The opening of Amanda Touch of Color Salon in August of 2006 is proof that positive hardwork plus determination still add up to the American Dream. To understand how this dream became a reality one needs to look no further than the salon owner Amanda Saephan.

Amanda immigrated to the United States from a small Laotian village in 1986. Over the past 22 years she has worked hard to make a better life for herself and her family. Ms. Saephan has always been willing to go the extra mile to achieve her goals. She looks for this same focus and sense of entrepreneurial spirit when selecting stylists to join the Touch of Color Salon team.

Amanda is a 1992 graduate of the Edward Wadsworth Institute for Hair Design in Portland, OR. She owned and operated a salon in Portland called "Professionally Yours". Amanda's passion for her art inspires her to continue learning new techniques and styles through continuing education classes and workshops. In 2001, she became a Schwarzkopf Certified Advanced Hair Color specialist.

With 16 years of experience in the industry, Amanda has numerous and impressive professional credentials. Her clients have included Seattle news anchors and politicians. Amanda's work has been featured locally on KCPQ 13 and nationally on CNN. Her talent and dedication have earned the loyalty of many clients. Ninety percent of her clientele are referrals from other satisfied customers.
