I loved my wedding cake it was beautiful and Delicious and the price was below I expected. So happy I found the right person (Martha) to make my special wedding cake. I highly recommend her!

My wife & I had been to many different cake tastings & really couldn't decide on one. A friend of ours has been using artistic cakes for their children's birthdays & had great things to say, so we decided to check it out. From the 1st conversation, we knew that this was a 1st class business that made you feel right @ home. There were no feelings of being swindled or cheated. It was a very fair price foran amazing cake. The taste was delicious, the presentation was beautiful, & the price was best bang for our buck. We did go over our cake budget, but it was well worth it. I will for sure use artistic cakes in the future & will highly recommend them. Great service & greatly appreciated that artistic cakes was apart of our happy day!!

Martha is hands down THE BEST you will find. She made our wedding cake to perfection and she was able to cater to a vegan and gluten free couple. Amazing baker and an amazing person. If you want the best, don't look any further, you found her.

A caterer whom, unfortunately we couldn’t use because of the venue recommended Artistic Cakes. I’m glad we called Martha, owner of Artistic Cakes. She was such a joy to work with.
Cake Tasting: She worked with our available time. We had to let her know what we wanted to taste prior to meeting with her, so she can prepare for the tasting. We chose 2 basic cake flavors, 2 icings and 3 fillings. Two of the fillings we chose to taste were cappuccino, mocha. This important to remember and will show just how thoughtful Martha is.
My mom, dad and I met with Martha at her home, as her new store wasn’t ready yet. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw that she had prepared more than we asked for. We all agreed on the cake flavor and icing. My dad liked the mocha filling with raspberry, but my mom and I liked the cappuccino with raspberry filling. Again, this is important to remember. She showed us from albums of some wedding cakes and found one she can use for inspiration. One week prior to the event, we met again to make sure we hadn’t missed anything. When we entered the tasting area, she had a cake with mocha filling and icing for my dad. She said she remembered 2 months ago that he liked the mocha very much. My dad was so happy and brought a big smile on his face.
The delivery and set up of the cake was on time. We brought flowers for her to decorate the cake and she did so without charge, where many florists would. The cake was amazing both in looks and taste. She worked well within our budget and even threw in a few extras without charge. I recommend anyone looking for a wedding cake to give Martha a call, you’ll be glad you did.

Martha is amazing and her cakes are absolutely delicious! My then-fiance (now husband!!) and I met with Martha at her cake studio on two occasions--one time for cake tasting and the second time to finalize the details. Each time she put so much thought and preparation into each meeting and helped to guide us through the process. She was responsive to the many, many emails that I sent her in the months leading up to the big day. Martha is so sweet and patient -- I cannot thank her enough for being so helpful!

Now let's talk about the cake...also amazing! She has a keen eye for what looks good (afterall, she's made so many fancy cakes!). During one of the consultation meetings, I showed her a picture of the idea that I had for my cake, and on the wedding day when my husband and I cut the cake, there it was! It looked so beautiful that it took us a few seconds before we could cut into it -- it was too pretty to eat! The guests loved the cake. The mousse filling was perfect, and the chantilly icing was the perfect amount of sweetness.

From our married friends, we were told that we would have a bunch of leftover cake following the wedding, but we didn't have any....Guests loved it that much!! I kept on telling my husband how nice it would be to enjoy Martha's cake again, so he ordered a small round for us to enjoy. It's just like how I remember it....Amazing!!

