AniA Bridal

I was very pleased with AniA Bridal. My dress came when they said it would, looked beautiful, fit, and the staff was very kind and helpful. Because my engagement was short (and my work schedule logistically awful), Ania was probably on the receiving end of the most bridal temper tantrums I had, but the staff were very calm and more importantly, delivered my dress on time! They were very responsive when I called (which was often) and were in continuous contact with my dress designer, which gave me more comfort about the process.

I flew out to Portland so I could go shopping for my wedding dress with my mom and sisters. AniA had a wonderful selection and made the shopping experience so fun. When I flew in to pick up the dress and try it on again we found a huge yellow spot on the front. They were so wonderful about fixing the situation. A new dress was ordered and mailed out to me in Pittsburgh PA free of charge. The dress turned out wonderful. The only word of warning is don't let them talk you into buying too big of a dress. I had to get mine taken in over 4 inches because they were insistent that I needed to order a size up from the size I had tried on and fit me. Go with your instinct!

Morgan was amazing. I went into Ania with a price point I did not want to go over, and a few pictures of styles I liked. Morgan was able to pull many dresses in my price range that were beautiful. Once I picked the dress, she stayed in contact with me to give my updates on the progress of my dress and its arrival.

When I was fist picking out my dress I though this was a great place. They have a big selection and the sales associates were nice and helpful. However, after I purchased the dress and quality of service wend down dramatically. I was getting snide comments and felt very uncomfortable to be there. Also the seamstress they recommended really damaged my dress. It is lace and she said she could hem lace easily. When I got my dress back however the bottom looked like a mess and I was very disappointed. Also the bustle in the back ripped the butt out of the lace only 20 minutes into the reception. I hadn't even started dancing yet. My mom had to re-sew it twice during the night. Very disappointing.

I purchased my dress through Ania Bridal. I already had it picked out (I went dress shopping with my mom in NY), but they were helped me find the exact size I needed. The dress was perfect! I really didn't even need any alterations, I just opted to get some bra strap holders sewn in and I had the seamstress tack the from together he to make the dress less revealing.

I loved Ania collection!!! I bought my Marissa gown from them after shopping at several shops in Portland. Ania is classy and so clean. All the sample gowns are well cared for and the lovely ladies that served me were knowledgeable about which fabrics and silhouettes look best on each body type. After the purchase, they referred me to a TOP NOTCH seamstress for alterations ( I used Gail in Tigard - I was so pleased with my final dress). After my alterations, the Ania staff steamed my dress for free!!! These ladies are a pleasure to work with.

Go into the salon with an open mind. Sometimes the consultants will know what looks best more than you do. Let them work their magic! I was soo pleased with my result!!! When my best friend got married, she also got her dress...

I had a great experience working with the girls at AniA -- they were professional, helpful and best of all honest with helping me find the perfect dress!

Ania collection has beautiful dresses from designers that cannot be found anywhere else in Oregon or southern Washington. Rachel was fantastic to work with, and I was very happy with my experience there. They can be a little pricey, but it is well worth it. They worked within my budget and I love love loved my dress.

Found a few dresses I liked online and then saw that Ania had them. Ladies here were super nice and helpful, made me and my party feel special! Found my dream dress here and got some advice for veils and jewelry, etc.

I loved my dress, but I ended up very frustrated with the communication from Ania Bridal. Three separate times, the store was supposed to call me to let me know when my dress or veil was scheduled to arrive, and they dropped the ball all three times. They even forgot to order my veil - fortunately I took it upon myself to call them the week before my wedding to check on the veil status (since I had waited for them to call and they hadn't), and they told me it hadn't arrived yet but was scheduled to arrive the afternoon before my dress pickup. Clearly they forgot and then had it shipped last minute. I would NOT recommend Ania Bridal.

I found the dress of my dreams here, and the customer service and care was excellent. I would highly recommend their services to others.

Ania Collection is FANTASTIC! They have excellent staff, affordable dresses, and most of their samples are a size 12 (which translates to about an 8 – must more friendly than the other places I went!)!

