Laurie was an absolute pleasure to work with during our wedding planning. She was able to step in two months prior to our wedding to help us design a beautiful floral concept for both ceremony and reception spaces when we encountered issues with our original florist. She was extremely creative thinking of flowers that would compliment the overall colors and theme of our wedding.

As a bride I was very nervous about agreeing to something that I couldn’t see before hand but Laurie assured us that we were in good hands. She was absolutely right and I couldn’t have been more happy when I saw the lovely floral arrangements that were at the alter as I made my way down the aisle. I was in complete awe when my groom and I had our first look at the reception space. I was in tears admiring my vision that Laurie made a reality. The high and low floral arrangements containing hydrangea, roses, and spider mums to name a few were breath taking! All of our guests were amazed by how beautiful the flowers were. The flowers for my daughter's wedding created by Laurie of Ann's Garden were absolutely beyond beautiful. From the first time we met with Laurie and explained our vision for "the" wedding, I knew we were in the hands of the best florist that we could ever want to work with. Her creativity and excitement were present from the word "go". I was thrilled when I saw the details and flower selections for the bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres. But when I walked down the tent aisle at the ceremony, my eyes were focused on the table arrangements and how Laurie transformed a white tent into a place of absolute beauty. Her arrangements were lush and her attention to detail was beyond excellent. I received comments from the caterer, the venue coordinator and our guests about how our flowers were some of the most beautiful they had ever seen. We had 32 inch lighted Pilsner Vases that were the center of many discussions that evening. Laurie was awesome to work with through the whole process and took the time to find my daughter prior to the ceremony and congratulate her and share with her that she could not wait for her to see her creations. It was very important to Laurie that we were happy and....we were! She was prompt and set up during a major weather event without missing a step. Laurie was a delight to work with, having so many ideas on how to achieve the look that we wanted while trying to stay within the budget that she was given. We were blown away with how beautiful the flowers were on the wedding day. It far exceeded our expectations. All of our guests commented on how stunnin the flower displays and particularly the bouquets were. Just gorgeous. I would recommend her highly.

I was very disappointed with the service we got from Laurie at Ann's Garden. The end product was mostly very attractive, but she mostly went with her own ideas instead of ours.

Throughout one meeting she allowed us, she talked far more than she listened, was extremely condescending throughout the whole process, and misled us on the pricing. By the time we got an accurate price, it was too late to book another florist.

Her justification for her bad attitude was that the flowers had her name on it, and she had a reputation to protect. I guess that's why she showed up on the day of the wedding (late, and in sweats, I might add) with the boutonniere she wanted, instead of the one we requested. When I told her there was no way I was wearing it, she made another one quickly, which ended up looking absolutely terrible.

Laurie did a great job! The flowers were absolutely gorgeous!!! We got many compliments. She is a bit more expensive than other vendors but she put together a wonderful setting and we didn't have to worry about a thing. She did centerpieces, cocktail tables, garden stands, bouquets and boutineers. Nothing was missing, no flowers were incorrect, everything was beautiful. Thanks Laurie!

The flowers that Laurie creates are beyond imaginable. She is a pleasure to work with and always receptive and catering to individual needs. Laurie did a wonderful job on our wedding flowers for our winter wedding. When we first met with her we had some pictures and ideas and she was able to use them as a starting point for the designs. We wanted a different look and feel for each table and got just that! My bouquet was so beautiful. She and her team even created a life-like penguin out of flowers! Laurie and Ann's Garden played a major role in making my wedding everything I dreamed of. I am NOT a very creative person and had no idea what I wanted for my flowers when we started planning the wedding. I'll never forget my first visit with Laurie - it was a panic attack waiting to happen for me because everything I liked was way more expensive than our budget allowed. My mom had some ideas and all I knew was what I DIDNT want. Point being - Laurie handled a VERY indecisive and uncreative bride, and transformed her into a patient, trusting customer. :) Her patience with my mother and I after that first visit was top notch. Laurie, owner of Ann's Garden is amazing. She may be extremely busy, but will get back to you when you need an answer. She really works hard to make her Brides happy. The owner of Ann's Garden, Laurie Ann, was an absolute delight to work with. She responded promptly to all of my questions and made sure to listen to all of my likes and dislikes. She has a real passion for what she does, and even my fiance got excited about the arrangement ideas that she presented to us! I think that the best attribute of Ann's Garden is their willingness to cater to your budget. They did an amazing job of adding creative flairs that kept the total cost right on track. Laurie gave us two centerpieces that helped us keep the budget almost to the penny (a gorgeous floral design and a bubble bowl with lemons and a floral arrangement coming off the side). The bright, full flowers that she chose for the bouquets were perfect for a summer wedding, and the men's boutaniers were simple and elegant. I would recommend Ann's Garden to my family and friends in a heartbeat!

