Matt is way more than a DJ...he was the choreographer of the entire evening. He made sure the evening went as planned and I, the bride, didn't have to worry about anything but to enjoy the evening! He delivers everything and more than he says he will. His experience makes your event a huge success.

Matt is phenomenal! He went above and beyond anything we could of imagined for our wedding entertainment. He followed up on all of our requests and covered details we never would of even thought of. Beyond that, he touched base with all of the other vendors including the caterer, photographer and reception site to verify not only his involvement for the evening, but also to insure coordination of everyone and everything. Matt is the best! We picked several songs that were not on his website, and he never even mentioned it, just took care of them, and played them all! He had insight and professionalism, and great tact with some sensitive family situations. He also has a great sense of humor, and helped with all of our music and planning questions. Matt Martindale was a wonderful DJ at Our wedding in Estes Park Colorado. We got married at Della Terra Chateau on September 14 2010. Matt wasn’t just our DJ he was also my wedding planner in many ways. He gave me references for caters, florists, bakers, Ministers and dance instructors. Everyone he recommended was a part of my special day. He gave me advice on where to start. When I first met with him, I had nothing planned except the date and location. It was 6 months until our wedding date. I had no clue what I was doing or where to start.
Matt played my music for the ceremony and reception. Every song flowed so beautifully. He faded each song as I asked. There was never an awkward moment or silence the whole day. I received so many compliments on my DJ. He announced everything all day perfect.
Everyone he recommended was wonderful. I had some issues with my Caterer. He went above and beyond to make the situation resolved. The food was amazing.
I don’t know what I would have done without Matt as my DJ. I would have not got my wonderful day at all without Matt Martindale. Thank you, Matt for my perfect Wedding Day.

My wife and I contracted with Matt for our Wedding in Estes Park in September of 2010. From our initial meeting to post event follow-up, Matt was professional and diligent. Matt exhibited extraordinary attention to detail and excellent technical proficiency. Matt was more than willing to tailor his services to our specific needs and desired and always made us feel as though his primary interest was our satisfaction and not his bottom line. In addition to all the typical DJ services, Matt had a robust library of ideas for engaging the crowd and providing unique reception moments.
On the day of the event, Matt was punctual, precise and professional. The event ran smoothly and everything was executed per our plan. The special efforts Matt made to remain organized and communicate clearly paid off.
As a special surprise to me, my wife wanted to sing the opening portion of our first dance song to me and start the dance together after the first chorus. Matt took this request in stride, despite the late notice. Matt found multiple versions of our special song and stitched them together to allow for the transition from instrumental to the original, radio version. This effort was definitely the icing on the cake for our evening.

Matt of Amore DJ Entertainment was our DJ for our wedding and was absolutely amazing. He had great suggestions for our wedding that ended up being the "hits" of the evening and he kept everyone dancing and have a great time. Matt was extremely classy - he was the MC of Events for the evening and kept everything running smoothly. I think he always responded within the same day to questions we had, even when he was crazy busy, which is absolutely unheard of! When we first met Matt, we knew that we needed to hire him immediately, but he went far beyond our expectations that evening. Matt did everything, and way more, than he said he would! We completely felt confident that he would do a great job from our very first meeting and left everything in his very capable hands. We heard at our first meeting, that he loves to let the Bride and Groom fully enjoy their day because he has a thorough, proven process and it works. He said he would take care of everything - and he did! All the small things that other DJs don't do from weddings we've been to in the past, he does. Fact #1) When Brides are asked what they want to remember about their wedding day 5 years from now, the typical response is: “that everyone had a great time;” “ people danced;” etc. Why? Because, no matter how perfect everything else is, people will always remember if they had a good time or not.
Fact #2) Over the last several years, we've asked our Brides, "what significance did the professional DJ you hired have in making your reception a total success?” Her response has been: “the DJ had at least an 80% responsibility” as to why her reception was a total success above and beyond anything else!
Fact #3) According to Modern Bride (2007), the average U.S. Bride spent $25,500 for her wedding. At 6 hours, for the ceremony and reception, that’s $4,250 per hour! Fortunately, it’s a little less here locally, but surprisingly, not by much. Locally, the average 2010 Bride will spend between $18K to $21K for her wedding in Colorado. Most quoted “Wedding Experts” suggest that a practical Bride should expect to spend 5% to 10% for QUALITY entertainment for her wedding. So, broken down based on that methodology, you should expect to pay for QUALITY entertainment:
5% of $18,000 = $900; 6% = $1,080; 7% = $1,260; 8% = $1,440; 9% = $1,620 and 10% = $1,800.
Simply put, a mere 5% of the average Bride’s total budget tends to be responsible for 80% of the
wedding reception’s total success!
Why are you more expensive than other DJs?
Quite honestly, we can’t speak for other DJs, but there are many factors that go into calculating our rate. First and foremost, is the cost of operating a legitimate business (constantly buying music for our extensive music libraries, state of the art computer system and professional sound gear, on site back up gear and music, insurance, ongoing professional development, advertising, marketing materials, etc.) In addition, Matt continues to hone his skills at countless conventions, workshops and seminars with other leading professional DJ Entertainers across America. Second, is the superior quality AND quantity of service we provide. Though we know that have superior quality, we also provide extensive quantity in the way of hours of pre-planning, coordination and experience that is simply unmatched in the area. We also have chosen to limit our productions to only one event per day – period! This is simply a function of showing our commitment to giving each of our Brides 100% of our focused service.
Lastly, it’s the final results we create. This is a once in a lifetime celebration! We know, that you want a truly unforgettable, romantic, elegant and fun wedding celebration...and that’s what we do!

#2) Did you have to leave any messages or emails? If so, were they immediately returned?
#3) Was any requested information sent immediately after you called or emailed?
#4) Do they have regular office hours?
#5) Were you offered a meeting in person any time (day or night), even on site?
#6) Did you receive a follow up call and/or letter to make sure the information was received and to see if you
had any questions?
#7) Are they easy to reach when you need them? (If they’re hard to reach now, what’s it going to be like the
week of your wedding?
#8) What was the overall quality of the material received? (Was it just a cheesy brochure or intentionally vague
material or was it elegant - showing professionalism and that they care about your wedding?)
