Amy was absoultey wonderful to work with for my wedding this past December. She did such an amazing job on my makeup, and really worked with me to achieve the look I was going for. We had fun doing the trial session before my bridal shower. It was a great way to try it out first. Amy also did makeup for 3 bridesmaids and my Mother, who all looked beautiful. My best friend is very specific about how she likes her makeup done, and actually took a picture of her eyes after Amy worked her magic so she could try to replicate the look. I would suggest Amy to anyone with their big day coming up - it's a great way to relax for a bit on a day that is quite emotional and busy! Thanks Amy, for making me look gorgeous for my wedding.

Her joyful personality, makeup and hair skills and spirit of partnership in working to make me beautiful for my day, took away my stress and concern and allowed me to be beautiful all day without worrying about my makeup and hair which survived a day of heavy rain. Amy and her assistant did a wonderful job doing hair and makeup for me, my four bridesmaids, my Mom and my Mother-In-Law for my wedding. They were both really friendly and got everyone done in a timely manner. It was so nice to be able to have fun and relax while getting ready at home before the ceremony. Everyone (including myself) loved their makeup/hairstyles and I would have Amy do my hair and makeup for any formal occasion in the future. Thanks Amy for making my wedding day extra special!

Amy was my makeup artist for our wedding in Vancouver last August and she did my hair and makeup for our rehearsal dinner too. I can’t recommend her enough. I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted for the wedding day so she recommended pulling together photos from magazines and then went through them with me to discuss what I liked about them. She was happy to explore different looks with me at the trial and talked me through different options. I absolutely loved my makeup on the wedding day -it really was perfect. I would highly recommend using Amy for hair and/or makeup for any special event and will defiantly use her again for future special events.

Amy Pedersen did an excellent job of my hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaid, my mother and my mother in law. she was able to do all of us by herself in under six hours. her work was well appreciated. I especially loved how she stayed and followed me through our pictures session to make sure that my hair and makeup stayed beautiful! it was an amazing feeling to be pampered the whole day of my wedding. Amy is a freelance Makeup Artist based out of Vancouver, BC, Canada. After secondary school, Amy studied psychology and fine arts at university, but felt she was not successfully expressing herself creatively. With the love and support from her family and friends, she decided to put her studies on hold to pursue her creative side. After much research, Amy enrolled in the renowned Blanche MacDonald Center's Makeup Artistry Diploma program. As a professionally trained makeup artist and hair stylist, Amy brings her skillful touch and perfectionist qualities to every face she enhances. After meeting Amy, you immediately see that Amy is passionate about what she does. Amy believes in bringing the individual beauty out in everyone and building their confidence. Her warm and enthusiastic personality has allowed her to travel with her work, taking her to destinations of France, Australia and Los Angeles.
