Reviews for Ana's Bridal Boutique

My daughter and I went to Ana's Bridal Boutique with my future daughter-in-law. Ana, the owner of the boutique, assisted us. She had an attitude from the beginning. When we asked for discounted or discontinued dresses she showed us the "side room" with dresses that were "50%" discounted. I was not happy with the way Ana was treating my future daughter-in-law who had found a "discontinued" dress that she loved and after she tried the dress on Ana flung it on the floor. Also, we had seen the price of the dress which was suppose to be 50% off the ticketed price and when she told us the price of the dress she had increased the price but then immediately said she would deduct $100.00.
I was so upset and disappointed with the actions of Ana I told her we had just started to look and were not ready to make a decision yet. When we left the store, I told my future daughter-in-law that she should never accept being treated in such a manner. We called Helene's (also in East Providence) where we were able to get an appointment a few hours later. We had a great lunch and recovered from our experience at Ana's Bridal Boutique. We went to Helene's and my future daughter-in-law was treated like a queen and purchased a dress within an hour.

I wouldn’t recommend Ana’s Bridal to my worst enemy. First, I went there to try on Bridal gowns. Don’t let them fool you by a “discount”.This is a permanent discount and a way for them to steal your money. They told me that they would lock me in at this great price, if I put a deposit of $100 down that day. I did, then heard horrible reviews from multiple people about the place, so decided to order my dress elsewhere, which ended up being cheaper than their discount. Maggie Sottero does not allow retailers to discount her dresses. I couldn’t use $100 towards anything else in the store, even though my bridesmaid’s dresses were ordered through them. We ordered in November. They said 3 months. Starting in February, I called asking when I should expect the dresses in. They gave me the run around every time I called. They said that China doesn’t manufacture in January. They blamed it on the company who makes the dresses. They had no idea when they would be in. I called about 4 times and kept getting the same answer. I had no confidence that the dresses would be in before the wedding. Then last Thurs I called for the 5th time. I was on the phone with them for at least 20 minutes who said she had no idea when they would be in, even though it’d been 5 months since we ordered. I asked them to call the manufacturer, they said they wouldn’t. A few hours later another sales girl called and said they arrived that day! Lies. They have had the dresses for months but messed up and never called me. Today, I called to ask if my MOH can pick up 4 out of 5 dresses. They told me we can’t pick up any of the dresses until the 5th dresses balance is paid in full in cash or money order. I work in the Financial Industry, this is a way to hide money, and they are doing something extremely illegal. I offered to pay for the balance over the phone with credit card, they said no. I have never been treated so poorly and with such disregard. The customer is never right at Ana’s.

I went to Ana's to lookfor a wedding gown and left feeling confused and deceived. When I told thestaff about the style and the budget I'm looking for, they found a few dressesfor me to try on. I found one that matched what I was looking for, but theytold me that dress was discontinued, so the only way to get it was to buy thesample dress at a discount. The sample dress was a size 14 and I'm a size 5/6,not to mention, the dress was a bit worn out with a few pieces falling off..They assured me if I go with this dress, they can alter it to my size and stillretain its original form. I put a deposit down, but after I left I started toreconsider. I did some research, andfirstly I found out that the dress was NOT discontinued by the maker. Secondly, I found most people don't recommendthat a bridal gown be taken in more than two sizes, and at most 4, especiallywith a gown like this with a lot of lace or embroidery. Lastly, the cost they quoted me to resize andfix the dress was as much or more than the discount they gave me. I called backthe next morning to cancel, and the girl who helped me on that day told me Iwas confused and she never told me the dress was discontinued. When I mentionedabout the dress being too big to alter, she said they've done many times beforeto resize a dress size 14 to size 0, which I think is ridiculous, especiallyfor a v-neck dress. When I asked for the deposit back because they misled me,they refused even though I cancelled within 12 hours. They deceived me to try to sell me thisworn-out dress and then offered me complimentary services with a seamstress topatch things up. Overall, I feel that they are trying to make a sale and pullone over on me to get rid of a worn out sample dress. I should have read some of these reviewsbefore I went there, it would save me a headache. It was the first and the lasttime I'm going to Ana's. A lesson learned but I wouldn't recommend any of myfriends to go to Ana's.