I went to my first appointment with a bunch of pictures, and Devennie was able to deduce the styles I would like AND that would look good on me right away – I liked all but one of the dresses she pulled for me. Furthermore, she factored in alterations when I told her my budget, and didn’t put me in a single thing that would have gone over. Devennie and the other consultants there were very helpful in making suggestions regarding accessories and veils as well. I ended up with the most perfect dress I could imagine – and it wasn’t even a style I would have thought would look good on me. That takes SKILL!

My sister bought her bridesmaid dress and jewelry there (for a discount!), and had her dress altered by one of Ania’s seamstresses. They were wonderful with this as well, even though she was like a tornado plowing through the racks! The alterations came out AMAZING – the dress was enormous when it started, but holy man did she look hot when it was finished!

Best bridal shop in Portland, period. Great selection in a range of price points, excellent staff, professional service, and a very talented in-house seamstress. Couldn't be happier, and I fully recommend AniA Collection to everyone.

This was the only bad vendor I worked with and the worst experience of planning my wedding. I could hardly be more disappointed and am shocked at the service I got from a company that is supposed to do this every day. Beware! Ok, was not a bridezilla and, as I said, I was happy with all my other vendors, but Ania scewed my bridesmaid big time. I went shopping for bridesmaid dresses at Ania with my sister-in-law about 6 months before the big day. My other two maids live out of state, so we tried on a few styles and then the other girls tried on dresses where they live. When everyone was happy, we talked and decided everyone would order their dresses separately for convenience. My sister-in-law went back in January, 5 months before the wedding, got her measurements taken and paid for the dress in full. They said it would be ready near the end of April. Around that time my other maids got their dresses, and I asked my sister-in-law when hers was due. She told me she expected it any time. A week or two later I got a call from Ania’s. The girl on the phone asked if my sister-in-law still wanted the dress she had ordered, and was my wedding still in June? Umm, yes to both. Then she got really quiet, and finally told me they had never ordered the dress because they thought the other girls were going to order them there as well. No, I told her, just that one, go ahead and order it. Well, she says, actually now it’s too late to order it, even on rush order. WTF?!! I can see how the original misunderstanding could happen, but why would you wait until it’s TOO LATE to call and confirm? She paid for the dress in full, of course she wanted it! I calmly asked her what she was going to do to make it better, and she told me they could order the fabric and have their custom dress-maker copy the sample. She assured me it would be done on time, since it would be custom made it would not need alterations, and that it would not cost any extra. I was unhappy with their irresponsible handling of the order but holding out to see what the final outcome would be. My sister-in-law went in for custom measurements, and they told her they would call in a couple weeks. More time went by, we heard nothing, and then they told her to come in again for more measurements. By this time I was worried it wouldn’t be ready in time. Three weeks before the wedding, my fiance got a manager on the phone and it seemed this was the first she had ever heard of the situation. After he complained to her, she told him the dress would be ready in a week. When my sister-in-law went in to get it, two weeks before the wedding, it was huge and did not fit her at all. The seams were all rippled and it looked like a home-ec project. She told them it did not fit and needed to be altered and they said they would send someone to her house because she did not have time to go back to the store. This was a different person, who admitted that the lady who made the dress originally makes a lot of mistakes that she has to clean up after. After the dress was refinished, it finally looked wearable, and was completed just a few days before the wedding. But then I found out they had charged my sister-in-law $100 for the alterations! Which were they had explicitly told me would not be needed and would not cost extra! I could not be more disappointed with my experience with Anias, and I am so thankful I did not order my wedding dress from them or I would have had smoke coming out my ears. They were the one black spot on an otherwise smooth wedding planning process, and I would tell anyone who cares about honesty, quality, and value to avoid them like the plague!

