Julie was the DJ at my wedding. She got our crowd dancing and grooving and took great pictures during the reception as well. She was very patient with my husband and I regarding deadlines and she's also very flexible in finding the random song my aunts wanted to dance to. (Todo-Todo). And I love her accent! Thank you so much Julie for making our wedding a special and memorable day!

Juli of American Mobile Music... is FABULOUS!!! She DJ'd my wedding at Tivoli Terrace on 2/17/13 and did a great job. She has a wonderful English accent which added to my wedding in sucha unique and eloquent way! It was exactly what I wanted at my wedding! She takes pix and vids throughout the night/ day of your wedding... and she does very well with it too! :o) She is a little higher than some other DJ's but she's quality... you know what they say, "You get what you pay for"! However, she will work with you on the deposit and price....! In my opinion, she is money well spent! She provided a superb package deal complete with uplighting and disco ball, etc...

She directs your guests appropriately and tactfully... her website takes some getting used to, but on it she let's you pick out all of your music for the very important reception events... She truly added something very special to my wedding...

We met with both Julie and Bob from American Mobile Music and they are both incredible. Julie DJ'd our wedding and we loved her spirit throughout the whole process. American Mobile was very familiar with our venue and Julie did a great job of managing the schedule and getting a very diverse group of our family and friends to get involved and have a great time. We inlcuded a New Orleans tradition of the Second Line and Julie did a great job introducing it and explaining a little bit about the history of the Second Line which really helped get people up and participating. Hello party planners! If you want an amazing DJ you have to go with American Mobile.

After meeting with severals dj's and just not feeling confident they would be able to get the wedding dancing since it was a morning brunch i finally found American Mobile DJ! From the first time I spoke with Julie I knew she was going to be the perfect fit as the DJ for my wedding. And boy was I right!!

Not only did she play every song at the "perfect timing" she was like an extra bridesmaid/wedding planner!! :) Their website has a very simple tool that allows you to ad/ delete songs before the day to make sure you get all the songs you want played too which is simply the best thing when you're trying to do a hundreds things at once. It allows you to save and go back when you want on your own schedule.

Brides: my florist didn't show up! As you can imagine I was balling in tears and there was Julie to the rescue out of nowhere she had a fan cooling me off from crying and ice cold water! I kept thinking I didn't know I was hiring a friend when I picked you as my DJ. She was that amazing. She had a little camera as the day went and was snapping candid shots it was so adorable :)

I can't wait until our next event because I will absolutely without a doubt be using Julie!!

Ps. Savvy Flowers was the florist who just simply didnt show to my wedding after being paid in full and sent a simple apology the day after. No I'm not joking!! Julie was running around helping pull flowers together that The Hacienda had lying around. She was...

Julie was our DJ. She is very professional, friendly, and responds to email quickly. The interactive online music planning tool makes selecting music very easy! I told Julie that we just wanted a lot of background music since we are not dancing type people. She played all of the songs we requested, and then played a good selection of songs that she chose.

For our first dance, we wanted a somewhat obscure song that is only available for purchase on iTunes. Julie had no problem with that!

Bob and Julie are both wonderful people! They are such talented des, and Bob is such an amazing performer...you just have to hear him for yourself because words cannot describe his talent! They are so much more than entertainers, however...Bob spent so much time before the wedding suggesting ideas and getting our feedback on playlists and the order of events, and he knew our venue at Tivoli so well that he was able to walk us through all parts of our day ahead of time, which allowed us to make detailed decisions to make our day unique and memorable. All of the guests were asking how we met Bob and all agreed with enthusiasm that he absolutely made the day a blast. We hope to know Julie and Bob for many years to come; we are so fortunate to have met them and insider them both dear people and friends.

