Reviews for AMERICAN LIMO SERVICE
GUEST

We used American Limo for our wedding day and I was happy with the service. They picked us up on time for both drop off and pick up. The driver was professional and helpful. Pricing was OK, I was charged by the hour (transfer fee). If I ever need limo service I would hire them again.

American Limo is a great company to hire for wedding day transportation. Lonnie was very responsive and so easy to work with when I booked our limo. The limo we initially reserved became unavailable last minute but Lonnie offered us an even newer model for an even cheaper price so it worked out in our favor. Our driver was awesome too! He was very professional, helpful and fun. He was on time (maybe even a little early), knowledgeable of the routes/locations and accommodating to last minute changes/delays. Working with American Limo was simple, straightforward and easy from beginning to end.

The only reason I am not giving American Limo a 5 out of 5 is because of an end of the evening issue and dealing with them the day before our wedding. The limo and driver that showed up actually early to pick the bridal party up was absolutely perfect! The driver was so professional and accommodating, helping us all day, going where ever we requested and sticking to our time schedule. He was great and I am so very pleased with the way that worked out. Our bridal party had a blast riding in the limo and sipping champagne! Unfortunately though, at the end of the reception my husband and I were supposed to be picked up and taken to our hotel. The driver never showed up so I finally called the dispatch. The man on the phone was a bit rude and said he would get back to me. After several minutes more out in the cold I received a text message saying our ride would be there in 20 minutes. At that point we were already 30 minutes after our ride should have been there and I was not willing to wait to make it about an hour late! Thankfully a family member took us to our hotel and we canceled with American Limo! Also the day before our wedding I get a call and email from them saying they do not know our times scheduled or our locations! I was shocked! I signed their contract after reviewing it with a fine toothed comb and all of the information was there! After contacting my representative he let me know that it was all ok and that whoever contacted me was wrong. Well a scare like that the day before the event in my mind is very very unprofessional! But we were so happy that the limo that really really counted that day was there and excellent!

The limo service was great. We especially loved the Classic Rolls Royce they provided for the Bride and Groom get away! Everyone was very impressed!

The night of the event service was SPECTACULAR! Our driver was early, curteous and extremely helpful! However, I would HIGHLY recommend that you ONLY talk to this company in person (via telephone). They do not seem to know how to accurately communicate via email and their automated system of confirmations and communication do not seem to work the way that they think it does. Booking the limo was a very time consuming task and it took quite a while to receive the contract/confirmation. Throughout the email process (the only reason I relied on email was because I work full-time and cannot access a telephone easily during the day), the company had mentioned that I would receive a discount if I paid cash on the night of the event. When the driver picked us up to take us back to our hotel, the driver mentioned that I didn't pay the full balance. That's when I informed him (because his company hadn't) that I was supposed to receive a discount if I paid cash. Then after dropping us off the driver called my cell phone to state that the company didn't know of such an arrangement and that I needed to pay the full balance. I told him that I have an email about the discount and I can easily provide a copy if he needs. I never heard from him again. However, while on my honeymoon I had checked my email and noticed that I had received a "Copy of Payment Received" and it being the "full balance" amount and my credit card had been charged...meaning that I had paid double what was owed now. Naturally being on my honeymoon I couldn't call them to clear up the situation, and unfortunately had to go through several emails to get the situation rectified. In this process they emailed a "receipt for refund", however it wasn't an attachment and ONLY appeared in the email when I hit reply. Bottom line...I think our experience with this company would have been a lot better IF they just refused to handle things electronically because it is apparant they don't quite know how to as of yet. Also, via email they are very unprofessional and I will NEVER work with them again because of it.

