Atlasta Catering

We were drawn to Atlasta from the start! They have a ton of menu choices, their prices are reasonable, their food is delicious, and they are a very environmentally friendly company! We went with a buffet-style dinner, with the main dishes of cheese and bacon tortellini, vegetable pot pie, and chicken piccata, all of which were delicious. Their layouts were perfect for our venue and were very visually appealing, and their servers went out of their way to provide our guests with everything they needed. Atlasta also handled all of our rentals and created a beautiful atmosphere. We customized many aspects of our wedding to fit our particular vision, and Atlasta was ready and willing to work with us every step of the way. Dozens of our guests have told us that our food was the best wedding food they've ever had, and several weeks later they're still talking about it! I can't recommend them more highly!

I used Atlasta Catering for professional events while I worked for Arizona State, so when it was time for me to plan my wedding, I knew who to call. We worked with Emily, who was very friendly and responsive at every turn. Our tasting was a romantic event by itself, and she was very open to us tweaking the menu to suit our budget and our tastes. At our reception, I had lots of guests compliment the food, and a few even told me that it was the first wedding they'd ever attended where they went back for seconds! The caterers then packed up to-go boxes for us and for our parents, just in case we'd been too busy greeting our guests to have time to eat. The food was delicious and the staff did a great job of quietly making sure the buffet was replenished and people's dishes were removed when they were finished. They met all of our expectations and then some!

We have had so many people still tell us that the chicken at our wedding was the best chicken they've ever had! The selection was wonderful and the various combination that they can be put into would work for every wedding. We are so happy they were our caterer!

Kristin Sanchez and Atlasta catering were amazing to work with. Kristin was very helpful with menu suggestions and keeping within my budget. We love that Atlasta uses organic and local food. We had many compliments about the food presentation and how delicious everything was.

It could have been because we started planning so early in advance, but we worked with 3 different people through out the process of choosing our catering, and our actual wedding night. Each of the 3 people we worked with were very friendly and responsive. The only think I didn't like is that each time there was a change of person we would be working with, we were never notified. I had to reach back out and check in myself. The tasting, and the quotes were all correct and very clearly defined. The day of went without a hitch. My guest complimented us on our food. We felt like it was a great value. They should let their bartenders put out a tip jar though, as we felt obligated to tip the bartender at the end of the night since none of our guests could.

Atlasta was outstanding and made our wedding perfect. Not only are they a one stop shop for an event like our sophisticated backyard wedding, but the staff was exceptional. Many of our wedding guests attend catered functions often, and all raved about the service and the food. The bartender remembered all of our specialty drinks and kept track everyones favorites and the specific way they like them. The lead caterer took great care of myself the bride and my groom while the rest of the staff was totally on top of service and clean up and even helped out with things that weren't their job - like the dessert buffet my mom put together so she could enjoy the night. The deliveries, setup and tear down were precisely on time and for a control freak like me, that made my entire time line run on schedule! I would not hesitate to use Atlasta again, and I would absolutely and already have recommended them to others - something I am often fearful to do.

First of all...the food at our wedding was AMAZING! From the set up and display, down to the actual taste, our guest were talking about it for days after! Second, working with Kristin was a brides dream come true. She is without a doubt one of the best catering & event planners in Arizona. I worked for a catering company for 4 years and was set on using them, but the venue I wanted would not let my outside cater come in, I had to use Atlasta. I was nervous and not really happy about "settling" Once we met Kristin, I quickly realized I was not "settling" what so ever! Her attitude was amazing, her work impeccable and she was a consummate professional throughout the process and day of. She got to know us and paired a menu that was truly above our expectations. A wedding can certainly be a stressful day and somehow she managed to keep everything light and fun while keeping everything and everyone on schedule. She was ALWAYS available by phone or email and quickly responded at all times. There’s no question that we would recommend Kristin and her team at Atlasta Catering to anyone looking for great food and coordinator!

