Amanda is fantastic!! She is fun, energetic, and has a very artistic eye for photos. Both our engagement and wedding pictures turned out great and I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a photographer.
About Amanda Lock Photography
When I get excited I hop. When something makes me happy I clap. Any correspondance from me are usually peppered through with smiley faces, exclaimation points and random tangents. I have a phobia of being late and always arrive half an hour early
anywhere and then sit in my car and people watch. I am completely self taught. I use my appendages (arms, legs, etc) as a human tripod. Don’t be surprised if you see me hooking a foot around a fence and leaning back to get the perfect shot. I
use natural light. People make me happy. Being part of people’s every day life rocks. I like to capture the mundane. Shooting weddings is the best thing. It is their happiest day. What else could you ask for?

Do you have liability insurance?
No
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I have experience shooting in low light situations, as well as direct sunlight.
Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital. I'm the kind of gal who likes to be on the go, to get things done. Digital allows me to see what I'm shooting right then and there, and enables me a much quicker turnaround time.
How many photographers do you work with?
I always have a second shooter/assistant for weddings.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Of course! Barring of course, flood, famine or other absurdities. :)
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Definitely not more than one event a day! Shooting weddings is exhausting. :)
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Camera (of course), lenses, flash, batteries, emergency kit (with Shout wipes, dental floss, bobby pins, etc) :)
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Always.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
I am available for extra hours for $100/hour.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
For weddings, between 4-6 weeks. For engagement and other shoots, generally no later than 1-2 weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Initial proofs are shown on my website's proofing page.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
The proofs are online for 3 months.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
I provide the high resolution digital files to all of my wedding clients, and any other clients who purchase $300 or more of prints.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Absolutely!