I wish I could give this place a 0. I will say that I bought my dress there, and that dress was beautiful and I got it for a great price. The experience buying my dress was odd, but I did purchase. I should have stopped there. I unfortunately went for alterations, because I wanted a corset back and I thought they had a good deal, but the rest of my experience was a horror show. Every time you call, you take a huge gamble that the person answering has ANY idea what they are talking about. I called three times in one day and got three very different answers to my questions. They are not upfront about how much alterations cost, though if you look around downstairs, you can find the price list. And NOT ONCE did they discuss what they were doing to my dress nor how much it cost, so the final cost was a HUGE unpleasant surprise to me. When I purchased my dress, I bought the size she told me would be right (a size too small) because I wanted to add the corset back. However, when I had the corset added, they let out the sides, something they NEVER discussed with me, either before they did it, or after I came for another fitting, and it cost me $50. Apparently that was not the right size like I was told when I purchased the gown. I also had beading added, which was nice in the end, but was a terrible journey to get there. First, we discussed a preview of the beading before they did the whole bodice, and they did COMPLETELY the wrong thing. I did decide to get beading anyway and the next time I came it was almost complete, and a little more intense than I wanted, but what could I do? Have them take more time and money to fix it? Not after all the trouble I had. And in the end the beading was $250. It was so much more than I expected, I was NEVER told how long it would take and how expensive it would be. I could keep writing about several more horrors I dealt with with Ana's bridal, but I think I have made my point. DO NOT GO HERE, ESPECIALLY FOR ALTERATIONS!

Ana and her team has yet to fail me. I've gone to Ana's Bridal numerous times for different weddings and know family members and friends who have purchased their attire at Ana's Bridal and they always do an amazing job. The dress I purchased was so beautiful, I fell in love with it the moment I tried it on. It was all I was looking for and more, except there was a slight issue.... It was a bit over my budget. Ana worked with me and worked the pricing to meet my budget! I was soooooo happy and very pleased. The process of purchasing the dress and fitting was absolutely seamless. Thank you ANA and your team!!

I bought a floor sample because it was my size but I still had to pay for shipping and on the same schedule as if I had ordered brand new! And the prices they charge for alterations is outrageous! I took it to a seamstress for 1/2 the price.

Ana's Boutique is the place to find a great dress inexpensively. I found my dress here (as did my cousin and all her friends!) on my first visit.
When I returned for all of my fittings and alterations - Ana's was helpful, professional, and kind. My dress was amazing - it was perfect! (all the other dresses I saw were fantastic as well).
They only do alterations on Monday and Tuesday nights - which was very inconvenient for me as I live out of town, but the drive was worth it!

Okay so extremely excited my wedding gown finally came in today after waiting wayyy too long for it 1 year and 1 month, damn I think I could have learned to make it myself in that amount of time.
On that note I do NOT recommend anyone to give business to Ana's Bridal in EP Ana the owner is the idiot who ordered the wrong dress that still took 9months to come in when they tell you 4-6months!
Then I had to fight for some of my money back and free alterations and headpiece. I get there and the slip says free alterations with purchase of bridesmaids dresses, WHAT this lady must be on some good stuff!! Like I would ever purchase anything else from you again. Then under her breath says she really can't be doing this as she is fixing the slip. REALLY???????
Then I want to try on a headpiece with my dress and she says I cant because there are all pins on the floor and it is dirty from her setting up the display in the front window, WOW seriously I made this appointment 4 days ago why would you be doing this now? OMG talk about poor service! As stressful as this situation has been it is hilarious and amazes me that this lady's still in business, Anyone have any business 101 material for this lady?? LOL

Ugh, the worst! I had ordered a bridesmaid dress there a few years back and all of the bridesmaids, including myself, we're so disgusted with the quality of services at Ana's. When it was my turn to search for wedding gowns, there were a few designers that Ana's carried that other local stores did not, so I decided to go try some on. What a mistake. All you ever get there is rude service! And to top it off, my colleague went there with her daughter recently and ended up ordering her daughters wedding gown there. (wish I had warned her). Get this, after spending $1300 on a dress, they sent e dress home with her daughter in a flimsy dry cleaning bag that was knotted at the bottom!!!! How tacky. Then, when my friend called the shop they insisted she pay an extra $30 for a garmet bag!! This just doesn't happen at other bridal shops. Go somewhere else. Call around and find another shop to order your dress through. I found mine at Julie's bridal in new Bedford. A total run down shop from the outside, but you will not be disappointed. Julie has been in business 30 years and is a complete sweetheart. She had a ton of dresses upstairs and will not charge you for a GARMET BAG or alterations. Plus, she allows you to take all the pictures you want (Ana's does not allow any pictures, either!) Seriously do not give Anas your business.

Ana's Bridal was the only place I could find that had the wedding dress I decided I wanted when I first saw it online. The only thing I didn't like with them was they had specified times when you could do certain things. I went through them with my bridesmaids gowns as well and I think you could only do alterations on Monday or Tuesday, which was hard for my bridesmaids. However, the gowns were affordable and they gave me a discount on the bridesmaids gowns since I bought my own gown there.