We sincerley apologize about the difficulty that you had making an electronic reservation. As an owner operator I research all complaints so as not to repeat them in the future. I would kindly ask for any suggestions which I could forward to my web-designer that would make it easier to make an on line reservation. We received your on line reservation on Friday 7/30/10 at 642pm and sent you a contract on Sunday 8/1/10 at 330pm. This is within 48 hours of your on line reservation and the company policy is to respond to all on-line reservations within 72 hours. The dispatcher and the driver do not have access to the emails sent between you and the sales representative. The driver only has the contract that you also had for over 3 months prior to your event date. It does not state anything in regards to a cash discount so he is not at fault and was only doing his job. As for the cost of value complaint, I personally called 3 other limousine companies to see if they could match or beat the all inclusive price of $175.00 for a 1 hour wedding transfer that would include a black or white 10 passenger limo with uniformed english speaking driver, champagne, red carpet, just married sign, soft drinks and gratuity included. I could not find one who would do it for less than $250.00. I sincerly apologize about the confusion that your wife was having while trying to read the refund email. Apparently she was reading it from her cell phone while on the honeymoon. 11.7 was the date that your credit card was refunded $350.00 since you paid cash. She was mistaking it as $11.70 was the refunded amount. Your credit card was reimbursed in full on 11/7/10 for $350.00 since you paid cash. The sales representative responded inappropriately since she was getting many angry emails from your wife over the confusion between the date and the refunded amount. Sorry for the confusion and I have addressed the situation with the sales representative.

I reviewed and contacted many limo companies before finding American Limo and Parking Services. We were determined to find a reliable company after various friends horrible experience with their limo drivers. When we first contacted them with a request they were very prompt in sending us a quote. On the day of our driver was early to pick us up, and patiently waited for my girls and I and then got us to the venue right on time! He was very polite and even went to speak to my father to notify him that I was there. They did not over charge us after the fact and had a 15 minute grace period. The limo was clean and classy and very well priced!

Recived this from a customer:A long while ago I contacted you by email to get information for my daughter's wedding which was held on September 4, 2010. I wanted to let you know that our Driver Peter could not have been more accomodating. I am the Mother of the Bride and unfortunately have to use a wheel chair most of the time and carry with me and use constantly a portable oxygen unit in order for me to breathe. This gentleman was respectful and kind and I appreciate all the reassurance that he gave me on such a special day for my daughter. I did not want any attention on me and my situation and he made that happen. So I just want to thank you and Peter, I will be forever grateful for all his help that day. If I ever need your services in California again, I will certainly use your company, Thanks for makeing the day special. Please pass this along to Peter. Sincerely, Peggy Tursi

Fantastic experience, limo was beautiful, clean and elegant.Driver was very friendly and helpful. price was well worth the money we spent. We can't say enough good things about American Limo.