Atlasta Catering was great to work with (and also a great company, in general) and provided us with an amazing meal that fit our needs! My husband and I are both vegan (as are many of our friends) and we wanted the food at our wedding to be representative of us as a couple so we requested an all-vegan menu. Atlasta was very flexible and creative with the menu to make it delicious for everyone--vegans and meat-eaters alike! The food was amazing and all of our guests commented on how great everything tasted. The service staff at our wedding was so friendly and helpful!
Atlasta also provided all the rentals (tables, chairs, linens) and everything turned out amazing! I am so happy that I chose Atlasta...

Atlasta Catering provided the Garden Lunch menu for our afternoon wedding and all the setup that goes with the wedding and reception as we had our wedding in our back yard. Kristin was very responsive to our wants and wishes. The food was so good and fresh and different and we have a lot of leftovers even though everyone who said they were coming, did. Kristin visited many times to get the setup for just a perfect day and worked with my last minute changes in a very responsive manner. My mom and dad are still raving about the beautiful, perfect wedding and reception. I would recommend this vendor for any of your catering needs. Kristin is a really neat lady too!

Atlasta Catering is awesome! Our wedding guests were more than pleased with the food at our wedding, and so were we. Their cheese tortellini carbonara is to die for! But beyond the food the level of customer service that Kristin Sanchez provided was outstanding. She met with us several times before our wedding to ensure we had all of our questions answered. She was always responsive and has a truly genuine and calming demeanor, which really helps when you are planning your wedding. The day of the wedding she helped our parents decorate and when we got to the reception location everything was perfect. While our guests were enjoying the cocktail hour, my husband and I were taking our bride/groom photos outside. Kristin came out multiple times with glasses of water for us and some of the hors d'oeuvres. She wanted to make sure we stayed hydrated out in the AZ heat, and that we got some of the yummy food of course. I can't say enough great things about Kristin and Atlasta. We would highly recommend them!

Most wedding food is just fair . . . ours was delicious!! (Chicken and Filet Mignon) I couldn't have asked for a better catering representative. Kristen Sanchez was extremely sweet and professional. I would use her again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much for being part of my special day and contributing to the overall success of our wedding. I miss you already!

I booked Atlasta over a year in advance while my husband was deployed. Crystal was so helpful the entire time, and helped make the choices easy. They allowed me to design a custom menu and provided all the rentals for my wedding. They even agreed to do a second tasting when my husband got home so he could give his input. A couple months before the wedding, Crystal moved and Emily took over. The transition was seamless and Emily was fully briefed on our wedding. Both women were very friendly, efficient, and a joy to work with. They checked up with me every so often so I felt like they were truly invested in our wedding. They came to do a final walkthrough a couple weeks before, which relieved my anxieties. They arrived early to set up and the food was served hot and on time. The food was delicious and I received many compliments on it being plenty and flavorful. We chose the buffet option and everyone was pleased. They were priced competitively and we definitely got what we paid for. Their service was great and I felt like they helped plan the biggest part of our day. Our only complaint was that we chose to save all the leftovers, but they boxed them up and took most of them. Overall I was extremely pleased and would recommend their service to everybody.

I used Atlasta for my wedding last weekend and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. Crystal & Chelsey were so helpful along the way, checking in with me regularly over the course of the planning process and answering my weekly annoying questions promptly and with friendliness every time. The wedding itself was incredible! The food was amazing and there were lots of extra items that we didn't even know they were bringing (a variety of salsas, tortillas, etc.) -- things they could have easily skimped on but they chose to go above and beyond. My guests loved the food and a few commented that our catering staff were "stealth" -- they got everything done smoothly, quickly, seamlessly, and without being any intrusion on the event itself. So completely impressed by this company!!! I also had several comments from people who were impressed by their taking the time to recycle everything they could. I would absolutely use them at a future event and I wholeheartedly recommend them. as someone who is a neurotic control freak, Atlasta made me feel completely comfortable and confident to let them take over on the day of my wedding.

My husband and I were married at the Historic Icehouse in downtown Phoenix. The venue is a blank canvas and working with Atlasta was a dream come true. Kristin was our coordinator and is honestly heaven sent. She helped us plan everything from our menu, to chairs, tables, room set up and even helped with colors and decor. Atlasta truly is a one stop shop for all things wedding.