Not very flexible, my mom and I ran into some traffic. 1 week before my wedding for my first fitting and they couldn't wait for me and I was only going to be about 10 mins late! They never showed me or my mom how to bustle my dress,! I'm a very easy going person and as a bride I thought I was pretty good, but they really made me feel unwanted like I was "just another bride"

I had a horrific time here. It is a warehouse with dresses jammed in so you can barely walk between the rows. Salespeople don't know what they are talking about since they are just looking for a sale and will tell you anything to make you happy. I didn't get my dress there (Thank goodness!), but a few of my bridesmaids got there dresses there. Not only they order the wrong length for all three girls dresses, but then they then tried to charge the girls to get them hemmed to the right length. It was there mistake!!!! On top of that the girls were rude every time we came in. We had to wait at least 20 minutes to get into a fitting room each time a girl came. To top it off when I went to FINALLY get their dresses the hem was done the cheap way (not an invisible hem) I honestly could have done it myself, and I am only OK using a sewing machine AND they were all wrinkled. I had to bring them home and steam them myself. I can not emphasize enough DO NOT USE THIS STORE!!!! I would give zero stars if I could.

Bridesmaids dresses were ordered in the wrong color but we were told it came in the preferred color. There was no compensation for the "boutique's" mistake! Aweful!!

I purchased my wedding gown and had the alterations done at Ana's. They were flexible about when I could come in for my alterations and they did a great job. My dress was absolutely beautiful. I got it off the rack at a great price so it needed a fair amount of alterations and they were excellent! Michelle did my last fitting and she was very reassuring. There were dresses in a huge range of prices and styles. My only complaint was that at initial visit I was a bit frustrated because the girl that was helping me upstairs seemed impatient and somewhat put out by the amount of dresses I wanted to try on. Otherwise everything was great and my dress fit perfectly.

Every company that I dealt with throughout the wedding planning process was close to perfect- with one exception: Ana's Bridal. I made the mistake of ordering my bridesmaids dresses from them without reading any reviews. They had the designers I liked and their location is convenient. The first time I called to make an appointment everything was fine on the phone. However, when we arrived we couldn't find any employee in the store for about 10 minutes. The BM dresses are on the bottom floor which has an overwhelming incense smell. There was a young girl working who just let us browse without really assisting us very much. Ana was also present- she was very nice and did help us finalize the dress choices. We picked out two dresses out and left. Within the next month my bridesmaids called and ordered the dresses with their measurements as they all lived out-of-state. Once they all ordered, the final order was placed and the staff assured me I would not need a "rush" order and said there was plenty of time. The first half of the dresses came in about one week early which was great. Then we didn't hear anything from the store for the next few weeks. I called several times to check. Almost everytime I called I would get their voicemail, never any call back. This became very frustrating to the point where I was close by when calling once and stopped in to find only 2 customers in the store with several employees free. When I asked why they hadn't been answering the phone, they replied that they were busy. I found this interaction to be rude and somewhat disheartening. Ana seems like a good person but her employees may want to think about the way they conduct business. The last half of the dresses came in only 2 weeks before the wedding, leaving me 2 weeks to deliver them to 4 girls out-of-state and have them fitted. This store has the potential to be an East Providence asset but has a long way to go. Sadly, I have had to redirect several potential customers (mother-in-law, friends recently engaged) to other bridal stores.

When i went with my bridesmaid to actually pick out the dresses the staff were amazing and made sure that everything was the way i wanted. When it came to my bridesmaids to do their fitting they all seemed to have a problem with the service. They were all told different prices for the same exact alternations. One of them were told that the hem would be $30 and the other was told $35. not a big deal they just paid it but the price should be the same if its the same thing. they were both the same dress size and the dress length was also the same so not sure why one was $5 more than the other. Besides my bridesmaid having trouble with the service that was provided. Ana the owner was the best and she was always so friendly and knew me by my name every time i went there. She helped me pick out the most beautiful hair piece ever.

I can honestly say I had a great experience here. I only got my wedding dress here, I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from J Crew. My dad and I went to pick out my wedding dress together and we had a great time. I live 3 hours away so I couldn't make it down during the week for fittings and they were very accomodating. I know a lot of people have had problems with their dresses coming in late, but that is a result of the manufacturer not necessarily Ana's. I really did have a great experience here.

I have mixed feelings about them. I got my dress & my BM dresses there. BM dresses came in the wrong color the first time & had to send them back. It was "rushed" ordered, but only came in a few weeks before the wedding. Apparently there were two color charts. When I went in to see the dress because my BM told me it was a completly different blue & sent me a pic, I told the girl there this & she proceeded to tell me pics make colors look different. I know this, but the difference in color was extreme, so that I found hard to beleive. When the BM dresses ccame out, they were in fact navy blue instead of turquios.
I also had my fitting done there. I had purchased an exspensive bra specifically for this dress & when I went in for my second fitting after alerations, it didnt fit well with the bra I purchased (too tight, made my boobs pop out too much), so I had to wear a different bra & I couldn't return the one I purchased for the occasion.
I was told that I could pick up the dress the Monday before the wedding, so I called them the Friday before to confirm & when I did they told me that it wouldn't be ready until the thursday before. When I went in on Thursday, (I had an appointment for 3 people), we had to wait about 20 minutes for my dress to finish being steamed.
My mother also had purchased her dress here & had a jacket made. She paid $70 for the jacket & then when she went to get her dress, they told her she owed $100 for the jacket. Thank goodness she kept her receipt for proof that she paid for the jacket!
I would go back to buy a dress here, but that's it..too confusing for the customer for anything else.

