We can't say enough about how much we loved having Alyssa as our wedding photographer! She is amazingly talented and captured the beauty, love and happiness of our day. I expected great wedding pictures based on what I had heard about Alyssa....I was blown away when I saw our wedding photos...she exceeded our expectations! She is THE best and I am thrilled we choose her and now have perfect wedding photos to treasure for the rest of our lives. To top it of she has an awesome personality and is really fun to work with.

Alyssa provided great photography to our wedding. She was personal and easy to work with. One thing about Alyssa's photo packages are that she allows you to keep a disc of the photos from your wedding. In today's society, with copyrights and licensing authorities, this was a great bonus in working with her. (As a note, my grandparents, married 55 years, cannot make a copy of their wedding photo because they cannot get a letter of approval from their photographer. This is because the photographers has been deceased for over two decades.). Great service, great product, and great price! Thanks again Alyssa!

Where do I begin? I tell everyone that I made 3 excellent choices for my wedding... 1. My Husband 2. My dress and 3. ALYSSA!!! Alyssa surpassed all of our expectations. My husband and I are usually camera-shy and appear awkward in photos but, Alyssa made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. Alyssa is so fun to work with and made group shots after the wedding ceremony a great time for us and all of our wedding party. Alyssa met with us before the wedding and effortlessly captured our wedding day exactly the way we wanted! Aside from having a great time working with Alyssa, the photographs that we have from our engagement pictures, rehearsal dinner and the wedding day are incredible. I have received so many compliments on our wedding pictures and many friends and family have contacted Alyssa to work with her as a result of our experience and pictures. I highly recommend Alyssa; she has a natural talent and is a fantastic artist. I know we will be in contact with Alyssa for all future family events!!

Alyssa was a joy to work with. She was fun, had great ideas on different poses, and was great to work with. I've been in quite a few weddings, and she was by far the easiest photographer to work with, and the most fun. We genuinely had fun while taking pictures.

We were fortunate enough to have Alyssa shoot our wedding in September and I cannot recommend her highly enough! I booked Alyssa right after meeting her because she felt like a friend, and it is really important to like the person that is going to be following you around on your wedding day.During the whole planning process she was super helpful, always there when we had questions, and calmed my nerves about the logistics of the day. I don't think of us as being photogenic, and was worried that we would feel awkward being the centers of attention, but Alyssa brought out the best in both of us. My husband (whom i was sure would not like being photographed all day) said he felt like George Clooney. We couldn't be happier with our photos, they are AMAZING. She captured all of the emotions of the day and we are so lucky to have this wonderful collection of timeless images to look back on.

Alyssa is fantastic! We liked her and her photos instantly, but she still, somehow, managed to exceed our expectations. We met with her twice, and signed the contract with her on our second visit. We met a third time, a few weeks before our wedding, to walk through Independence Park to scout some good backdrops for photos. She was totally accommodating, reassuring, and had great ideas. On our wedding day, she stuck to the schedule we had discussed, kept me and my wedding party and our families entertained, and totally blended in with our guests. She was unintrusive, but managed to capture, I think, almost all of our guests in at least one photo. We can't thank Alyssa enough for capturing our wedding day so perfectly!

Alyssa was fantastic! Our pictures are so gorgeous--all of my unmarried bridesmaids love the photos so much that they insist they are going to hire Alyssa to be their photographer when they get married! She has a great personality and is a lot of fun to work with, which is important. She can get great poses out of ordinarily shy people. We also had Alyssa do an engagement photo session with us. Those are also gorgeous and we're so glad we did it! We spent one hour with her and had hundreds of great shots as a result. Aside from her fantastic talent, I also love that she edits every single photo takes, which a lot of other photographers don't do. She also provides you with a CD with all the wedding photos on it for you to do with what you want--which is a huge value! She also doesn't charge by the hour-she's there with you ALL day. She's very responsive and had our photos back to us promptly. When my fiance and I were looking for a photographer we met with four high end photographers. We met Alyssa last and chose her. It was an easy decision--we're so glad we made it! I highly recommend her!

Wow the photographs we got from Alyssa Maloof Photography were just wonderful. So many different and creative scenes/poses that I thought it was a real work of art. They really remind me of my wedding, and I'm glad I got such good photography.

Alyssa Maloof Photography did such an awesome job with my sister's wedding that we were overwhelmed when we saw the photos. Ms. Maloof was able to capture the beauty and elegance of an older Philadelphia City Hall courtroom in a way that I thought impossible. When I first entered the room it was dark and felt cluttered. The photos showed a completely different story! The images that Ms. Maloof captured turned a small City Hall wedding (on a rainy day, I might add) into an stately, elegant and refined experience. The exterior shots were even better, as Ms. Maloof guided the newlyweds into the courtyard of City Hall, she photographed them impromtu and captured the essence of the city within the context of stately beauty. The photos were absolutely AWESOME. I highly recommend Alyssa Maloof Photography, not only because of her technical skill behind the camera, but for her innate ability to KNOW WHERE to point the camera. That profound gift, in my opinion, cannot be taught at the finest art schools, the photographer just has to have that instinct and Maloof has got it!