We felt so comfortable after each meeting, phone call and email we received from Kristin that our big day was in good hands. And at the end of the wedding day, it still rang true. The food was wonderful!! Months later we are still hearing from guests how good everything was. That is a rare comment to hear from wedding guests. The menu Atlasta helped us with was unique, had a lot of variety and met the needs and diets of all of our guests. Many people commented how grateful they were that the options were locally grown and organic. Even the pickiest of eaters were happy with the options.

Honestly, I could go on and on about how wonderful our experience was with Atlasta and Kristin. To put it simply, our day would not have been as stress free and beautiful had it not been for her. We are so grateful to have worked with her and would recommend her to anyone!!

Our food was excellent! We had lobster tamales and grilled chicken with a mango and strawberry slaw- so it was not very "traditional wedding food" but our guests loved it! The appetizers were amazing as well!

They were a suggested caterer through my venue and we really enjoyed working with them. We didn't get to eat at our wedding, which I hear is common, but all that did said it was great. They do a great food presentation also.

Nothing less than spectacular! The food and set up were great and they also added a few things such as bread etc... The staff was very friendly and helpful as well as the bartender. They were there at the specified time and the bartender actually helped load the remaining kegs and wine/champagne (that I purchased) into my vehicle for me at the end of the night.

The food at our wedding was amazing. We upgraded to the chef attended prime rib carving station and it was worth every penny! I loved seeing guests go back for seconds. Everyone raved about the food and the presentation was beautiful.

We had Atlasta cater the food our wedding. From the very beginning, we were so happy with them. We had a tasting in April and were able to personalize our menu based on what we liked. Crystal was so helpful and created the layout for the reception - where tables should go, the buffet, DJ, dance floor, etc. Our reception was held in our godmother's backyard, so this guidance was essential.

As soon as we arrived at the reception, we were greeted with a plate of appetizers to have a chance to eat before seeing everyone. We were also served our food first before the guests at dinner. The food was delicious! Everyone raved about the appetizers and my cousin who owns a restaurant commented on the moist chicken he ate.

I would use Atlasta again and recommend their catering.

Atlasta did a wonderful job for our wedding. The food was beautifully displayed and we very delicious. The staff was also very courteous. I would refer them to friends and family.

Atlasta did a great job with the catering for our wedding. Everyone had enough food. Some was a little cooler than desired. The people were very friendly, helpful, and you didn't even noticed they were there at times. The people at Atlasta were very responsive every time I called to ask questions.

The food from Atlasta was amazing! We used them for our bartenders as well and they were very easy to work with and very professional. Their prices are very reasonable and they did include a tasting at no charge. The only thing I was disappointed with was we didn't have any leftovers when an entire table didn't show up at the wedding.

We were so happy that we went with Atlasta Catering. Crystal was our contact from Atlasta, and she was extremely helpful, attentive, and a pleasure to have as a vendor. As for the food, it was just as great at the wedding as it was on the day we did our tasting. We loved the food, and everyone at the wedding said it was fantastic too. Also, the serving staff and bartenders were really nice.

I LOVE this company! Patty and Steve were absolutely amazing, the food was great, we got compliments all night long! they really worked with us alot on getting everything just right. We plan to use them for every event we host from now on, they are that good.

The food was great and everything was perfect for the day of the wedding. We also used them for our rehearsal dinner, and they did a wonderful job with that as well. The tasting was fun and they really worked with us to make sure we had the food we wanted at the wedding and rehearsal dinner. My only negative comment was dealing with our contact. If we e-mailed her, she pretty much never responded. If we wanted to get a response from her we had to call, and sometimes that was difficult given our work schedules.

Atlasta catered and provided the bar for our wedding of 125 and did a great job. We booked them through our planner, so I can't really say a ton about how all the paperwork process worked.

However, i can tell you that they were very generous with both the food and wine tasting that we scheduled. The food at the wedding was great (i heard, i was pretty much to excited to eat) - especially the crab cakes, short ribs and mushroom ravioli (which i did manage to eat!) - and their servers were sufficiently attentive and professional. They worked to accomodate the menu we wanted, and also worked with us to design a more affordable bar service.