Ann's Garden did an amazing job our with the flowers for our wedding day. I knew that I had made the right choice after my initial consultation with Laurie. She has such a vision for decor and was able to take my ideas and my visions and suggest some excellent arrangements. This vendor is great to work with. I moved to this area just under one year ago when I begin planning my wedding. I went to two (2) other florists first before I found Ann's Garden. The first vendor I went to was quite snooty and did not want to help us. The second vendor was not very capable. I finally located Ann's Garden and it was like, Wow! The quote I received was very reasonable for what I received and Laurie was a joy to work with. I met with her in person and she drew sketches for me of what she was designing adn very much captured the spirit of what I wanted. I had to make a couple of changes to my order and her staff was quite accomodating. I received rave compliments from my guests on the flowers!!

Let me tell you when it comes to wedding flower arrangements no one can beat Ann's Garden for the quality, beauty and visually stunning arrangements, bouquets, and decorative accents that were presented at our daughter's wedding this past Saturday 5 February 2011. These flowers were "over the top". They exceeded all of our expectations!
Throughout the wedding the majority of attendees at one time or another would walk up to one of the numerous arrangements and would "touch and smell" the flowers - just to see if they truely were real! That's how visually stunning the arrangements were! Additionally, there were people in attendance that were taking pictures of just the arrangements to show others. We used Ann's Garden for our November 13, 2010 wedding, and could not be happier! The compliments and praises were numerous and great! The flowers in the church were big and beautiful without being overdone.

The reception centerpieces were gorgeous, and guest were actually fighting over who got to take them home at the end of the night!

But my favorite were the bouquets. They were so lush and beautiful, it was by far my favorite thing about the whole day. One of my bridesmaids said that the girl's bouquets were bigger than her own wedding bouquet! It was the perfect touch to my special day.

Working with Ann's Garden was like a dream come true! We were married in October of 2010, with fall flowers and colors. Laurie made the most fabulous and gorgeous floral designs for my bridal party and special guests. Laurie, owner of Ann's Garden, made us feel very comfortable listening very attentively to the description of my daughter's dress, brides maids, and mothers dresses. She had several binders reflecting her work and offered suggestions which in her professional manner would make the floral arrangements and bouquets gorgeous. It all began with a cala lily and from there we were on our way to the more gorgeous arrangements I have ever seen in my life. Throughout the entire reception, numerous guests inquired where we ordered the flowers from. Ann's Garden did such a wonderful job with the flower centerpieces, arrangements, bouquets, boutineers, corsages and palm trees for my daughter's wedding. The theme of the wedding was Carribean and Ann's Garden knew just what kind of flowers to use. Everyone complimented how exquisite everything was which made all the more such a beautiful day. Definitely set up a meeting with Laurie and she will show you some magnificant flowers!

I absolutely loved every second of working with Ann's Garden. Ms. Laurie was quite possibly one of my favorite vendors to work with. I pretty much knew I was going to use her from the moment I started planning, as my aunt has used Ms. Laurie many times for business events. She also came very highly recommended to me by my hair stylist.

At first I was a little leery of flowers and why we should pay so much for them. My mom and grandmother had an absolute field day planning the flowers, and I'll admit that I did too. I never knew how much I loved flowers until I met Ms. Laurie! But still I wondered, is this insane we are paying so much money for flowers??? They only last a week or so, couldn't this be something we scale back on? I don't think I've ever gone to a wedding and remarked over flowers... how big of a deal are they? My aunt kept reassuring me that we would get what we paid for, and it would be absolutely beautiful on the wedding day.

Despite my leeriness, the end-result of Ms. Laurie's work was absolutely PERFECT. The already stunning Tremont Grand was transformed into a breathtaking wedding wonderland. it was ah-mazing. And my bouquet... oh my goodness. I wish my bouquet lasted forever and that I could carry it around every single day of my life! It was so beautiful and full, it was EXACTLY what I wanted... more beautiful than I ever could have imagined (and to be honest, I don't think I really did that great of a job telling Ms. Laurie what I had in mind, so she's like a mind-reader!). Every single guest commented on how gorgeous the flowers were, saying they were the most beautiful bouquets and centerpieces they had ever seen... let's just say that if Ms. Laurie is doing the flowers for your wedding, your guests will not forget how pretty they were. And all the bouquets and arrangements lasted for about 2 weeks after the wedding in water.