American Mobil Music DJ Service was amazing! The price was beyond reasonable compared to every other DJ service I researched. Julie was beyond professional, and was always very quick to respond to my emails. She was also very flexible in adjusting the music I wanted played, and asked a lot of questions about the style of music we wanted played at our wedding. We had an absolute blast with the music played at our wedding, and couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Julie was the DJ for our wedding and she was fantastic. She was very helpful in the days leading up to the wedding and willing to do anything we asked. On the day of our wedding, we made a few last minute changes and she was so flexible and accommodating. She knows exactly what she is doing and helped calm me down and ease my nerves on the big day. We had a very diverse guest list and she played music that brought them all together....we had such a great time. Her prices are very reasonable, but she is well worth every penny you spend. There was not a dull moment at anytime from ceremony to reception. The crowd kept dancing and dancing and dancing. Julie and Bob are great! Julie ended up being our DJ at our wedding, and she was awesome! We were very happy with the services they provided. Julie was great with playing everything on our requested list and my 12 year-old nephew was a hit on the dance floor when he was dancing to his requested song "Moves like Jagger." We just got married on 7/24 at Tivoli Terrace and it was a perfect day from start to finish. Julie was our DJ for the day and she was amazing! Unknown to me, our pianist had an emergency and wasn't able to play at our wedding ceremony. Julie stepped in without missing a beat and played all the music for our ceremony and it was incredible. As I walked down the aisle she played "From This Moment" by Shania Twain and had the prelude playing while I walked up the stairs and it was magical. Everyone attending said that it was timed so beautifully and hearing the words was so much better than hearing it played on the piano. Julie was the ideal mistress of ceremonies and the music was great! Julie and Bob are so wonderful to work with and I highly recommend then for any event!!

We selected American Mobile Music as a recommendation from our venue. They are a husband and wife team who DJ independently. They have a great, easy to use website and fair pricing. They allow you a play and do not play list and an area to write down any specifics of the day. I wrote down a lot and they followed everything without missing a beat. We had Julie as our DJ and she was kind and happy and she helped make it a wonderful evening. A DJ is a really important part of an event and I would happily suggest them for your special day!

American Mobile Music in Laguna Niguel are fantastic. They helped make my wedding the best day of my life. The music is such an important part of a wedding and AMM will make any bride happy. The original meeting is largely focused on a cover singer but whether you choose to use him or not the work they do is great. They will play 10 songs you personally select and provide great songs to fill in the space. My husband and I love classic rock and are no thuge on hip hop and they made it work. Everyone was dancing and having a great time, especially my husband and I. I strongly recommend.

Bob from American Mobile Music did a top notch job providing his service at our wedding. He was Responsive, Professional, and had a vast knowledge of music genres for all ages. Bobs best talents during our wedding were his singing ability, and way he helped M.C. all of our events during the reception. I have been a DJ myself now for 13 years and as you can imagine I was under some stress to find a DJ that would exceed my expectations. Here's our experience with Bob:

1- We requested a specific song as one of the out top picks. It was a promise we made to our nieces and nephews and they confirmed on an email that they had it. To our surprise it was not brought to the wedding so we ended up not playing it.
2- We had international music which we were asked to burn on a CD (as requested by Bob). What it was never mentioned was the format. We gave the CD, they day of our wedding at 4:30 when they arrived. It was at 7:30 after the ceremony that we were told that the CD and music was in a format that they could not play. We had our first song there and it was important. We assigned a friend for any questions - they should not have waited until at the last minute. My friends had to sneak out of the ceremony go over Kinkos and make a new CD.
3 - Our wedding was on July 15, on July 7th we sent the final wedding program with detail information about the order of the toasts. Also we provided a printed copy when Bob arrived. For the toast we wanted to thank everyone first but Bob went ahead and jump over the groom
4 - Finally, we had enough music selection, there was no need to play songs twice - which was the of two songs (for an hour and a half of dancing, that's noticeable)

Based on our experience we would not recommend the services of American Mobile Music to anyone.

Bob and Julie were very accommodating and courteous. When we met with them, we were planning to have Julie as our DJ, but she introduced us to Bob and we fell in love with him. I knew right then, when he was singing his classic Frank Sinatra song, that he HAS to be at our wedding! Throughout the planning of the wedding, Bob helped me with my song selection and made wonderful recommendations. He also made sure that I picked as many songs as I could, so that I would be happy with the song selection at our wedding. During the wedding, he was the life of the party! He played all the songs my groom and I asked for. He really had a feel for the atmosphere and knew when to play fun song and slow songs. Everyone of our guests could not get enough of him singing hits from Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Bob was amazing, Julie was amazing, the whole experience with them was amazing!!! I couldn't have found anything better!

Julie was so wonderful to work with and did such a great job making sure our night was exactly what we wanted. Their online database where we could select songs made planning ahead of time really easy!

Awesome, awesome, awesome!! We had Bob at our wedding and he was the most helpful, caring and wonderful DJ ever! He truly made our night special. He listened to our needs and was fabulous. Would work with Bob and Julie again in an instant!