If you want a good example about how to make your customers mad and not get repeat business, try out American Limousine. We hired them for our wedding and they told us the charge was going to be $199. The service was fine, but we went 10 minutes over and the driver said it was no problem.. Apparently it was "no problem" for him, because when we checked our credit card statement, we were charged an additional 100 dollars.
We though.. Ok, no problem. Probably just a mistake.. We called their customer service, and they told us that additional 100 dollars was a prorated amount for the hour...They also said that it's not up to the driver how much they charge.-- which is absolutely ridiculous, and basically means anything goes! So let me do the math in my head, 100 dollars for 10 minutes.. That comes out 10 dollars a minute. Which means, if we went over 1 hour, it would have been an additional 600 dollars, and if we went over 25 minutes, it would have been an additional 250 dollars... It seems to me that my high school counselor should have been fired for NOT recommending me to become a limo driver-- 600 dollars an hour.. psh. I've been robbed.
This company seems like a scam and I feel what they did was down right criminal. We could have got ran into traffic, and who knows how much the bill could have gone up to? It's not like we told the driver to change where we were going, or pickup extra people. We didn't abuse the upholstery or make a big mess. I don't blame the driver, he was great-- I blame the company. If I could rate this company with negative stars, consider this review to have negative 5 stars.
Edit: Aug, 21, 2010
Called to complain again today, and apparently the rate wasn't "prorated" (so it wouldn't have been 600 dollars an hour). They said that they charged us for the entire 3 hours and the driver noted that we didn't tip. We informed the representative on the phone that we were quoted 199 which includes tax and gratuity. The representative said, well, that's only a 10% tip (... as if we knew?). So which is it!?!?!? Did American Limousine charge us the extra 100 dollars for the tip, or the extra 10 minutes (rounding up to the next hour)? It was interesting because once we informed the CSR (customer service representative) that they advertised that $199 was with tax and tip included, the CSR tried to back peddle and said.. oh.. well. that's just a note from the driver. First of all, how are we suppose to know that it's only a 10% tip!? When you advertise: "tax and tip included", you don't expect to pay anything more because the company has put in enough thought to how much they want to charge. I don't go to a restaurant and think, "Hey.. 8.25% is too low for tax.. I want to help California and pay 20% sales tax."
In addition, we pointed out to the representative that for the last 10 minutes, we were sitting in a valet line and the driver said that it was okay. We could have easily exited the limo, and apparently, ended the ride. Instead, we took the driver's word, and figured it was ok to sit in the limo. The representative, once again, said that it was not up to the driver. This makes no sense! The driver is an employee of the company, and he is speaking on behalf of the company. If it's not up to the driver (who is an employee of the company), then by that same logic, it's not up to the representative who I'm on the phone with (who is also an employee of the company).
Another interesting thing the CSR rep said was that, weddings reservations always run long. This implies to me that:
1. The company was expecting (or betting on us) going over, in order to charge us extra.
2. They weren't up front about their policies and charging procedures.
Dealing with this company in the beginning and during the ride was great, but after the ride, this company turned super shady. They seem to charge customers however they please with no accordance to a real set policy. What sucks is that we could have easily hired another local company for 235 dollars (tax and tip included), for 3 hours! ...Again the driver was great, the company is super shady.

We are sorry for your dissatisfaction with our services. American Limo prides itself in providing excellent wedding transportation services for over 20 years now. You seemed to be happy with the driver, the vehicle and the service but not the fact that your event went long and your overtime charges. We offered you a one hour wedding transfer for 175.00, a two hour wedding transfer for 199.00 and a 4 hour wedding transfer for 260.00. Per your contract if you go over your scheduled end time, which you did by 18 minutes according to the Teletrak on the limo, you will be billed for an additional hour of service. We bill by the full hour and your event went beyond the scheduled end time by 18 minutes. This cuts into the time for the driver to adequately prepare the limo for the next wedding or causes dispatch to have to send another driver and limo to cover the next wedding because yours went long. The limo has to attend other weddings and it is only yours for the time that you reserve it for. It is the client’s responsibility to reserve the limo for the correct amount of hours since the client is the only person who has this information. You were told this verbally and in writing. You signed that you understood the contract which you had in your possession for a month before your wedding and you also signed for the final end time stating that you knew that you were being dropped off beyond your scheduled end time. By no means is it our intention to deceive you as you stated. The contract clearly states a pickup time and an end time. You went beyond your scheduled end time because your wedding was running late and you did not enter the limo until 40 minutes past your scheduled start time. The limo needs to return to base and be cleaned and restocked for its next wedding after yours. When you called you said that you should not have to pay for overtime since you did not get into the limo until 40 minutes after your scheduled end time. You also stated that you were under the impression that your time did not start until you entered the limo. Your time started at the scheduled pick up time and ended at the scheduled end time. If you go beyond that time, which you confirmed that you did verbally and by signing the final end time, then you will be billed an additional hour. I do not believe that we deceived you in any way since you signed the contract stating you understood the terms of service and you signed it on 3 different occasions agreeing that you understood. You signed it when you made the booking, you signed it upon the driver’s arrival and you signed it when the driver dropped you off and asked you to sign for the final end time. I politely ask you to retract your statement since it is not factual. If anything, please classify it correctly because you state that you were satisfied with the quality of services, the responsiveness, the professionalism, the value of cost and the flexibility but you were not satisfied with your final billing due to your event going past the scheduled end time.

