Angelina was professional from the day of the trial to the day of the wedding. At the trial, she listened to what I wanted and always made sure I was comfortable with everything she was doing. She took time to create the look, I never felt like she was rushing to get it done. At the trial, she even took time to talk to my mother-in-law and sister-in-law about how they wanted to look on the day of the wedding. All of my communications with Angelina were prompt and all decisions and reciepts were confirmed by email. At the day of the wedding, Angelina made me look amazing, still myself, but a more glamorous me!

Angelina is extremely good in creating the perfect eye shades. Her blending tecnique makes the eye so natural, but yet very outstanding. I have tried a lot of other artist and couldn't get the effect that I wanted. As soon as I was completed the Trial w/ Angelina, I had to immediately reserve my service time w/ her. It was the exact look that I had discripe to her. As for the hair, she has made an exact duplication of the look from a magazine which I have requested for, it was so precise....LOVE IT!On top of her great services, she also carries a wide quality accessories and veils. I was able to make my selections with out having spend a lot of time searching for these items...which most of us (brides) doesn't have, since we are so tied up w/ the to do list. Angelina is just the best!! Brides if you are in search of a great Makeup Artist, Angelia is the one for you!

Angelina is awesome. She is very professional and accommodating. I love the look that she gave me. My wedding dress was very simple and elegant and the job she did complemented it flawlessly. I was going for a 40's kind of look with a bird cage veil and she helped me pull it off perfectly. Angelina has a great attitude, and I appreciate that she always responded to her emails promptly and communicating with her was effortless. Thanks, Angelina!

Angelina and her staff were amazing and truly wonderful to work with. From the moment we met at the trial I knew she’d do a fabulous job beautifying me and my girls. She was responsive and flexible to my ever changing contract. On the day of our wedding she showed up earlier than anticipated with two assistants, and was ready to go in no time. I arranged for my five bridesmaids, my mom, mother-in-law, and our Officiant (who was a dear friend), as well as myself, to be done up. Each beautician took their time to really perfect everyone’s hair and make-up. When something was a little off, everyone was more than willing to jump in to make the necessary changes. They didn’t pack up until I had given the final ok on everyone’s look and despite the large bridal party, we finished early and in perfect timing for pictures. All day long people came up to me and expressed how fabulous my hair and make-up looked and the girls agreed. Looking over some of the pictures, I’m so glad I went with Angelina; she did an amazing job and everyone looked fabulous! She was a true pleasure to work with and she did a fabulous job. Even my mom was happy, and she’s a tough cookie to please.

I hired Angelina and her assistant to do make up for myself, 6 bridesmaids and my mom. They both did a great job with hair and make up. Nice and easy to work with!

I was a bridesmaid at my friend's wedding and I was very impressed with Angelina T and her team. First of all, I was very late because I had a 2 week old newborn, and she was able to accommodate my schedule without feeling rushed. Also, I had my own wedding makeup done by a different team less than a year earlier, and I liked Angelina's team way better. It is very difficult to do wedding makeup (esp for eyes) that is vibrant but doesn't look overdone. Tons of makeup artists claim to do natural looking wedding makeup, but it never is. Angelina really did a fabulous job. I'm not even the bride and I am wanted to write a review for her. I just wish I had known about her for my wedding, we would have booked her!

I hired Angelina to style my hair along with three of my bridesmaids and she did a fantastic job! I simply showed her the pictures of what we wanted and she managed to replicate the style exactly. I would definitely hire Angelina again!