Julie was the DJ/MC for our wedding on July 24th at the Hacienda and did an amazing job. We could not fault her in any way at all. Leading up to the event she was responsive, helpful, friendly and accomodating throughout. On the actual day itself she was very well prepared, on top of things and created a really fun but proffesional environment for all of our guests. We had a number of guests say that Julie was the best DJ they had ever seen at a wedding and although we are bias since it was our wedding, we can't disagree!!!

Julie was outstanding. Great energy and experience. The night was perfect and went far to fast as Julie kept us on track through everything. We even left most of the music selection up to her which turned out far better than trying to do it ourselves.

She also guided us through our whole wedding reception with ease, informing us it was time for the important things like the first dance and the bouquet toss. She wasn't just a DJ, but a true MC. They were very prompt in getting us responses. However we asked for only very few slow songs and mainly upbeat, modern music. The Dj ended up playing mainly older, slow songs until I had to go up to him to request faster music as our guest were not dancing and losing interest. Also, I am not a big fan of people singing and the DJ ended up singing quite a few songs. All in all the wedding went well and we made the best of everything. Though it wasn't what we had requested, everyone ended up having a good time and they were very reasonably priced.

We are so glad we went with American Mobile Music. Julie was very helpful in answering all our questions (and we had lots of them). Bob called me the week before the wedding to check in and see if we had any questions or concerns. He told me not to be nervous that he was familiar with the location of the wedding and he told me we were in good hands and promised it would be a great day .... AND IT WAS! The price was unbelievable (especially if you mention the military discount). Julie was our DJ and she was great! She got everyone involved and on the dance floor. Even my new son-in-laws "shy" mother and aunts were out there Kickin it. So many friends have told us what a great time they had. I would definately recommend American Mobile Music to anyone.

These people are amazing! They have an outstanding selection of music and are up to date on the newest hits. Bob is an incredible singer! Moving forward, we will call on American Mobile Music for all our entertainment needs (anniversary parties, birthdays, etc.). The care and consideration brought forth by AMM (from beginning preparation to end/performance) was most exemplary. They definitely brought the magic to our wedding!

Julie is easy to work with and super friendly, very understanding and flexible with my preferences. I did a lot of last minute changes and additions and she was able to accomodate everything. We were also able to get a winter discount (got married in March) so our DJ package turned out to be very affordable. When I asked my wedding venue coordinator who they would recommend the most on their Dj referral list, Bob and Julie were mentioned first. My new husband and I are glad we worked with them!

Julie and Bob are amazing. we initially only meant to hire Julie as our DJ but after the private performance Bob gave us in his studio, we knew that we had to choose Bob for our wedding! He is amazingly talented. My husband and I love the old time music of Sinatra, Danny Kaye, Andy Williams and Bob was so excited to work with us on this. Our guests LOVED the fact that Bob is a live singer and were amazed at his impressions! When he dropped my name into a song, everyone was really surprised. The younger folks enjoyed it as well as the older folks--it definitely brought back memories for them. Bob and Julie are incredibly responsive, a great team, flexible, and their site is very comprehensive and complete. Bob was an amazing MC too! He was able to work with our best man with his interpretive dance/speech, which was a highlight of the wedding. I highly recommend using either Julie as a DJ, or if you want to try something new and unique, definitely pay the money for Bob. He is well worth it!

They were great on the phone there were a couple of time he sang and a couple of songs that we didnt want played. working with them was very easy.

Julie was the DJ at our wedding and she did such a great job. We got married at the Tivoli Too in Laguna Beach and she made it that much more special. She played songs that we requested and was a wonderful MC. I would recommend her services to anyone.

My sister in law just used American Mobile Music for her wedding and asked me to write this review for her. She was very displeased with the service they provided. The DJ, Bob, didn't play the music that was requested by the bride and groom, had a bad attitude, was rude and he did not play requests from guests, which was something the bride and groom had asked for. My sister in law booked with this company thinking that Bob's wife, the person she originally had contact with, would be her DJ. She specifically requested this several times after having issues with Bob being snappy and rude in email communications, but he was sent anyways. The venue coordinator as well as bridal party members spoke to Bob several times to try to get him back on track only to be met with argument, and unwillingness. He even directly insulted the bride's brother when he was asked to play some more contemporary upbeat songs to get people dancing after only playing disco era songs by saying, "I have been playing great upbeat songs. I don't know what you are talking about, where have you been this whole time?" Insinuating that the bride's brother was unaware or stupid, when that was not the case. Of course, perfection can't be expected, but the fact that he was confrontational and rude was totally unacceptable.