The limousine service was great!! The limousine arrived at the hotel to pick up the wedding party on time. The driver was extremely professional and assured our needs were met. At the end of the reception, the driver was already waiting for us outside. He surprised us with a scenic route to the hotel. We would recommend this company to anyone.

We had transportation from Tivoli Terrace to Ayres Hotel and from LAX to Corona, CA. WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED! Very competitive prices, Vehicles were in prime condition, Drivers (Pete) was professional and a pleasure to be around. Overall 100% satisfaction! We will be using them for all of our personal future events!

I was so impressed with American Limo Service. Our driver, Mike, was one of the nicest people I have met. He helped me in and out of the limo, he provided encouragement to me and also to my husband during the ride. It helped so much during the time when you are so nervous. He was friendly to all my passengers. Their prices are so affordable, yet their quality of service far surpasses what you would expect, at any price! I would highly recommend this company and will be using them for any limo needs I have in the future.

We had a beautiful, clean stretch limo arrive promptly when scheduled (actually a bit early!) to take us to the airport for our honeymoon. The driver was polite, courteous, and made sure we had a smooth ride up to LAX. Very reasonably priced, we were very happy with this company overall. Highly recommended and we will use them again in the future.

This company was so professional. They actually showed up early and had no problems waiting while we said our goodbyes. We rode all the way from Garden Grove to San Diego it was such a pleasant enjoyable ride. They had everything from Champagne for me and my Husbands favorite rum!... The car was beatiful and the cost UNBELIEVEABLE!!! Considering we were married on Valentines day!!!!

After attending my nephew's wedding four years ago, I learned the importance of researching limo companies - thoroughly to be certain that my daughter was not embarassed on her once in a lifetime day. We interviewed several companies and were quite relieved when we found one that had been in business for over twenty years. There are many vehicles to choose from and they are all late models and beautiful. The big day came and went with many incredible moments marked in time with beautiful photos and joyous moments. The best part was that there were only joyous moments since American Limo made the transportation totally effortless for everyone. Over 100 guests enjoyed the beautiful bus that shuttled them from the hotel to the ceremony and reception then back. Lonnie's idea to play a loop of photos of the bride and groom from birth to the present time entertained the guests during the ride to the boat. And of course, the bachelor party bus trip to Vegas that landed on America's Funniest Videos was truly first class. While I don't think we ladies will ever hear the total story...the bus was beautiful and the entire package that American provided was very reasonable.

The limo was a few minutes late, but other than that everything went smoothly! Loved the champagne and the limo itself was beautiful! I wish we had a longer drive! Prices are extremely reasonable and no hidden fees like all of the other limo companies we had talked to. As soon as they heard it was a wedding, they would up the price a few hundred, but not American Limo. They gave us one solid price and great service!