Angelina did my hair and makeup for my wedding on 5/1/2011. All I can say is Angelina is AWESOME!!!! I had so much to do and didn't have a chance to schedule a preview session, but that didn't make a difference on the day of my wedding. I just communicated to Angelina prior to my wedding day, the types of hairstyles I liked through email and pictures and she did my hair exactly how I was envisioning for my wedding day. As for makeup, my makeup was beautiful! I told her what I liked very briefly (probably in like 30 seconds time) when she first came on sight to my venue...she is so knowledgeable that she knew right away what I would like and what would look good on me. And she only uses the best products. Before my wedding day I had let Angelina know that my face tends to get very oily (my wedding and reception took place outside in warm weather that day)...she noted my concern, and success! My face definitely stayed oil free the whole event! I think my face only had a bit of shine at the VERY end...but that's ONLY because I was dancing and was sweating a bit, not because of the product used. Angelina was prompt and so nice and professional! I highly recommend Angelina! Thank you Angelina for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day!!!! :)

I had the most wonderful wedding the day after Christmas. However, when you don't live in the LA area finding someone to do your hair and make up is hard enough, not to mention that we were getting married at a difficult time of year. However, Angelina was willing to work with us, and it was perfect! My hair and make up came out better than I ever could have thought. My bridesmaids and mom all looked fantastic. I would recommend Angelina to anyone getting married in the LA area!

Angelina and her Team were simply awesome. Prior to my reservation with At Makeup Pro, I had preious experience with some MUA for a few events and also had a 2 other Previews Sessions on top picks MUA at PW. They works are great but I felt slightly too made up, it's wasn't as naturally as I would prefer. Angelina was able to create just the perfect blend of soft somky eye and the foundation was great coverages and not cakey. On the day of the event, Angelina and 2 other Artists perform on my group. They were extemely ontime and were able to have everyone completed early. Everyone were so impress with the look they have created for each individual, and Angelina were simply amazing in recreating my style and better. Angelina also performed 2 different hair changes for my receiption, which completment perfectly with my first dance gown and a soft wave do for the rest of the evening.

I live in Mexico and I had a wedding of a cousin in Pasadena, CA and I was interested that someone was going to comb my hair and makeup to the hotel where I would be staying. Internet Search any option for me to have found the service and I found Angelina, I saw her website and pleased me,immediately contacted her by email that our communication was done all THROUGH this way. The day of the event get there on time to the hotel room and started doing makeup and comb to my mom... good job she was spectacular! and then to me that I also love how I make up and comb. Angelina is a very professional and knows her stuff .. besides that as a person is adorable! if I have another event in LA I would not hesitate to call Angelina again!!

Angela did an amazing job with my wedding hair and makeup and my bridesmaid’s hair and makeup. She was also very pleasant to work with. I was most impressed by her efficiency; she and her assistant did the hair and makeup of seven wedding party members in less than 3 ½ hours. Angelina was a superb makeup artist. She was professional, reliable, and super friendly. Our wedding day was quite hectic with 2 different ceremonies - an indian Hindu ceremony and a Western style ceremony. I had a hair and make-up change over in between and Angelina executed the hair and makeup for both ceremonies with ease. She was cool, calm, and collected, and helped us get through the very hectic wedding day. Do not hesitate to book her; her work is beautiful and her team of makeup artists who did my 7 bridesmaids' hair and make-up were very good as well.

Angelina was wonderful! My wedding day hair and makeup came out more beautiful then the trail. The reason being is because she took notes on what I like/dislike. How well my makeup stayed on was most impressive. I have chinky eyes so when i apply dark liner it tends to under my eyes smearing within an hour. But when Angelina applied I kept blinking so it could smear and be fixed before they start taking pictures but nothing was happening. Total success =) Happy Bride! My makeup did melt from the hot hot day but this has nothing to do with the makeup artist it's expected!

Angelina was a pleasure to work with. I am from Michigan and was very nervous about finding a stylist to do my hair and makeup in California. From the moment I found Angelina she was very prompt and professional. I sent her a picture of what I wanted my hair and makeup to look like and she replicated it 100%. The morning of the wedding she was on time and really took her time on my hair and makeup. She did a wonderful job and I was very pleased with the outcome. Angelina did a great job on my hair and makeup! We had our wedding on Catalina Island, and she did my hair and makeup at our San Pedro hotel right before we were to catch a helicopter ride from Long Beach to the island. Unforunately, it rained the day of my wedding and our helicopter ride was delayed. During the delay, we ended up having to run through the rain to grab some food from a food truck. My hair and makeup amazingly stayed put...even through the rain that ended up delaying our helicopter ride to Catalina Island by two hours. The hair and makeup looked great on camera!

