Anna's Flowers

My flowers MADE my wedding! Anna was so creative and she even let me make changes right up until the end when my headcount changed at the last minute! The pictures I have seen so far look so good and my flowers look great and really stand out in all the pictures. I really recommend her to anyone!

My wedding flowers were beautiful. Anna was very easy to work with and she was able to come up with some great ideas for keeping our entire wedding within budget. She has a lot of experience in the wedding business, for most brides this is their first wedding to plan and the help from Anna was greatly appreciated. She used quality flowers, and her designs were very unique. She knew exactly what I wanted without me having to tell her every little detail. She even threw in some extras that I did not expect. She came highly recommended to me, and I highly recommend her to you.

Anna was great. I told her what I wanted via email and she ran with it and added to it. Centerpieces were so beautiful I had a friend ask if she could steal my centerpieces for her wedding! Everything was lovely the only complaint I have is that for some reason the rose petals were never laid on the aisle, and I don't know if that was because they were never brought or what. But all the important things turned out beautiful so I am happy!

Anna worked with us to create exactly the flowers we wanted for our wedding. She was wonderful to work with and all of the flowers were beautiful!!

I was happily surprised when I saw our beautiful bouquets and arrangements on our wedding day. I met with Anna and basically left it to her to do something nice in red. She impressed me and the guests with the bouqets and arrangements down the center aisle as well as a chuppah. Some vendors are only mediocre, but Anna's Flowers was great and I think a money well spent! Many people complimented our flowers - all the work of Anna!! Thanks!

This was our one and only wedding disappointment. We hired Anna after interviewing several florists and thought she would be a great fit for our wedding. She totally understood my vision, and even did a mock up of the centerpieces a few months before. Her communication via email was prompt, and she seemed like she was very excited for our wedding. We thought we were her only wedding that weekend which is what she told us, and expected for the $4200 our flowers cost. They were very important to us and we had items like gardenias, orchids, and peonies which were costly, but worth it since we really wanted our flowers to be beautiful.
On the day of the wedding, she was 45 minutes late for setup. This would not have been a problem had she not volunteered to order some candelabras, pillars, and crystals from Rented Elegance as stands for her flowers. We had planned to have Rented Elegance just deliver and setup but she offered to place the order so we could have a discount. Since she was late and she said she didn't realize how much she had to set up, and she stated that Rented Elegance just "dumped" their items and forced them to spend more on the setup of that stuff than expected. (However, parties at Rented Elegance and our venue said that the Rented Elegance staff actually waited for her to show her how to do the setup, and even did some of it before she finally arrived). Either way, the flowers REALLY suffered.
Our centerpiece were over $100 each and were supposed to have a base of hydrangea with roses, peonies, some orchids, and hanging amaranthus. Well, the hanging amaranthus was on 1 freaking table, and half of the other centerpieces looked like they were just the cheap hydrangeas and nothing more. On top of it, she had to leave abruptly to go do another setup and she and her crew left buckets of water and flower stems on the dance floor that the Sahalee staff and my bridesmaids were left to clean up. And if that was not bad enough, she forgot the arrangements for the cocktail tables, only gave us 10 of the expected 14 bouts which caused us to have to use corsages (which were also supposed to be for the wrist, but were not made that way) as bouts, and our grandmothers, and the officiant went without flowers. She also forgot to hang another arrangement that was supposed to be at the entry of our venue.
Honestly, I really liked Anna and these mistakes did not really affect me on the big day but as I look at the pictures, I am bummed. We corresponded via email so I could ask her about these problems and her response was to blame the Sahalee staff, Rented Elegance, and take NO responsibility. We asked for a refund check and she said she would send it for the cocktail arrangements only, but that was 4 weeks ago and we have heard nothing.
Many people from the photos would never know that anything went wrong, but especially the issues with setup, missing items, and the lack of professionalism in taking responsibility after the fact was most frustrating.
Update as of 8/2- After many emails and letters back and forth, including photo documentation of the missing items, and discussion of pursuing our issues in small claims court, Anna did reimburse us for a portion of the missing flowers.

