Hiring Crystal turned out to be the best decision I made during the entire process. It was truly refreshing to work with someone who is so professional, organized, efficient, and thoughtful in her work. What I liked best about working with Crystal was that she is personally invested in each event she plans; she goes above and beyond to ensure that the event runs smoothly and beautifully and that everyone - including (and ESPECIALLY) the bride and groom - can enjoy the special day.
I initially retained Crystal for day-of coordination services for my September 6, 2008 wedding, but she ended up being so much more than a day-of coordinator. Crystal helped me throughout the entire wedding planning process, from answering etiquette questions, to recommending vendors, to accompanying me and advising me during visits to linen rental companies, to independently meeting with lighting companies and designing the lighting for our event (which was spectacular), to providing design advice, and even creating our escort card board. She has fantastic vision and, through her creativity, was able to completely transform our reception venue from a very typical, somewhat unattractive dining room in a Chinese restaurant to an elegant, intimate space – our guests, many of whom had been to the restaurant before, were blown away by how amazing the room looked. I was very impressed and appreciative of how much work and attention Crystal devoted to our event - it truly reflects her investment in creating a beautiful event, no matter what the effort.
Because of Crystal’s help, I had no worries or concerns on my wedding day - I was able to enjoy every moment, confident that if anything came up, Crystal would take care of it. Our wedding and reception started and ended exactly on time (even our 10 course Chinese banquet came out according to schedule, which is AMAZING for a Chinese restaurant), and I was blown away by the site designs that she had helped create in coordination with our florist and lighting/linen rental companies. Her demeanor throughout the entire event was calm and professional, never frantic or stressed - it was a pleasure to have her with me throughout the day. I am admittedly a control freak, and I think it speaks volumes that I felt completely at ease in entrusting my wedding day to Crystal and that I was able to completely enjoy the day. I recommend her without reservation.




We are very grateful that we got Crystal as our wedding coordinator! We still say she was worth every penny for all the time, stress, and work she saved us. I'm a pretty organized person, so our main concern was the day-of coordination (so that we could fully enjoy the day) and the design aspect of it all. We believe Crystal's strength is in design, which is the key reason we chose her. She is also very detail-oriented, organized, and proactive. We had booked her two years before our wedding date, and got the full package. In those two years, she procured most of our vendors, based on our criteria, and refined our vision. Every single vendor she recommended went above and beyond our expectations, as did she and her team. She was always on top of our month-to-month schedule, gently reminding us of what we had left to do. Crystal was never pushy or overbearing - always pleasant, and nudged us in the right direction if we were to go astray. From big things to minor questions, I emailed Crystal constantly. She was always prompt and very thorough when she replies. And she has a good answer to everything wedding related!
Our actual wedding day was as perfect as can be. The timeline Crystal did was flawless, leaving us extra time to absorb and enjoy the day. She coordinated not only the wedding festivities, but also the design element of the day with the vendors - flowers, lighting, floor plans, cake design, and any other detail you can think of. We are still getting compliments on how beautiful the day was and how much fun everybody.

Hiring Crystal from Amazae Special Events was the best thing we could have done for our wedding! My husband and I decided we wanted help mostly with coordination, someone who would be our second set of eyes and ears, someone to help with pre-wedding and day-of coordination/logistics (who's picking up what, what goes where, etc. etc.) Crystal proved to be a true blessing for our special day. She was extremely organized, professional, efficient and most of all sincere.
It was so important to us that our day flow as smooth as possible...that it was obvious to our guests that we spent alot of time planning and preparing, we wanted our guests to enjoy themselves.