I got my hair done with Angelina, and in addition, had 5 bridesmaids, my flower girl, and mom get their hair and/or makeup done. Angelina is very talented, positive, and works quickly, which was good, seeing as how busy I was getting ready for my big day. I liked that I was able to meet with her for a trial run, so I knew exactly what to expect, and she had an idea of what I wanted. She also took pictures of the final result for the trial run session, so I didn't need to re-explain anything come the day of my wedding.Angelina also had a team of artists that came to work on the other girls. Overall, my bridesmaids were happy with their makeup and hair, however, the team of artists worked a lot slower than Angelina. My mom, bridesmaid and I were pleased with the service that Angelina and her assistance provided to us on the wedding day (7/10/10). They are very professional artist. I didn't have any preview session, however Angelina was still able to create the gorgeous hair styles and makeup for me for both morning and evening services. Angelina was very professional from the beginning and very responsive to all communications. I felt like the package she offered for the number of bridesmaids and moms getting hair/makeup done was rather reasonable (though usually, eyebrow shaping and false eyelash applications are included in other bridal makeup packages). I wasn't 100% certain I liked the look that she created after my trial, but I voiced my concerns, told her where I wanted things changed, and on the day of my wedding, the look she created was beautiful. Angelina is a professional and has seen many brides and pageant candidates so she will stand her ground when it comes to certain aspects (i.e., not lightening up too much on make up to prevent a washed-out look in photos), but my advice is to trust her. She's a pro and she would not do you wrong because she has a reputation to uphold. Thanks Angelina!

From the get-go, I appreciated Angelina’s responsiveness to email, and her attention to detail regarding the specifics of the contract and appointment time. I don’t like verbal agreements, which was the way other make-up artists I spoke to seemed to prefer it (probably in case something more profitable came up). She did my make-up and hair for my engagement photographs, and will be doing my make-up and hair for my wedding next month, along with my mom and 3 bridesmaids. I’m not a big make-up person, and I was not prepared for our meeting because I had forgotten my “preferred style pictures” but she did the best that could be expected with the random picture I found in a magazine that I told her how to alter. The make-up ended up looking really nice in the photographs! She is very precise – that’s the best way to describe her style. Word to the wise – if you hate when your skin looks shiny and have problems with oily skin, don’t say yes to the shimmer on the cheeks.In terms of hair, I asked for it to be done just like a bride in her gallery. Angelina did it exactly the way I asked (I ended up not liking it that much on me and will do an up-do for my wedding, but that is my own fault!) She adjusted it when I asked her too as well…she cares very much that you are happy and isn’t done until you are happy. If you think something needs adjusting – just ask! She was more than happy to make all the tweaks I asked for. Angelina is very sweet – she is great to work with and I’m excited for the wedding. My advice to anyone getting hair and makeup done (especially those who aren’t used to having it done) is to know exactly what you want, and have pictures. Your idea of “smoky eyes” could be completely different than someone else’s. Also, be sure a hairstyle will fit your head and face. What looks fantastic on someone else might not look that good on you. Be cognizant of whether you are particular about your hair part, how deep your part should go, how much volume you feel comfortable with, etc. Angelina can do anything – but you need to know what you want. Angelina and her team did makeup and hair for our wedding back on October 23 of 2010. They did a great job with what all the girls wanted as their style for the day. Very courteous and professional! They had a time schedule and finished up all the girls with that time. Any questions or changes we had were answered right away via email and/or phone. Would recommend this team again!