I will say if you are trying to plan the flowers on a budget, Ann's Garden is not for you (and Ms. Laurie will tell you that from the start). But she is worth every.single.penny.

As a mom to a recent bride I truly appreciated Ann's Garden. From the minute my daugter and I saw the display of flowers at a bridal show she knew that she wanted to have them provide the flowers for her weddding. We were extremely happy with the flowers and the amount of quality and thought Laurie and the team put into the final results. They were a blessing.

Laurie provided us with beautiful flowers. Some of the centerpieces turned out slightly different than what I was expecting, but they were gorgeous. She does not show you pictures of your designs before the final day, but has a lot of pictures of previous work. The prices are slightly inflated, but she is flexible to individual budgets.

BEAUTIFUL! Ann's Garden provided the flowers for our daughters wedding. We had the ceremony and reception at the Vandiver Inn. The flowers for the ceremony were just exceptional. I was worried about being at an outside venue for the ceremony, but Laurie adds those extra special touches and details that made the room look beautiful. The bridal and bridesmaid bouquets were just lovely. We had bowls of fresh flowers on all of the tables at the reception and the guests complimented us all day on how beautiful they were. I would definitely call Ann's Garden for your next special occasion.

The flowers for my wedding were absolutely beautiful! Laurie's creativity and use of the exact colors I wanted (including blue) were superb. The flowers were even more beautiful than I had anticipated. I would highly recommend using Ann's Garden as the florist for your wedding!

I got married May, 2010. Ann's Garden did all my flowers including my bridal bouquet, wedding cake flowers, all the arrangements, and table centerpieces.
I had originally signed a contract with another vendor prior to meeting Laurie, owner of Ann's Garden. Once I met Laurie, I signed a contract with her at our first meeting. Her creativity and years of experience gave me the assurance that she would do a fabulous job for me. Additionally, she is also a wonderful and easy going person. She is reliable and friendly. I gave Laurie the autonomy to design my flowers. We agreed on the colors and given my lack of experience in this area, I asked Laurie to come up with somehing that would give me that WOW factor.
To my surprise and I still could remember how pleasantly surprised I was when I stepped foot into the mansion on my wedding day and saw the beautiful arrangement on the table. It took my breath away. I saw the WOW factor. Many of my guests later confessed to me that they secretly touched the flowers to check if the arrangement was real. So many people took pictures with the arrangement. I then saw my wedding cake beautifully decorated with fresh flowers. The cake would not have looked so good had Laurie and her staff not decorated with flowers.
The Centerpieces sat on the tableswith prestige. Each one was prominent and gorgeous.

Flowers weren't a main focus of my wedding. I had met with three florist prior to meeting with Laurie and just was not excited about the floral decor or my bouqets at all for the wedding. I was even thinking of trying to save money from this part of the wedding and make my own bouquets. I decided to meet with Laurie from Ann's Garden, and I am so glad I did. I love her! She is such an amazing artist when it comes to her design and visions involving flowers! It was like she could read me like a book! I was so excited to see the bouquets and the centerpieces at my wedding! My bouquets and the girls bouquets were absolutely beautiful! I loved them! And the centerpieces were so amazing that I am still getting compliments about them three weeks after my wedding. I read some reviews on here that Ann's Garden is a little pricey, but I will have to disagree! The quality of the flowers and the time and energy that Laurie and her staff put it them to make them amazing is well worth the cost! Ann's garden is a must use if you want to have beautiful bouquets and amazing centerpieces at your wedding!

Laurie and her team transformed our vision into the perfect flower arrangements for our unique wedding. Beware that Laurie is pricey and flowers are one of those items that get thrown out!! With that said, we were truly in awe how beautiful every arangement was... Laurie's enthusiasm for our vision and color scheme was exciting and it was reflected in the product we received.

I was very happy with Laurie and her team. The wedding flowers were as exactly as I had envisoned! My bouquet was gorgeous, sumptous, and aboslutely breath taking! She really worked some magic and made my flowers look amazing! It was definately worth putting extra money from other places in our budget to be able to hire Laurie.

Ann's Garden was great, I met with Laurie in person once and just let her go to town. I'm no expert when it comes to flowers, so I let Laurie handle everything, I just let her know what kind of flowers I liked and what kind of flowers I hated. The day of the wedding everything was set up beautifully. Laurie decorated for the wedding and reception which was at the same place.

