Chris and Mike at the Arboretum were such a pleasure to work with. When we had questions along the way, they would answer them immediately. They made sure everything was set up the way we wanted it to be. The food was delicious as well, so many people came up to us and said how great the food was. They went out of their way to help us and I will definitely use them for future parties. Love them!

Everyone at The Arboretum Club was MORE then fantastic! The event staff and wait staff were amazing! They all did everything and anything they could to help us! Even with my thousand emails and changes the sales team made it happen!!! We can't stop tallking about our wedding and all of our guests were amazed at how everyone working there was SOOOOOOOOO nice. The food was fantastic and always hot. Everything was clean and beautiful. Everything was on time and we had not even one flaw. If you are trying to decide where to have your event you must, must, must go check it out! Thank you to them for making that day one of the most memorable days ever!

The staff was extremely professional and helpful. Everything ran without a hitch. Our guests are still talking about the wonderful food that they had at our wedding reception!

We had our wedding reception at The Arboretum Club in March 2011. We could not have asked for a better venue. One of our favorite features was that they only hold one wedding at a time. The facility is gorgeous. The food was delicious; the staff was courteous and accommodating. Our guests raved about how well they were treated. Tracy and Chris worked with us to make sure that we had the exact reception we requested.

The Arboretum Club was wonderful! They were very professional and listened to our needs, and didn't try to sell us on unnecessary things like other venues do. They were very flexible with our budget and worked with us on everything that we wanted/needed. The food was amazing! (You have to try the pecan crusted chicken). Chris was a pleasure to work with and very accomodating and wanted to make sure that my day was absolutely perfect (and it was). I didn't stress at all working with her.

Tracie at the Arboretum Club was the most professional, pleasant, flexible wonderful person I've ever worked with. She made our wedding day experience perfect in every way. She took the time to understand what we want, she guided us and was there for us every step throughout the planning process and on our wedding day. The venue was elegant, very clean, they provided a bridal suite for me and my bridesmaids to get ready. Food was great, I would totally recommend the fillet Mignon, I received many compliments from my guests. We received excellent value for our money! Thank you Arboretum, you were wonderful!!!

Tracie is so responsive, I get an answer right away after I email her some questions and concerns. They are all very patient and help you along the way with everything. The place was set up beautifully (well worth it to have them do the set up for you). They are very accomodating and so nice. And I liked that because of the size, they usually only have one event for that time so you definitely know that all eyes are on you for the day. The food was very good, everybody enjoyed it. And they make sure that everything is perfect for you.

We had our reception there on August 20, 2010. They did such a great job setting everything up and the place looked AMAZING! Although we had some bumps in the road their staff was easy to work with and in the end everything worked out great.

I had my wedding reception at The Arboretum Club in June 2009. It was absolutely amazing, more than I could have ever dreamed off. First off the staff is incredible. Chris was wonderful and a pleasure to work with. They made it so easy and perfect. The food is delicious as well as the decor. I would recommend The Arboretum Club for any event but especially a wedding!!!!

The Aroboretum Club was great! From the beginning of the planning process to the day of the big event, they were so helpful. My daughter had both her wedding ceremony and reception at the Arboretum Club. We could not have been happier. Not only were they great at setting up everything exactly the way my daughter wanted it but when we had a traumatic event a few months before the wedding they stepped up and helped us plan and make decisions with kindness and patience. They were flexible as we changed our minds several times. They were there the day of the rehearsal and reception making sure that everything went according to plan. I would recommend this venue for a wedding or important event to all my friends. Thank you!

The Arboretum Club was fantastic!! The moment we walked in there we knew that it was definitely the place for us to have our wedding. The atmosphere is just beautiful and the room was absolutely perfect! Chris Snider is an absolute Angel. She worked with us so much to get the package we wanted for the price we were comfortable with. We got everything we wanted and Chris made that happen. Tracie is also amazing to work with! I feel like they're all my new friends over there, that's how easy they are to work with and get along with. They do whatever it takes to make you happy and comfortable. Always there when I had questions, responded immediately, and said "call us anytime you need anything" about 100 or more times!

