Becky just flat out Rocks. Our engagement pictures were beautiful. But the wedding pics, OMG!

Becky and Josh did our wedding and... I started crying from the second page of the proof albums. They caught everything I wanted, and even things I didn't know I wanted. Art of emotion is absolutely accurate. They captured the joy, the laughter, the tears, and the love.

Everyone who I've shared my album with is just in AWE, and so am I. I had EXTREMELY (and frighteningly) high expectations, but Becky and Josh exceeded them in everyway.

Plus, Becky's personality... she's like a mom ( a sane mom) and was just so helpful in my planning. She referred me to otheer vendors, and listened to me when I felt something was wrong with a vendor (I had two vendors I replaced before the wedding) giving me good advice and a lot of help. She is endlessly patient, and so very nice. My zipper broke (just broke) and Becky put down her camera and spent 45 minutes in the bathroom keeping me (and everyone else) calm and actually sowed me into my dress. Talk about above and beyond!

I can't imagine having had anyone else capture our day.

There are SO many decisions that go into planning a wedding...costs, budget, location, theme, weather, style, family, colors, flatware, vendors, vendors...and vendors!!!

While some of the decisions that went into planning my wedding conjure the "devil is in the details" phrase (a headache to say the least), there was one that was not only easy to make but actually delivered what previous work promised, and more!
Before meeting with any, I looked at so many photographer websites and always found myself back at Becky's each time. There was just *something* about her pictures that captured my heart. You could tell there was someone with a deep soul behind the lens.

When I found out that her pricing was in my budget I pretty much knew she would be our photographer and when I met her that was confirmed. Becky was the first and only photographer I met with. She is not just a photographer, she's a true artist. While her photos speak for themselves, you just have to talk with Becky for a few minutes to know that she is someone you want by your side on your wedding day! She is experienced and calming and knows how to deal with just about any situation that may come up on the big day.

Before the wedding she always was quick to return emails and to answer any questions I had...even after we signed a contract! Her communication was very appreciated! On the wedding day she arrived on time and was such a beautiful presence to have there. I was pretty nervous but she, and her daughter Erika, both had such a way about easing me into feeling comfortable when the cameras were in front of me. Yet, at the same time they were never "in the way" or rude to anyone just to "get a shot." They were respectful and courteous to guests and everyone involved!
Becky and Erika went out of their way to take care of us that day and beyond! I was pretty sick, unfortunately, on my wedding day and at one point Becky pulled a power bar out of her bag to revive me and even gave us a ride to the reception hall to avoid the walk when I was not feeling well. She also bent over backwards to make sure I was happy with everything and to this day (4 months after the wedding) has continued to respond to all my emails and provide friendly advice!

And finally, the most important thing about Becky is that not only is she a fabulous emotional support to have as a part of your wedding, she is AMAZING at what she is there to do...to take pictures!! Her photos of our wedding are just gorgeous! Magazine AND museum quality!! Every time I look at the proofs I see a new detail that I missed before...a texture, a color, an expression, a reflection...her photos are rich, beautiful and creative! Thanks to Becky and Erika we have the memories captured from our wedding in an elegant and striking expression of the day. Art of Emotion was quite a find and a wedding decision I will always feel gratitude and blessed for having made!

Fadi and I would both like to thank you and Erika for such a special day and letting it stay in our memories forever. We're not sure we can put into words how beautiful and amazing our photos are. There isn't one we dislike. You captured the day perfectly and it will stay in our memories for all the years to come. We will continue to recommend to you all of our friends and family.

Becky & Erika were amazing photographers for our wedding! We had such a wonderful day having them capture every beautiful moment. I can't say enough about Becky and Erika.

When visiting possible venue sites, I would browse through potential photographer books. Every time I chose the best photo book of the bunch and flipped to the back page to pencil down the potential photographer's information, it stated "Art of Emotion". We knew we had found our photographer. That was even more clear when we finally met Becky. She is a wonderful person, highly professional, and is very easy to work with.

I'm usually shy in front of cameras but both Becky and Erika made the experience easy. Not to mention the care they showed for me on that day. Becky made sure I remembered to eat and drink .. she even picked me up a milkshake on the way to the reception hall because it was such a hot day.

I must say, we have gorgeous photos of our wedding. I'm usually not the type to keep looking through photos but I can't help myself -- All of the photos are beautiful. And each photo told a story like a work of art.

We are very happy that Art of Emotion was part of our wedding day.

