Wendy Bowman, 727-459-5163, is the most talented seamstress! She was my seamstress at Honey Pot Bridal & Tux but also has her own business, Alterations by Wendy, 727-459-5163 out of her home in Clearwater, FL. She charges a fraction of the cost of David's Bridal and other shops, for hems, bustle points and all other alterations. She is very attentive and listened to exactly what I wanted. She hemmed my dress which was difficult since it had beading the entire way around. The dress had a very long train, so it required 13 bustle points on the outside and 5 on the lining. She saved me over 65% in costs over estimates from other shops!! Her schedule is flexible and was very accessible by phone. Hire this amazing lady!! She's so talented at her craft!! I've since returned to her for other alterations on everyday clothes. I'd recommend her to anyone!
Wendy altered my bridesmaid dress for a wedding that I was in. She did a great job, and it fit really well.
I just went for my first fitting for my bridal gown, and she was very professional and spent a lot of time making sure that the hem on the multiple layers of chiffon would be good. I haven't gotten my dress back yet, but I have confidence in her work and would recommend her.
