Anna Kuperberg Photography

Her work is amazing. I contacted her and she was prompt and polite with response and information. I never set up a meeting because she quoted $12,500 as her rate. Holy Moly! Good for her if she can get it; way beyond my budget. But gorgeous photos, a great eye.

So far, so good! I'm having Sara Remington, Anna's assistant, photograph my wedding and Anna will be doing all of the post-production work. Using Sara allowed me to book for almost half the cost of Anna's usual rates. Sara is primarily a food photographer for cookbooks (!) but does really wonderful wedding photography on the side. Anna Kuperberg is a rare talent, a true artist. She photographed our engagement portraits and our wedding in June, 2007. At our engagement photo session, even though we were beyond nervous and inhibited to the point of stiffness, Anna captured some amazing photos, which she turned around within a matter of three weeks. In our interactions, she's always quick to respond. Then, came the wedding! Anna was beyond amazing. She was constantly moving and watching to get the best shots, and all our guests loved her bright and quick-witted, hilarious personality. I've never seen a vendor give so much of herself for our wedding. And the photos turned out better than we could have dreamed. We couldn't be happier.

For a photographer of her caliber, Anna offers some competitively-priced packages that include online hosting and wedding albums, though her rates fall into the higher price category. The best way to get a sense of her voice and aesthetic is to visit her website and her blog. I highly recommend her!

Like the previous reviewer, I'm using Sara Remington, and I couldn't be more excited! For the quality of the photography, she's a really great deal.

Anna's work is awesome; she is unbelievably talented. Photography was the most important thing for us, so we looked through tons of wedding photographers' web sites. A few seemed pretty good, but when we stumbled across Anna's site, we were completely blown away. We just loved her unique style; her ability to capture the emotions and personalities of people is amazing. She is definitely not the conventional wedding photographer, so if you're looking for very posed, formal pictures, Anna is not the photographer for you. She takes tons of very real photos, that truly capture the essence and love of the people she is photographing.

Anna was also very easy to work with. We had her come to our house to do our engagement session, and although we felt self-conscious at first, she immediately put us at ease, was very encouraging, and took some really beautiful photos. The day of our wedding, Anna showed up early with her assistant, and went to work right away, snapping picture after picture, and really capturing all of the little details from the day. She was fun and personable, yet also completely unobtrusive. When she needed to, she took charge, efficiently directing people for our large group shot and our smaller extended family shots, but also maintained her professionalism and a sense of humor throughout it all. (This I really appreciated, as we've been to other weddings where the photographers appeared to be stressed out and rudely yelled at people during the group shots.)

We loved our wedding photos, and the album Anna designed for us is gorgeous. Her rates are definitely not cheap, though they are more than fair for her quality of work and are competitive with many other well-known photographers. Although she was a splurge, she was worth every penny!

Raw emotion and talent on film. Anna is an amazing artist that composes masterfully with her camera. She shot my own engagement photos and wedding, and the results were nothing short of amazing. She has a lightheartedness and whimsy that combines seamlessly with an eye for timelessness and style. She is worth every penny and then some.

Anna's work leaves me breathless. She is a creative genius! We've had the pleasure of sharing several clients together and I recommend her services highly! A true professional, consistent quality and I absolutely never tire of looking at her photos. A+++
