One word: Perfect! I chose Adam and his band from reviews on this site. They exceed the 5 stars, they were a 10 across the board. People are still talking about our wedding, and Adam made it. I was beaming from cheek to cheek, even when the officiant was late, Adam handled it with grace! Perfect. Just perfect! Everyone danced even though we had a tv airing the NCAA final games! Now that's impressive! I ant recommend them enough! They played during the ceremony and cocktail hour and overtime for the reception! Flawless! I urge the nine piece ensemble. Again, number 1 in my book and we had a huge age range from 13-83! Amazing!

We used AFTER PARTY BAND from Around Town for our wedding and they were AMAZING! We were so torn when trying to choose our band since a lot of them only have videos online and we couldn't see them perform in person. The band sounded exactly like they do on the videos on their website. They knew what songs would get everyone on the dance floor and we had huge age ranges at our wedding. The band was also accommodating when we wanted songs for our wedding ceremony and first dance that weren't on the list. Very professional and would book them again if I needed a band for anything else!

I really don't know what we can say that hasn't already been said about how great Around Town Entertainment is. These other reviews are spot on. Adam and his band are FANTASTIC! People at our wedding could not stop coming up to us and telling us how great the band was. They kept everyone dancing all night long. Also, after the wedding, one of our guests told us they like Around Town's version of our wedding song better than the original! Around Town learned a lot of songs for us and played nearly all of the songs we had additionally requested off of their song list...as well as all of the songs our guests requested. From the very beginning, Adam was amazing to work with. Incredibly quick turnaround on e-mails and gave us some helpful advice when we had questions. He and the band have incredible enthusiasm and it really shows in their performance. BOOK THIS BAND! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

Around town was awesome! Everyone had a great time dancing, and the band sounded great. Adam was very responsive and easy to work with to plan all the musical arrangements from the ceremony to the cocktail hour and through the reception. What was most impressive was their ability to learn and master new songs, as well as flawless covers of the most current dance hits (not an easy feat with all the digitally synthesized sounds these days).

We would recommend AROUND TOWN to anyone with a large mix of younger and older people, looking to keep everyone dancing and having fun at their wedding!

Around Town MADE my wedding. They are so incredibly talented, fresh, impressive.

My guests came up to me all night to say what a fabulous band I had. The even shouted for an encore at the end of the night!

The band sounded great, played everything I wanted, learned new songs, and were just professional, prepared, and so enjoyable to work with.

I have been speaking with Adam all year about my wedding and he's been so responsive and helpful. He has offered me tons of guidance, and helped me build a music plan to fit my needs.

I really couldn't have been happier. They are TOP NOTCH!!!!!

My husband and I and our families LOVED having Around Town play at our wedding. Not only did they keep our guests on the dance floor the entire night, but they were also extremely accommodating of our special requests. While they already had a repertoire of Jewish "Hora" songs, my parents requested that they learn about 10 more Hora songs not too many weeks before the wedding, and all the lyrics were in Hebrew. Adam and his band did an incredible job learning these brand new songs, and during the wedding my parents mentioned several times how incredible of a job they had done. Aside from the Jewish songs, Around Town did an excellent job with all the pop, rock, and old school songs we had asked for. MANY of our guests told us that this was the best wedding band they had ever heard, and one of my friends even asked me if I knew of any live performances coming up because she wanted to go to one. This band is truly worth every penny, and we are so thrilled to have found them!

I just wanted to email you and thank you for going above and beyond our expectations yesterday. Everyone was asking us where we found you guys, and that you were the best that have heard or seen yet. I am so happy that everything worked out so well and we wanted to thank you. Everything was stress free and you were so accommodating to our requests. Around Town Entertainment did the most phenomenal job at our wedding reception - everything was pitch perfect, and all of our guests were raving about how wonderful the music was. They got everyone up and dancing. Adam is extremely responsive and professional to work with, and he did everything I asked for with regard to music choices. I only wish we had more time to dance! I would recommend them to everyone.

Around Town was everything that you could want from a band. The music was lively as evidenced by the constant dancing, all of the performers were professional, they sounded terrific. The band knew that the wedding was about the bride and groom and not about themselves as many of the larger bands seem to think of themselves. During the planning stages, the band leader was especially nice to work with and amenable to all requests, at a fair price. They provided music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.

Amazing. Our wedding was almost a month ago and not a day goes by where a friend or family member doesn't bring mention how good our band was. Around Town Entertainment's website has some videos, which are good, but I would encourage anyone to check them out live (we saw them play at a showcase before we signed them up), you'll be amazed. From the beginning, Adam was very easy to deal with. No negotiating, no costs that popped up out of nowhere - everything was very straight forward. We were asked to provide a list of several songs that we wanted to hear, several songs that we definitely didn't want to hear and we were told that the band prefers to read the vibe of the room and fill in the rest of the songs througout the night. We had a very diverse crowd at our wedding with a very broad age range, and EVERYONE was on the dance floor all night long. The band did a great job of mixing current hits, some older songs and then everything in between. Our legs were hurting the next day. All around, they provided great energy and successfully balanced getting the crowd involved but not being cheezy about doing it. One of the nicest things was that I had a few very brief moments to talk to Adam during the night, generally as a song was transitioning into the next song (they never left the dance floor, constant music), it was really apparent that he was having fun. The whole band seemed to be having fun. It's nothing that I thought about going into the band-choosing process, but the band and the guests seemed to feed off each other and I really think that the band was important in finding a way to make an already happy evening even better. I don't have enough good things to say about these guys, worth every penny and then some.