I would never recommend anyone to go here, My dress was not done untill 3 days before my wedding. The bussal fell apart hafe way into the reseption. the groom and grooms mens tuxes did not arrive untill the night before the wedding and the staff was so rude and did nothing to make the situation better and the alterations were so bad and sooooo much money.

Eh...
I found a dress I adored online but had an incredibly "cheapy" budget in mind. Ana's carried it, so I went to see it and a few others once I discovered it exceeded my personal budget. They went out of their way to borrow samples of the dress I finally decided upon which I appreciated.
Once the deposit was in hand, totally different story. They don't answer the phone! My dress and my maids were both purchased there and it was a nightmare to do fittings. We'd pretty much show up because we couldn't get anyone on the phone. Everyone was helpful once we were there but all you could hear was the incessant ringing.
I had a final fitting and arrived two days before the wedding for pickup. I saw the dress, took it home and didn't think much about it until the big day. While getting dressed my MOH and BM noticed some errant threads on the zipper. These threads warped the zipper, making it jump off its track and making my dress unable to be zipped closed. I think they were left from the alterations because I tried it on twice earlier with no problems. I had myself SEWN into the dress and showed up late to my wedding. I don't know if Ana's can be blamed per se...but nobody had time to think about it, the problem just needed fixing.
I'm sure however, if we had called for help no one would have answered the phone!!!!

I'm really torn about this particular vendor. At the end of the day the dress looked great and fit perfectly and I got a really great price on its so I'm happy and would definitely do it all over again. But, as others have pointed out there was a lot of stress along the way. They are extremely unorganized. I showed up for my second fitting and the dress wasn't ready -- apparently they didn't know I was coming in even though it was right there in the appointment book. Then they made me feel like it was my fault for scheduling my fittings too far in advance of the wedding which was ridiculous because they accepted the appointment and I'd explained to them why I was doing them so early. I also made the mistake of not asking for a quote on alterations before starting them and they ended up being quite expensive and a lot more than I had expected. In summary they have a great selection, good prices on dresses and do a great job with alterations but they need to work on customer service and organization.

I SEARCHED EVERYWHERE FOR THE DRESS I HAD TO HAVE. I DID NOT KNOW WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE BUT KNEW EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE. I TOLD ANA WHAT I WANTED AND SHE FOUND THE PERFECT DRESS FOR ME. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS AND SHE ADDED THE FINISHING TOUCH OF CAP SLEEVES FOR ME AT A DECENT PRICE. ANA WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING. TOWARDS THE END I WENT TO A TON OF FITTINGS TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT, AND IT WAS! I ACTUALLY BECAME FRIENDLY WITH BOTH ANA AND HER DAUGHTER MICHELLE WHO ALSO ASSISTS IN THE DRESS ALTERATIONS. I DID NOT FEEL LIKE I WAS AT A DRESS SHOP WITH STRANGERS, I FELT LIKE IT WAS AN OLD FAMILY FRIEND DOING EVERYTHING THEY COULD TO MAKE MY DAY PERFECT! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Anna had a great selection. That is about all I can say in the positive category. I purchased a beautiful Mikaella gown and the price wasn't too bad, I was expecting to pay over $2k for my dress. In the beginning the experience was great, once they get your money it goes all down hill. My wedding gown came in 4 sizes too big, I brought it Victors to get altered because if they can't measure me properly there was no way I was going to let them cut my dress. They gave it to me in a trash bag when I told them I was going to have my alterations somewhere else!!!!! 2 of my Bridesmaids dresses had to be altered several times because they would pin, cut, sew, try on and they couldn't breath! They even managed to screw up my poor little flower girls dresses. My niece looked at me and said "I can't breath"
Again, selection was wonderful but do not get free alterations take the discount and run to the nearest wedding dress Taylor! Oh and P.S. after you spend 2k on a dress they make you try it on in the basement they don't continue to treat you like a bride and let you try it on upstairs, another reference to “after you pay they DO NOT CARE”!