Martha is AMAZING!!! i love her and the outcome of my cake! I didn't get to taste my cake at the wedding, but all my guest said it was super good! Artistic Cakes was the first and last vendor I went to for a cake tasting because I knew I wanted her from the moment I meant her. She is the sweetest and kindest person you will meet and a great additional to any bride's vendors list. She worked with me to create my simple and lacey cake and she offered her opinion to make it better. When I received my topper (from etsy.com) it was smaller than I expected. I was scared it was too small for the cake, but Martha was able to use the topper and add additional decorates to even out the topper and cake. I was SO happy to see this when I arrived at my venue and saw what she did for me. Every little thing she did for me, made my heart melt a little because she's a wonderful person inside and out. I had three tiers with different flavors. My recommendations: yellow cake with bavarian cream & fresh strawberries, double chocolate, and coconut cake with pina coladad filling and pineapples. Artistic Cakes was by far one of my favorite wedding vendors. She was very attentive to details and felt it was her personal responsibility to get everything perfect!!!! If you are looking for an amazing cake vendor, you can stop searching! Martha was so great to us. The person who was originally supposed to make our daughters cake flaked out on us at the last minute and we were so stressed. I contacted Martha, who went above and beyond to help is out. Even though she had another cake for that week, she stiill was able to help us out. We had to do everything over email and phone as we were not able to meet due to the time crunch. She made the most beautiful, delicious cake that we have ever tasted. Everyone at the recepition just kept remarking on how elegant the cake looked and how good it tasted. We have nothing but good things to say about Martha! She is caring, warm and easy to work with. She listens to what you want, makes suggestions and pays great attention to detail. The cake the martha made for my wedding was so pretty I didn't want to cut nor eat it!! I promise you you will not regret her!! Martha was very responsive to our needs and requests. We tasted cakes at several popular locations and they were bland and the fillings and frosting were mediocre. When my mom found Martha and read her reviews we were very excited to try her cakes. All of the cakes we tried were delicious. The marble cake was especially surprising because it had more flavor than we were expecting. Marble cakes are usually average tasting but she makes an awesome marble cake. Martha was always very nice to us and very patient. Although we had the final decision she made recommendations that were truly helpful with regards to pairing and cake design. Martha is very reliable and it was a pleasure to do business with her. I look forward to recommending her to friends and family and having more of her cakes.

It is always such a pleasure working with Martha. She is the sweetest person you can work with. This is the 2nd time ordering a cake from her. And both times she has provided such beautiful cakes. But this last order was my wedding cake and she wowed me it was so elegant and glamourous. 

 Her cakes are not only beautiful but are delicious. She provides a range of flavor and they are all so good, but I must say my favorite is yellow cake with pina coloda. The day of my wedding many of my guest even got second pieces because they wanted to try the other flavors.

We were referred to Martha by a friend and we're so glad that we chose her. She did our cake for our wedding and had an idea for an art deco look. For our meeting, my husband and I brought over some pictures of some art deco cakes and told her that we were open to her creativity. Martha came up with some sketches and we collaborated back and forth on some ideas. In the end though, we told Martha that we fully trusted her eye and to make any changes as she felt as needed to finish. In the end, the cake was not only beautiful, but also very good! We went with red velvet cake and cream cheese filing and for the second flavor, double chocolate cake with fresh strawberries...so yummy! Choose Martha! :)

Don't go any were else you have found the person who will have guest raving about your wedding cake!! I can't say enough about Martha Acosta and her "Artistic Cakes." She is an amazing artist and designs her cakes with such beauty and elegance that you will be so delighted. My husband and I had a small wedding and didn't think that a two tier cake could be so beautiful but Martha did just that. And to top it off the taste of the cake was amazing, highly recommend the chocolate cake it's to die for. Martha was an absolute pleasure to work with! I initially located her on WeddingWire and called to inquire about her services. She spent ample time explaining everything I needed to know about cakes. I was a very "hands on" bride and wanted to know every detail and she took the time to make sure she understood my design of the cake.

On to her tasting: She was very flexible and agreed to meet me late in the evening (as I get out of work late). She prepared several different variations of the flavors I was interested in and explained how it would taste with each frosting, filling, etc.

Presetation and Delivery: It was impeccable!! She delivered it without any gliches. The cake was beautiful and even more beautiful that I had envisioned.

Martha with Artistic Cakes is awesome! It was a great experience from the first time we met her for the tasting to dropping off the cake stand after the wedding. Our wedding cake was delicious – I’ve had several people commented that it was the best wedding cake they’ve ever had. Not to mention that it was beautiful- one of my photographers even commented on this and I’m sure she’s seen many, many wedding cakes. We went with a simple design for our cake, but every detail on the cake was perfect! The price is also extremely reasonable – Martha actually ended up giving us a slightly bigger cake in the end because it would look better without charging us a penny extra. Martha was amazing to work with! Originally one of my cousins was going to make our cake for us. She unfortunately fell ill and suddenly passed away three weeks before the wedding. Not only were we grieving for her, we also had to find someone to do our cake.

