We hired Casey as our DJ for our outdoor wedding reception. My husband originally did not want a DJ because he is very selective in the type of music he likes and he doesn't like typical "cheesy" wedding DJ's. After convincing him that we needed a DJ, both him and I were extremely pleased with DJ Casey from Amos Productions.

First off, it is extremely easy to meet, hire, and book your DJ through the office manager (Marissa) at Amos Pro. Marissa is quick to reply to questions, extremely friendly and so organized that I never had any last minute worries about the DJ.

Casey was a fantastic DJ. Not cheesy at all, listened to what kind of music we wanted played, was great at reading the crowd to determine what type of music to play, and was flexible when we added a few last minute songs at the last minute to our "must play list".

I would recommend Amos Pro (specifically DJ Casey) to any bride/groom.

Aaron was awesome! He moved the wedding along and he even helped gathering our relatives to take photos with us!
After the wedding, my guests were all happy (including FILs) with Aaron's service. He is funny, courteous, and wonderful to work with. He helped us come up with questions to give away our center pieces. Even with a very low-key group like ours (majority older chinese adults), he was able to elders get on the dance floor and shake their bo*dies!

I am soooooooooooooo glad that we hired Aaron instead of a Jazz band!

Our wedding theme was Island Casual, so when I met Aaron D. I couldn't wait for my fiance to meet him. I already knew, even without the formal meeting that he would be the DJ/MC for us. After our meeting he was hired.

We wanted our reception of 300 people to flow smoothly, have lots of dancing and fun. With Aaron by our side he made that all happen. He was very attentive to all our wishes and needs plus more. He kept everyone on the dance floor for hours and that's what we wanted.

We have had nothing but great comments about his professionalsim and energy. We made the best choice possible by chossing Amos Productions and Aaron.

Unbelievably great quality on the videos they took during the wedding. They recorded all the important moments and they never went for a break, even when we insisted.

DJ Rick kept the party going at our wedding and everyone of all ages was happy with his selection! We had a fabulous time and so did our guests. DJ Steve P from Amos Productions and the whole Amos team were great. They catered to our every need and exceeded all of my requests. They were overbooked and gave us a level 3 DJ for the price of a level 2 DJ making the night even better! I needed a guitar set up for a groomsman to sing our first dance and they sound checked him before the reception and it went flawlessly. DJ Steve P was interactive and let people know about the upcoming reception events/dances and he did so in a positive way. He was friendly, looked great, and had fun with us while maintaining professionalism. He is everything we wanted and more.I would highly recommend Amos and Steve for the job! They were great!

We had Rick and he was so awesome! He was so much fun and listened to everything we wanted. We had so many requests and he never acted annoyed or like he felt overwhelmed. We highly recommend them!

Steven P was the DJ for my small at-home, outdoor, wedding reception. The crowd was generally over 50, yet he engaged them beautifully. He was flexible and helpful, and added some recommendations to our play list that were perfect. He truly made this a memorable evening for us and our guests were wowed.

My wife and I got married back in July and had the opportunity to work Amos Productions. Specifically, we worked with Rob and could not have been happier. Rob met with us several times in the months leading up to the wedding and provided us with a great deal of insight as for how to plan our reception.The day of the event, Rob was absolutely amazing. Amos Production was everything that my husband and I hope for at our wedding. We had an amazing DJ that was able to read the crowd and knew exactly how to keep everyone dancing all night long. Our Videographer (Ray) was also there blending in with the crowd capturing every special moment. Everyone we've talked to since our wedding in June 2011, has raved about the DJ's, Video Montage and Videographer. It's one thing to have the guests telling us how great it was (Which they all have) but when the entire staff at the venue tells you how great your DJ's are and that ours was the best party they've seen you know they're doing things right. The DJ and Videographer also kept us on our timeline and made sure everything was organize with the venue and the wedding party throughout the whole day. Rob was our DJ for our wedding a earlier this year. All I can say is he is AMAZING! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Jody was my DJ, he and his staff made my wedding perfect. The flow of the day was controled by him and the coordinator (which he has a great personality to work with) and it couldn't have went smoother. He listened to what we wanted and was so great to work with. I asked to have my guests on the dance floor as much as possible and that is exactly what happened. He is calm, organized, and very professional. His company set up our lighting and the ambiance was so romantic. If you want a fun, upbeat, take control dj/mc for the night, Amos is the DJ company. They are very professional and provide a great service. They are definitely worth the money . . . but aren't outrageously priced. They were willing to meet with me whenever I needed before my wedding and were very responsive to my emails and questions. The DJ we had for our wedding (John Varela) was great. He got the crowd going on the dance floor and I didn't even sit down once the music started. The dinner music was great and everyone said they loved it! He was a great MC as well. (Didn't butcher anyone's name . . . . :)) Call them for your next event!