I had the worst experience and wish I would've read all the reviews before I bought my dress from Ana's Bridal. The dress they ordered for me didn't fit me properly. The measured me 6 months after my first measurement larger than I was on purpose to make it look like I gained weight and therefore it was my fault the dress didn't fit. I went back a week later to get remeasured and I somehow lost the 4 inches they say I gained in the bust. They were able to zip the dress and said see it fits you. I had four boobs popping over the top it didn't fit. My dress didn't come sealed from the company and it had makeup on it. I brought it to another seamstress who fixed it for me by putting in a beautiful corset back and she told me the dress was definately not new and was dirty. I can't believe there business is still open just based on all the bad reviews and the way they treat people. I will never recommend Ana's Bridal to anyone. I will continue to tell everyone to not go there.

I love the wedding gown that I purchased from Ana's and my sister's Maid of Honor dress as well. We were both able to make appointments for alterations without any issue, however if you call and get the answering machine, I would not bother to leave a message as no one will call you back. Ana did all of the alterations for my sister and myself, and our dresses looked beautiful and fit us well on the day of our wedding.

I would not recomend Ana's Bridal for Tux's!!
Horrible business conduct, very unprofessional, bad customer service, & awful quality!!
I had 6 groosmen, my husband and two dad's went here for tux's and i was totally mislead. They all went in or called in for their measurements about 4-6 months before my wedding. They all received calls THE DAY OF THE WEDDING to go and pick up the tux's.......THEY WEREN'T EVEN READY. Every single persons tux was way off in measurements. Each groosmen including my husband were there for 2 hours each the day of the wedding trying to get their tuxes fitted. Some shirts were missing buttons they sent one of our groosmen WITHOUT A VEST the day of my wedding. So one of my groosmen were missing a vest the day of my wedding.....on top of all this my husband and i went in to Ana's Bridal the following day to tell the owner about the missing vest and she basically called us liars.....VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!
It gets worse....3 of the groosmens shoes ripped two hours into the reception including my husband. I would not recomend this company for tux's. It's awful they are unprofessional, horrible customer service, should not be in business espically after reading previous reviews on this site.

Do not use Ana's bridal unless you plan on being stressed out until the day of your wedding! The groomsmen ordered their suits through Ana's bridal, and every single one of them had a complaint. They tried to call their sizes in and never got called back. My husbands and most of the men's measurements were off. She told them they could pick them up the wednesday before the wedding, and they weren't ready until friday night!!!! Only one person's suit fit right, and my father-in-law who got measured by Ana's daughter said he thought the measurements weren't right, but she told him " the last time I checked, I work here not you, so let me do my job". And when he went to get his suit, NOTHING was right. The pants were too short, the shirt was too tight...he looked like he was wearing a bag! My father's pants were too short as well. The whole experience was horrifying and if you want to save yourself stress, avoid Ana's bridal!

Ana's was ok to deal with. They never called me about anything - I had to call them regarding the dress being in, when to have my first and second fitting, and when I could pick the dress up. That being said, I love my dress, and it fit perfectly. Just remember to bring cash for alterations - I forgot and had to leave and come back.

First things first...the girls there are dumb as rocks! The only good thing that came from Ana's bridal was my dress itself. They have a pretty good selection of dresses and I got a great price on my dress. Unfortunately there's a catch because the girls at Ana's bridal lack professionalism and have horrible customer service. I completely agree/ had many similar situations as previous bad reviews. The only way they must be staying in business is from new brides because there is no way they have returning customers. To any Bride reading this--please do the rest of us who had to deal with this place a favor, and bring your business elsewhere!

I bought my dress, my bridesmaids, and my mother's dresses at Ana's. My experience was wonderful. I am a plus size bride so I was happy that the boutique had a large variety. It's a nice feeling to actually wear the dress and not have hold it up in front of you. Besides the dress were gorgeous. The staff helped me pick one that would flatter my figure and fit my budget. My bridesmaids wore the same designer and color, but different dress styles. My girls went into the boutique on different occassions to shop around and the staff was always friendly and professional. It does get busy on Saturdays during the bridal season so there will be a lot of girls. You just need patience when shopping (of course!) Towards the end, during my final fittings, I was given the best treatment. They altered my dress to my specifications (added a sweatheart neckline and embellished the bussel with crystal appliques). They found me trendy accessories for my hair and a beautiful veil. They explained to me the terms of the boutique up front. So I knew that the fittings were a month before the wedding date; fittings needed to be scheduled in advance; that the final payment was in cash; the extra costs associated with special ordering; the cost of alterations. My bridesmaids and my mother's knew the same. Because of this our experience was seamless and without hassle. These terms were not a downside to the wonderful service and quality of Ana's staff. The quality is wonderful! I would shop there again and again. My mom still buys nightlife and dinner cruise dresses there! Just beautiful dresses.

Ana is wonderful and was accomodating and and all of the dresses were beautiful. Her employees, on the other hand, made everyone in my bridal party (including me) feel like we were inconveniencing them. My bridesmaids and I left many messages throughout this process and NONE were returned...
If I had to do it again... I would most likely get the dresses elsewhere.