I went to 5 different stores before I found my dream dress. But when I found it, I had that “a -ha” moment where you know you’ve found the one – kind of like when I met my husband, I knew he was the One! I found my dress at Ania Bridal Collection. Ania’s approach is a little different than other bridal stores that I’ve been do where you walk around picking dresses. You first meet with your consultant and describe what elements you are looking for in a dress. The consultant then pulls dresses that match your criteria. I told my consultant that I wanted a dress with a sweetheart neckline, rouched bodice and a skirt that had interesting details (i.e. ruffles or architectural detail). My consultant managed to find a dress that exactly matched my criteria! It was the first dress I tried on there and the moment I put it on, I knew it was the one - Wtoo’s Liane! I'm not sure how effective their methodology would be if you had no idea what sort of dress you wanted, but at least it worked for me!

The were very flexible and accommodating to me as I was determining my hairstyle for the wedding. I still had a couple months before my dress would arrive, but I wanted to do a hair trial run and see it with the dress. I was able to do my trial run, stop by the store (with an appointment) and try on the dress to see the full look. I thought that was very nice of them! I highly recommend...

When I walked into AniA, I was a little concerned about finding a dress that met my preferences and my budget. My consultant, however, understood exactly what I was looking for and found me the perfect dress well under my budget. All the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and I felt very lucky to be working with such a great vendor. Highest recommendation!

I was SO pleased with Ania. I worked with Rachel who was so fun and spunky! She was PERFECT in helping me find such a beautiful gown for my special day. One thing that I really appreciated was that she sent me a sample of the fabric from my dress a few weeks after I ordered my gown! That way it was easy to match things to my "ivory" dress. They are willing to work with your price range and Rachel showed me a ton of dresses within and below my budget! It was so nice to see and have so many options. I had such a wonderful experience at Ania Bridal Collection! I found my dream wedding dress there and the most gorgeous bridesmaids dresses. The associates were very nice, knowledgeable and fun to work with. No problems at all. A very classy store!

The sales woman who helped me really added the vision that sold me the dress. She was great at narrowing down which fabrics and styles I was tending to like and which I only thought I liked before trying them on.

I was a little disappointed that my dress arrived with the tiniest mark on the fabric (not noticeable unless standing up VERY close, thankfully) and requiring alterations even though the brand new sample fit me perfectly, but these things are out of Ania's control.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience @ Ania Bridal. I couldn't have asked for better service. I had tried on my dress at another boutique out of state and Ania had a dress by the same designer at their store. I was torn between the two and seeing as how I couldn't just try both on at the same time, they offered to call the designer and borrow the other dress I tried on out of state. NONE of the other boutiques I went to offered me anything like that. Now that's going above and beyond your job to make the experience special.

My only complaint (a small one) is that I had ordered special alterations to my dress, nothing too intricate, but when I went in for my final dress fitting, those alterations were not made and it was too late at that point to have them fix it. They did however refund me the additional cost of those alterations. Something i also think that all bridal salons should mention to brides to be is that your wedding dress size is not the same as your regular dress size. Wish I would have known that when I ordered my dress, but it all worked out in the end.

Tried dress shopping in the Salem area and found nothing! All the dresses I tried on felt promy, not something I wanted to wear on the most important day of my life. I Wanted a couture wedding gown and found the perfect one at Ania Bridal! I worked with Jenni and she was amazing!! She helped me find the perfect dress, and my dress was perfect! Plus it was in the trunk show so I got a discount. She gave me recommendations for seamstress, who also was amazing! And they steamed my dress the week of my wedding. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for the perfect dress and not wanting to settle for a dress made of cheap fabric.

Make sure to make an appointment your first time in but other than that they can take it from there, show you things in your price range, alterations can be done right there in their store, and the gown selection is incredible. Above all nice friendly staff who make the whole process fun from start to finish!

Ania bridal was great! I got my dream dress and they were beyond helpful!

The Ania Bridal employee who helped me pick the perfect dress was awesome! Her name is Rachel and the shop has a great staff of very helpful associates and beautiful dresses for all budgets. My dress was amazing and was only $900! Rachel even accommodated my coming in several times to show visiting relatives my gown before my wedding!

The problem with my dress actually arose from the alterations person, Julie, recommended by Ania Bridal. Julie was incredibly sweet and came into the shop to work on my dress alterations so that my gown never had to leave the shop. However one of the straps she put on my previously strapless gown came off during my first dance!