Our wedding was awesome and one thing that added to it was a great MC Scott Heiden. Not only is he very funny but also very professional. Our DJ was also very good. You know how sometimes you feel like you have to fight with the DJ to get him to play a song or half the time he doesn’t have any of the songs you like. Well not at our wedding the DJ was very professional, had all the music we wanted and was on it when we asked for something. When looking for a DJ for our wedding, my wife and I read a lot of reviews before choosing Amos Production. It turned out to be a wonderful choice. Their professionalism was threw the roof. Our DJ was very clean cut, trust worthy, and he had a lot of great suggestions. The video production crew made the perfect video. My wife and I are so lucky to have chosen Amos Production. The music was great!! The dance floor was packed all night and I (the bride) was reluctant to leave the dance floor to go visit with people because the music was so good and I just wanted to dance!

We ended up using Jody the owner of Amos productions and he was worth every penny! He was absolutely amazing and not cheesy at all. He made the whole wedding from ceremony to reception flow perfectly and everyone at my wedding said he was the best dj they had ever seen at a wedding!

I am SO happy that we hired Rob to be the DJ for our wedding at Wente Vineyards. He was AMAZING!! He was so wonderful to work with and we danced the ENTIRE night! He has such a great sense of the crowd and what type of music to play. He also did a fantastic job at our ceremony and helped us to create a schedule for the entire night. When we got our invitations, the manufacturer forgot to include the envelope liners, and Jody quickly came to the rescue and made things right. He demonstrated that he truly cares about his clients and takes pride in his business. He was also always available if I had a question about dj services. As a whole, we have been so honored to work with Amos. They have everything down to a science and will truly do their best to ensure that your wedding day runs smoothly and flawless. AMOS was a one stop shop for us which made our wedding planning so much easier. We went to the open house and my husband and I immediately bonded with Hector, our DJ. He made us feel so comfortable and we knew he was the one we want for our DJ. He is familiar with our cultural needs (I am Filipino with a huge family-11 brothers & sisters). Our reception went so smooth and seamless coz of Hector. He took the time to meet with us and discuss our needs before the wedding day and to find out which songs are right for us. On our wedding day, the dance floor was packed and he kept everyone on the dance floor until the last minute...we even had to extend coz everyone was having so much fun and we couldn't stop the party :)) Jody personally made sure he checked up on us with frequent emails and even made our gobo design esp for us, which was another highlight of our wedding. Our videographer, Ricky, made us feel so at ease in front of the camera. He captured every moment of our special day. Ricky also did our photo montage for us in a few days and even had our highlights up on facebook 3 days after our wedding. We were able to view it online while we were in Thailand...it was just priceless. We also rented our uplights from Amos which made our venue look even more spectacular and very romantic. We had Amos Productions do everything for our wedding on Sunday at the Casa Real. Everything was perfect! They were all very professional! Josh the DJ was amazing, he had the party dancing all night. Our first encounter with Amos was at a wedding for one of my wife's friends. The DJ, Jeff Torres, was outstanding! I asked for a card, and a year later when my wedding was rolling around, I gave the card to my soon to be bride. From the first time she made contact with Amos, we were given the attention and dedication you would expect to see from true professionals. We chose to go with Jeff, since he put on a stellar performance at our friends' wedding. It was easy to get along with him and he came through with everything he said he would. I put together a moderately elaborate plan for the garder toss thing and Jeff did his part flawlessly!! My wife and I have been married for just over a year now, and we still receive comments on how amazing our wedding was and how great the garder toss was. Jeff kept the dance floor smoking all night and even manage to get in some of my favorite bands, like Metallica. Who would've thought you could play Metallica at a wedding? Well, he did, and it was AWESOME!! Jeff also did the longest married couples dance, which he worked over without missing a beat. These guys are the best, incredibly professional, reliable and FUN!! You can't go wrong with Amos.