used Angelina for services for my wedding on May 21, 2011. She and her team did my bridal hair and make-up as well aa all 6 girls in my bridal party and the makeup for my now mother in law. My experince with Angelina was great!! :) She kept in close communication with me for the 3 or 4 months leading up to my wedding to make sure that date, time and services were clear. She had no problem makeing adjsutments to the services I needed for my wedding up to the wedding date. I continued to add bridesmaids to the list to be serviced (my bridesmaids were very indecisive) and it was never a problem. Her and her team showed up on time and got us all finished up in pretty good time. We left my house only 10 minutes later then expected. :) I also booked Angelina to touch me up that afternoon as I am Chinese and my husband is Spanish so we did the Chinese tea ceremony in the morning and a western ceremony at 5pm that day. She was perfectly ontime for th touch up session, new that we were rushed to take pictures and was very efficient with my time. My hair and makeup turned out perfect. I had a preview session with Angelina months before the wedding and even though i changed the style that I wanted my hair in on the day of the wedding, all I had to do was tell her my thoughts and it was exactly how I envisioned it. The makeup was great. I tend to go for the more natural look as i do not typically wear a lot of makeup and all I had to do was say that and it came out great. The only slight delemma I had was that one of my fake eyelashes came loose halfway through the day, but of course that was fixed at the touch up session and I had no more problems for the rest of the night. My wedding day went from 5am - 12 midnight and the hair and make up lasted the entire time (with a touch up in the afternoon). The bridesmaids turned out great as well. I think they all looked amazing. Thery had no touch up in the afternoon but their hair and makeup looked great until the end of the night. All and all a greta experince. My wedding day went on without a hitch. It was a completely unstressful day that I was just able to sit back and enjoy and I have all of my vendors, including Angelina, to thank for that!

I would highly recommend Angelina to any bride. She did an absolutely beautiful job on me and the ladies. The look was what I wanted for my 1920s theme and the ladies were natural and beautiful. Angelina uses MAC products and for the quality of her work, I think she is very affordable. Angelina is also very friendly and quick on email.The only thing I wish could be improved was punctuality. Angelina showed up late for both the makeup trial and on the actual day. She was about 10 mins late for the trial and 30mins late for the actual day. However I must say that Angelina is a very fast worker. She managed to get all of our makeup and hair done before the wedding.I only had one makeup and hair trial with Angelina. At my trial, she listened patiently as I shared my ideas and showed her pictures. After the trial, I decided to tweak things a little and showed Angelina pictures of what I wanted. Trusting her to do a good job, I didn't have another trial. On the actual day, she manged to create an up do for my shoulder length hair and even made waves in my fringe like the 1920s style. I love the job that Angelina does.

Angelins was excellent. I got so many compliments the day of and I still get compliments. My hair was light and comfortable. She is really populaar so I can understand her busy schedule and unflexiblilty.

I had my trial session with Angelina in February and it went well! Granted I was in a rush to attend an event but Angelina was able to do my hair in 15mins and it looked AWESOME! (See profile photo) I was very happy with the hair and I got a lot of compliments that night. Make-up was good too but I just need to communicate with her better regarding color schemes I like and want to use for the wedding so that I'll look fabulous on the big day! Overall I was satisfied with the trial session and am looking forward to working with Angelina again in May! I'll be sure to write a follow-up review of the big day after its done -

My wedding was a few weeks ago and my trial was a month before that. I found Angelina on the internet and booked her without even getting a trial.

On the day of the trial, she did my hair and makeup. And to be honest, it was just so so. I wasn't disappointed but I wasn't excited either. I thought my hair and makeup weren't exactly the look I was going for. So, I told her everything that I wasn't happy about and needed changed.

The day of the wedding, she took into consideration everything I had asked her to change and everything turned out wonderful. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup. She also did my mom's hair and it turned out great as well.

All in all, even though my trial wasn't perfect, I still would recommend Angelina. I mean, that's what a trial is for, right? To make sure that the day of the wedding, your hair and makeup is exactly how you want it.

I am frustrated with the way things panned out with Angelina from AT Makeup Pro. I had scheduled my trial with her 3 weeks prior and everything was already set for November 1, Saturday at 9:00 am at my cousin's residence. I have our email thread as proof here. Come November 1, I woke up at 8:00 am to wash and dry my hair (as instructed) and have it ready for her to do my hair and makeup. At about 9:30 am she still wasn't there, nor called me either. I called her and left her a message reminding her of the trial. She calls me back close to 10:00 am. She said that it was her assistant's fault and was told that the trial was at 10:30 am! Where did that come from? What frustrates me was that I was setting the schedule up with Angelina the entire time! She said her assistant gives her the schedule in the mornings and made a big mistake. She did apologize profusely and said this has never happened before and was asking if I was still available the rest of the day. Admittingly so, she was very nice throughout our phone calls. However, I decided not to push through with the trial as I do not want to risk this happening on the DAY of my wedding.