Martha came to our rescue! She took us on last minute and provided the most delicious cake for our wedding. My experience with Martha from start to finish was amazing. Martha is the sweetest person you will ever work with. She communicated with us every step of the way. She is full of great ideas and the end product not only looks amazing but tastes amazing. Martha did a cake for my bridal shower, lemon with a lemon custard type filling, everyone died over it! It was so cute and matched perfect with the colors. Martha also did our wedding cupcakes/cake. They were perfect! Again, everyone loved them. I will tell everyone and anyone to use Martha as their cake vendor at weddings, showers, birthday's, anything because she is that great! Weddings, as we all know, can be super stressful....working with Martha is probably going to be the only thing about your wedding that ISNT stressful. We had an outdoor wedding and the cake/cupcakes lasted the entire duration of the ceremony/reception. No melting...nothing (and it was definitely warm out). Thank you Martha SO much for everything. You are awesome and I am so so happy that my co-worker told me about you. I am positive had we gone with anyone else it wouldnt have been as good of an experience and the end product wouldn't have been as good either. Loved, loved, loved our cake! We chose to work with Martha because one of my best friends had Martha make her wedding cake and it turned out awesome too! Martha is so easy to work with and so professional. She was the one who was on top of all our appointment times and provided insightful design recommendations. Our cake was something that she had never done before but she did all the research to make it happen! She was my favorite vendor to work with for our wedding. Additionally her prices are reasonable for the product you get in return. My coworkers stil rave about how yummy and pretty the cake was. You won't regret choosing her for your special day!

I actually found Martha from weddingwire.com.... and what a find it was! I really went into the cake experience having no idea what I was looking for. Martha was super helpful and in teaching me all about the details of a wedding cake. I started with telling her my budget and she worked out some options that fell within my budget. I found that she was honest every step of the way and included many options that would save me money. She was extremely easy to communicate with and get in contact with. If you already have an idea of what you want, it should be real easy to design your cake and tell her exactly what you have in mind... but if you're like me, then you have even more reason to go with Martha. We had a great cake tasting experience with my fiancee at the time and mom. I really loved her setup! She is extremely professional.

It is clear that Martha has an eye for beauty and hands for baking! Her cake came out beautiful! It was honestly prettier than I ever imagined my cake to be! She even let me borrow a pretty silver platter as a cake stand for a completely refundable deposit. Martha just went far and beyond our expectations for a wedding cake artist. She was so easy to bond with... I don't know many brides that hug their cake artist when they would meet up to discuss cake details! Highly recommend!

I must preface this by saying that I am not a cake person. After tasting Martha's cakes, she changed my mind. Her cakes are so moist and the ingredients so top notch, that it will blow your mind. Her attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond is what seperates Martha from the rest. You can tell that she is passionate about her job. Her enthusiasm is infectious and it translates directly to her cakes. You would think that a cake of this quality would be very expensive, but its not.

Martha took the time to meet with us on a couple of occassions to create the design and taste of the cake. She even gave us a taste testing at no charge. Try doing that at any other cake shop.

i was really a last minute person and did everything for my wedding in the week of the wedding. Everyone I called was not really friendly on the phone, some needed two weeks notice or needet to tal to the manager and so on. But Martha was allready really competent and very sweet on the phone and invited me to come by right away and told me Yes I can do the cake for you sweety. Thats exactly what i needet to hear. She made the whole cake with her whole heart. I loved it. You cant get anyhing better and she made an exellent price. Thank u Lord :-)

Martha at Artistic Cakes made a 50th Wedding Anniversary cake for us for a party we recently hosted and it was perfect! She created a cake that was mindful of the original wedding cake, but updated and very beautiful. She was also able to accomodate our need for a lactose-free cake that tasted great. First of all I want to say WOW!!!! The cake Mrs. Martha made was AMAZING. I felt sad when they were cuting it of how beautifull it looked. She took the image I had in my head and made it a cake, that's just how it looked, it tasted aloooooot better than it looked. She went out of her way to find the decorations we wanted for the cake and made a gorgeous cake and the pricing was just perfect for our low budget.

Thank goodness we found her because her cake quality, taste and attention to detail far surpassed all the others. After my first phone conversation with her, I knew she was different!