Ana, I cant thank you enough for the comfort and satisfaction you gave my daughter Kelly when she became so anxious about how her back looked in her wedding dress. Your patience + concern for her feelings was greatly appreciated ! Your sincerity will never be forgotten! Thank you again Patty McBrien (Kelly Krause's Mom)

My overall experience at Ana?s was okay as I found the perfect gown at a reasonable price and the alterations were done well. However I would caution all brides to make sure that they have all information in writing that clearly states what is/isn?t included with the purchase of the gown and shop policies regarding acceptable forms of payment and appointment availability. I was caught off guard on few occasions? I was misled by a sales person (not Ana) about the inclusion of alterations at the time that I purchased the gown. When it came time for fittings, they would only allow week day appointments despite the fact that I was coming from out of state and had to travel over an hour to get there. I was disappointed that my gown did not come with a garment bag (only a flimsy plastic cover like what you?d get at the dry cleaner). In the end I walked away with a beautiful gown that fit like a glove? just had a few bumps in the road getting there.
Vendor response to review
Im sorry if there was any misunderstandments over the policy. We do state them in our store and on your contract and in person. We do now only do fitting during the week Mon-Fri from 10am-9pm. We believe its to crazy to do fittings on a saturday and we are closed on sundays. We do offer a different garment bag for $20.00 if you chose we dont expect our customers to buy a bag and we dont push that. But im glad everything fit you perfectly and best of luck. And thank your for your business

I would never send anyone to Ana's Bridal. I had the worst experience with them.I drove the hour from MA to see a gown that i loved online that they carried. I should have known right off the bat that this was the wrong place to go when I was considered a pain by simply walking throught the door. I loved the dress although it was a size 10 and lookwed like a tent on me, but they pinned it in the back and i couls tell with the right size it would be fantastic. I was not allowed to take a picture on my cell for for my mom without a depoist right then. She was sick and unable to be there.I put the deposit down and was measured. My measurements brought me to either a 4 or 6. I was told the 6 would be better becuase they have to alter the dress anyway. I figured they know what they were doing so I agreed. This is where the true nightmare began. Once you place the money in there hands you no longer exsist. I was told my dress would take 6 months to arrive, but most likely sooner. I waited the 6 months and once the 6 months came being excited and all I called left a message after a week I left another one no return call. After another few days I finally got someone (owners daugther) who was extremely rude and said we are busy herre. I said look I am an hour or so away and I need this dress done to bring with us top Jamacia for our wedding. She said calm down you'll have the dress. Finally it was there my boyfriend (now husband)drove me and waiting in the car. i went in so excited waited over an hour with an appointment. Finally I had the dress in my hands to try on I put it on and it was huge.I swear they gave me that same size 10 floor model beacuse I am a size 4 tops 6.I was so upset I came out and they said oh it looks great. It was hanging so much you could see my bum and boobs almost completely. They once agin rudely told me to calm down they would alter it. She pinned the crap out of it and I left making another appointment to come back. When I got back to the car I was clearly upset but believed it would be altered to perfection. I went back and was so excited to finally see the dress on fitted to my body and beautiful. I tryed the dress on and was in SHOCK, not only was it still big but what they did was cut the straps and pull the dress up so the chest area was hitting my collar bone. It was AWFUL! I came out of the fitting room to OMG it is perfect. I swear I thought this was some kind of a bad joke.I expressed my concern and was told this was my problem there was nothing wrong with the dress. I was leaving on a flight the following day and needed the dress that night or I wouldnt have a dress for my wedding.I left there with the dress and got to the car and my husband looked at me and I started balling my eyes out it was horrible! Needless to say Ana's Bridal ruined all my wedding pictures and the video beacuse I refuse to show them. I had a fairytale wedding on a beach in Jamaica and married the man of my dreams, but looking at the pictures still hurts my heart. My husband and I had a reception when we got home for family and friends, but there was no way I was wearing that dress. I took the dress to a wonderful bridal shop in Auburn,MA she looked at the dress and almost cryed with the pain in my eyes. She also said she has never seen anything like it. the skirt underneath was shorter on one side and she had to relace the whole thing. She was a sweatheart ansd only charged me $100.00, but she had to basicallly make the dress all over. The dress was then Perfect! Brides to be please DO NOT put yourself through this kind of pain on the biggest day of your life.

