I would need a book to summerize the amazing services that we received from Amanda. She is not only our photographer but feels more like a friend. Every picture that I envisioned for my wedding day and engagment session, Amanda brought to life. It was like she could read my mind sometimes! lol We were very nervous to be in front of a camera all day but Amanda made us feel so comfortable and natural, sometimes we did not even notice that she was there. You can tell that she loves what she does and it shows in her work. She has been a blessing in our lives and her photos are AMAZING! We made memories with her that we will cherish forever! We have received countless complements on our engagement and wedding photos and were even featured in various blogs because of her god-given talent. We were married in Italy and her flexibility in traveling helped ease our minds tremendously when choosing our vendors. Not only does she do a consultation to get to know her clients but she offers amazing photo books and extras that just add a finishing touch to her awesomeness! We love Amanda and would never use anyone else for professional photos. We can't wait to have children so that she can work her magic with them as well!! :) I MOST DEFINITELY recommend Amanda House Photography! You will not be disappointed!

Amanda was absolutely amazing. She was able to capture those special moments that a bride and groom always hope for. She is creative and so easy to work with! She also got our pictures back to us with all haste (: Any idea you have she can make it a reality! I recommend her for pictures you might want to have taken!

We would recommend Amanda House Photography to any couple in search of the perfect photographer for your wedding day, or any special occasion! She is an amazing photographer. It was such a pleasure working with her. She and her assistant definitely made our experience a memorable one. She's been extremely easy to contact/work with from the very beginning. Always available to answer any questions and be of any assistance. She was so patient and friendly with everyone at our wedding. We had a mishap that set our wedding back and in turn made our reception last a little later than planned. She and her assistant stayed with us the entire time and never made us feel rushed. They wanted to make sure they truely captured every moment of our big day. She had also looked on Pintrest prior to the wedding to see what type of pictures I liked so she was prepared for those poses on the day of the wedding. She was even reminding me of poses I had pinned that I had forgotten about. We were beyond pleased with our decision to use Amanda House Photography for our special day!

Amanda House was amazing from the very first e-mail I ever sent. Her professionalism and willingness to work with me was phenomenal, and I will be contacting her for any future photography sessions that I need.She did our wedding, engagement pictures, and bridal pictures, and all of them are incredible! She has a great eye and captures the moments perfectly! She also has the best personality so she makes photo shoots fun and relaxing! Her prices are so reasonable, and the photos are the best! Words cannot say enough good things about Amanda House Photography, and I highly recommend her!

Amanda took both my engagement and wedding photos. I was so pleased with her work. She captured things I would not have even thought of. She was very professional and flexible on my wedding day considering nothing went as I had planned. She was absolutely amazing!!!!

Amanda is a GREAT photographer!!! My husband and I would highly recommend her to anyone!! She does an amazing job at a reasonable price :) She is a great person to work with and is very easy going. A little about me:

I am a Christian. Any talent I may possess is a gift from my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I will strive to use my talent for his glory alone. I would be nothing without Him.

What primary photographic style do you identify with?

What do your packages include?

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?

It depends on what the bride is looking for, but all photos are at least edited for basic color, contrast, saturation, and white balance correction.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

I have experience shooting in many different lighting situations including bright outdoor weddings and indoor weddings with ambient-lighting only.

Is your media preference film or digital?

Digital

How many photographers do you work with?

I always have a 2nd photographer and I have a network of 3-4 photographers that I work with on a regular basis.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Yes

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

I never do more than one event per day, but I may book myself for more than one event in a weekend.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

I try to make sure there is a replacement for me in the event something happens to me on the day of the wedding.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

It depends on the lighting situation as to what equipment I will bring, but I always bring two cameras and a variety of lenses.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

YES!!

Do you charge hourly or full day?

I primarily charge for a full day (which is approximately 8 hours), but sometimes an event will pose an hourly charge if the number of hours requested is above a normal work day.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

Yes - I charge $100/hour which covers me and a 2nd photographer. I only charge this for work that is requested in addition to a normal work day.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

Breaks are dependent on each wedding day. I don't take very many because I don't want to miss anything! But, on days where I do take breaks they are very short and I provide my own meal.

Do you charge for travel?

If the venue is outside a 60-mile radius of Hartselle, AL, I may charge travel fees.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

It usually takes 3-4 weeks to edit photos and have proofs ready for viewing.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

Proofs are available in an online gallery and are also sent via CD.

How long can the client keep the proofs?

Clients may keep proofs indefinitely.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

Yes

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Yes

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

Yes

Will images be available for viewing online?

Yes

What kind of albums do you offer?

I offer custom-design, hard-bound albums that include thick, lustre-coated pages for protection.

When will the client get the final album?

Once photos have been edited, clients will then choose photos they want in their album. Once photos have been chosen, it takes approximately 2-4 weeks for albums to be designed, printed, bound and shipped.