She absolutely loves making cakes and it shows in her work. I've never met someone not only SO detailed and committed to making a perfect cake, but so unbelievably creative as well! Martha was so nice the first time I met her, she had everything ready for me. She was organized and thoughtful. I am so glad that my wedding planner had suggested her to me. I had explained to her what I wanted my cake to look like, and even emailed her a picture of something similar to it. She made my cake beautifully. I did not want too much on my cake or too little. When I saw my cake it was perfect. The inside of my cake was so delicious, and moist. What I loved most about my cake was that my colors were nicely, and the flowers that I had dropped off to her came out nicely. I loved it.

Martha was such a sweetheart to work with! You can tell that she puts a lot of time and care into her work. We requested a flavor she never made before, and it came out great! We had tons of guests comment on how good our wedding cake was! When we told her that we didn't get to try one of the cake flavors at our wedding, she offered to make us a small one to pick up when we returned the cake stand.

I came to Martha with a design in mind and she really made it come to life! She made a wedding shower cake that will leave lasting memories for my family for a lifetime. There aren't enough words to describe how fantastic Martha of Artistic Cakes was! She is just the most incredible person to work with--so engaging and fun to talk to from the very first meeting. Her cakes are delicious and her presentation is always beautiful. From the first meeting, you get a very warm feeling from her. Her cake tastings are one of the best I've been to-- beautifully laid out, relaxed, and just a high-end feel without the high-end costs! Martha is warm and super friendly, makes you feel just like family the whole time you are there with her.

What I loved the most about Artistic Cakes is how fluffy & moist the cakes were. You cannot beat the flavors!! I don't love to eat cake personally, but at the tasting (and wedding!) I could not put my cake down. Her cakes are soooo good!

Martha is an absolute doll, I was referred to her by my wedding planner and a friend who had used her. Her cakes are so moist and delicious and I truly believe her cakes are made with LOVE!!! My wedding was very vintage and she was able to capture that vintage look with lace and a beautiful broach. My wedding was two months ago and I am still recieving compliments from friends and family about how exquisite my cake was. Martha is such a pleaure to work with. My cake design required her to order about 300 tiny sugar flowers then hand paint each one. Her work is phenomenal! Martha's cakes are extremely affordable. Martha was a dream come true. I am so glad we were connected to her by our wedding planner. Having Martha work with us to design our wedding cake was fantastic. She is passionate about her work and about making every cake perfect. The entire process with her was smooth and stress free. The ingredients she uses are fresh and tasty. Our wedding cake was delicous and absolutely beautiful! Our guests enjoyed it and so did we. We made a point to eat a slice our wedding night in case there were no leftovers. I only wish we had been able to have a slice of both flavor cakes we had ordered.

I had a great experience with Martha! She's such a sweet lady and truly treats you like she's making a cake for someone who's a part of her family. After searching and doing a few other cake tastings, which were very limited in choices and WAY over priced, I came across Martha, who had done a wedding cake for someone I know. She's such a GREAT value for money and she's got a HUGE selection of fillings and flavors. She does a great tasting session and works well with other vendors as well. Martha is such a sweet lady. She is an excellent cake maker in every way. The cake itself is the most delicious cake you will ever have - it is so moist and rich. Her fillings and frostings are so delicious as well. Her creativity is amazing, and with my wedding cake she did a perfect job. I could not have asked for anything better. My husband is lactose intollerant so he cannot have milk, and she made the cake without milk and it turned out better than anything I have ever tasted. Everyone loved the cake! She is a quick responder to emails and phone calls, and will make sure she gets everything perfect for the cake for your big day. Martha from Artistic Cakes made our cake. She did such a good job I will break this down into three sections: Look, Taste, and Martha.

Look: The cake was absolutely beautiful, we had a really hard time cutting into it, thankfully we have pictures otherwise it might still be intact. During the initial meeting she advised us based on what we had in mind. We went with a square 3 tier, smooth looking finish cake with our wedding ribbon wrapped around each tier. Martha also incorporated our green button mums into the cake. It was so perfect.

Taste: I hate wedding cake, it is almost always gross, and either tastes dry or overly processed. Not with Martha’s cakes, it was so good. My aunt who does not eat cake had two pieces, one of each flavor after I told her she just had to try a bite. Everyone had seconds of cake, something I had never seen. Everything was fresh, homemade, and delicious.

