Amazing and delicious! Theresa was very accomodating and a joy to work with.We ordered cookies as favors and I would have wished that the decorating on them came out a little less messy but they were still wonderful!

Wonderful customer service! We got a large sample of cake to bring back for those not available for the cake tasting. Also, they only do one wedding cake per day so you know you are getting individualized attention and they listen to your every detail. Whatever you want, they will create! Would recommend to anyone who wants great service with attention to detail at a fraction of the price!

I selected an extremely ornate design from Martha Stewart's Wedding Cakes. Ashely's promised they could replicate this cake for about half the cost of other bakeries in our area. We also ordered a coordinating groom's cake. At the tasting and consultation, all went very well. We loved the taste, and Theresa assured us these cakes were no problem. She drew a detailed description for the decorator and even got a copy of the book to refer to the photo of the finished cake. I was so excited and couldn't wait to see it. When I got there, I was so disappointed. The wedding cake had gaps between the layers and was off-centered. The decorating was something I could have done at home. The color was nothing like what we asked for, and even the design was only slightly similar to the directions we'd left. The grooms cake was downright horrifying. Instead of delicate blue flowers and dainty carrots (it was a carrot cake with a bunny couple topper) we got giant neon orange blobs covering the top. The cake itself was leaning to one side, and the icing didn't even completely cover the sides. We were so embarrassed to show this special surprise to the groom. Although it did taste heavenly. After the wedding my mom returned to the bakery with detailed photos to show Theresa. She agreed that this wasn't at all what we had asked for and refunded more than we had ever expected. She was extremely professional and courteous. In the end, I would still return to them for cakes in the future because I'm sure Theresa will take care of any problem. And the taste was great.

My cake was beautiful, but at the end of the wedding I only spent maybe three minutes with my cake. I didn’t even eat more than a bite of cake until the next day. That being said, if you want to spend lots of money on something you won’t really get to see, but want your guests to see something great, get a cake from Ashely’s Pastry shop. People were mailing me pictures of my cake for weeks afterwards. The cake was expensive, but since people loved it, and since the slice I had the next day was great, I would say that it was worth it. How expensive? It was more than my husband’s suit.

Theresa and her team were lovely and wonderful to work with. They understood that we didn’t want a typical cake, and helped come up with an original dessert that met the needs and wants of my husband and I, as well as my mother. I think they do a lot of work for the price they charge, they contacted us with updates and they always returned our calls. They obviously have lots of experience working with wedding parties, so they were able to handle all the questions and issues we threw at them.

I loved my wedding cake. We wanted something simple but beautiful, and Theresa and her team were able to make it happen. Our appointment was great, she showed us pictures of different cakes that they had baked, and helped us come up with something unique to us. Our cake was vanilla and chocolate, three tiers, and it was decorated with a mixture of fresh and icing flowers. It was the most beautiful and tasty cake ever. We also ordered cookies to be brought out later while everyone was on the dance floor. The cake was gone at the end of the night, with most people have 2nd slices.
