signed up for this website to warn other brides! This store both in Belmar and in Bricktown are horrible stores. I bought a dress and was told that we could alter it the way i needed it. Once it came in they said there was no way they could make the alterations and that it would ruin the dress. I ordered a veil and when that arrived found it to be a plain piece of tool with a comb they charged me $350 for and wouldn't refund my money until I bought another dress with them. The second dress came in without incident. When I went for my first fitting I found my dress had been sliced up the back about 12 inches. It looked like someone took a box cutter to it. My maid of honor was overcharged for her dress and they were trying to bully her into buying extra length which was not necessary. They tried to give my girls dirty dresses because they didn't put them in bags when they pressed them the day before my wedding. Every time I went into the store there was someone new and the old managers had been fired or quit. I witnessed several brides in the Belmar store crying because their dress had been ruined or they made promises they couldn't keep.
The owner was extremely rude saying I couldn't make up my mind with the dress and how I was ridiculous for ordering two dresses. She is rude wouldn't take responsibility for her staff and hired incompetent people.
There are plenty of shops out in the world... find a good one it's worth it's weight in gold!

I had a fabulous experience at Antoinette Rose Bridal. From day one they were extremely helpful. I purchased my dress,bridesmaids dresses, flower girls dresses, my mom's dress, and even the tuxedos through this store. Really nice salespeople. No complaints here...

HORRIBLE STORES! My girls went through 4 different managers, and were bounced back and forth between their two store.
I even had the pleasure with talking to the owner herself, Antoinette... needless to say she is as unclassy as her stores. Nothing but problems with her and the dresses. She tried adding fee's on top of things that were already set and paid for. Then she even refused to release my dresses becuase she said there was unpaid fee... which was untrue. She will tell you, the bride, that you are responssible for ALL your girls dresses, and they YOU have to pay the balances.
Needless to say the BBB has been advised and I even had to go a file a complaint with the local police for Theft of Services... DO NOT GET YOUR DRESSES HERE, UNLESS YOU WANT A HEADACHE!!

This store is aweful, and the people that work there are rude and unprofessional. I was back home for 1 weekend (from Chicago to NJ)and my sister (bride) had a dress she found that she wanted me to see in hopes of getting the dress for her wedding (we were all getting different bridesmaids dresses in the same color). Since I was only in town for 1 weekend, i figured I would get fitted now, in anticipation of ordering from this store shortly, since i would not be in the area again until the wedding. I called this store that morning, and asked if they had a dress made by a certain designer. They said "we have the entire collection...just come on in". I drove 30 minutes to get to the store, and walked into a dark, gloomy and visibly dirty store. I told her my desire to see the dress and get fitted. This salesperson stated that she would not measure me or let me try it on unless the bride had registered there and had agreed to get all of her dresses there. I explained that i needed to get measured today since i wouldn't be in NJ anytime soon, and she refused. She walked me down to the basement (aka dungeon) and pointed to a rack and said the dress would be there if i wanted to look at it. She left. I checked the entire basement and they did not even have the dress!
DO NOT COME HERE. It is a trashy store with aweful service.

This store is awful!!! I went there with my bridesmaid to look for a dress for her. First it took ten minutes to even find someone to help us, then the lady told us to go to the basement and pick put whatever we wanted to try on. The saleslady never came down to help us with anything. For bridesmaids they have a very small and poor selection. After trying on only two dresses i asked the sales lady what colors they had in a certain dress and she assured me they have the dress in every color. After measuring my friend and filling out ALL the paperwork the lady showed me my color options. They did not have my color or any shade of it (green), in fact she was shocked that i would pick that color for a wedding and said that they did not carry anything in the store with that color. A month later i came in with my mother and sister to see what kind of mother of the bride dresses they had. They dont have a lot, but def a step up from the bridesmaid dresses. The salesladies fluttered around my mom as she was god, but ignored us completely. They do not have promotional catalogs to give away, they only have one for themselves. This shop is tiny, dingy and terrible customer service. Stay away!!!

When I chose Antoinette Rose as the boutique to order the bridesmaid dresses, the initial consultations were positive. The dresses we ordered were correct and they arrived on time. During the time between the order was placed and the dresses arrived, the store changed managers. When the girls went in to pick up their dresses (on three separate occasions), they were told that their balance due was more than they actually owed. Luckily, they had their receipts and the discrepancy was resolved. Two of the girls did not require any alterations to be completed. One of the girls preferred that the seamstress she had used for the past five years complete the alterations on her dress. The original manager instructed us to bring the dresses in the week prior to the wedding for them to be pressed/steamed, complimentary. When I called to make an appointment to bring the dresses in five days before the wedding date, the new manager was disrespectful, rude and short. She was shocked that I "expected" them to press the dresses for free, especially on such short notice at the height of prom season. When I explained that this service was offered to us, she told me that she was not accountable for what someone else "may have offered". When I offered to pay the fee, she told me that I was not giving her enough notice and that she needed everything done the next day before she went on vacation. I wrote a letter to the owner of the company a few months later but never received a response. I was very disappointed with their customer service.

I honestly would have to say this was the worst bridal shop I have ever been to. The person who worked there refused to help my bridesmaids and I unless we would confirm that we would order our bridesmaid dresses with them. I was interested in AfterSix dresses and asked to see the color book....she said, "Unfortunately I cannot help you unless you are buying with us." All the dresses in the store were focused on prom dresses and the worker was wearing a skin tight leopard dress. Not exactly a classy bridal store.