Had she mentioned to me that there was even the slightest chance that the straps wouldn't work for that gown I would have NEVER paid extra to have them put on! I actually missed my ENTIRE reception because I was in the bathroom with my aunt and cousin who were helping me to fix the strap. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

I loved Ania's, getting the dress was my first wedding activity. I had no clue about designers, styles, or anything. The consultant was full of energy and excitement and it made the experience great. She did not show me any dresses that were not within my budget and didn't pressure me to buy anything. Although the collection they have there is large enough, that i think everyone will find there perfect dress there. I found my perfect dress.

I had THE BEST experience at AniA Bridal. I had a unique situation in that my first wedding dress was ruined by my seamstress (she was not associated with AniA, and my first dress was not from this store.) I finally accepted that my dress would not be wearable and that I would have to find a new one 2 months before my wedding. I was so stressed out and distraught by this! However, Morgan, of AniA bridal, was my hero. She made me feel comfortable and at ease as soon as I met her. She was very professional, offered me something to drink, took me back to where I'd be trying on dresses and intently listened to me describe my dream wedding dress. She was very empathetic to my situation and treated me like she was helping her best friend rather than someone she had just met. Luckily for me, AniA just had a sample sale. Morgan listened to the things I said I liked and didn't like in a wedding dress, and I was shocked at how many gorgeous dresses she pulled for me to try on that I loved. When I had originally looked at other bridal shops, dresses that the associates pulled for me made me wonder if they were even listening to what I said I wanted. Her style is impeccable and I quickly learned I could trust her on all her suggestions and opinions. She was extremely patient with me the whole time, never making me feel rushed or pressured. She even asked me half way through our session if I had changed my mind about having something to drink as we were running a little long. UNBELIEVABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The other girls who worked there were also very sweet. After I decided on a dress, one of the girls behind the cashier's desk asked if she could give me a hug which was very welcomed! I could go on and on with more details about this wonderful experience but I'll stop rambling and recommend this: Make sure you make an appointment at AniA if you're looking for a wedding dress. You will not be disappointed! I can guarantee you I will be bringing in all my friends when they get engaged!

AniA was great. I had been to six or seven different stores, and wasn't able to find a dress I loved, by the time I came to AniA. I walked in, and the saleswoman, Morgan, asked me what I was looking for in a dress. I gave her a couple of brief descriptions, and within two dresses she had found the perfect one for me.

I liked that they didn't pressure me to try on every dress, like some places do, and they respected the budget we set out at the beginning of the appointment. Morgan was fast, friendly, and very nice.

They don't do alterations in house, but they recommended a fantastic tailor, with very reasonable prices, who we also loved.

I have a Jim Hjelm dress from Ania that I used for my wedding and it was PERFECT!!!!! I felt so beautiful in it and looking back at the pictures it looks like it was made just for ME! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

I worked with AniA Bridal for a wedding photoshoot, where I modeled couture bridal gowns. I remember I got to the shop a bit early, and as I was standing outside, I was in awe by the few gowns that were displayed in the windows. They were so breathtaking and just stunning!

I was even more impressed when I got inside. The walls were lined in the most beautiful, elegant gowns I had ever seen! The store was very sophisticated, and besides bridal gowns, they also had jewelry, shoes, hair accessories, and dresses for the bridal party and mother of bride/groom.

I had been in a few bridal stores in the past, but AniA's surpassed them all. My favorite detail of the store was the dressing room. In one corner of the store was a floor-to-ceiling curtain, with cute little couches facing towards it. As I stood inside the dressing room (which was lined with mirrors), I was told to turn and face the curtain. Just then, the curtain opened and I was facing all of the women on the couches, jaws dropped with amazement! It was SOO much better than your typical 4x4 dressing room- I felt like a princess!

The owner of AniA Bridal, was fantastic and assisted me the entire time in the dressing room. She knew how each gown was supposed to fit, and did not open the curtain until everything was in its correct place. She made me feel so beautiful, telling me I looked stunning and that the gown(s) looked beautiful on me. Now what an experience!!