Martha: She is so great, she prepares the tasting in such a way that you get to try all the different types of cake, filling and frosting. She will work with you and advise you based on your budget. If you are looking for a beautiful, tasty cake but do not think you have enough in your budget please see Martha first. Going for a tasting anywhere else would be a waste of time, she is simply that good.

What can I say that others have not already said about Martha? Please save yourself the hassle and energy of looking anywhere else for one of the most important aspect of your wedding! I am as indecisive as any bride can be but from the very first moment I spoke with Martha over phone, I knew exactly without hesitation that she was THE ONE even without tasting the cake! I have to believe that this was one of the best decisions that I've ever made on the first try. If I haven't made you a believer yet, please check out my winter themed cake! Pictures just do not do it any justice. Trust me, I broke down in tears when I saw my cake, that's how beautiful it was. How's the taste? Absolutely incredible! It's been two days after the wedding and I'm still asked if there are any leftovers! Now after the wedding I find myselft trying to find an excuse to celebrate with another cake! To sum my whole experience in one sentence with having Martha as our wedding cake designer, I would say... SHE IS AMAZING. When we first met Martha, we immediately became so comfortable with her. Her hospitable personality, charming humor, and her knowledge about types/flavors of cakes immediately reassured us that she is the right person for us. Trust me, we've been through 6 different cake vendors and only she lived up to our expectations. Our cake tasting experience was wonderful! She had so many flavorful cakes and even more amazing fillings that it was so hard for us to decide on our cake flavor. We eventually decided on Almond cake with strawberry filling and Coconut cake with pineapple/pina colada filling. After the decision was made, and up until our wedding day, Martha kept great communication regarding the cake. Which is absolutely what I needed, as I was a nervous bride. All of our guests loved the cake!! She made the cake so beautiful, that I cried. Yes, I cried. The cake was so moist, and tasted great! All of our asian guests and non-asian guests loved it! To top it off, she gave us an amazing price for such a beautiful, wonderful, lovely cake. Thank you so much Martha! The cake was actually for a baby shower for about 25 people. It was beautiful two layer cake and tasted delicious. Everything I could have wanted. Everyone loved it.

If you are soon to be bride and looking for best service def contact Martha, she was very helpfull and her prices are very good. She listened to all my concerns, I even asked her to make an eggless cake, which she did and it turned out great. Trust me girls, her cake has quality.

Working with Martha from Artistic Cakes was an absolute pleasure! She takes great pride in her work and offered lots of helpful advice. She has a background in interior design and has studied with professional bakers, so her eye is not only ont he aesthetic of the cake, but the quaility as well. We loved the fact that she only bakes one cake per week and puts so much of her heart into each cake. She has every flavor available and if she hasn't made it before she will find a way to do it. In addition, she makes everything from scratch! Our cake was absolutely beautiful and best of all... delicious! One of my guests told me it was the best cake they ever had. Martha personally delivered our cake and made sure it was setup correctly, placed in the shade so it wouldn't melt and even told our caterers that the table was uneven with one leg in a drain. She was very concerned that the cake would not topple over. I give her my highest recommendation. She will make your cake and wedding beautiful and unforgettable!

After meeting with 7 cake vendors - including some of the biggest names in Orange and LA County - Artistic Cakes was for us an easy choice to make. NO ONE else can compare to Martha when it comes to her dedication, passion for making your vision come true and her communication. In the beginning it was her communication that instantly won me over - without even meeting her or tasting her product. I had asked a simple question from the 4 finalist - 2 anwsered 2-3 weeks later and one never did. You usually hear back from Martha within an hour or less. Which for me as a busy bride was soooo important to me. She by far surpassed all our expectations and on top of all that, she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and has very affordable rates. Her cakes, frostings and fillings are delicious. We were blown away by the finished product. All of our guests gave us huge compliments - thank goodness we had ordered enough for seconds because they wanted it. And yes Martha - we did realize you threw in for free some extra filling and the special border and top layer - you are the best !!