Rob went above and beyond his job for our wedding! He practically planned our wedding for us. Not only is he professional, but he is honest. He gave us his honest opinion and helped us plan our beautiful wedding. Rob made our wedding perfect, and we cannot tank him enough.

My wife and I were married in July 2009, and only had a weekend earlier that year to meet with possible DJ companies for our wedding. But finding a company that could match the style we wanted, while working out the details from across the country proved easy once we met with Rick at Amos. Other companies we met with wanted to show off what they could do, and suggest one gimmick after another, but Amos just listened to what we wanted. We knew going in that we wanted to hand feed the DJ the entire selection of music for the whole day, and that it would be his/her job to blend in to the background and just make sure everything was seamless. Rick the DJ, and Ricky the videographer provided that flawlessly. Rick even made a diving save of a speaker when a gust of wind nearly toppled it as our wedding ceremony was beginning. Folks....that's skill. In the months after the wedding, everyone at Amos collaborated on how we wanted the DVD formatted, including what it could have besides the footage. As a finished product, the DVD had a beautiful menu page with a song we chose, the image of our invitation, and even still photos that we provided. I also designed a cover that was easily emailed to them, and Amos printed it for us. Whether you are preparing for a wedding or other event in Northern California or far away as we were, Amos will meet your needs. We have had several of the Amos Pro guys DJ different parties for us and all of them have been amazing. For our wedding we had Jody and Josh and they were fabulous. They were extremely professional and put on a great party. The dance floor was packed the entire night. Josh was able to play the songs I wanted as well as mix in requests from the guest. I will continue to use Amos for all of my future parties as well as recommend them to all of my friends.

Rob from Amos Productions was the best part of our wedding! He made the evening flow so perfectly and never made us feel rushed or pressured. His calm demeanor was amazing, and I wouldn't be surprised if he is already booked throughout this year because he is absolutely amazing!!!!

I would highly recommend Amos Productions to any bride for their wedding. We hired Casey as our DJ (level 2) and were extremely pleased with his professionalism and his ability to make music change decisions based on the response from the reception crowd. Our guests even commented how much they liked DJ Casey because he listened to their requests. My husband and I both wanted a DJ that wasn't "cheesy" and Casey was definitely not a cheesy DJ. Aaron from Amos Productions was our DJ for the ceremony music and the reception music. We met with him once before the wedding and kept in touch with him throughout our wedding planning. He was great at responding to questions through email and phone. We liked how he incorporated our favorite songs into the ceremony and into the reception. Overall, he made us feel comfortable that the life of the party was in his hands. During the reception, he was awesome. He made sure that all the events that would take place during the reception (wedding party intros, cake cutting, bouquet/garter toss) were organized. Aaron definitely kept things 'in order' and 'in line.' Our reception events were running late, but Aaron was able to fit everything in, without leaving anything out, and without making our wedding seem unorganized or rushed. All of our guests were amazed that our wedding was just so organized...thanks to the planning and Aaron as our DJ/MC. All of our guests had so much fun dancing to the music Aaron provided. I recommend Aaron from Amos Productions. If all the DJ/MC are like Aaron at Amos Productions, then I recommend Amos Productions :)

Rob Mutzl was our DJ for our wedding and he was just wonderful. Rob took charge of the entire reception and my husband and I did not even have to worry one bit about how everything flowed. He was very professional and made changes on the fly so that we made sure that all of our special dances and events fit into our timeline. The music selections were great and he kept the dance floor packed. We loved working with Rob and would recommend him to anyone getting married in the bay area.