I definitely recommend AniA Bridal for any bride who wants to look and be treated like a princess!

I LOVE Ania Collection. I am a California bride, but decided to purchase my dress in Oregon. I came across Ania Collection in my online search for bridal salons in that area. Everything was done via the telephone. There customer service was amazing. They were so helpful, kind and patient. I highly recommend them to any bride.

Overall, I had a very good experience at AniA. The selection of dresses was gorgeous, though at the very top of my budget. Service was exceptional. My only concern was that when I received my dress in my size, it didn't end up fitting quite the way I had been led to believe when trying it on in store. It had been described as an A-line, but ended up being much more fitted! It worked out ok in the end, but very well could have been disastrous.

The AniA collection gals were totally awesome in the service department, friendly, helpful and patient, but when the Bridesmaid dresses we ordered arrived the dress for every girl who was measured in the shop was 1-2 sizes too big, as in NO measurement was even close to fitting them. The one out of state bridemaid who sent her measurements in got a dress that fit, everybody else had a massive alterations bill because the dress had to be totally remade to fit them.
I was very disappointed because I expected much better from a shop that came across as such a quality and service oriented business which came highly recommended by a friend who had bought her wedding dress from them with no such shenanigans.

I had a wonderful experience at AniA Collection! I went there my first day of dress shopping, and my consultant Lynne immediately put me at ease. She sat down with me and looked at the dress pictures I had brought, so she was able to choose dresses to recommend for me, but she also let my bridesmaid and I poke around too, which was great! She and all the other consultants I worked with were incredibly friendly and helpful, gave great feedback and weren't pushy. When I had narrowed down my choices I was able to walk in front of a mirror with a veil and flowers to get the "full effect" of the dresses. I had started my dress shopping pretty late, so they ended up rush-shipping my order free of charge to make sure I would have plenty of time for alterations, and offered a quantity discount for the bridesmaid dresses as well as a discount on accessories. AniA was such a positive place to shop that I ended up ordering my bridesmaid dresses and veil there as well!!‎

They were easy to work with and very friendly. My dress and the flower girl dress turned out absolutely amazing!

I ordered a dress without trying it on, but it all worked out great and the women working at Ania were very kind and considerate. I definitely recommend them.

AniA Bridal was the first dress boutique I went to right after getting engaged! Karyn treated me like a princess and let me try on every style she could think of to help me narrow down what I might like! After having a fun dress-up session, I used the next couple of weeks to search around Portland and Vancouver for the perfect dress! I had such a hard time, because all of the dresses looked "nice" and "would work fine", but I never had that "ah ha" moment that every little girl dreams of!

Then one morning I had one hour before another friends wedding and convinced my mom to meet me back at AniA Bridal to see what they had, now that we had narrowed down the style search! Karyn ended-up finding my dress, and sure enough, I knew it was the one; tears and all! It was unique and elegant, and made me feel like royalty!

Other places often left me and friends alone to go through dresses, and sometimes I didn't even have an attendant to help me try on! AniA and Karyn truly made me feel like the princess of the day! They were so kind and genuine and able to answer any questions I threw at them!

I would recommend Ania to anyone who wants the "true" bridal experience! Their associates and seamstresses are amazing and their designer selection is still the best I have seen around the city!

I can't reiterate how uncomfortable my experience was at Ania Collections. From the moment I walked in the door, the place seemed to have a very negative vibe. The sales lady working with us cared more about messing with another store than helping me find a dress. All she did was complain, complain, complain. My mom and I felt so uncomfortable that they were trying to drag us into their dispute that we left halfway through the appointment.

If you want an enjoyable shopping experience, don't go to Ania Collection. You will be left with the feeling of being in the center of junior high drama.