AWFUL!!! We got the minimum package because we only needed a ride to the church and then to the reception. We expected an 8:15 pick up for a 9am ceremony about 2 miles away. The plan was to put the dress on at the church. 15 minutes after the limo was supposed to arrive I was involved in a 5 minute 3-way call with the dispatcher who was talking to the driver on his cell. The driver was insisting that he was in front of my house and he had been there for a half hour. Finally, after going back and forth with the driver (who apparently didn't think to knock on a door or call?!) I asked her to tell him to go and physically look at a street sign! She came back on the line and told me that he was on a totally different street. Duh. When he arrived, I was in my dress on the curb waiting. With no apology, his defense (which he said about 6 times) was that "The GPS said that I was there". He was on a different street name and at a different address!!!! Then he said, "Before we can head out I'm going to need to get an imprint of the credit card." My fiance had arranged the service, so of course I didn't have the card. At this point, we were 15 minutes from the ceremony starting. My bridesmaid, my mother and I were all yelling at him- he was seriously the stupidest person ever! We told him we didn't have the credit card and he said that was an unbreakable rule. He finally CALLED the office to see if he could get approval for taking another credit card. Mind you, he didn't do any of this while on the road. We were still standing on the curb. He ran the authorization on my bridesmaid card, waited for approval, then drove off!! 2 of my buttons popped off the dress from me sliding into the limo- and I laid horizontally the whole way there so My silk dress woulndn't be completely wrinkled.
When we arrived, I literally ran up the stairs of the church, into the side door, put on lipstick and walked down the aisle, totally frustrated and totally wrinkled.
Then on our way to the reception he asked my (law enforcement) husband "Do you want to get there fast?" My husband said, "just take it easy and drive normal"?? We had no idea what he was talking about until he started taking side streets the ENTIRE way to the reception instead of taking PCH. What would have been a 20 minute ride took 35 minutes. We felt like we were totally trapped in the back of the limo from hell.
Beware of this service!

In response to your review we at American Limo sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that you may have experienced on your wedding day. Your transportation services were actually provided by an affiliate company operating under the name of Going In Style Limousine Services. I could not remember anything going wrong on this date but when you said a female dispatcher it registered to me as an affiliate of ours that conducted the services. American Limo does not have any female dispatcher's nor have we ever had one. Linda Clark was the dispatcher for Going In Style Limousine Services and her company provided services for you on your wedding date. You probably originally booked through American Limo and due to high demand we had to have an affiliate cover your transportation needs. I was not aware of your situation but will definitely make the appropriate changes for the 2010 wedding season for affiliate coverage. Going In Style is no longer in business. Please notify us directly if you are not satisfied with your services. As I said, I was not aware of your dissatisfaction and would of refunded you for services not rendered or terminated my contract with Going In Style if I had known.
My apologies for poor service representation of American Limo.

BEWARE!!! It is three days before my wedding and Lonnie just cancelled on me. Told me that the ivory-colored Escalade that I reserved was "red-tagged by the CHP" and went on to say how ironic it is that the manufacturer is no longer in business, etc., etc.
The horrible thing is the way I found out - all they did was send me a revised invoice. I couldn't tell what was different but then I caught it - the vehicle was changed to a black Hummer. Good thing I checked and double-checked the invoice!
When I said that I didn't want a black car on my wedding day, he said, "fine, we'll just cancel." Nice customer service, huh?
So much for a contract. I'd stay FAR, FAR away from this vendor!
Vendor response to review
During our mandatory annual regulatory vehicle inspection by the California Highway Patrol for commercial vehicles a suspension/frame problem was discovered on our Cadillac Escalade 200" Limousine which made it unsafe and inoperable. This is for your own safety and it is illegal to operate a commercial vehicle until it has passed reinspection. We were not aware of the defective craftsmanship in the suspension modifications made by the manufacturer Royal Coach Builders out of Anaheim Ca. When the CHP does an inspection and deems a major repair is to be made before operating the vehicle again they "RED TAG" the car by placing a RED TAG STICKER on the outside of the driver's side window. When the vehicle is repaired another inspection is scheduled and conducted and if it passes it is then permitted to operate. This vehicle was not to be even driven to get repairs done to it. We had to have it towed from the terminal. The odometer was recorded and photographed by the CHP inspector.
This repair have been a quick fix if Royal Coach Builders were still in business but they filed bankruptcy and shut down due to the recession. Finding another coach builder to rework the custom work done by another company is not easy. It is also time consuming and costly. This is all custom frame welding and fabrication, not off the shelf parts that can be purchased and bolted on. JM Collision out of Stanton performed the frame and suspension work for us in record time and we were able to get the vehicle reinspected and back on the road within 30 days.
Please understand the complexity of the situation and that we were not alone in this defect. Note the review of Royal Coach Builders by another dissatisfied transportation operater that I have included below;
"many problems with my three limousines they had build: Problem with the suspension with the 300C Hemi Limousine. They never fixed properly. I had a broken muffler because of it. Last year, while triying to get into a parking lot driveway, the limo got stuck because it couldn't handle the incline. I had to call a tow truck to move it. Also this vehicle is not able to go over some speed bump without the passengers having to exit of the limousine.
My Cadillac Escalade 200" super stretch limousine blew up the back tire on the passenger side. When the driver tried to change the tire with the spare tire he could not find the tools anywhere in the vehicle, I had to call a tow truck. It cost me $300 plus $900 because I had to cancel the 6 hours evening job. I did ask the Royal Coach owner to pay for my loses since all this problems were caused by his employees who are suppose to put back all the tools belonging to the vehicles after the conversion is done and before delivering to the buyer.. I have no answer from him.
Nice looking vehicles but very poor quality. I wont recommend it."
In the situation where one of our vehicles is down for a mechanical issue we do our best to provide a replacement for your transportation needs from our own vehicle fleet or through one of our certified affiliates. The Cadillac Escalade 200" Pearl White limo is a rare vehicle and is difficult to replicate from affiliate stock. We had a replacement vehicle available for your event that could accommodate the same amount of passengers and we even offered it to you at a lesser price for the inconvenience. The H2 typically books for more than the Escalade. Unfortunately it was black in color and you did not want a black vehicle for your wedding which is understandable. When this happens there is no other option but to cancel. We took a great monetary loss in out of service time and custom fabrication due to this incident. We were able to complete the reservation since we had a comparable vehicle for a lesser price but you were not satisfied with the color or make. We did our best to remedy this situation and apologize for any inconvenience that we may have caused you.