But basically - don't rush to hire her. She's really nice to begin with. I think her skills are just so so. There are much better artists in the LA area. (Look at Elaine Chou or Kelly Zhang)

I had a tough experience w/ Angelina. I originally booked her for my wedding day hair/makeup and plus 4 bridesmaids on an impulse decision. After looking back on the trial, I wasn't too happy w/ the hair and makeup so I had called her later to try to transfer my $350 deposit to other family members since the deposit was not refundable. Angelina gave me a hard time about moving things around then later verbally agreed.

2 weeks before the wedding I received a call from Angelina stating that I was past due in payment but we had originally discussed that we would use the $350 deposit for 3 girls and that would all. She had stated that changes on services must be made 3 weeks prior wedding date on contract otherwise, the contact will be set after that. When we spoke verbally to agree on the changes she had never mentioned this. After a very rough discussion her being dishonest in her verbal agreement and contract we had settled for hair/makeup on 4 girls for a total of $480 and plus the $60 travel fee!! On the actual day, she did the makeup/hair for my sisters and MIL, which came out ok, nothing too outstanding but not horrible either.

Overall, it was a nightmare experience and I was not too happy with her un-professionalism and not honoring her agreements as discussed. Angelina was one of the worst vendor we had to deal with.

Correction, I didn't ask for extreme demands, since i was not happy with the trial I simply wanted to to transfer my my $350 deposit for hair/makeup for my 3 sisters and 1 MIL which is not an extreme request. I NEVER asked for a refund NOR a huge discount!!!...as I was aware of the "No refund or cancellations" as stated on her contract. My wedding coordinator Carrie had even discussed the issues w/ Angelina via phone and she also gave her a hard time.

She was 50 minutes late. And she barely apologized. I told her I had rushed back from work to make it in time, and she completely dismissed/ignored my comment. I had wanted to say she could've texted me that she was going to be late so I could finish more work, but she only called when she was already late saying 5-10 more minutes. i waited for another 30 minutes to get another call saying almost there. Another 10 minutes she finally shows up. No apologies in any of these conversations.

To be fair, she did pay attention to my sensitivities and was more gentle with the make up application. And she was for the most part sweet, but she selectively listened. I told her I didn't want certain things, and she did some but didn't budge and totally didn't recall at all on others. LIke wanting my eyeliner on 1 portion of my eye, not wanting the top line too thick, or even my eyebrows too dark. I felt bad for asking for these changes, but in retrospect and to think of it now, I am the bride and the paying customer. She also didn't bring her full set so I wasn't able to see various looks; I only had 1 look w/ no tweaking despite my questions/comments.

Bottom line to my fellow brides, she was 50 minutes late, and regardless if you are from LA or not (and she is an LA native), there's really no excuse. And she didn't even think to waive the travel fee; I feel like that's the least she could've done. Tardiness in general is just disrespectful not to mention unprofessional. Somehow her time was more valuable than mine? I felt like I wasted my money, and had to suffer the annoyance and discomfort of trying to be pleasant and polite even though the situation was just frustrating.

My experience with Angelina was not the greatest either. Thank goodness I did not jump to sign the contract as many people did and then regretted it. I had a trial session with Angelina right before going to a formal holiday party, thinking this will be perfect for the holiday gathering. Little did I know what I was in for. To keep the story short, my makeup turned out horrible!!! My husband, who happens to be a doctor, thought I was really sick that day because I looked jaundice (yellow). I called Angelina back to tell her what happened and she said something about my skin's reaction to the makeup caused for that color change. I've had other people do my makeup in the past and never has this happen before. Ladies, please beware and don't be pushed into signing the contract. There are plenty of experienced and honest makeup artist. SHAME on you Angelina for threatening one of your client to court! You cannot take someone to court for this, it's called freedom of review and opinion. I'm being generous by giving you a 1 star.

