An Event To Remember
I am very happy and pleased to have used Vicki with An Event To Remember as my daughter's wedding planner. For a very small fee, she organized and planned the event, but did so much more to include keeping the bride on schedule with frequent reminders to buy and bustle the wedding dress, rent tuxes, and prepare wedding vows. She went above and beyond what I had thought or expected so that I wouldn't be overwhelmed or worry about anything at all, taking the bride around to try on dresses and buy decorations, making numerous phone calls to get quotes on the best deals and discounts for pictures, flowers, venue, etc. as well as setting up and taking her to appointments, typing and mailing out the wedding invitations in advance, preparing and printing the wedding program/bulletin and coordinating and setting up the order of the service with the bride and groom, their parents, wedding party, officiate/pastor, and musicians. Her pleasant attitude, enthusiasm, energy, stamina, professionalism, and creativity were incredible. I was also impressed with her frugality and connections with friends and businesses to borrow or rent items and negotiate remarkable deals in an effort to keep cost down. She paid particular attention to detail, from the rehearsal right into the special wedding ceremony and reception. She took care of all the logistics and did her best to make everything as stress-free as possible for us. Her ideas and suggestions were invaluable as to saving as much as we could and still having a first class affair. I would highly recommend her to anyone who has any doubts as to what they need and can afford and still have a very beautiful wedding. The most incredible thing is that she did all of this with only two months of preparation and planning! Vicki is truly an amazing and extremely organized and efficient wedding planner!

A: Vendors may promise to act as your wedding coordinator for the evening but they will still need to rely on you for direction. A wedding planner will know ahead of time what you want, so your only job will be to enjoy yourself on your wedding day. Q: The reception site we have chosen has a wedding specialist or coordinator; do I still need a wedding planner?

The reception hall’s wedding specialist will not assist in any of the planning process prior to the wedding; therefore she will not fully understand your vision of your perfect wedding day. Most reception halls over "packages" and will not necessarily be unique to you. Typically the wedding specialist is present just to ensure that the site is safe, well kept, and to oversee their food service staff. He/She will not be directing the ceremony or reception. At some locations, a wedding specialist is overseeing numerous weddings at one time. Therefore, it's very important to have a wedding coordinator there for you.
Q: Can I afford to hire a wedding and event planner?
A: Absolutely! An Event to Remember has carefully developed packages that are competitive yet affordable. A wedding planner can offer creative ideas to save you valuable time and money. Any of our packages may be customized to include the services that best suit your needs. You cannot afford to not hire a planner.

A: Yes. A wedding professional will provide you with the high quality level of service that you deserve. Even though our family members have good intentions; they do not have as much experience as a wedding professional. We are there solely to keep the event on track and to make sure the day runs smoothly.
Q: How do I choose which wedding and event planner to hire?
A: You must have a good relationship with your planner and be able to get along with your planner. You will be spending a lot of time with the consultant while planning one of the most important days in your life. You need to choose a consultant that you can trust, be open and honest with, and share laughter. It is wise to request a free initial consultation or to meet a consultant at a bridal show before making your final decision.