We had a nice time. The car was very nice and furnished. We drank a bottle of champagne while on the way to the reception. Driver was very friendly and even let us stop at a liquor store.

My husband and I booked American Limousine and Parking Services for our wedding on 9/26/08. We arranged for 2 pickups from a hotel in Brea to our wedding venue in Yorba Linda. The bridesmaids, parents, and bride were supposed to be picked up at 3:45 pm and the groomsmen and groom were supposed to be picked up at 4:30 pm. On 9/26, we were ready to be picked up by the pre-appointed time; however, the limo was not at the hotel at 3:45 pm. I had my husband call the limo driver to ask where he was, and the driver was nowhere near the hotel. In fact, the limo driver did not alert my husband or me that he would be late in picking us up. He never arrived for the bridesmaid and bride pickup; I was driven to the wedding venue in Yorba Linda in my mother-in-law's car and the rest of the bridal party took a hotel shuttle to the venue. The limo was about 15 minutes late in picking up the groom and groomsmen.
We had arranged for the same limo to transport guests from the wedding venue back to the hotel from 10:00 pm - 12:00 am. My husband, my husband's parents, my parent's, and I were among the guests in the last pickup to the hotel at around 12:00 am. When the driver arrived to pick us up, he let us know that drinking glasses were thrown around the car and people were jumping out of the car while the car was in motion. He also told us that we would be charged for each glass broken (which is understandable). He was rude to my husband, the parents, and me during this time.
Upon speaking to the other guests who used the limo before us, the story the limo driver told us was a complete lie. 1 glass was broken when it was being picked up (the bottom of the glass broke off when the guest was taking it out of the holder) and the driver started to drive off while people were still getting into the limo. The driver also would not let people take our centerpieces home with them (which we had previously discussed to the driver and he was okay with guests bringing flowers in the limo), and was rude downright nasty to our guests. We had about 15 guests confirm this.
My husband worked out a deal with the driver that he would take off 1/2 hr. of service for missing the first bridal pickup (when the parents, my bridesmaids, and I were to be picked up at 3:45 pm and did not arrive for the pickup). However, he did not honor this agreement and charged us full price for his mistake.
I would NOT recommend American Limousine and Parking Services for ANY event. He was rude to my husband, my parents and my inlaws, our guests, and me and did not compensate us for his mistake in not following through with our original contract.
* 4/25/09 - I wanted to respond to the review that Lonnie Reynolds wrote. Lonnie, the bridal party was supposed to be at the ceremony site at 4:00pm, not you picking us up at 4:00pm. You never called or notified anyone that you would be running late. Traffic happens, but it should be your responsibility to show up on time or at least notify your clients that you'll be running late. People were not "jumping" out of the limo - you drove off while people were still trying to get in! Again, many folks had confirmed this. In regards to the champagne bottles, I asked that there be no champagne in the limo - you put them in there anyway. You didn't listen to our requests. Lastly - Lonnie, we were not happy with your attitude and service that night, you treated us and our guests with disrespect. When my guests wanted to bring flowers into the limo, which you didn't allow, you yelled at them. I had several guests come up to me and tell me about your rude behavior.
Lonnie, it's not about a refund. I want you to stop making excuses, own up to your mistakes, and make sure that you don't treat future clients like you treated us.