I had a wonderful experience at AniA Bridal, the woman who helped me for my initial visit, trying on tons of dresses, Rachel, was amazing! she listened to me and pulled the dresses i had in mind, but also picked a few she thought i might like. i walked in there with one kind of dress in mind, tea length, sort of breakfast at tiffany's, and ended up with the most traditional modified a-line dress with a train and veil, and i love it! picked designer lea-ann beltier emily dress from the 2006 collection. such a beautiful and amazing dress, so soft and delicate, i do not want to hermetically seal it, i want to be able to wear it again! plus i was a bad bride and put off the dress until the last minute, i was able to get this dress in under 2 months and the rush was only $100, there was no shipping fee.

Ania has a great selection of designer dresses. The staff was not too pushy just polite. The seamstress who altered my dress was fabulous and so quick. The only thing I didn't like was how long I had to wait before the dress came in after we ordered it, but I don't think that was the store's fault.

My dress was my dream dress. AniA's has a great selection!

AniA Collection provided a unique experience for me as a bride-to-be. The staff was exceptional. My personal assistant was Claire & she knew exactly what she was doing. They have a great selection of new higher end designers and have great communication with upcoming trunk shows. I was a bride who didn't have family or friends in town & AniA made me feel comfortable going in on my own. The seamstress they recommend was exceptional. She did a fantastic job, but not to say her people skills aren't lacking. She was friendly but not very outgoing. However, her work was phenomenal & the turn around time was amazing. She even had time to alter the MOB's dress 3 days before the wedding.

I purchased my dress from AniA Collection about 9 months prior to my wedding, at one of their trunk shows. They said it would take about 3 months to come in, but it actually came in earlier than expected. The staff (especially Megan) were very friendly throughout the entire process of finding and purchasing a dress until it was perfect. They held it for me until I was ready to pick it up for my wedding and allowed me to come back numerous times for fittings with their alterations specialist (who also did a great job making sure the dress fit and looked well). I also purchased my veil and jewelry through them. If you purchase a wedding dress through them, anything else you purchase for your wedding is an additional 10% off. I have heard horror stories about other bridal shops in town, and you will definitely have the most pleasant experience at AniA!

Shopping for my dress turned out to be a lot more stressful than I imagined! I had an idea in my head that I would wear something very understated, but besides that, I really had no clue what I wanted. I swore I wouldn’t go to a bridal salon, but after several failed attempts at finding something I liked at smaller boutiques, I trudged downtown to Ania. It was everything I feared – big, huge selection, many brides flitting about, following women with armloads of dresses. I am sure my dismay showed on my face when a soft-spoken young woman came up and asked me if she could help me. I immediately told her that I didn’t think that I would find what I was after there. In a soothing and very unsales-y tone, she asked me a little bit about not only what I was looking for in a wedding dress, but what about my shape I felt comfortable with and what I did not. After a few such questions, she excused herself, and I began the daunting task of looking through the racks. Before I had gotten very far, the saleswoman returned to tell me that she had found a few dresses I might consider, and had hung them in one of the enormous dressing rooms. There were three dresses, none of which I probably would have picked for myself, but all of which were very pretty and in my price range. One of the three was “the one,” and when I sucked in my breath a little and whispered, “oh!” my expert saleswoman was right there to cinch up the waist so that it would look as though it had already been fitted. It was gorgeous, I was ecstatic, and the whole process was quick and painless. Ania is a great place not only because they have a huge selection of dresses in every conceivable style and price point, but because their knowledgeable, friendly staff take what could be an overwhelming experience and make it fun and stress free!

I'm so glad I bought my wedding dress here! The atmosphere wasn't pretentious like other bridal salons I'd been to. The staff was extremely helpful and never made me feel rushed or pressured. I live in Los Angeles, so I had them send me my gown once it came in. It arrived in perfect condition and fit beautifully!

They messed up my dress 3 TIMES! I stayed the EXACT SAME WEIGHT for 12 months---since I ordered my dress a year before my wedding. They ordered the complete wrong size (and wrong HEIGHT, way way too short) 3 times. I received my dress the DAY before the wedding, and because of it, it still wasen't right.

I loved my dress, and was very happy with the service, including their in-house seamstress who handled the alterations.