The day of the event Tracie and Mike were there to make sure everything got started and German was there throughout the night. We were a little disappointed that German seemed a little MIA all night. We constantly had to hunt him down if we needed something. My photographer and videographer were escorted to their table in the lobby for dinner, and came to me about a half hour later complaining that they were still just sitting out there and hadn't been fed. Had to hunt German down to fix that. My Dad was supposed to get red jell-o instead of cake, that didn't happen, so I had to go and hunt German down again to rectify that. Being the bride I shouldn't have had to do those things. Never once did he come to me or my husband, or either of our parents to see if we needed anything or if there was anything he could do, so that was just a little disappointing. Sometimes he was great, but when it really counted, he was never around.

The food was excellent for the most part. I didn't get to eat much of it but at the tasting it was great and our guests are raving! The Bistro Chicken ROCKS!!!! We asked for our filet mignon to be cooked medium to medium well and most came out pretty rare so most of our guests didn't eat it, but other than that, everything else was great. I do think I got ripped off on my cake though. I had a pretty big cake and they cut the pieces paper thin and they insisted that there was not one piece of cake left over for us to take home. Who doesn't have wedding cake left over???

When the reception was over and the DJ finished playing his last song, the lights came on and the room was immediately attacked by their cleaning crew. I thought it was a little tacky that while I was standing on the dance floor saying goodbye to my guests they were literally tearing up the dance floor right beneath my feet. I think they could have waited like 10-15 min. while my guests left before they started stacking up chairs, tearing down tables, and vacuuming.

I would recommend The Arboretum Club for the most part. Their office staff is fantastic, even after the event, but the staff that's there the day of could use some pointers from the office staff.

The Arboretum Club was a phenomenal group to work with. My wedding was not during peak season, so the cost was significantly reduced. The food was delicious and I have a discriminating palate. The most significant thing about them is that they really moved to accommodate us during every mistake or oversight I had. Fortunately, they worked with my coordinator discreetly, and I never saw a single glitch the whole night. Beautiful, and well worth the full cost.

We only had a reception at the site. The room was beautiful with the rented chiavari chairs. Standard linens, silverware, plating were nice enough to use and save money. The service from the beginning (coordinating) to the night of the event was great. Overall experience was positive. My only hesitation was that the food was average.

I can't say enough good things The Arboretum Club In Buffalo Grove, IL. From my first initial meeting with Chris down to the day of the wedding, they were a delight to work with. Chris worked within out budget, and even threw in a few "perks" that I could not afford, but she comped for us if we would book with her. They always answered all of my silly questions and request before the wedding. The day of the wedding, our consultant was Laura and she was very thorough and organized. We held our ceremony there in their outdoor tent and she had everything timed perfectly. The waitstaff during cocktail hour and dinner was top notch and were very attentive to us and our guest. The food was delicious and because it's set upon a golf course the view is so pretty too. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to plan an event..top notch! Great food, great liquor package (w/out paying premium prices) and excellent staff!!!!

I have held not one but to personal events at The Arboretum as well having worked there hundreds of times and one this is always true, They are the best.

The Arboretum offers an intimate country club setting overlooking a fantastic golf course view. The staff at the club is more than willing to help you create a day that is all about you.

The Arboretum Club is sucha great venue for both ceremony and reception. Their staff is fantastic and the place surreal. I highly recommend it.

Essence photographers love shooting weddings at the Arboretum Club. Tracy and Chris are so organized and always have the room set up & ready just as the bride expects. We love it because when the bride arrives, she is elated at how gorgeous her room is and not disappointed they forgot something. Not to mention all the photo opportunities they have on site. Many of our brides don't bother stopping at a park in between the ceremony and reception. Instead, they go directly to the Arboretum Club and take their pictures. It is nice because the bride and groom have more time, they are more relaxed, can see their guests sooner, and we always get beautiful pictures!!

Not only have we worked at The Arboretum Club numerous times, but we've hosted our own events there as well. Chris and her team of event coordinators are very detail oriented. The food is delicious and the banquet staff is polite and attentive. I highly recommend The Arboretum Club for your special event.