Becky and Erika shot the photos at our wedding this past July and we couldn't be more thankful for selecting this talented pair. They captured our day with such gorgeous photos and they didn't miss a beat. When we got the album we got to see so many moments that we didn't see in person (she even captured my husband's shy parents dancing). I got to see photos of my husband getting ready, the guests arriving, and my bridesmaids getting ready - all of which I couldn't see since I was hidden away until the ceremony. It was exciting to look back on the photos and feel like I was reliving my day all over again. We also got the traditional posed photos with the most breathtaking backgrounds - Becky and Erika didn't overlook a single detail. Becky took the same care with our engagement photos. We have already talked about returing to Becky for more photos as our family expands and I highly recommend The Art of Emotion.

I could go on for hours about how much I appreciate Becky and Erika. Their skill and artistry impressed me throughout: from our first meeting, to our engagement portrait session, on our magical wedding day, and even afterwards during our later correspondence.

They really put this anxious bride and photo-phobic groom at ease. I chose not to have any bridesmaids, but I consider Becky and Erika my honorary matron and maid of honor for how well they took care of me!

We are amazed by our photo albums that are filled with images that look like fine art. And not a single important moment was missed by their cameras. They are all-stars in my book and I can't recommend them highly enough.

The staff at Art of Emotion really did a FANTASTIC JOB of capturing our precious memories into the Art of Wedding Photos! No detail was left out. My wife and I interviewed a few photographers in a very small of time as we had only 3 months to hire a photographer. Becky, quickly met with us and let her work do the talking. My jaw dropped after viewing some of her work. Her prices are reasonable, but her work is way up there with the "very best" money can buy. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the outcome. In the end she even tossed in a few extra large photos for us. In fact I recently hired Becky again to take a few more pictures of my wife, as she is now pregnant. I knew of no one else better able to capture the smiles and memories we had to offer. Becky and her staff at Art of Emotion, surely know how to capture photos and turn them into ART. Becky and Josh did our wedding and it was a wonderful experience! They were so helpful and professional and knew what to do without getting in the way. The photographer was one - if not - the most important vendor we had to book and we knew instantly when we met Becky and saw her work, that we would be in good hands. I worked with Becky and her daughter awhile back at Monterey Plaza. From the moment I met Becky, she welcomed me as part of the team. As a videographer this is soooo important.

We love to collaborate with the photographers for creative ideas and we are always respectful of the shot as much as is physically possible. The Art of Emotion team completely reciprocated and were equally courteous. Creatively we really clicked and came up with some winning shot concepts.

For the client, a healthy relationship between photographer and videographer is a Win-Win. Great video, great pictures.

Becky and Erika are amazing at what they do. When planning our wedding, hiring the photographer was the biggest decision I had to make. Photographs are the one thing you want to be totally proud of and they are the one source you have to look back on to remember all the details and moments that made your wedding so special. Becky and Erika surpassed my expectations. Both our engagement photos and our wedding day photos were absolutely beautiful and we couldn't be happier. We didn't expect to have so many that we LOVE! Having 2 cameras up close and personal at certain times isn't the easiest thing for me...but with Becky and Erika, they made us feel so comfortable and at ease that we hardly even noticed the cameras! Art of Emotion has always been our choice of photographer even two years before our wedding. It was the way they captured beautiful emotions on photographs, as we have seen on their ads, website, as well as samples of their work, that confirmed they were the perfect choice for our wedding photographer. When we received our photographs from both our engagement and our wedding day, we were not disappointed, we knew we made the right choice. Becky and Erika did such a wonderful job of capturing everyone‘s emotions -- from myself, my husband‘s, our friends, and families -- without being intrusive. There was not a moment “we heard of” that was not captured -- moments such as our ring bearer placing the ring pillow on his head, a bridesmaid crying during the ceremony, or even a guest doing the “caterpillar dance” during the reception. Our albums definitely tell the complete story of our wedding day. Almost a year later, friends and family still talk about how beautiful our pictures are. The photographs Art of Emotion took of us left an imprint in people’s memory as it had the very first time we set eyes on their work.

Art of Emotion captured our beautiful wedding day along with the emotions and memories I will have forever. Becky and Erika were not only our photographers on our wedding day but felt like a part of our family before, during and after the wedding. I lost my mother who was also my Matron of Honor just 4 months after our wedding. Not only did Becky capture my mother's "best day of her life", she captured moments of her life I will always cherish. I love to look at my beautiful wedding album from time to time and their amazing work brings me back as if it were just yesterday. Love you guys!

Erica and I had a great time at our wedding and a lot had to due with our photographer, Becky. She was very professional but at the same time relaxed and fun to be around which I, as a photographer, think is very important because it allows you to feel comfortable with the person taking such intimate pictures. Not for a second did I worry about if this or that got taken care of; The pictures were awesome!