It was my wife's idea to have Atlasta Catering work on our dinner menu.She instantly fell in love with the menu they had and knew that's what she wanted.I wasn't very picky about things and the price was lower than I was willing to pay.The staff seemed to be doing a pretty good job all night.

The food for our wedding day was great there was many varsities to choose from.We got a great price that was well in our budget.The servers were first rate, friendly and very professional. I would highly recommend Atlasta Catering to anyone.

Atlasta Catering was included with my package for The Castle at Ashley Manor. We received a lot of compliments about the food & service however my husband & I were a bit disappointed in a few areas. I had to contact them several times about my menu & food allergies before I got a response, supposedly the original woman I met with was on medical leave. I asked for an apple cider glazed pork & what we had was some sort of mango salsa so I was quite disappointed by this. With my husband being a chef & myself being an avid cook we felt the food was mediocre but none of our guests seemed to notice & that's what mattered most.

They were a little hard to get in touch with at times, but the food is DELISH!! Especially the tortellini carbonara. We didn't get enough of it at our wedding but our friends got married 2 weeks later with the same caterer, and my husband and I had two plate fulls! When we scheduled our taste night, they did not have us down on the schedule, however they made it up to us and cooked up full orders of what we were expecting to try. We had a good time eating and a great deal of leftovers to take home which was a plus. Everything did work out well the day of the wedding and everyone loved the food. We even had tons of people compliment the salad!

Atlasta was a vendor we were required to use with the package we bought at our venue. They provided many free tastings, and the food on our actual wedding day was good. The appetizers are especially good!

As chefs we were not pleased with the food on the day of the wedding. The tasting was great. The appetizers were good but the dinner was pretty disappointing.

Our reception site used Atlasta in their package. They offered tastings each month at the reception site for up to four people per party, so it was great that we could bring different groomsmen and bridesmaids each time to help us decide which entrees we wanted. However, we never got to try the actual dishes we ordered since it was chef's choice each month, but we did try their ravioli over and over. Not much variety during tastings! However, the food at our wedding was still great and we had many guests still talking about the walnut salad and prime rib after the event! Before our wedding, it was very difficult to get ahold of someone to ask any questions, I ususally had to leave a message and wait a few days for someone to call back and emails were rarely answered. There were many times I was left off the list for tastings-but luckily there was always enough food. When writing up the contract I had requested maple rye bread be served, a request they said there was no problem fulfilling and even wrote into the contract as the only bread choice, however the bread served at our wedding was sourdough and marble rye. A minor inconsistency that did not affect any guests and only my groom and I knew, but it was a slight annoyance. Additionally, when I dropped off all the champagne to be served for the toast, there was one bottle of nicer pink champagne (all else was a brut) to be served at the head table only. However, after sitting down from the first dance as a couple, I noticed we had regular champagne and looked around finding the whole bottle of pink champagne left on a random guest table already halfway poured. Again, not an error that affected the guests or wedding, but left me extremely disappointed and annoyed. My groom politely let the guests at the table know of the mistake and retrieved the other half of the bottle for the two of us but the rest of my bridal party missed out. Finally, the service was exceptional, but almost a little too good. As the bride, I had a personal waiter who followed me around the buffet filling my plate and carried it to my table. He poured all my drinks and everything was top notch. However, after a few bites, I got up to speak to my mother and when I returned five minutes later, my plate was taken away. I requested another plate of food and got it, but after going up for one dance, it was taken away again with only a few bites taken this time. The same happened with members of the bridal party and several guests. Serving the cake we had the same problem. My Maid of Honor had a full slice of cake taken from her after it was served up and she went to get a drink from the bar. Overall the food and service was good, but I went to Denny's afterwards with my bridal party.

We had to choose from a preferred caterers list for our venue. Atlasta was the only caterer that got back to us, so I give them a higher rating on responsiveness. Our tasting was great and I was really happy with our selection of seared chicken. Unfortunately, the food we were served on our wedding day was very different from what we ate at our tasting. My grandmother got sick from the food and had to leave the reception early. The service was okay, but I was dissapointed with the food.