My only complaints were the bouquets. I blame myself, since I guess I didn't fully understand the description on the proposal. I was okay with the flowers being pomander balls, I just didn't realize they'd be hanging downward, while me and my girls slipped the ribbons around our wrists/hands to hold them. They were actual balls and on the inside was a styrofoam ball filled with water, which made them extremely heavy.

I also originally had all of the men wearing the same boutonnieres, but Laurie changed my husband's on her own, which turned out okay I guess, I just wish I would have known. We also weren't going to have flowers on our cake because I had a special cake topper. Laurie also took it upon herself to add roses to the top of the cake (I absolutely hate roses) but my cake topper turned out to be too big and the flowers looked pretty good. So even though I didn't agree with everything she put together, it all worked out in the end.

I thought she was a little pricey, but maybe I just had a lot of floral arrangments. I didn't think anything was too over the top, I had a small wedding of about 70 people. I should have shopped around, but I wanted to use all local businesses. Overall, Ann's Garden's did a great job and everyone commented on how beautiful the flower arrangements were.

Jaw-dropped. That was me when I walked into our reception room for the first time and saw the INCREDIBLE work of Ann's Garden. I honestly cannot say enough about how beautiful, professional, and simply amazing our wedding flowers were. Laurie has such an artistic eye and attention to detail and makes absolutely stunning arrangments. Our guests could not get over how beautiful the flowers were -- three months later, we are still getting compliments! Laurie made us feel comfortable from the start, and honestly, the end product completely exceeded my expectations. She was flexible throughout the process, allowing me to make several changes to our original plans along the way. Also, my mom passed away three years ago, and Laurie gave us a remembrance arrangement at no charge. It meant so much to me! The perfect way to honor and remember my mom on my special day. Ann's Garden created the most beautiful arrangements and bouquets for my daughter's wedding on October 17, 2009 at the Grand Lodge in Hunt Valley, MD. My daughter was recently married on October 17th, 2009. From the moment we met Lauri at the Timonium Bridal Show we knew she would make a very special day even more special ~~~ and she DEFINITELY did not disappoint us. When the wedding co-ordinator opened the doors to the reception at the Hillendale Country Club it was amazing and absolutely breathtaking. A moment I will never forget as a Mom, I knew it was everything my daughter, Alison, dreamed of and more. The flower arrangements were absolutely beautiful and turned the room into every bride's dream of magic and fairytale on her wedding day. Every detail to Lauri's work is impeccable. Laurie's talent as a florist is beyond any words in this review. She flawlessly overdelivered beautiful arrangements for our wedding reception and ceremony. Six months later am still getting inquiries and compliments about our florist.

My wife fell in love with Laurie's work at a trade show. I admired her work, but was very budget conscious for our 250+ guest wedding. Laurie was very willing to work with our budget and spent alot of time with us making revisions and demonstrating selections. She also provides services outside of weddings, such as anniversaries, Valentine's, Mother's Day, etc.

My only suggestion is before providing a deposit for Laurie's services, you inquire upfront about all service and delivery fees involved in set-up and arrangement. It will make conversations and decisions much easier with everything displayed in the contract and agreed prior to deposit. Looking back, a few difficult conversations could have been avoided if the $1,000 delivery fee was discussed in advance. However, the quality of her work far exceeds her fees. I've been to a number of weddings over the years and no other has compared. If flowers are very important on your wedding day, do not hesitate and consider Ann's Garden.

My daughter had specific ideas for her wedding flowers and Laurie was able to envision them and exceed her expectations. Five days after the wedding they are still beautiful and still receiving many compliments. I wish they could last forever.

Ann's Garden truely creates some absolutely beautiful arrangements. What I liked about Laurie is that she listens to you when you describe your "vision" for your wedding. She is very open to your ideas and works with you to create exactly what you're envisioning. We liked that she seemed like more of designer than a florist - in that she does not show you a book of arrangements and asks you to choose one - she asks what types of flowers are your favorites, the colors for the wedding, colors everyone is wearing, etc. to help her get a clearer picture. A bit pricey but she definitely does some very good work. I'd say you definitely get your money's worth though... my biceps were aching after having to carry my bouquet around for a few hours!!!

The flowers that Laurie provided for me were AMAZING!!! She really listened to everything I wanted and made my visions become reality. She and her staff were incredibly helpful. I could not have been happier with everything, and everyone LOVED the flowers. They were gorgeous!

