Amy Lynn did the hair and makeup for my wedding, and did a fantastic job! She is so nice to work with, and so laid back. She arrived right on time(literally knocked on the door at 8:30 am sharp), and did great staying on schedule with all the bridesmaids through out the morning. I got so many compliments on my hair, she gave me exactly what I asked for and all I did was show her a picture. My makeup was perfect and It stayed on all night long, with absolutely no problem.

Not only is Amy Lynn an extremely talented make-up and hair artist, she is a very sweet person who is so easy to talk to about anything and everything. I could not have asked to look better on my wedding day. I have had SO MANY compliments on how natural and beautiful my make-up was as a bride. We met for a consultation, had so much fun just talking about life and getting to know each other, and when I looked up I was absolutely stunned at how glamorous I looked! For my Wedding Day I knew I would be in excellent hands and for someone who doesn't wear makeup hardly ever it can be really nerve racking to give up all control of your face - Not with Amy Lynn. I didn't have to touch up all day, just lipstick/gloss naturally which she left with me to re-apply, and I had girlfriends asking me from morning until night, right before getting in our car to head to the honeymoon hotel, who did my makeup - Amazing! The make up looked flawless and help up perfectly all night without making my face feel gooey or caked with makeup. My hair looked stunning and also held up beautifully all night ensuring that I didn't have to worry about it falling down or flopping in my face. Everything felt and looked wonderful both that night and in the pictures! Amy Lynn is so fun to work with- a very funny and light spirited lady- she fit right in with all the girls! For our wedding, I went the complete do-it-yourself route. I mean, everything, and I loved the freedom and creativity that brought. However, there was one piece to the puzzle that made me nervous: my make-up. This fear shook me, as I've never even paid someone for a manicure, much less to paint my face... but I had to admit that I had no clue about how to prepare myself to be photographed in all that professional lighting. Let's not even talk about trying to get my daily cheapo regimen to last the whole day. Not kidding-- my face was the only thing I was nervous about! Ok. Enter Amy Lynn. She was referred by another Nashville bride, so I figured she was worth my time to contact, right? So so so right. After our initial coffee-shop visit, my mind was at ease. I knew I could trust her. The minute she walked in, I knew that if she even made me up like she did for herself everyday, I'd be ecstatic. She wasn't overdone, but was still glowing. I'm telling you, that's a good sign!

You know what makes a great vendor in my mind? They're good at what they do AND they're willing to be real people with you. Amy Lynn was so awesome to work with! Never once did I feel intimidated by her expertise. For the consultation, she actually met me at the church so we could be prepared for the lighting. People were streaming in and out, and she rolled with the punches. We talked, we laughed, and I walked away with a redeemed sense of confidence about it all. What peace I felt!

The day of the wedding, she met me at my hotel bright and early. She was completely prepared for everything I could throw her way (not literally, of course)! Her finished product could not have been any closer to what I asked for. She nailed it. i had complete coverage without looking cakey, and had definition to my face but still managed to look natural. She's a queen at balance, I tell ya. The pictures say it all. I wish you could see. My mother-in-law still claims that she has never seen me look so beautiful. I know that I've never felt as much so.