They went over and above to create a perfect video of our life together prior to the wedding and captured all of the details of our special day.

We hired Rob Mutzl from Amos Productions and were very, very happy with our choice. At most of the wedding I have been to the dance floor starts to clear over the last hour of so of the reception. We did not have this take place at all. The floor was packed all night and, when the lights finally turned up and the music stopped there was a resounding "Awww!" across the floor. Everyone had a great time and Rob was fantastic. Our only gripe was that somehow "the time of our lives" was played as our last song ... Neither of us would have ever chosen that song, EVER. No worries though, it just made it a little more memorable.

Amos production is simply the best. The are all professionals, and have different levels of DJs to fit your style and your budget.We were lucky enough to have DJ Rob emcee our wedding, and in a word he was amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding day, and Rob certainly exceeded our expectations. Not that I would encourage this, but even with our procrastination, Rob not only was able to honor all of our requests, but did so in such a professional manner that you would have thought he planned it for weeks. He knew exactly how to read the crowd, and was great at keeping everyone out on the dance floor, during fast songs and even the slow songs! We highly recommend DJ Rob, and any of the Amos production staff, for any event your might have, and can't wait to come up with an excuse to have him host again!

Amos was amazing, Marissa and Kelly were so wonderful to work with, they were always available to discuss what I wanted and made sure that everything was perfect for me. We used Jeff T. as our DJ, he followed the schedule to a T, played all of the music we had requested, and then some! We just received our wedding DVD and both my husband and cried while watching it, they did a great job with it. I would DEFINITELY recommend them.

Aaron Dalugdug from Amos Productions was a great DJ and MC for our wedding in July! He kept the party going all night, and everyone there said it was the most fun dancing at a wedding that they had ever had! Aaron was extremely nice to work with and played all of our requested songs perfectly and was able to read the crowd to make sure that the party flowed really well. There were a few moments during the wedding that things started to get a little slow and Aaron faded flawlessly out of one song into another to keep things going. I would highly recommend him for any event!

Our DJ was Hector and he was so fun. Many of our guests told us how much they liked him and wanted to know how we found him. He created a fun evening for everyone and took great care to make sure we had everything we needed and had nothing to worry about. He delivered on his promise to make sure our night ran smoothly so that we could relax and enjoy ourselves. He also worked well with all our other vendors that night.

When my husband and I first started searching for DJs a little over one year ago, I turned to Yelp for reviews. Complete stellar remarks about both Amos and Rob Mutzl, and both went above and beyond for our September 4 wedding at Ruby Hill Golf Club.\r\n\r\nWith Amos, we booked for DJ, Projector/Screen, and Up-lighting (Jody Amos was kind enough to throw in some up-lighting into our package with everything we had booked with them): Everything was perfect and we couldn\'t have asked for more!\r\n\r\nAnd then we come to our DJ. Rob Mutzl is one of the best out there. When we went into our final meeting, we were a mess. We were 2 weeks out from the big day, and had very little taken care of. Rob made it very easy for us, and guided us through the process. Come wedding day, he helped mic our ceremony (we had a string quartet for music), and as for the reception - I can\'t even begin to talk about the level of expertise he brought to the event. He created an evening that we will remember and treasure for a lifetime - and for two people who hate to dance, he created an evening that was fun and light (and, honestly, minimized dancing time). Which brings me to my favorite \"Rob\" moment from wedding planning:\r\n\r\nRob: \"So, just curious, on a scale from 1-10 (10 being the most), how much do you two love to dance?\"\r\n\r\nUs: \"Umm...2?\"\r\n\r\nRob: \"ALRIGHTY THEN!\"\r\n\r\nAll this being said, he knows how to listen to his couples to find out their styles and how they want to remember their wedding day. You will not be disappointed by Rob as your DJ!

