Ana Molinari Salon

Ana Molinari staff did an absolutely amazing job on my Bridal Party hair and makeup. Couldn't be happier with it!! I would DEFINITELY recommend this salon for weddings. Incredibly friendly staff and they did great work! I can't wait for my next event so I can get my airbrush makeup done again! :D

We had made 10+ mani/pedi appointments at this salon for our wedding party and friends the day before our wedding. I had spoken with the salon over 3 times to confirm the appointments and had communicated that we all wanted mani/pedis which they said was $45. Being from Chicago where you can get a mani-pedi for 28 dollars this didn't seem too bad. I had also spoken with other smaller salons which were around the same price. Given that we started with 6 girls, they promised a 10% discount which I repeated back to them would be 40.50 per girl for both. They claimed they were bringing in enough people to accomodate our party since it had grown to 10 plus a flower girl. We spent just shy of 6 hours at the salon that Friday waiting for everyone to finish and I and others had to rush to make the rehearsal. Additionally, they wanted to charge us $70 for both which is absurd. The staff was incredibly rude to me and my friends including the manager/owner. I understand that it may have been a miscommunication from the beginning, I assumed given the amount of business and competitors pricing that $70 seemed way more than what was reasonable. I was literally being yelled at by one of the employees and the manager proceeded to yell at me because one of the girls wanted to change hers to only a pedicure given the significant price increase. I have never been treated like this as a customer in any sort of establishment and they were only willing to knock of 3 dollars to "meet in the middle." The manager claimed that contracts are usually sent out for this volume of business however that was neither here nor there as they never provided me with a contract or any confirmation. In fact, I had to follow up with them to confirm times for each girl's appointments. This added so much stress to myself and others on a day that should have been fun for everyone getting together for an out of town wedding.

Fabiola and her team did agreat job for our wedding. Fabiola was great and responsive when having to arrange for additional services at another location. The stylists came to our room at the resort and everyone was pleased with their hair and make- up. I received so many compliments on my hair and make-up. Defintiely go for the airbrush make up and fake eye lashes! Their team listens to your requests and makes you feel beautiful!

Kelly did an AMAZING job with my hair and each of my 6 bridesmaids were happy with theirs. She's cool and fun to be around but most importantly, really captured exactly what I was envisioning for my hair. It's a bit more pricey than other salons in the area, especially since I did a trial and my hair the day of, but for me it was absolutely worth it and not an area you want to cut back. Coordinating our schedule with the salon via email was a breeze.

I HIGHLY recommend Kelly for your hair and makeup. She is a vivacious woman that is not only fun to hang with, but made me absolutely beautiful for my biggest day! I am a customer for life for she is a master in the field. Now, she will make me beautiful for years to come too!

Ana Monlinari Salon did hair and make-up for myself and my bridal party for all of our wedding events. Ana, Kelly and Mary were amazing and helped make everything so easy. Not only did they do a wonderful job making us all feel pampered and beautiful, they also helped take care of little details such as steaming our dresses. We could not have asked for a better experience, and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Kelly Anne McGraw did my hair and makeup for my wedding at selby gardens and she did and absolutely amazing job! Everyone loved my look and my pictures came out stunning, couldn't have happened without kelly's great makeup work.

My mother-in-law and a bridesmaid cancelled their hair and make-up appointments the day of the wedding. I was going to have to pay for their appointments but a few bridesmaids (who originally were only going to get their hair done) stepped in and agreed to have their makeup done. The salon was VERY flexible in rearranging the appointments to make it all work. I am still SO thankful that the morning went so smoothly.

The staff was very friendly. They allowed my bridesmaids to bring champagne and orange juice into the salon. Then, the staff helped us order lunch that was brought into and eaten at the salon.

I loved my hair & makeup trial. I brought in a few pictures and my hair stylist made my hair look exactly how I wanted. Then, she was able to replicated it perfectly on my wedding day. It was a bit expensive BUT we all loved how we looked!

Overall, I had a very positive experience working with Ana Molinari salon and would recommend this salon to brides to be.

I worked with the Ana Molinari Salon in Sarasota for my bridal and wedding party hair and make-up. They have a dedicated Bridal and Special Events Coordinator, Fabiola Beckmann, who I worked with to schedule the services on the wedding day and the trial appointment. The day before the wedding I added hair appointments for 4 flower girls and Fabiola was able to add another hair stylist to the schedule.

My hair stylist was Kelly Anne and she did an amazing job on my hair. She was extremely professional, but fun and trendy! I showed her a few pictures that I liked and she created an even better style on me! Kelly was punctual, patient, and absolutely fantastic to work with. I was so happy to have her styling my hair on the wedding day! I received so many compliments on my hair at the wedding!