BEWARE: Some of the reviews on this makeup artist were completely FABRICATED! My friend’s identity and wedding pictures were used in fabricating one of the many false positive reviews about Angelina Tam.Her services were disappointing on so many levels! I would NOT recommend Angelina to anyone. I booked Angelina for bridal makeup and she showed up to the appointment without her makeup products! How embarrassing! How can a makeup artist not bring her makeup kit? It’s like a caterer showing up at the wedding reception without food to serve. Would you want that to happen to you? You must be nearly blind to not be able to recognize all the brown eyeshadow that fell on my nose and cheeks. -lip stick application looked clumpy-very poor foundation application with the sponge applicator. She dabbed the foundation instead of blended it. Laura Mercier makes some of the best foundations in the market, and she was unable to work with it. -clumpy mascara application-the grey colored glue for eye lash application was a poor choice. The clear duo is a far better choice.Details about my experience with her:-I wrote her very detailed instructions in link that was provided in an email I sent her, and she did not read ANY of my instructions. It was apparent to me, because she showed up at the appointment without a clue about what look I wanted, nor what products I’d like her to use on me. The only thing she will commit to memory is what you tell her on the phone, and she isn’t even good with that task. -I asked her specifically not to put a light colored shimmer under my eyebrows and she went ahead and put MAC mylar on, which has shimmer! -I told her it was okay to remove the hair fuzz around my eyebrows, but she ended shaping them, which I specifically told her not to do. -I wanted her to use my face primer and my translucent powder, which she did NOT do! -I told her I needed defined cheekbones, but her idea of heavy contouring made me look like I got a huge bruise on the side of my face. I looked like I got punched!

Angelina is absolutely fabulous! She provided hair and make-up for me, 5 of my bridesmaids, my mother and MOL. She did a fantastic job, I got rave reviews on my make up and hair (I don't know how she got my hair to stay, but it looked so amazing!) She was always very professional, which was very important to me... after interviewing several flaky artists, and just not meeting anyone I really clicked, with Angelina was a godsend! Professional, communicative, flexible, easy going, and an excellent make-up/hair artist... how could I not go with her?! You should too.

First, Angelina and I emailed ideas back and forth for a while. Then, she did a practice run with me (both hair and makeup) the week of my wedding (I live on the east coast, so I couldn't meet with her beforehand). Finally, Angelina came to my hotel suite the morning of my wedding and did the hair and makeup of myself and my four bridesmaids. Everyone looked amazing. She is nice, professional, on-time. She was great communicating via email and in-person. It was a pleasure to share part of my special day with her. I found Angelina to be very professional, accessible and someone who took her job and customer seriously. Also, since I only had a few months to prepare for my wedding I needed someone that I could correspond with promptly and accurately, and she was both. Emails, phone calls and the mail I received from her were very prompt and it was always confirmed by email what decisions we had agreed upon, such as pricing or number of people, immediately. I was actually surprised at how meticulous she was in letting me know she understood what changes I had made. Also, the many beautiful pictures in her portfolio on her website made it so much easier to see what her style of make-up was and to pinpoint exactly what I wanted.

As for the make-up and hair, I was very pleased with her services because she was very careful to find the look I wanted on my wedding day, not just what she thought looked the best. I have had several experiences with professional make-up artists and everyone clearly has a different style and ability. Some people can only do one style of make-up, but she was able to use her knowledge and skills to create a look that not only suited me, but had specific details I wanted and that was customized to my taste. And I didn't even have a trial session, the wedding day was the first time and the pictures turned out wonderful!! She was also attentive to the smallest detail of my comfort level, even making sure that I was warm as she did my hair and make-up, which shows that she really did care about her part in making the wedding the day a good experience for me.

I recommend her whole-heartedly to anyone, but especially to us Asians who typically have a hard time finding the "right" look with non-Asian make-up artists and even Asian make-up artists. I found her make-up to be generally very modern and fresh.