Response from Lonnie Reynolds driver for American Limo.
In response to the comments sent from Janine. My extreme apologies to you and your guests. I was running late due to a traffic accident with an automobile on fire, on the 57 and 91 freeway interchange. I contacted your fiancé to tell him my estimated time of arrival of 4pm. He seemed to be understanding about it since I was stuck in traffic and it was out of my control. I then proceeded to get off of the freeway at the next exit and made it to the hotel as you were driving off at 4pm the exact time my GPS had specified. I called him when I arrived and he said that he would be down at 430pm. When he came down he asked how everything went with you and the bridesmaids and he was surprised when I told him that I saw them driving off as I arrived. During the evening I had a group of out of town guests insist that I take them bar hopping and to a strip club which I refused to do since I was only supposed to shuttle to and from the hotel and wedding venue. They did not like the word no and said that I was hired for the entire night and I should drive them wherever they wanted to go. I showed them the contract and explained to them I was a wedding shuttle to and from the hotel only, no additional stops. They still had choice words for my response. The hotel manager told me that I need to have the stereo off as I arrived to the hotel since your passengers were playing music too loud and other guests staying at the hotel were complaining. This upset some people as I had to turn off power to the back of the limo to satisfy the hotel manager as I approached the hotel. The alternative was to drop them off down the street which I do not think would of went over to well. I also had a problem with some guests getting out of the vehicle while it was moving. There was a stop sign on the hotel property and when I would stop there the guests would think that I was stopping at the hotel when I was not.
Since they could not see forward and only out of the sides of the vehicle, they would then proceed to try and exit the vehicle as I would take off from the stop sign. When riding in a limousine passengers should never let them selves out, the driver’s job to open the doors. I told the guests several times, but in there drunken state they would not listen. I eventually had the doors locked and informed them that I would open the doors for them at the hotel. I had the limo ready for you and your husband at the end of the night with champagne and decorations. To my surprise a group of twenty came out instead and asked to be taken to the hotel. I said ok but we have to hurry and please do not drink the champagne since it was for the bride and groom. They agreed. Upon dropping them off at the hotel they broke four champagne glasses, opened up both bottles of champagne in the car which sprayed everywhere and left a total mess. I asked for some of their names but this was in vain since there were 20 drunken guests who could care less about the damages done to the vehicle. It states in the contract that there is a 100.00 cleaning fee for opening bottles of champagne in the car because it does damage to the interior. I returned back to pick up you and your husband and the last of the wedding party. I could see by the look on your faces that you were not pleased with the condition of the interior of the limo. I did not have enough time to clean it up since the last drop off was so close to the scheduled end time. I explained what had happened and apologized for the condition of the vehicle. A male guest and I cleaned up the broken glass before you got into the vehicle. You wanted to take floral arrangements into the vehicle. The contract clearly states that no floral arrangement are allowed into any vehicles due to water spillage, pollen and excessive cleaning that is required to clean up the mess left behind. The water mildews the carpet, rusts the floor and shorts out electrical equipment. The pollen causes people with allergies in a confined area to have an asthma attack or reaction. This has ruined some weddings in the past where brides have broken out in hives after being exposed to floral pollen from a prior wedding. The leaves and especially baby's breath is difficult vacuum out of the carpet. This was in your contract which you signed that you read and understood the conditions. At the end of the run I apologized to the groom and he asked if he owed anything for the damages and I said that we will call it even since I was 15 minutes late and you had 240.00 in damages and additional time. I had agreed to give him a half hour for free at the beginning of the night since I was stuck in traffic but this was before the additional time and damages. He shook my hand and seemed to be happy. I was surprised to see a negative response and had no further contact with you and your husband. Weddings are stressful events and there are a lot of factors to consider when contracting a 20 passenger limo as a shuttle for a wedding party. Rule number 1 on wedding day is not to run a tight schedule since what can go wrong usually does. Traffic is a variable that cannot be changed. I allowed plenty of time to get there on time but Saturday I was still in traffic for more that 20 minutes and took side streets the rest of the way. The most important rule that I recommend is to read and understand all contract of service agreements. The last is to designate someone to remain sober and coordinate with your guests as they depart to work as a buffer between drunken guests and a limousine driver whose first job is to protect the vehicle. We provide greeter services just for this purpose to coordinate with the waiting guests in regards to shuttle arrival time and to explain that it is to and from the hotel only, the driver will open and close the doors for you and to remain seated at all times. I am sorry that you were not satisfied with you services on your very special day and was not aware that you were unhappy with my services. I will gladly refund you for the half hour as we had agreed upon. Please contact me at 714-412-3485 at your earliest convenience. Your satisfaction is important to me and I would like to remedy the situation.
Sincerely,

