Anne's Cake Creations

Anne was great about working within our budget, and our cake looked gorgeous...but it tasted horrible. It had the consistency of clay when we cut it to serve to guests and ended up throwing it all away. :(

Anne's Cake Creations provided me with the wedding cake of my dreams! During our first consultation together when I had a hard time verbalizing what I wanted on the cake, she was still able to draw out and plan exactly what I wanted! She listens to you very well, and the finished product is exactly what we designed on paper. She also had a taste-testing day where I came in and got to taste different cake and filling flavors to find what I liked. You can make each tier a different flavor if you want. She is very helpful in being honest to what cake batters and frostings are the best depending on what you want decorated on your cake. She was prompt in verifying what I wanted right before the wedding, and she performed a timely delivery of the cake to the reception center. Loved it!

I live in Ogden, my family lives in Salt Lake, and this cake lady lives in Provo, so you can imagine we wondered how we were going to get the cake to Bountiful for the reception. She transported the cake clear up to Bountiful for us and then assembled it as well for a very low cost. We loved the cake and it tasted great. For our one month anniversary we ate the cake and it still tasted amazing!

I really enjoyed meeting with Anne, and her help and flexibility in helping me choose the cake that was perfect for me.

In the end, our cake did lack one or 2 elements that we had requested (namely, color in some of the decorative frosting) but we had also won this cake for free and weren't too shattered.

The taste was amazing, and I would certainly recommend Anne to other brides, I would simply recommend a review of details before completion!
