Aquarium of the Pacific

I just had my wedding at the Aquarium of the Pacific in November. It turned out great!! I worked with Sarah Roberts and she did an excellent job of coordinating my wedding reception. She was easy to contact through email and phone. But, I did most of my corresponding with her through email.

Everyone loved the reception and had so much fun. I heard alot of great comments about the reception at the Aquarium. My guests thought it was different (in a good way) as compared to having a wedding reception in a hotel ballroom. Another plus was that my guests were able to walk around the Aquarium to view the exhibits.

Another thing that I really liked about having my reception there was the amount of space. The reception area was nice and spacious. Tables were not smashed together.

The Aquarium is a bit pricey, but I'd say it was very much worth it. Oh yeah, everyone loved the food!! I got alot of comments on how great it tasted. (I had the buffet option versus the individual plated option). There was more than enough food for everyone.

The Aquarium was an awesome venue for our reception! We had our wedding there on August 15th and our guests could not stop talking about how great the Aquarium was. We worked with Janine, an Aquarium event coordinator, and she was absolutely fabulous! She was extremely professional and always helpful. She was prompt and responsive to all our requests and questions.

Our cocktail hour in the shark lagoon was so much fun! Where else can you munch on appetizers and drink a rum and coke while petting sharks and stingrays?? Everything was set up beautifully and the food was delicious! My only regret was that I did not have the chance to eat more during the reception!

The Aquarium is a beautiful and unique venue. It's a thousand times better than any banquet hall! Even the wait staff that worked our reception was great! They were all so helpful and nice. I had to give them all hugs before departing at the end of the wedding =)

We recently held our annual awards dinner at Café Scuba in The Aquarium of the Pacific. I worked closely with Sarah Roberts to stage this special event that was planned and executed by Sarah with great care to detail. The cocktail hour and dinner event was very memorable down to the selection of the table linens and color scheme. Sarah worked with the chef to accommodate my request for a fish-steak duo that met everyone's high approval. The desserts were fabulous - the chocolate samplings per person.

I would highly recommend Café Scuba for a dinner event and would not hesitate to return for a future event.

We had a very nice time. Everyone really enjoyed themselves, the food was great and the kids had a blast! The atmosphere, entertainment, service, food, everything was fantastic. Thank you for making our event a great success!
