These guys are simply the best - we are so lucky to have not only hired them, but to have used them for all aspects of our wedding. They are incredibly talented, both musically and vocally, but most impressively - they were just as amazing whether playing religious music during our ceremony, jazz music for our cocktail hour, or dance music that brought the house down during the reception. Illeana was a dream to work with, and although we didn't micromanage our set-lists, we were able to craft a style of music for our evening that was simply perfect (Illeana is also an A+ performer as well!)

Book Soulville! This band is amazing!
We were told about AEN through a friend who had seen them at a wedding down in Arizona. We got in touch with Glen and the process was super easy. To be honest, we were a bit apprehensive about not picking our own set list. We picked out the "type" of music and songs we like, and told Ileana about any songs we did NOT want to hear, but we were told to trust the band -- they know how to get crowds going and keep them going. We took a leap of faith, and boy was it a great leap! The dance floor was packed all night and the music was terrific. The band even indulged us with an encore as the packed dance floor chanted "one more song!" It was a wonderful celebration and the band was a huge part of it. We can't thank you enough!

Soulville California is the best investment we made for my daughters wedding.
I knew the right band was critical to the success of the wedding Sept. 1st and I'm so glad that the recommendation of American Events Network was spot on. They provided the best music I have ever heard at a live event. It was perfect from the ceremony, during the cocktail hour, and throughout the reception where everyone was on the dance floor the whole evening.
Before the wedding they were always available and so easy to work with. They helped us plan a timeline that assured success and guided us on music choices in addition to my daughter and her husband's playlist. All I can say is...The band is awesome and they rocked!!! From start to finish the dance floor was packed! We have not stopped receiving compliments on how amazing they sounded and the energy they gave off. They even had my 84-year-old grandmother on the dance floor.

The MC Greg controlled the party so well and brought so much energy. For the entire last 2 hours, they had everyone dancing. At the end everyone was screaming and they had to do 2 encores.

This past Saturday evening your "Amazing Band" played at my niece's wedding at the Annandale Country Club in Pasadena.
I want to check your availability for December 15 having Soulville for our holiday party at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
You have one of the most amazing bands I have heard in years. I have been involved in music since I was 11 and I also majored in Music through school and in college. Having played all the gigs and also backed up many big R & R bands in the 60's and 70's, I know how fun it is and also how difficult it is; But yet, we still love playing and being on stage. The Soulville band is AMAZING!!!! They made are wedding perfect. Music was a very important part to our wedding as the band sets the tone and energy in the room. They exceeded our expectations beyond what we could have ever hoped for. They have booked 3 weddings just off of our wedding.

They were my favorite vendor to work with in the planning stages and the best investment by far.

I did not step off the dance floor once we were done with dinner and the night ended too soon!!!! The band had to learn our first dance and I kept on having to look to see if the real artists were on stage. Each band member was very talented and they enjoyed the night as much as we did.

Soulville is worth every penny! We saw them perform at a friend's wedding and they blew everyone away. We HAD TO have them for ours. We had gone to two top wedding agencies on recommendations but Soulville won us over hands down.

We were on a tight budget and music was the most important thing to me for my wedding. We were in contact with other bands and booking agencies and I thought we might not be able to afford a band. We even considered a Deejay.

We had a meeting with Glen and not only did he make everything fit our budget; the eight-piece band was the best ever. From ceremony through the reception the music was perfect. Our lead vocalist was Leroy and he learned special music for our first dance and it could not have been better. He also sang “Somewhere over the Rainbow” on ukulele for the ceremony and that was Amazing!

Our entire group danced all night and still rave about how great the band was.

Words are not enough for how great this band is. Wow did they deliver on making my wedding exceed expectations. Having a band for my wedding was everything to me. I checked out most of the top wedding bands in LA and Soulville came highly recommended.They had everyone dancing all night. All of my music insider friends commented this was the best band they have ever seen at a wedding, bar none. Two of our friends have hired them for their wedding from ours.My brother had a surprise song and played with the band. I was VERY worried at first but they made him look like a rock star. We had them perform 1 hour overtime and they still had to do two encores. It was just amazing!

Soulville was unbelievable! They were hands down my favorite vendor. If you are going to splurge on one thing for your wedding, I really felt that a great band that makes the wedding really fun is key!
They were so amazing and literally people are still talking today about how great they were. Greg was our MC, and there were 3 other singers. They sang everything from Frank Sinatra to Usher to Madonna! They performed music from every generation so well and were so great at evaluating what people were dancing to. People were dancing until 1:30 in the morning!

Before I went to American Events I didn’t know anything about wedding bands. My coordinator Gail Garceau referred Soulville to us. After our meeting they made everything super easy and I had everything I needed to know. We used their suggestions and pacing system and our wedding exceeded all of our expectations. It was perfect. With over 250 guest, most of them in the twenties and thirties, the band was the highlight. We had a photo booth and a Karaoke bar that we didn’t need because everyone was having fun with the band. They played an-hour overtime and still had to do an encore. Fantastic! I still get compliments and my biggest memory of the reception is how great the band was. Amazing! Amazing! Soulville is Awesome!! If you are looking for a wedding band and want to sleep better at night, you have to get Glen Holland and Soulville on your team. My husband and I are both in the music industry and we knew at our first meeting we were in good hands.
We were overwhelmed by the amount of wedding bands that were referred to us, along with the high cost from the top wedding agencies. (Some were 10k)
The second tip off was their promotional videos are superior to any of the others we had seen.
Third, we got to see them perform live at the Blockbuster Music Awards and were blown away.
For our special day Soulville was flawless and created an energy that exceeded our expectations.
Glen and Ileana went over details on how to create the perfect pacing with elegance and then transition into a high-energy “fun” dance atmosphere.