Hector with Amos Productions was amazing. When you are budgeting yourself for the music at your wedding, you might want to consider spending more in this area than in most others. The music will set the mood, carry the excitement, and stay in the guest's memory for a long time. Hector is very experienced, professional, has a great sense of humor, and deals great with ambiguity very well. He will not only make sure that guest's are enjoying the music being played, but he handles the way in which all of the events flow from one moment to the next. You don't realize how many things need to take place in such a short amount of time (all the special dances, cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter belt, etc.) and the last thing you want to worry about is whether or not things are running on time. Hector takes away these stressful factors, and creates such a smooth flow of things that the guests don't even realize there is a time-line. Everything at the wedding was how we pictured it. The only thing I would recommend is that if you want certain songs played (must play list NO MATTER WHAT), like if you really have your heart set on certain tunes you need to make that very clear or else you may not hear them on your wedding day... Amos Productions was recommended to us by a family friend and since the the day I met our DJ (Aaron) I knew they were the right choice. Not only were the prices very reasonable compared to the other companies I met with, Aaron was very friendly, knowledgeable, and ethustastic about his job!

Our venue has a preferred vendor list and Amos was one of them. They sent out a special lighting package for our venue which I thought was a reasonable price. I contacted them and asked if I could get a customized package since I was only looking for some uplighting and breakout pattern (nothing too elaborate). They were willing to work with my budget and so I decided to contract with them. I booked them early on, and when it was getting closer to the wedding, I still had not heard from them regarding choosing the color and the breakout pattern. I contacted them and apparently the person that I was working with was no longer with the company. I ended up working directly with Jody, the owner, who was very nice and helpful. On the day of, they came and setup and the lights were beautiful. They also worked very seamlessly, I didn't even know when they came to setup and when they did the breakdown, all I knew was I had beautiful lighting and it was gone by the time I left the venue :)

Steve and Hugo did a wonderful job djing our wedding. We needed our music to be 50% Spanish music and 50% English music the mix worked out great the dance floor was never empty. Friends and Family including myslef had sore legs and feet the days after the wedding from dancing the night away! Thanks for a memorible night.

My wife and I used Amos Productions for our wedding this past September and after we had decided to pay the extra money for a Level 3 DJ, which is the highest level of experience you can get unless you book the owner of the company, Jeff was assigned as our DJ. Our experience with Amos was very mixed and left us very disappointed. We went through the planning process and felt very confident in Jeff. We loved the planning tools that Amos provided to outline the details and preferences for your wedding day. We filled them out very carefully to ensure all of our desires were known. We met with Jeff the Tuesday before our wedding and went through every detail of the wedding from the pronunciation of names for everyone involved to all the details of the wedding from beginning to end including what we did and did not want. We left the meeting very confident in Jeff and felt that choosing Amos was one of our best vendor choices. Had this been our entire experience the rating would have been all 100 percent. Unfortunately, the execution on the day of the wedding was no where near the standards Amos had set during our wedding planning process. Let me begin by saying that everyone had a wonderful time at the reception and Jeff played a great selection of music. That being said there were numerous things that went wrong, beginning with the audio system, Amos provided for our ceremony. The speakers gave out a lot of feedback, which led Jeff to turn them off. The result, a vast majority of our friends and family could not hear any part of our ceremony including the vows we had written ourselves. Then the time for time for the reception came and the details that we had discussed with him fell apart. These are the details and requests that were missed or forgotten during our reception:1. During the grand entrances, he pronounced my mother-in-laws last name wrong.2. Amos provides you with worksheets where you can list your ‘Must Play’ songs. We spent a lot of time filling this out and our ‘Must Play’ list was not all played, which kind of defeats the purpose of a ‘Must Play’ list. 3. He forgot that we had bells to ring in order to get us to kiss instead of the traditional tapping of the glasses.4. He didn’t announce that we had specially chosen our parents table names after their firsts dances (Our tables were love songs that were made to release the tables).5. The slideshow we had made was started part of the way into the actual slideshow, so our guests never got to see the beginning of the show we made.6. The song I chose for the garter removal was changed before I even removed the garter.7. He suggested doing a large circle around us for our last dance during the meeting we had. We specifically said we did not want our last dance organized this way and yet this is still the way he did it during our reception. 8. To top it all of he pronounced my wife’s, THE BRIDES, name wrong. Come on…All of these items were specifically addressed in our meeting with Jeff on the Tuesday before out wedding. He clearly did not bring his notes from our meeting to our wedding, which made me and my wife wonder what the purpose of the meeting was at all. We were very disappointed that while we carefully planned every aspect of the wedding and gave attention to every detail, he did not. After reading all the great review and our great experience with the planning process, we were left feeling disappointed after our wedding.