the only reason I am not giving them 0 stars is because my dress looked great, and in the end all of their mistakes were resolved before the wedding. To sum it up- This place is terrible-seriously DO NOT GO THERE! The only reason why I did was because they were the only place within 50 miles that carried the designer for my dress?but from day 1, we had issues?.they promised us a deal on everything because we were buying all dresses and tuxes from them (7 dresses and 11 tuxes) yet when we were ready to purchase, they said they never agreed to that. Then, they called about 2 months before the bridesmaid dresses were supposed to be in, and said that they had come in early and everyone had 30 days to pay the final balance. I?ve heard of paying the balance before alterations begin, but seriously, no one was prepared for that on such short notice- especially when they have stupid rules about the balance being due in cash only. Next up, my BM dresses had a lot of stitching that created almost ?bustle-like? pick-ups all over the back of the dress. Before I ordered the dress, I asked if that could be removed because I wanted the dresses cut tea-length. I was told it wouldn?t be a problem. I even went with my MOH for her first fitting to show them exactly what I wanted done to the dress-again, all of the stitching could come out-no problem. Fast forward to the week of the wedding, I find out from one of my BM?s that they left two of the stitches-one on each side of the dress. I called Ana?s and was told that in order to remove those, it would require taking apart the entire seam of the dress, and if I wanted it done it would be another $15-$20 per dress. I told her that alterations should have been free, and she said that what I was asking for wasn?t an alteration it was a cosmetic fix of the dress. Regardless?.this was NEVER brought to my attention when I ordered the dress the year before or the month before at the fitting! What it came down to, was that they got to the end, realized it was going to be too much work, and then fed me a bunch of BS to get more money. I almost just paid the $120 to have them fixed because I wasn?t going to make my BM?s pay more at that point. Well in the end, I didn?t love the dresses, but I didn?t down-right hate them, so it wasn?t worth the money. Finally, the tuxes were a DISASTER! They make you go in 4 months before the wedding, but then the tuxes get delivered the week of the wedding! 7 out of 11 tuxes had issues-shirts too small, pants not hemmed, wrong sizes altogether, missing shoes. My dad?s tux came in the DAY BEFORE the wedding. The nephew?s tux jacket had to be picked up the MORNING OF the wedding. One of the other groomsmen?s jacket didn?t fit and the girl at Ana?s told him ?oh well you must have gained weight because we measured you right.? Then, the same girl is telling a dad that whoever measured him must have written down the wrong numbers, and he looks right at her and said ?it was you?.

First and For most we always appreciate all our customers and we do everything in our power to make them happy. But Its surprising to me to see your review because you left our store content. Yes we did promise to give you specials on your whole wedding party and thats what we did on your Bridal gown you recieved 10% OFF & FREE ALTERATIONS and you had 5 different fittings just on your wedding gown and you werent charged for a thing. As for Tuxedos was gave the Groom his FREE & Everyone else got 15% OFF their tuxedo rental. For the Bridesmaids they Recieved FREE ALTERATIONS which were floor length we made T-Length also made the gowns fit there body thats what alterations included which is stated at the store and on your paperwork. All Custom work is additional which we were happy to do for you but you didnt want that. As for the Dresses arriving early we are sorry that the company made them 1- 2 days earlier the dresses were ordered on 10-14 they were due to arrive on 1-9 they came in on 1-7. Gowns for bridesmaids usually take 3 to 4 months approx. but we of course are going to call our customers and let them know when the dresses are in our store. As for the payment those terms are stated to the customer at time of purchase and on our contract and stated over the phone when the dresses arrive. So im sorry we have done what we could to make it known and understood. As for the Tuxedos All gentlemen must come in prior to get a base of measurements done to order the tuxedo and when the week of the wedding comes. we recieve the tuxedos and the guys must try them on before leaving with the tux's. At times they fit perfectly but other times their might be some needed alterations. which we do right on site and you can leave with your tuxedos which is normal and harmless. We fixed the tuxedos and the gowns for the wedding to your satisfaction. Im sorry after the wedding you felt different but we can only fix things that is in our control and in our store. We apologize for an inconvience you have felt and we hope you can understand both sides.

My experience at Ana's was a pleasant one. I had seen my dress at a different Bridal shop but wasn't really happy with the service they were providing. Ana offered a discount on my dress and free alterations for me and my bridesmaids if they purchased their dresses from her. She ordered me my dress and my brides maids dresses and we were extremely satisfied with the level of professionalism. (1 wedding gown, 6 bridesmaid dresses). My mom purchased her dress else where and brought it to Ana's for the alterations, and loved the finished product.
I wanted to purchase 3 flower girls dresses from them to; but after contacting them numerous of times about product (which they were one of the few shops that sold that specific designer in RI, I was told that they no longer sold it. I chose a different dress from another designer but never got a response to my questions or phone calls regarding it. I ended up going to another shop to get the flower girls dresses. what made me upset is that a few weeks later I went to Ana's and the flower girl dress that I wanted to purchase and was told that they no longer sold that designer, was displayed in a mannequin.
After months of searching we ended up getting the suit rentals from Ana's shop (14 suits). The suits looked great. We did have a few issues with sizes once the suits arrived; which made a couple members of the wedding party upset; jackets were either too big or too small or shoe sizes were an issue, and according to them "the service was terrible and the staff was not helpful in fixing a problem that it was caused by the staff after they measured the guys for the suits". But for the most part things were taken care of; it's hard to deal with lots of different personalities. It could have been handled in a better which it would have avoided less problems and arguments between us and the bridal party.
Overall my experience at Ana's was great, my dress was beautiful and the BM's dresses came out great, and even though there were issues with some of the suits, they were very helpful with measurements of members of the wedding party that lived overseas. I even referred a colleague to Ana's and she ended up purchasing her gown from there.
Thanks for everything!!!

