Angela did an amazing job photographing our wedding! She is very professional, while extremely warm, easy going, and funny! She was truly a joy to work with! Our photos turned out better than I could have dreamed. Angela has a wonderful ability of capturing the moment in a unique and beautiful way.

Angela has taken amazing photos of my daughter since she was a little thing, so when I got engaged, the only vendor I knew I wanted for sure was her. I couldn't imaging getting married without Angela there. She was everything I expected...she took amazing photos--her journalistic and artistic tendencies shone through. We got so many compliments on her work. And most importantly, she was warm and easy and a pleasure to have with us on the big day!

Angela Lang captured the emotion of each moment of my wedding day - from the highs of a new life to the saddness of leaving my city a week after my wedding day. She is an artist with the capacity to capture the spirit of the person, whom she photographs. Her personalized touch enabled my husband and I to share the emotions of the day with all of my husband's relatives that were not able to travel from afar. We will treasure her photographs for life and re-live every moment again and again.

Angela did a great job photographing our wedding! She took great candid photos of our families and guests which was what we wanted. People always comment on how special and interesting our photos are. I highly recommend Angela Lang!

Angela seemed to be everywhere at once while being completely unobtrusive. She captured our ceremony and reception beautifully and was so easy to work with. I highly recommend her to any bride and groom!

I love capturing genuine moments. As a professional who has photographed more than 150 weddings, my job and my joy is to deliver images that will make you laugh, cry, and relive the emotions you felt on your wedding day.

I hold a B.A. in Photojournalism and have worked as a professional photojournalist. I am honored to be recognized as a 7-time international award-winning wedding photographer, but I get the most satisfaction from thrilling clients with beautiful images that reveal their true essence. My photography style is clean, simple, and layered with emotion and humor.

I am a proud member of the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers (ISPWP) and the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA). Random House published my book, Vintage Knits for Modern Babies in 2010, and my work has appeared in Pottery Barn.

What do your packages include?

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?

I offer vintage enhancements to create an artful effect, but not hand-coloring or toning.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

Yes. I have photographed over 150 weddings in various lighting situations: indoors, outdoors, high ceilings, low ceilings, candle and stringed lights, tents, etc..

Is your media preference film or digital?

Digital

How many photographers do you work with?

It depends on the size of the wedding

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Yes. I have photographed every single wedding I've done.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

Not ever in the same day. Only on occasion during the same weekend, but both weddings have to be local and one has to be on the small side for me to take it on.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

I have a list of photographers whom I could call in a pinch.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

Camera, strobe/flash, lenses, batteries, cards, and a portable hard drive

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Always!

Do you charge hourly or full day?

Full day. Hourly if it's a really small wedding and they've asked for a custom package.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

Yes. $200 an hour

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

I don't require a break but I do require a 15-minute set-up just prior to the ceremony for positing and lighting reasons when I am not taking photos. I do require a meal break provided by the client, preferably with a place card so that the caterers don't have to think about where to seat me.

Yes

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

3-4 weeks

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

After the images are edited and enhanced, it is viewed a beautiful slideshow which comes with a link that may be shared with family and friends. Guest may order using their own credit card. Also, the slideshow comes with editing tools that allow the viewer to create folders, compare photos, etc..

How long can the client keep the proofs?

The slideshow lasts for 2 months

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

Yes

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Yes

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

Yes

Will images be available for viewing online?

Yes

What kind of albums do you offer?

Magazine style albums. I offer several different styles and pricing. I believe that everyone should have enough options, both in style and pricing, so that they can have a wedding album to preserve their most treasured images from their special day.