What a beautiful car. We rented a classic Rolls Royce and a beautiful white wedding limo from American Limo. Stacey Lynn was outstanding and was so easy to work with. Our driver Lonnie, was on time, in uniform, professional and polite. He made sure that we did not forget anything on his wedding checklist, made sure that we were on time to all of our appointments and provided us excellent service. We are going to use them for our transportation to Vegas for our Honeymoon. Easy, affordable and professional. We cannot say enough nice things about this company. Highly reccomended.

American Limo Services was a great company. They have reasonable prices and their limo's are very elegant. We rented a Lincoln and it was very nice on the inside. The driver knew how to get to the wedding on time and took some shortcuts that allowed us to get there 10 minutes early. We were very impressed.

They handled my transportation and got me and my husband to and from our wedding. They even carried everything into the hotel for us. They are classy and really hard working. Best Limo service in California.

American Limo was great for our wedding. They arrived on time, the driver was friendly & helpful, and even made last minute additional stops. The ride was awesome. We had so much fun! We will use them again

We had a very nice driver. He was efficiant and professional. The car was beautiful!

This company was great! They were amazingly accomodating and more resonably priced then anyone else i looked at. Our driver was also so great!!

Having a shuttle service through the American Parking at Ebell wedding is MANDATORY! but they were great to work with. Ebell Coordinator, Traci suggested we use the shuttle to take us, family and BP to a nearest park right after the ceremony, but the shuttle people were not aware of it we wasted about 15 min trying to handle the situation. The whole time we were trying to figure out what's going on, the coordinator was gone preparing for the reception. But once I told the shuttle attendant the situation, they handled it really quickly and drove us to the beach for family photo shooting.
Also thank my husband's dad for giving my husband such a cool car! When my husband got into an accident in his Honda Civic in '03, he got this car from his dad. Although I was thinking of renting a sedan to take us from the Ebell to the hotel first, I re-considered using DH's car. Needless to say, we were able to take SUCH cool pictures with the Monte Carlo. This was one of the best decisions we made too!!!