My make-up artist was Ricky and she made me look beautiful. I tried the airbrush make-up and it was very impressed with how the color evened out my skin tone, but also blended in with my coloring! As part of the make-up service, everyone can get false eyelashes. I had never tried false lashes before, but I used them on the day and they were fabulous! Ricky did an awesome job with my make-up!

Everyone at the wedding and all my friends on facebook – commented on how stunning I looked on my wedding day. I have to say a huge thank you to Kelly and Ricky for helping me look gorgeous!!!!

Only one issue to note with scheduling- a month and a half before the wedding, I emailed and asked that my Dad’s wife be added to the schedule, she was not added to the schedule until 3 days before the wedding. I would recommend confirming your schedule a week or so before the event.

I worked with Fabiola to set up the appointments with all the bridesmaids and guests, and the services they needed. She did a great job with getting everyone that needed the services. The response time could have been a little quicker, but other than that, I was satisfied with her professionalism. Eri did a great job with Makeup, everyone loved her work. Frederick, did a great job with the hair updos that she worked on. There were a few other girls, I don't recall their names, but they did an ok job with hair, and the guests commented that they really werent' very friendly.

Kelly Anne did my hair for my wedding. She also did all of my bridesmaids, mother and mother in laws updoes. She was fantastic! She was very accommodating which helped take a lot of stress out of my wedding day. She did a great job on everyones hair and we were all very happy with her services. I would definitely recommend her for any wedding!

I had the most wonderful wedding dress shopping experience next door at La Mariee Haute Couture Bridal Salon so it was almost a no-brainer to go to Ana Molinari for my wedding day hair and make-up. I was a long distance bride (from Los Angeles) and was very nervous about trusting a stranger to do my hair and make-up. Fabiola was wonderful and communicated with me long distance. I had a perfect trial run a few days before my wedding and they repeated their perfection on my wedding day. I've never looked or felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day thanks to Frederique and Eri. Frederique was like a magician with my hair - so fast and so creative! Eri did my make-up as well as airbrush some tattoos off my back. She was so much fun and made me look flawless! They kept me on time and more importantly, I truly couldn't have been happier with how I looked thanks to them!

My makeup and hair came out really good. The girls who did the services were really nice & did a great job. I don't think I would want to refer anyone to go to this salon, unfortunately. When I showed up for my makeup trial at the downtown location; they seemed to have forgot I was coming. I sat around for 15minutes, and they asked if I could go to Lakewood ranch, that's fine, but already went out of my way, and that's another 30minutes in the car. The owner does not know what good customer service is if she wants returning clients. She was sitting there, and didn't offer anything...On the morning of my wedding, the salon called & said we needed to be there at 11, our appointments were originally scheduled for 1:30. I had to pick someone up at the airport at 11; but they said just go directly to salon after. We were 'told' some people called in sick, so we had ONE hair stylist to do all four of us. The lady that was supposed to do my hair, that specializes in wedding updos was too busy, because she was doing a correction procedure on one of her 'regulars'. While I was pleased with the end result, this added extra stress & messed up the timeline of my wedding. When you screw something up so bad 2times, at least offer some compensation, if you want anyone to return. It only takes one bad experience normally, but I had two.

Dealing with the staff at Ana Molinari really added a considerable amount of stress to my wedding day. Everything took so much longer than was originally scheduled. No one on staff seemed to care that we were running late for the wedding. I should mention that they did do a great job with everyone's makeup, but the manicurist had the nerve to roll her eyes at me when I told her we needed to speed things up. The people at Ana Molinari do quality work, but I recommend that a bride double the time that they suggest to book and leave a buffer of more than three hours between when you will be leaving the salon and arriving at the ceremony venue. They are SO slow and really came across to me as not caring about whether or not I walked down the aisle on time. In short, talented makeup artists, but a risky salon to trust with one of the most important days in your life.

I planned a destination wedding to Sarasota and Ana Molinari Salon made it so easy for me. I want to thank the staff for their wonderful communication and delivery of outstanding services the day of my wedding. Thanks you again for everything!

Rachelle from the Longboat Key location did my hair and makeup for me and my girls on the day of the wedding as well as for my photo sessions. I've always had a tough time finding a stylist who listened to what I wanted done to my hair, until I met Rachelle. She took the time to listen to what I'd wanted to do for my hair and did a fantastic job with my makeup without it looking overly-done. We had such a great time; we still keep in touch now that I've moved to Vegas.

You have a choice of having your hair & makeup done at the salon, but I chose to have her come to the house.