We used the band "After Party" (one of the Around Town Entertainment bands) for our wedding on October 1, 2011. They were amazing - had everyone on the dance floor, really stuck to our preferred song list, and people could not stop saying how great they were. Adam Michaels was extremely easy to work with, very responsive to any questions, and really went the extra mile to make sure everything went smoothly. I'd really recommend them if you're looking for a great wedding band.

I had contacted several bands before finding Around Town Entertainment. Our wedding was being held in New Hope, PA. When I contacted Adam Michaels he responded very quickly and answered all my questions.
The day of our wedding I was so nervous but when I heard the band playing our wedding song it was so amazing. I could not have been more happier with Around Town Entertainment. I have received so many compliments after our wedding about them, even our venue in PA was so pleased to have had them there, all the servers and cooks even came out to dance at the end, they just couldn't help themselves.
I would recommend this band to whoever wants to have a fabulous group perform at their wedding or any other event you may have. I know I will use them again. Hands down the best I've ever heard..

Having a full dance floor during a hurricane must say something about the band! Around Town is amazing, talented, reliable and they definitely know how to keep the party going. They played such fantastic and versatile music throughout the night. I loved their version of our first dance song, even more than the original. Guests were complimenting the band that night, and they still are.

Adam Michaels was personable, responsive and really great to work with. He and his band made my wedding everything I could have imagined!

I could not have been happier with Around Town Entertainment!!!! They did an absolutely amazing job at my wedding! They had all of our guests on the dance floor from start to finish. I work for a DJ company and am affiliated with multiple Long Island Bands but I would never think twice about hiring Around Town Entertainment-they are the aboslute best most versatile musicians around!! My huband happened to find their website on line and we were blown away-we went to see them live in the city and pretty much signed the contract right on the spot! Adam and his crew are the most professional people I ever worked with! My wedding party and guests are still raving about them! My wedding memories are unforgettable thanks to Around Town Entertainment! When we played back our wedding video we were blown away again by how amazing they sounded so we recently went to see them again live in the city! They are amazing, best I ever heard! Around Town Entertainment had to be the best band I have ever heard at a wedding. They rocked the house at my daughter's wedding. The dance floor was full all night. Very versatile. Music for everyone. The energy they put out was off the chart. My guests are still calling me to tell me how much they loved the band. I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed this I guarantee!!!!

The energy and the vocal talent on the stage really made my wedding an INCREDIBLE party. Adam Michaels, the musical director of Around Town, is wonderful. He is so personable, honest, sweet and an absolute pleasure to deal with. He helped me tremendously with planning my wedding timeline and reassuring me when I freaked out about the most irrational things. It was nice knowing that I could put my full confidence in Adam and the band and to know that I would not be let down. The band was even better than I could have imagined, and I like their versions of more than a few songs even better than that of the actual artist who made it famous! I don't think that there are many bands out there with the caliber of talent and personality of Around Town Entertainment.

Around Town Entertainment was everything we could have hoped for and more - they're a FABULOUS band who had our 180-person reception dancing all night long. everyone from our younger friends to elderly relatives made a point to tell us how great the band was and how much fun they had (we still hear this, even more than a year after our wedding). Adam was great to work with leading up to the wedding as we figured out what we wanted, and so helpful in the (stressful!) hour or so with logistics before our guests arrived. We can't praise them enough - Around Town was a huge part of why our wedding was so incredible. THANK YOU!!

We love this band! They are absolutely incredible. We had them as our band at our wedding and then decided to throw a huge retirement bash for my Dad, a year and a half later, just so we could have them again! They are really great at catering to personal requests (and will even learn a handful of special songs for you) and they know how to keep people on the dance floor the entire evening. After both nights, I could hardly walk the next day because my feet hurt so much from dancing! Also, Adam is great. He is friendly/flexible/professional and aims to please. All in all - they are incredible. We highly recommend them and can't wait to have them again for our next big party!

We are professional wedding photographers and we hear A LOT of wedding music. Adam and his band are amazing! Always get the crowd dancing and great music selects. So much better than a DJ could ever be!

Around town was great! Each vocalist has such a wide range that really no matter what they play, they do an excellent job! All of our guests kept saying how great they were, and Adam is really nice and definitely responds to the crowd. I felt like he could read my mind during the night and know when I wanted something else played....they even threw in a few extras at the end -- highly recommended!

The band is the lasting impression that your guests will have of your wedding, and I felt 100% confident that Around Town left our guests so happy. The feedback we've gotten is overwhelmingly positive. They completely read the crowd and played the perfect mix for us. The variety of vocals is what makes this band so delicious! Around Town Entertainment was absolutely fantastic. The band is incredibly talented and entertaining. Adam was also a great MC and wonderful to work with. We got many compliments. The only problem was the last half hour had strange music choices, but we didn't much care. A bit expensive, but well worth the price.
