an amazing time they had and specifically how great the DJ was. I know I will see Michael again at a family member or friends wedding...and we are already looking forward to it!!

Peter Healy was by far one of our favorite vendors! Peter provided our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music and we couldn't be more thrilled with him! During the planning of our wedding, Peter was very responsive and accomodating, even when I decided the day before to change many of my song selections. Many members of our bridal party had names with difficult pronounciations and Peter nailed every single name during our introductions! Our dance floor was packed the entire night. Many of our guests commented that they had never been to a wedding with so many people on the dance floor. Peter was very enthusiatic and full of energy and I would highly recommend Peter to anyone looking for a dj!

My husband and I searched high and low to search for the right DJ for our wedding. We were so relieved when we called Michael Edwards from AllStar Entertainment. After the first phone call I knew he was the DJ for us. The energy that surrounds him is incredible, and he is extremely professional. I was impressed with how available he was to meet with us and go over every event detail. He made many suggestions and made the planning so easy. He really listened to us and what we wanted, while throwing in suggestions from past events to make the night run even more smoothly. He even accommodated my cousin playing background music during the cocktail hour.
The energy in the reception room on our wedding night was incredible, and just when we thought it couldn’t get any better he ramped up the pace and gave us a “finale” that we will NEVER forget. He got everybody out of their chairs dancing with my husband and I. And at the end of the night, he made it easy for us to say our good-byes to all of our guests in an organized timely fashion. I am not a dancer (I think this was the first time I have danced since my high school prom) and believe me when I say I DID NOT leave the dance floor all night! (And I have a video to prove it!!) The whole experience working with AllStar was incredible from the beginning. Michael Edwards is easy to contact and work with. He is also very good at communicating information. Brian McCarthy was our DJ for the event. He was FABULOUS!!! He worked from the minute the reception started and did not let up until the night was over.