Angelina was wonderful! She was really available and easy to schedule for my hair and makeup trial-she came to my house on a Sunday! She was extremely professional, and did a wonderful job. Angelina and I had been emailing back and forth with pictures of what I thought I wanted, and she arrived with an idea in mind that I absolutely loved. I booked her to do my hair and makeup, and that of my three bridesmaids before she left that day.

Three weeks before the wedding, I needed to move up the time by an hour to accommodate the photographer for pre-wedding photos, and Angelina had no problem with that. Again, we conversed by email, and it was settled. The day of my wedding, she arrived and proceeded to do an amazing job! My three bridesmaids all had very different hair (one short, one medium, and one long), and they all got hairstyles that they loved. She did a beautiful job with the makeup, too. Everyone looked like a glamorous version of themselves, and the hair and makeup stayed put through the heat of the day and the reception.

I would gladly work with Angelina again, and absolutely recommend her to friends and family that need hair and makeup services. I had an easy to understand, and explicit, written contract with her, and for any changes, we communicated by email and she was very accommodating.

I had used Angelina twice before my own wedding. Twice I was a bridesmaid, and I was very please w/ her work on the eye makeup colorations. I had prior experience with artist that are not good in mixture of colors, and the eyecolors becomes to heavy and dark. e had searched for someone to do my friend's wedding day hair & makeup for a few months already when we came upon her website. The photos on AT's website where beautiful. AT was always professional during the entire process from the trial run to the wedding day. We always had good communication with her. She asked lots of questions and always made sure that we were happy with the work. She was a pleasure to work with! Angelina was wonderful! She was really available and easy to schedule for my hair and makeup trial-she came to my house on a Sunday! She was extremely professional, and did a wonderful job. Angelina and I had been emailing back and forth with pictures of what I thought I wanted, and she arrived with an idea in mind that I absolutely loved. I booked her to do my hair and makeup, and that of my three bridesmaids before she left that day.

Three weeks before the wedding, I needed to move up the time by an hour to accommodate the photographer for pre-wedding photos, and Angelina had no problem with that. Again, we conversed by email, and it was settled. The day of my wedding, she arrived and proceeded to do an amazing job! My three bridesmaids all had very different hair (one short, one medium, and one long), and they all got hairstyles that they loved. She did a beautiful job with the makeup, too. Everyone looked like a glamorous version of themselves, and the hair and makeup stayed put through the heat of the day and the reception.

I would gladly work with Angelina again, and absolutely recommend her to friends and family that need hair and makeup services. I had an easy to understand, and explicit, written contract with her, and for any changes, we communicated by email and she was very accommodating.

Angelina did both my hair and makeup for my wedding in August of '07. My previous hair and makeup person went MIA 2 weeks before my wedding and I found Angelina at the last minute. I found Angelina to be very professional, accessible and someone who took her job and customer seriously. Also, since I only had a few months to prepare for my wedding I needed someone that I could correspond with promptly and accurately, and she was both. Emails, phone calls and the mail I received from her were very prompt and it was always confirmed by email what decisions we had agreed upon, such as pricing or number of people, immediately. I was actually surprised at how meticulous she was in letting me know she understood what changes I had made. Also, the many beautiful pictures in her portfolio on her website made it so much easier to see what her style of make-up was and to pinpoint exactly what I wanted.

As for the make-up and hair, I was very pleased with her services because she was very careful to find the look I wanted on my wedding day, not just what she thought looked the best. I have had several experiences with professional make-up artists and everyone clearly has a different style and ability. Some people can only do one style of make-up, but she was able to use her knowledge and skills to create a look that not only suited me, but had specific details I wanted and that was customized to my taste. And I didn't even have a trial session, the wedding day was the first time and the pictures turned out wonderful!! She was also attentive to the smallest detail of my comfort level, even making sure that I was warm as she did my hair and make-up, which shows that she really did care about her part in making the wedding the day a good experience for me.

I recommend her whole-heartedly to anyone, but especially to us Asians who typically have a hard time finding the "right" look with non-Asian make-up artists and even Asian make-up artists. I found her make-up to be generally very modern and fresh.
