Amelia Lyon Photography

I researched, I mean REALLY researched, the perfect wedding photographer for us. I interviewed several and although many of them were talented, Amelia Lyon truly stood out among the others.

At our initial meeting, she brought sample photo albums and explained in detail what to expect. Both my planner and I were in awe of her professionalism! Amelia also provided us with a specific contract that outlined what we'd be receiving with each of her packages. She sold me at this point, as some of the other vendors I'd encountered could barely return my emails. But Amelia definitely wasn't a rookie--she was polished and prepared throughout the whole process.

We then shot an engagement session with her a few months later. My husband is not much of a "picture person." Amelia did everything she could to put him at ease. He was tough! Eventually she won him over and he even admitted that her great personality made him more comfortable in front of the camera. On the day of the wedding, her and Justin (her husband/2nd shooter who was equally talented and just as personable) were so great to work with. They were on time, ready to shoot and captured all the special moments on our big day. I was a little disappointed that the weather wasn't in our favor (we had an outdoor ceremony) and that little things didn't go as planned. But I really had faith in Amelia and knew she would take care of everything photography-related. I knew that our pictures would end up gorgeous no matter what! And they did! Both our engagement and wedding photos turned out so unique and amazing.