Martha was an absolute pleasure to work with! Ray and I weren't exactly sure what we wanted out of a cake and she was extremely helpful in guiding us towards what would be the best for us. She went above and beyond the call of duty, adjusting the size of the cake so it would present more beautifully (at no extra cost!!) and adding edible pearls in lieu of ribbons (which turned out to be so much more convenient and prettier on our icing than the ribbon would have been). Martha is a perfectionist when it comes to the cake design, and she truly is at the top of her field. Beyond presentation, the taste of her cakes, fillings, and icings (the gourmet whipped cream is to die for!) are incredible! My hubby and I are still trying to come up with reasons to buy another cake from her! On a personal level, she is very warm, friendly, and helpful. When we decided the cake should be delivered (only a couple days prior to the wedding, when we realized the flowers wouldn’t do well overnight) her normal delivery driver was already occupied, so she had her husband drive her down with the cake the day of the wedding. When they arrived the venue was still locked up, so Martha took it upon herself to hunt down a groundskeeper and have her unlock the kitchen for her so she could tuck the cake into the fridge for safe keeping (we had a very heat-sensitive icing) while she waited for Ray and the priest to arrive. When my husband arrived to find her and the florist waiting to get in, she calmed him down and persuaded him not to tell me and cause me more stress (smart woman!). Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for personal attention, as well as, a beautiful (and yummy!) cake, you won’t be able to find anyone better than Martha. She truly loves creating cakes and dealing with people, and it comes across in her work. Be warned though, her cakes are addictive and you’ll find yourself trying to come up with reasons to order more!!!

Oh, our priest also said that it was the best cake he'd ever tasted...and he's been officiating weddings for over 30 years (in case you needed a bit more convincing!).

Let's just say the several positive reviews are indicative of Martha's professionalism. We went to 3 cake places. Tom Girl Baking Co., Amazing Cakes and the Cake Box..all were not impressives and took out the personalization out of the process and overpriced. Then I found Martha! She was such a delight and our cake was absolutely made with love. She had the best tasting setup and her enthusiasm made our day. We were so blessed to find her. While planning our wedding, the wedding cake was one of the thoughts that made me hyperventilate. We were on a very low budget but I wanted our wedding to look like we spent a million bucks on it. Well, needless to say after researching and researching bakeries, I came across Martha on weddingwire. I decided to give her a chance and so my fiance (now husband) and I went to a cake tasting.
The moment you meet her, you fall in love with her. She was friendly, happy and her cakes were amazing. She was willing to listen to my every concern and when I gave her my budget, she was more then willing to work with it. She did more then I ever imagined any cake lady or bakery would do. She gave me her ideas and I would throw them back with some of my ideas, she would draw up a plan and she was always right on to what I had described (and I am a person who fumbles with words when describing what I want) I was in amazement with her. I gave her my cake topper which had no base along with this piece of cardboard, unsure how it would stay at the top of the cake. She looked at it and said "its perfect!" at first, I was like what? Because I was almost sure she was going to ask me to get another topper with a base but instead, she did all the dirty work and glued, craft and decorated my piece of cardboard base... I couldn't even recognize the brown base I had given her. amazing.
It is funny because everything with our wedding was run by family, from making the food to the friend who did my photography. The cake was the one thing I had to step out and find a "vendor" to make it. But after getting to know her for the months previous to our wedding and getting a hug each time I saw her, I honestly felt like she was just another family member helping out with the wedding.
Now to the cake itself... the day of my wedding, I had my sister-in-law pick up the cake and I did not see it until the reception. The moment my husband and I walked in to our reception together, I saw our cake and I will be honest, I was almost in tears. It was everything I wanted, the color, the decorations, the topper.. everything!! Everyone was talking about the cake, everyone! I couldn't believe how great it was. We gave our little disposable cameras at each table for guest to take pictures of whatever they liked and every single camera took at least one picture of the cake. Then when it came time for eating the cake, it was devoured, completely devoured!! It was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. I would write more but I think I could just go on and on about how wonderful she is and her cakes. This is the one decision you will not regret or even have to think twice about it. If you want an amazing cake, she is the best in business.

If I was to make any criticism, it would be that Ms Acosta is significantly undervaluing her own work. Her cakes are truly masterful, and she is charging prices more suited to novice bakers. If she charged what she was worth though, there is no way we could have afforded her!

