Ashton Place

They were the greatest place! The food was the best food at a wedding or anywhere(all our guest also said that), the people there are so nice and accomidating. The prices were great and they have alot of extras you can add to make it even more spectacular. We can't say enough good things about the place and people.

I worked with Jackie and she was very helpful and kind. She was very responsive to my requests and very prompt with returning my phone calls and emails. The day of the event everything was just as I imagined it would be. The food was great and the service and staff were great to work with.

Ashton Place appeared to be the run-of-the-mill reception hall. They met all my needs and exceeded EVERY expectation!! Every person, servers, bar tenders, everyone went above and beyond!!! I would use Ashton Place 10 times over!!

Ashton Place was awesome. We worked with Jackie Casale, she was amazing and went above and beyond for us. She made sure everything was perfect; even things I never thought of. Something that I definitley recommend is upgrading to the premier package because it is definitley worth it. There is so much included when you upgrade, that it would be stupid not to. She made every detail wonderful and all of my family and friends commented as well that my wedding was fabulous!!!

By far the best hall we had looked at for our wedding. They had provided everything I had wanted for our reception at such a reasonable cost. I loved the chocolate fountain and chair covers and the food was awesome... When I walked into the room on the day of our wedding with all the candles lit and everything set up the way I dreamed.... I almost cried... It was what I dreamed and so much more.

Ashton Place was an amazing place to host the reception to our wedding. We searched through many places in the 60527 area code and they were by far the top competitor for pricing. The food was exceptional and they offered a large selection of choices for the money we spent. Also, Ashton Place is unique in that you spend a bottom line amount to book a room. We had 3 out of the 4 rooms, so we had to spend 20,000 but could do it any way we wanted (food, cake, decorations, balloon drop, ice sculpture, chocolate fountain, etc). They were extremely helpful with all the planning. The only downside is that they can have up to four other events going at the same time as yours. If your big concern is being the only bride on the grounds, then you might want to think twice about Ashton. However, if you are about getting the most for your money, then Ashton is the place for you!

Great staff! At the night of the event, you have a person who will assist you in any way which was great. You never had to search for somebody the night off. Also they included the rehearsal for free which was great. The were very nice to both me and my entire family. Great package for the price!! Also, they have no hidden costs or fees.

Ashton Place was amazing. The place looked wonderful when we arrived. They catered to my every need and my guests had a wonderful time!! Highly, highly, highly recommended.

Looking back there are a few complaints that I have about the Ashton Place:


There were very few food choices in each price range. I wish that there were a few more options.
They messed up the cake. While it looked fine (which is perhaps the most important) the cake's filling was wrong.
When I told them that I wanted to sub out the ice piece for lights and tulle on the balcony I did not figure that they would put another ice piece on the dessert table. (I think that they are tacky and overdone).
The ability for guests from other parties to come to my reception and get free drinks was something that I found enormously tacky.

Overall though it was a great place to have a reception. The staff was very attentive and was able to make sure that all of my requests were fulfilled. The venue its self is gorgeous especially the room set aside for the bride and the groom.
