Andre Maier Wedding Photojournalism

Andre & Carlos did a fantastic job covering our wedding. We are so pleased with the quality and quantity of the photos taken. They capture all of the emotions and the atmosphere of the day and they didn't miss a moment. They did a great job of not interfering with our guests and their experiences, while capturing up close some of the most intimate moments. Andre is great to work- he is professional and just so nice. We chose Cody Raisig who works with Andre Maier to be our photographer and we are thrilled with our photographs, wedding album and overall experience. We considered many other photographers and Cody won us over with his photojournalistic style and his calm and easy demeanor. Cody was the proverbial "fly on the wall" (if a fly could be so talented!) seizing every opportunity to record each moment. Cody captured not only images but the spirit of our event with his pictures and he delivered and exceeded our expectations.

We were married at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Pier during a beautiful October day. Cody was able to work with the incredible natural light flooding into the room and use it to create both incredible color, as well as black and white shots.

Cody worked with Andre and my husband to produce a large scale leatherbound album that is a remarkable memento of our event. It is now a year later, and my husband and I have scores of brilliant, emotional images to remind us of the joy and happiness that was shared by all at our wedding. Andre was awesome to work with and all my guest loved that they barely knew he was there. he truly captured the feel of our wedding and the picutres was amazing. It was so hard to chose which photos to pick. If I ever need a photographer in the future, Andre will be my first call.