Laurie did AMAZING WORK!! Our flowers were phenomenal and gorgeous. I had no idea what I wanted for the wedding, even after I had been to several different florists but I found a perfect bouquet after looking in several books of Laurie's work. She showed us some awards and work she had featured in magazines, but I am not one that is interested in what kind of awards people have won, I just know what I like when I see it and I loved the bouquet I saw. We talked about ideas, but Laurie seemed only interested in talking to me, the bride, not my mom, my wedding planner, or really my husband, the groom. I also noticed a clause in the contract that said substitutions can be made at the artists discretion and I wanted exactly what we talked about, so it was a little bit difficult getting Laurie to change the contract to say that, but she eventually did. Also, when I needed to add a bridesmaid bouquet at the last minute, she was more than happy to do so, free of charge, so that more than makes up for everything else. Again, her work was absolutely stunning, and my wedding was made absolutely perfect, thanks to the beauty provided by Ann's Garden.

Ann's Garden provided flowers for my wedding on October 3,2009. She and her staff are the most wonderful individuals I have ever dealt with. On my initial meeting Laurie was so helpful as I am not really familiar with flowers. I told her my likes and dislikes in flowers, what I had already purchased for the centerpieces, and before I could even say another word she had a complete vision worked out in her head! I absolutely loved working with this group of amazingly talented individuals, and the end result was breathtaking! I am still getting compliments on how beautiful and unique the flowers and arrangements were! Laurie and her staff provided beautiful arrangements and flowers for my wedding. If you want gorgeous flowers and creative touches, this is the florist to use. Some email traffic did get lost, so be prepared to follow-up, but it wasn't anything insurmountable. I would suggest you make sure you know exactly what the costs (particularly delivery) are going to be before making a deposit (we were told ours was non-refundable after the check cleared). It caused some unnecessary stress. Just educate yourself about the costs before committing (my mistake, not the florist's) and you will be quite happy with this florist.

We thought Ann's Garden was great. Our flowers turned out just as I had envisioned them. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the flowers were at the wedding. I came to Laurie with a lot of ideas and she used my ideas and expanded upon them. She made everything so easy for us, yet she made us feel very confident through the planning process. Laurie was straightforward about what would work and what would not work for my venue and wedding date and she took into consideration the style and colors of my wedding.

Lori Ann Myer is an artist, designer as well as a florist! She ensured she understood my style and type of look I was going for. She was well organized having pictures of my venue without any decorations...which allowed us to decide what we might and might not need. It was awesome! She was helpful and sweet. She reiterated that they prepare the flowers properly and treat them so they will not wilt or look bad on the special day. They were gorgeous and some of the centerpieces etc lasted all next week. I loved what she did for us and can not say enough good things about Ann's Garden! Thank you!!!!

I highly recommend Ann's Garden! Laurie dedicated so much time and care to my wedding. All of my guests complimented the flowers, and her centerpieces were amazing. They really made my ballroom come alive. My bouquet was very important to me (because it appears in so many pictures) and it was gorgeous! I can't thank Laurie enough for helping me to create my dream wedding.

Unfortunately, as beautiful as my flowers turned out.....it was not worth the headache, time or trouble. This was truly a disappointing experience. Laurie (the owner) made Ann's Garden the only vendor I've had to rate less than five stars. I couldn't even give her three stars, that's how terrible she was. Here are just a couple of the many reasons why she made this such an ugly experience.

Before the wedding Laurie started to show her true colors by avoiding my calls, sometimes rude and short when I was able to get a hold of her. She always seemed to be busy with shows she was working on in MD and never really had time to discuss much of anything with me. During my wedding, she claimed to have brought everything listed in our contract but luckily I had pictures to prove that several items listed in the contract and paid for one month in advance were not delivered. After she was caught in a lie, she tried to blame another vendor for her mistake. Three weeks after the wedding, and I was still having to deal with Laurie as it was very difficult to get her to reimburse me for items that were never delivered. Thanks to another vendor who stepped in, she finally reimbursed me.

Needless to say, if you run into the name "Ann's Garden" my best advise is to keep looking. She's great the first time you meet with her and hand her a deposit check but it's all downhill from there.

Laurie is amazing. She listened to me more than any other florists with whom I spoke, and she is kind and enthusiastic. She is creative and has wonderful style, and worked extra-hard to realize my "vision". I loved having her as my florist.

My wedding was on 10/25/08 at the Grant Lodge. I can't describe how beautiful my flowers were that night. Everything was perfect and highly exceeded my expectation.