Fantastic quality, listened to exactly what i wanted and conveyed that in helping me with my flowers. Some of the flowers from the wedding are still just as beautiful as they were on the first day and it's been a month! Absolutely recommended, zero complaints!

I loved my consultation with Anna! She is warm, personable, and an amazing designer! She listened attentively to my ideas and my floral favorites, then pulled out her books of weddings she's done. She began sketching what she thought she heard me saying and was right on!

I received a very detailed proposal from her a week after. I did not end up using Anna as I really could not afford her (and the flowers/designs that I really wanted!).

If you are looking for custom designs, someone who will spend lots of time with you, and you have a moderate/flexible budget, Anna really will give you the best of the best! You will be the only wedding she is doing that weekend, thus her primary focus.

My wedding took place in early spring of 2009. Anna was really wonderful. The consultation went very well. I felt like she really was willing to work with me to get everything I wanted for the amount of money I had budgeted for flowers. She has a lot of very good ideas to make flowers affordable yet very classy and elegant at a reasonable price. I was suprised at the amount of time and work she put into not only the flower arrangements and bouquets, but the set up took a long time as well. She worked well with my venue even though the wedding reception right before mine ran over by 20 minutes. She just worked harder and faster and everything was perfect. I was so proud of my flowers. There was other people from other vendors asking who she was and for contact information because they were so impressed with her and her team!

Anna's Flowers was my favorite wedding vendor who I am recommending to anyone I know getting married. My co-worker had a well-known Seattle wedding planner who recommended Anna's Flowers to her, so that's how I found out about her.She is very responsive and emailed/called me back within hours each time! She is very friendly and willing to work within whatever your budget may be, which I found other florists less willing/able to do. She was also the least expensive. I asked for my bridal bouquet to be modeled after one on a Bride's magazine cover and she replicated it perfectly, despite the fact that it was WAY out of budget and didn't charge me extra.I was blown away when I saw the bouquets/corsages delivered - better than I could have ever dreamed!

My biggest disappointment on my whole day was my flowers. No one else would’ve of notice except of course my wedding coordinator who stated that “they were put together so poorly that I could’ve done a better job”. And she has done hundreds of weddings to know the difference. Let’s begin with the fact that I was very simple on what I wanted for my flowers. The centerpieces for the reception were supposed to be White Roses, White Hydrangeas, and RED Amaranthus. The Red Amaranthus never made it. My bouquet was just RED roses so that at the reception the RED amaranthus would tie into it. My husband boutonnière was one single red rose. His Boutonnière was so poorly put together that my wedding coordinator had to mend it together again with tape and hang it upside down on him. AND my flower girls flowers were so poorly put together that pins were sticking out of them pricking her during the ceremony. That’s real safe and professional. The flowers that were on the aisle at the church were small, not what I envision them to look like. When I emailed her after the wedding to tell her my concerns she stated that it was the weather’s fault because it was so hot that day and that I had WAY TOO MANY drop offs and the flowers suffered because of it. WHAT? Are you kidding me? I had my house, the reception and the church.. Humm I am pretty sure that is the norm of places to drop off flowers. When I asked her why the Red hanging amaranthus were never in the centerpieces she stated that it was in my contracted that if she couldn’t get them they wouldn’t be there. Umm don’t you think if that was truly in there I wouldn’t had a backup plan just in case since it was one of the biggest day of my life and I wanted pretty flowers…..!!!! Even went back and looked at my contract and no where did it say anything like that. (And yes I still have it to this day.) She made me so mad. She never fessed up to her mistakes. Nor did she accept that she was wrong. What happened to the customer is always right? She just took my money and ran.. I tried to make it very simple on what I wanted. She even had a business card of the center piece that I wanted it to look like except the amaranthus I wanted were red. So really? How hard can it be? Oh did I mention she was LATE too…!!
When people ask me about my wedding I tell them it was the most amazing day! Except for my flowers! And it has been 5 years and I am still bitter about it. So for all those brides to be out there. DO NOT pick this person to do your wedding unless you want a headache of a problem and your flowers not to be what you envision your wedding to look like. Trust me!! Oh by the way.. I never write reviews. But felt that this was way too important to not let you know. The only reason why I picked one star is because I had to put beable to post this or I would have never picked a single star for this person.