Atlasta was great but the girl I worked with had some trouble pinning down some details. I'd look over the contract she emailed me and then write back with 4 things to fix. She'd fix 2 or 3 and send it back. Then I'd tell her about the 1 or 2 she missed and it would come back with those fixed but one from before was wrong again. I couldnt figure out why she couldnt adjust each thing and have it all be correct at once. But the food was great, the price was great, and they were prompt with their communication.

The food was delicious. Our guests were very impressed. The staff was very professional and easy to work with. Even when we made last minute menu changes, they just rolled with it and made it happen.

As I read on other comments, food was great but my main contact with them was hard to work with. Not responding to emails and showing a lack of interest were just some of the frustrations we ran into. Other than that however, the food and service on the day was great. The menu was slightly different then we chose but delicious non-the-less. Several people commented on how good and memorable the food was.

All of the food and service Atlasta provided for our reception was fantastic. They provided many tastings, and the food was better on the day of our event than it was in the tastings! You can't beat the food they provide for the price.

The main dinner was good, but not spectacular. For the most part our guests had happy tummies. What we did get a lot of compliments on were Atlasta's appetizers. Overall I would say they were average.

Since I lived 2 hours away from our ceremony/reception site, I was excited that they had a package deal that included a caterer-Atlasta Catering. I had visited them at one of the shows they had and thought the food was pretty good. Everything beyond that was just average. I had contacted the caterer about setting up a tasting and she had recommended that I just go to one of the shows they offer at the reception site. Unfortunately, the food I wanted to try they didn't offer at those tasting. In any case, I decided to go off the description on their menus and emailed the information to the caterer. The night of the wedding the photography took a little longer than expected (~30 minutes longer). By the time we were ready to eat, the food was warm, but not really hot. Everything on the menu was great, except for the prime rib which was overcooked. The biggest surpise with Atlasta was how quick they were to take plates away. My mother was mid-bite when someone came over and took her plate from under her. She was able to get the plate back, but was shocked that someone would do this. I had at least 5 or 6 other complaints similar to this. This also happened with the cake. Guests would get up for a dance and come back to see that the cake they had one bite of was gone.

Atlasta provided us with a phanomenol menu for a very reasonable price. Their help a long the way with changes and ideas was amazing...and I will never forget the beautiful looking buffet at our wedding. Their servers were nice friendly and prompt! Atlasta comes highly reccomended from my husband and I...and all 155 of our guests! Thanks again, Atlasta!

As many other people noted - the dropped the ball on a few minor items, as an event planner attention to detail is key. When I let Sara, our contact person know of a few disappointments - I never heard from her again, just wanted a simple response. I would not use them again but the food on the wedding was as good as could be expected.

The good things was that they where flexible with the menu.We had a lot of vegetarian plates and healthy alternatives for our guests.Their chefs are really understanding and added a attractive look to the dinner that we really enjoyed.

We were giving a complimentary tasting in their restaurant and received wonderful service there. The food at the reception was above average. My vegan bridesmaid told me that her specialty meal was excellent. The appetizer display was quite pretty.

Working with Atlasta Catering was a refreshing experience from all the other planning frenzy.The service and clear communication was all there.We simply loved the menu they planned for us.The whole staff was excellent and we thought the food was very delicious.

Out of our almost perfect wedding, our catering company was the reason it was not perfect. The person in charge kept switching on us which may have been part of the problem. The tasting was amazing, but the food at the wedding was not. We had a plated dinner with 3 choices. The Bacon wrapped fillets did not have the bacon, the shrimp was not de-veined, the salmon was really over cooked, the raviolis were mushy, and the side vegetable dish was bland, mushy, frozen carrots and beans--not fresh asparagus. All the small details that we spoke of were left out. My list can go on.... We were really excited for the catering and told all of our guests about how wonderful the food was going to be. It was an absolute embarrassment when the food was prepared and sent out. Many of the guests left food on their plates. Good thing our cake from Piece of Cake Desserts was so good!