I know a DJ is one of the most important people in making or breaking your wedding. Bob certainly did a fantastic job, and the night was unbelievable.

American Mobile offers such personalized service. For my first appointment they invited me to their studio where Bob performed for me and my fiancé. He has a great voice! Bob and Julie were always available to answer questions about my event. What I thought was so wonderful was how tailored the music was to us. I filled out a questionnaire they provided about our tastes and what we were looking for and they were able to make a perfect custom mix. Every time a new song would start I found myself turning to someone and going “I love this song!”.

Julie’s accent is so pleasing to the ears and I really appreciated how she was able to get everyone involved without being cheesy or annoying like some DJ’s I have seen at weddings in the past.

One of the fabulous bonuses to using American Mobile was that we got such great quality and service and a terrific price. They were $300.00 to $600.00 lower than any of the other quotes we got and they were fantastic!

I was so pleased with the service at my wedding that I booked Julie again for my mother’s 60th birthday party as well. Once again Julie was able to make a great mix that was tailored to my mother’s tastes this time! I thought it was amazing how she got everyone dancing at my evening wedding, but I was shocked that she got everyone dancing at this daytime brunch event too!

My husband and I met with Bob and Julie for a consultation a few months before our wedding. By chance, as I walked into their office, I happened to find the perfect wedding jewelry to go with my dress! Julie's prices were very reasonable. After talking to Julie for a few minutes, we were taken to their studio where we received a private performance from Bob so that we would know all our options through American Mobile, and get a taste of Bob's talents. Bob's impressions are dead on and he was incredible! We were sold right then and there and booked Bob immediately!

On the wedding day, Bob put on a spectacular performance. The music fit the atmosphere during the entire event, my guests (of all ages!) were dancing up a storm, and everyone had an amazing time! In fact, many of the guests could not believe that the Frank Sinatra they heard Bob 'playing' was actually being sung live by Bob!!

Another real testament to Bob and Julie's commitment to their quality of service came when my husband and I had a dance instructor choreograph a first dance which had to be cut to a shorter time length by the instructor. Bob went out of his way to cut his own music to match our dance music and practice the song to be sure it was perfect. We were blown away when the first dance began at our wedding and Bob surprised us with a personalized, live version of our Frank Sinatra song.

I would recommend American Mobile Music to anyone! The services provided are top notch, reliable, and affordable. We couldn't be happier with our choice of DJ for our wedding, and we really appreciate both Bob and Julie's dedication to their work.

Julie was our DJ for our wedding and I have to say that I was so happy that I booked with American Mobile. All my guests made comments all night about how great Julie was. Everyone had an awesome time at my wedding and that was really all I wanted. My husband and I picked too many songs to play at our wedding but Julie played the best ones we picked and everyone was out on the dance floor having a great time!! Everytime we called or e-mailed them, they got right back to us and they really just put our mind at ease. They gave us a great price and an awesome reception! Julie from American Mobil Music was our wedding DJ at Tivoli Too! When we first met her, she was professional and very fun at the same time. At our wedding, she got our guests to dance (and they don't usually dance) and do the conga... which ended up being a huge hit. I hightly recommend Julie to anyone in need of a DJ.

Wow, what a treat Bob was for my family. We kept his singing a secret until the reception where he began in a perfect Frank Sinatra imitation of Fly me the the Moon. She was very complimentary to my wedding and me. She made my husband feel very comfortable during the process. She played every song I requested her to play and was able to keep the party going with classic rock music, as I requested. Julie even had a safety pin ready when the strap on my dress broke. Bob Sansom of American Mobile Music was terrible. He didn't play the songs we requested and ruined our first dance song with feedback screeching throughout the song. He was rude to staff at our venue. He stuttered and mumbled constantly. He was unprofessional and made rude embarrassing remarks during the wedding. He played inappropriate songs and for other songs he would abruptly stop playing a song after just starting it. He didn't listen to our requests for the mother/son 2 dance songs. He played just one and said the other song was what us, the bride and groom, wanted to have the audience come dance too. He ruined many special moments and he was just overall rude and HORRIBLE!!! He didn't do anything we wanted!!! And when I wrote a complaint letter to him, he sarcastically wrote back and was as rude as ever. He didn't take blame for his actions. I'm disgusted! I feel for your sister in law Melissa.H!!!

Julie was wonderful. We had to tell her a couple times that she needed to play different music but overall she is great!
