I was at a Bridal Expo in Madison and they had a booth there. Both girls were wonderful. They were more then willing to help and very very nice. The dress I bought is beautiful!!! The beading is wonderful and the dress fit perfectly. I would recommend this vendor to anyone!!! They made my day beautiful. Thank you so much!!!

I love my dress! The people at the shop were very kind and helpful. Best of all they were not pushy and gave me the time I needed to decide on a dress! They never made me feel pressured or rushed. I would recommend them to anyone

Does a client need to schedule an appointment? How do the client appointments work?
Appointments are highly recommended! You will be meeting with the Designer herself. The consultation is FREE!
What is the typical turn-around time for a dress?
2 - 3 months. All dresses are hand crafted in Europe!
How often do you receive new dresses?
All the time!
Do you provide any guarantees/warrantees of any kind?
YES.
Do you have a seamstress onsite?

Does European Custom Design mean Expensive?
The answer is NO ! At Aphrodite Designs you meet with the Designer herself, which means no third-party sales people. This helps keep the price low and the quality high. Aphrodite Designs has very competitive pricing, in fact lower than other Bridal Shops in the area…
What if I don’t know what design I am looking for, or I can’t decide?
The Designer will walk you through the styles, according to your body type, height, preference, etc.; give you suggestions and help you make a final decision about that Dream Dress of Yours! The consultation is FREE !
What about the quality of the dresses?
ALL Dresses are hand crafted in Europe and made out of high quality European fabric!
How does Custom Design work?
The Designer takes the measurements, and after the Deposit is paid, the Dress goes into production. It takes about 2 months. If, for some reason, the dress needs alterations, Aphrodite Designs will pay for them.
I would like to try couple styles on, before I decide what design to go with. What should I do?
Aphrodite Designs has lots of Dresses for sale in stock. The variety of designs is amazing! You can find any type of dress with us!
Come to your appointment prepared: Shoes with he hill, pictures or magazine cutouts of the dress, your budget idea (don't try any $3000 dresses on if your budget is only $1500 ), and a second person for that valueble opinion!
When buying a Wedding Gown always verify your measurment taken by a sales person / consultant (in Aphrodite Designs case - the designer). Make sure the masurments are correct.
Don't try to overthink the design that you want: the more you try , the harder is to make that final decision. Most likely in the end you will end up with the first dress you liked anyway.
At the bridal shop, ask how long it would take to have the dress ordered, give yourself at least 3-4 months before your wedding to have the gown (Believe me, with everything that will be going on you will have enough to worry about). You don't want to be running around altering your dress 3 weeks before the Big Day...
ALWAYS ask how much it will cost you to alter the dress. In most cases the brides don't do that and end up with a $300 - $500 bill for alterations (in Aphrodite Designs case THE ALTERATIONS ARE FREE!).
And don't stress out too much about the dress. Sure, it's the most important piece of clothing you will ever put on, but it's supposed to be enjoyable too. Remember, you don't get married every week!