My dress was perfect--- the first one I tried on! I got it from Ana's and it was easy to try on dresses and pick out the best one, but getting in to have a fitting was less than easy. My girls got their dresses from Ana's too and they were really nice, but the organization of the store made me nervous that the dresses would get lost in the shuffle...

I went to Anas for my bridesmaid dresses. We were not all that impressed with the service there. I ordered the dresses in April for an August wedding and I was told that they would come in on time with no problem. Three weeks later I received a message from Anas saying that each girl would have to pay $20 extra to have the order rushed or else they would not be on time for the wedding. I was frustrated with this fact and when I called back several times to inquire about it no one ever picked up the phone!
Vendor response to review
Im sorry you felt that way and we appologize if we didnt get back to you to answer your questions. But there is times when gowns have to be rushed based on order time. We do not know if there is a rush fee until we place the order with the company. Gowns normally take 3-4 months to recieve in store. We have no control on the timing of ordering or when the production is finished or started on the gowns. We can only follow rules but if you look back on your contract it does state " rush cuts may be required depending on company and timing of place an order " So all i can do is say sorry if there was any misunderstanding. We do appricate your Business adn hope you had a wonderful wedding.

I wish I knew then what I know now!
I found the prefect dress at an adorable little designer dress boutique in MA, but I decided to purchase it closer to home (Providence) for convenience sake. I called different dress shops, and Anas said that they carry the dress and can offer free alterations because of the high price of the dress. I was sold.
I made appointments to come in for every appointment, but it seemed like my meetings were never written down or expected, so I was always made to wait... so much for convenience.
Unfortunately, my dress was ordered two sizes too big, instead of the standard one size larger, and the dress needed tons of alterations. When the time came at the end, my alterations cost almost $600! They were NOT free, as previously advertised. The alterations were not exceptional. The seams at the sides didn't match up, which is important in the type of dress that I had. And there were big wrinkles on the sides. I asked if they could be steamed out, but I was told that the dress was already steamed and that the wrinkles would come out during wear with my body heat. They didn't.
Naively, I ordered a veil there as well. Turns out that Ana never ordered it, so on the last fitting day, two days before the wedding, I had no veil. Ana suggested another veil for an additional $120 on top of the cost of the veil I originally ordered and paid for in full. I had no choice but to take the new pricier veil and pay the additional cost.
BAD BAD BAD experience all around. I would not recommend the stress!

Its hard to Respond to this Review. We Gave you a discount and not free alterations its on your contract and its clear as day in black and white. Your alteration cost was not even close to 600.00 we have been in business for 12 years and have never once charged any customer that much money on alterations thats simply crazy. Your Total Price for alterations were $250.00 that included your bust, waist, sides, hem, bustle, steam. with unlimited fittings! Your Veil Cost was $120.00 for 1 layer it was your choice to add another veil for $80.00 more. so your total cost was $200.00 for your veil. Your Gown was ordered in a size 8 thats the size according to your measurments. We must order our gowns to your measurements So we are sorry for any Inconvience and Appologize. But we do what was stated on your order form contract and we give you an exact copy also. So Im sorry you felt that way and wish you the best.

I have heard only negitive things about Ana's... however.. luckily my expereince has been good! My gown was altered beautifully.. only one of my bridesmaids had a problem with her dress fitting too small on top!

It was very difficult to find a dress that fit well, in my budget, and in a style that worked for my body. I tried on at least 100 dresses before I found Anas. It took Ana less than 10 minutes to find the perfect dress for me.
After the dress was purchased, I have slightly mixed reviews, but the dress was beautiful and magnificently altered.
Pros: Great selection, reasonable pricing, local shop.
Cons: Very busy fitting area, accepts final payments (50% plus alts) in cash only.

I chose Ana's because of their seamstress. I was really pleased that they were able to match the 20% off that I was offered at another vendor. However, my alterations were not completed at promised (the beading was not taken out from under my arms), yet I was charged full price. Also, they tried to make me order the dress several sizes larger so that it would 'fit for sure'... I know it's likely that I would gain/lose weight, but it seemed to me clearer that they wanted the revenue from tailoring.

I found that the selection of dresses was great but the service and responsiveness was not that great. They had multiple people working on my dress and every time I went back for a fitting they would have to redo something because they last person did it wrong. The dress itself came out amazing but the stress up until then was not worth it.
