She was extremely great to work with, flexible schedule, and she did a great job. She is very talented. And I met with her a number of times since I brought the dress in 6 months before the wedding. I had to only give her an A because she placed snaps for the French bustle. IT looked amazing but they are not very secure. I do highly recommend her but I would definitely ask her for an alternative to snaps.
Ann reworked and restyled my mother's wedding dress. She did a great job of keeping the vintage feel of this heirloom but she really turned it into a modern, contemporary gown that was totally me! The alterations were expertly done. She added a lace trim to my mother's antique veil that pulled the whole thing together. I felt great on my day. And the process was actually very enjoyable. She's a great person and made me feel so comfortable at my fittings.
Ann made an exquisite wedding gown for me in 2001. She is professional, kind and very easy to work with. And very reasonable.
About Ann Hamilton Bridal
Ann studied fashion design at the Parsons School of Design in New York City. She worked for several years in costume design for the theater, and has worked in bridal design and heirloom gown restoration and restyling since1990. Her work has been highlighted in a number of newspaper and magazine articles both in New York and Ireland. For the past several years she has been included in New York Magazine's special wedding issue.