Aaron was the best DJ I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Rest assured, he will be recommended to all my family, friends and colleagues who are planning a special event! "BRAVO!" Our organization, National Charity League of Saratoga/Los Gatos has used Amos Production’s services for our Senior Recognition event for the past several years. We had them prepare a voice over reflection for each girl, a video montage and DJ our event. I found them to be prompt and approachable for every little request we had. Our event involved mothers and daughters and we say it’s like having 22 “Mothers of the Bride” and Jody and his team managed to keep them all happy. This letter is really long over due. Even though our wedding with Hector Duron was just over a month ago I wanted to write a complimentary letter for his services at least 6 months ago. Hector really did go above and beyond for us for over a year!
I don't know if you recall the email/ Thanksgiving card I had sent you last Nov. after my visit to your open house back in August of 07'. I was really impressed. I had heard great things of Amos through friends and The Knot. Your open house was my one and only! I seriously had told my fiancé at the time "not to worry, that I wasn't going to sign anything or put down anything non refund able!" I was very impressed with the entire staff. Marissa had pretty much explained everything and everyone perfectly.
Hector Duron was the first DJ I had met and he should have been my last. I just needed to see for myself what the different levels and prices were all about. Hector had sold me. I left there with complete confidence that I had just put money down and signed for my Best Wedding Investment!
When I went home and told my fiancé that the DJ/ Masters of Ceremonies was taken care of. Immediately of course his first question was how much? I told him that I have complete confidence in this guy and it would be worth it. He has already put my mind at ease and taken away some of my stress! I was Never worried.
From The Day I Met Hector- He Was There For His Client. He came to our home where the wedding was to take place, met my now husband, (Greg), saw the layout of the property, got to see where he would set up, and met half of the groomsmen. We went through everything, and unless you've done this before, YOU HAVE NO IDEA what it involves! We picked out almost all of the music. He had been there so long we had to insist he have lunch. Hector was so patient, professional and polite! I would change my mind constantly on certain songs, even until the day before the wedding! THIS Is Key* Hector IS SO GOOD at what he does and LISTENING in to what his clients want and like, he was even able to pick certain songs for us!
I would call, text and email him venting with all kinds of wedding issues! Hector NEVER let me down. He would constantly reassure me not to worry. He is a brides best friend and that takes a lot of heat off the groom! My husband will never know exactly how much venting Hector heard from me but that's ok. We both know now, that Hector Duron was our best investment!
The day of the wedding Hector was perfect! Nothing but professional. He looked so nice he should have been in our wedding photos! He would even remind me how much time I had with the photographers so I would be sure to get certain shots! Who does that ?!? The photographers didn't even do that for me!

We were >>VERY<< impressed with Maurice.
As the first real song started, the kids got a little wild with the break dancing - feet flying around all the little ones - it looked real scary there for a second or two. So Maurice quickly killed the music, and took immediate control of the situation. I guess there were a 3 or 4 wild kids in the crowd. I was very impressed with his ability to keep them entertained and under control. The kids didn't seem to mind either. I'm sure that with a lesser DJ it would have been a mess. I received several complements from the adults and kids regarding Maurice's performance. I was asked by a couple kids later that evening for his contact information. One of Adam's best friends said it was the best party he'd ever been to.

I was also impressed with his choice of music. When we told him that we didn't have any good ideas for the 13 candles or the Mom/Son dance, he came up with some very nice music suggestions.

He was refered to us by Adam when Adam attended Zoe's Bat Mitzvah. Adam made a good choice. I'm glad we picked him.