Martha was professional, sweet, caring and a great person. I asked her to make me a sugar free top cake and 100 cupcakes. Martha did a lot of research on how to make a sugar free cake and make it taste good at the same time, she did an amazing job, not only was it yummy it was beautiful and she even surprised me with an extra SF cake with a different design. Martha is a wonderful person and she made the most amazing cake for our wedding. Our theme was a sand dollar and she took time out of her days to figure out how to make one out of fondant. It was something we really wanted and she made sure we had exactly what we wanted. I went to other people before I met Martha and everyone else wanted to sell you a cake but she really sat down with us and wanted to know what we wanted and even gave us a lot of good advise. For example, the day before my wedding day she calls me and said that the wedding cake topper does not look exactly like we would have wanted it to so she had taken off the tule that was at the bottom of our topper and added the same designs that was on the cake. It looked even better and that had to of taken a lot of extra time and it was still the same price. Our cake had a lot of detail with mermaids, sea shells, and pearls just to name a few. Her prices were much cheaper than anywhere else; believe me I was a bargin shopper when it came to the wedding. She went out of her way to make it what we had imagined it to be. Not only that but the cake was delicious! We had less people at our wedding then expected and all of the cake was gone. I would recommend Artistic Cakes to anyone looking for the best wedding cake and the best service ever!

Martha prepared a miniature wedding cake for our daughter's bridal shower, and it was a real hit. We contacted her on Sunday before the Saturday shower and made arrangements for her to make it the following the day. The price was reasonable. The look on our daughter's face when she saw the cake was priceless. We have already given Martha's contact information to someone who attended the shower. I decided to go with Artistic Cakes and Cookies because a friend of mine used them for her wedding cake. The minute I walked into their store I felt at ease. The owner Donna went over every detail that I could have/want for my wedding cake. She explained the difference between the fondant and buttercream frosting. She also allowed me to try both types of cakes, which were amazing. She also gave me great advice about what size cake to use and showed me some amazing designs for the cake. I also wanted to get a grooms cake for my fiance and Donna explained how we could do that and even showed me a grooms cake that she was working on. All in all, I would highly recommend Artistic Cakes and Cookies. Donna is very professional and the cake is unbelievable. You won't be disappointed.

Martha is WONDERFUL!!! We ordered our wedding cake from Martha and it turned out perfectly. It was both beautiful and delicious. We had lemon cake with cheesecake filling and also yellow vanilla cake with caramel filling. Both flavors were very scrumptious! Martha is SO kind, flexible, easy to work with, helpful, and talented. To start, I would like to say that words alone could not begin to express the gratitude we feel towards Martha and Artistic Cakes. If you choose not to work with Martha, now that you have found her, you are truly robbing yourself and your guests from a truly memorable cake experience. She was caring, helpful, understanding and our favorite person to work with during the planning of our wedding. My fianc� and I were both recently laid off when we found Martha. Not only were we pleasantly surprised that Martha�s pricing was much lower than many of the well known bakeries in the area but her cakes tasted so much better that we couldn�t pass up the opportunity to work with her. The cake tasting blew us away. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted, but I gave Martha a couple of ideas in case the dulce de leche was not what we were expecting. Martha not only prepared our selections, but a few others that she thought we might like just in case; and unlike the formal bakeries, we were able to take cake home and continue to enjoy it (for those of you interested, the dulce del leche was magnificent). The challenge of designing our wedding cake came when my fianc� and Martha started collaborating on ideas together. Not only was Martha willing to try things she had not done before, but scoured the internet to find materials to make my fianc�s dream come true. Leading up to the wedding I can honestly say that my fianc� and I were more excited for the cake than any other single facet of the reception. The cake was so beautiful, it was like something you would expect to see in a fairy tale story. My fianc� and I received more compliments on our cake than on any other feature of the reception. I would, without hesitation, recommend Martha and Artistic Cakes to anyone that is looking for a memorable and magical cake experience. At a time when dealing with vendors often means phone calls and emails, Martha�s personal interactions and personal touch are truly refreshing and make you feel important to the process. Her caring and considerate nature exudes from her passion of making cakes; you should consider yourself fortunate to be able to encounter it for yourself.

All I can say is WOW!!!! When they brought in the cake my jaw dropped. By far one of the most beautiful cakes I have ever seen and I have been doing weddings for 23 yrs.