Alyssa Maloof Photography is AMAZING! We had a small ceremony in a courtroom in Philadelphia's City Hall and, needless to say, we were not expecting much by way of flowers or backdrop. The final product completely disproved our predictions! The photographs truly captured the feeling and moods of the moment - romance, love, and magic. Our wedding itself was rather last minute, but Ms. Maloof was able to immediately capture and document the most intimate interactions between our families and friends.After the ceremony, Ms. Maloof photographed us throughout City Hall, its beautiful courtyard, and South Broad Street. She even captured the rush hour traffic and passersby complimenting us! Her photographs are breathtaking, and every time we review them, I am reminded of how special that day was for my husband, myself, and our families. Alyssa Maloof was the answer to all our prayers. We can't rave enough about her work! Alyssa was amazing, we loved her. We were nervous about choosing a photographer because we know nothing about photography, but seeing her work online, we thought she took beautiful pictures, so the next step was to meet her in person. She was very responsive through phone calls and emails while we were setting up a time to meet in person. When met her at her office/gallery and we loved her, we thought she was very nice and professional so we were sure she was the one we wanted. We discussed the details and she explained what we would get up front. She was very flexible with her time, we had a traditional Vietnamese wedding, so this was a day long event, she did not know what she was getting herself into, but she handled it like a champ. She took amazing pictures and we can't wait to see our album once it is complete. The advice we was given when we were choosing a photographer is the same we would pass to anyone else who's looking. Be sure that your personalities matches. We interviewed a few and you could tell that it was just another gig to them or that they had no heart in it. But with Alyssa you could tell from the beginning that she loves her work, then she genuinely enjoys the events that she attends, and I think that adds the value to the cost, because that comes through in the pictures.We highly recommend this photographer and if we have any other major events, we hope to have the chance to work with her again.

Alyssa combines professionalism with extraordinary creativity. She let us be ourselves and took some beautiful candid photos which is what we wanted. She told a beautiful story with her pictures and her presence was so relaxed and comforting. She made me feel beautiful and my husband felt like a stud too!! Alyssa was so fun and fabulous to work with! We chose her because I had looked at countless photography websites and her photos made me the most emotional. Everyone is the photos looks, happy, fun, and relaxed and that was definitely the experience we had with Alyssa. I don't think I've ever had so much fun getting my picture taken. I was a little frazzled before the ceremony, but taking pictures with Alyssa and my bridesmaids before hand was so much fun. She set the perfect tone for the wedding. She's creative, warm, and a pleasure to work with. My bridesmaids loved her so much they invited her out for drinks. And now that we've gotten our pictures back I can confidently report that she does really excellent work! She got photos of all of our guests and caught all the right moments. We couldn't be happier! In the end we were happy with all our wedding vendors, but if I could only recommend one it would definitely be Alyssa!

I just wish I got more "tradional" wedding photos. One thing I really wish I had was a family photo..I loved Alyssa's work, she was really fun to work with and I recommend her to anyone in this area needing any photos taken for an event.

When we spoke to Alyssa Maloof and other wedding photographers regarding our wedding on September 29th, 2007 we had a few specific requests. We were looking for someone who would provide professional photography for an intimate wedding ceremony and reception at the Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia for only about 30 guests. We also looked for someone who would meet up with me and my two daughters ages 4 and 6 at the time down by Franklin Square to photograph them with me on a carriage ride and just being out on the town beforehand. The other important request was to capture the ceremony and reception in a classic, black and white sort of way and not just all color photos. We felt strongly that Alyssa was clearly the right person for the job based on her flexibility, inherent passion for photography, and previous work on her website.In having those expectations already set in our minds, she still managed to exceed our already elevated expectations in every way. When we first received the dvd we were simply astonished and wowed by the way she captured the evening. The work a photographer performs should not just be for canvasing the memories you see in the picture, but by capturing those emotions and enabling one to relive the moments on that special day for all who were there and drawing in those who were not.

I HATE to have my picture taken!!! So when it came to picking our photographer for our wedding I was not too excited. We met Alyssa through a friend who used her for his wedding. As soon as I met with her and saw her work, I just knew she was perfect for me and my style. The pictures where not the traditional poses and cheesy wedding pictures you see over and over. They were so natural. They really showed who we were as a couple. Alyssa was so relaxed and made me feel the same way which lead to gorgeous pictures. She made me feel at ease on both the wedding day and during our engagement pictures(which I highly recommend!) There was not a picture that she took that I did not like. I had a terrible time trying to pick the pictures to include in our album.I would recommend her to everyone and anyone!! I can't wait to work with her again on our family pictures!

When we spoke to Alyssa Maloof and other wedding photographers regarding our wedding on September 29th, 2007 we had a few specific requests. We were looking for someone who would provide professional photography for an intimate wedding ceremony and reception at the Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia for only about 30 guests. We also looked for someone who would meet up with me and my two daughters ages 4 and 6 at the time down by Franklin Square to photograph them with me on a carriage ride and just being out on the town beforehand. The other important request was to capture the ceremony and reception in a classic, black and white sort of way and not just all color photos. We felt strongly that Alyssa was clearly the right person for the job based on her flexibility, inherent passion for photography, and previous work on her website.

In having those expectations already set in our minds, she still managed to exceed our already elevated expectations in every way. When we first received the dvd we were simply astonished and wowed by the way she captured the evening.

The work a photographer performs should not just be for canvasing the memories you see in the picture, but by capturing those emotions and enabling one to relive the moments on that special day for all who were there and drawing in those who were not.

Alyssa was an awesome photographer for not only my wedding but my maternity shots to follow! She is incredibly well-bred in the field of Photography and her amazing shots speak for themselves.
