We had already booked our DJ Tom Chandler but we needed up lighting. I shopped around the usual vendors (Rainbow Sound, Props FX, etc) but Atmosphere Events had the best pricing, communication and service!

Joe Paxton was my main point of contact and his communication was excellent, thorough and prompt. I booked him over the phone without an in person consult. When I traveled down to Los Angeles the week of the wedding and met with them to decide on the colors, I was blown away by their studio!! Just all around great guys. I heard their DJ service was killer too.

I didn't meet the DJ until the day of the wedding but I was not disappointed! Joe at atmosphere was a pleasure to work with. I hired Atmosphere to provide music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. They were also hired to do the lighting for the reception and the room looked beautiful. Joe responded to my questions promptly and provided his professional input. I only chose a few songs for the wedding and I let Joe choose the rest and music turned out great. Joe was also the MC for the wedding and he was flawless.

We were so impressed and pleased when we met with Tasos from Atmosphere DJ’s about the possibility of him doing our wedding. From the minute we walked into their office he made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. You could tell he took a lot of pride in his work because of the presentation he put together and his emphasis to detail in not only what they have to offer but their office itself. He was able to give us all our options, not just from a DJ side of things but also lighting. At the time he was showing us all the different options we never felt like we were dealing with some pushy sales person, he wanted to show everything he had to offer and whatever we needed was perfectly OK with him. After we left his office we knew Tasos was the perfect fit for our wedding and we look forward to working with him in June at our wedding.

Hiring Atmosphere was a no brainer! They thoroughly explained our options and worked within our budget to provide entertainment and lighting for our wedding. I was nervous that half our crowd wasn't a dancing crowd but I think our deejay got everyone up from their seats at some point in the night. The lighting was set up to look exactly as they had displayed it in their studio. We were very much happy with this company!

My wife and I have to rave about our experience with Atmosphere DJ for our wedding in November 2009. Tasos was our DJ, and I have to say, he made our wedding reception entertaining. He was very helpful and considerate during our planning process, and he definitely delivered given the strict schedule and timing that we provided him prior to the wedding day. The transitions between activities was seamless and he worked well with our wedding coordinator. We are Asian, and Tasos was great on name pronunciations and his music kept the party going on all night! As some of you may know, Asians usually don't like to go on the dancefloor, but Tasos was able to find a way to get people to dance, and dance all night long too! First time I'd ever seen that done successfully!

Overall, we could not be happier on how our wedding night went, thanks to our DJ's professionalism and great personality and choice of tunes. Also, Joe was our initial consultant, and he was very accessible for questions and helping us plan our initial process!! Thank you Tasos and JOE!!

Atmosphere DJ & Lighting make our wedding the dream wedding. The music are great and the DJ's are very professional.

I used Atmosphere Events for my DJ and lighting. My first meeting was very informative. I met with Joe and he answered all of my questions, he was very professional, and had samples of all of the lighting equipment I was interested in using. In addition to DJ services I ended up getting, up lighting, a personalized light display of our monogram, and Lycra stretches to project pictures. The set up was beautiful and better than I ever imagined. Our DJ was Tasos, and he was wonderful too! He kept in contact the week prior to the wedding to confirm all of my requests and make suggestions. The night of the wedding, he was the MC and was very flexible and accommodating to sudden changes in the schedule. Tasos read the crowd and new how to get people on the dance floor! It was a blast and everyone was up and dancing until the end! I would recommend Atmosphere DJ and request for Tasos!!!!!

Great DJ and a lot of fun!

At first we were kinda thrown off by how busy our DJ was. He forgot a couple of things we talked about and had my bride a little stressed out. However, once we got on the same page, DJ Tasos absolutely came through. It's been about 6 months since our wedding and I still have people telling me it was the most fun they've had at a wedding ever. 95% of our guests credit the music and the DJ.

Tasos kept the flow of the wedding moving so fluidly our guests never had a dull moment of silence or sitting around wondering what was next. He threw in a lighting package that was unbelievable. The entire banquet hall looked amazing and ever wedding picture we've seen (even from cheap disposable cameras) have the room looking decked out.

I was very picky about having a DJ with a mixing and club background since 90% of our guests were in their mid to late 20's. Tasos delivered in every way and the best part was how much fun he was having too. He kept playing off the crowd and the dance floor never emptied. The handful of people sitting down looked out of place.

I was very pleased with the service we received from Atmosphere Entertainment! They were very easy to work with and helped us with our song choices :) They had our wedding going all night long! The DJ's equipment is also exceptional....it takes up very little space and it doesnt look bulky in the middle of an elegant wedding like most do! I highly recommend them for any occasion....especially the most important one of your life! I have a friend who was at our wedding and has already booked them for his!

Joe was our point of contact and Chris was our DJ/MC during our reception. We exchanged several emails with Joe since we were planning our wedding from Virginia and he was responsive. He worked with us to make sure what we were looking for fell within our budget.They were both easy to work with and we really enjoyed our meeting with Chris. They did a great job. They were professional and fun. Our initial meeting set the stage. We met with Chris and he was full of positive energy. He got us hyped up and knew how to read the crowd. All the song selections were right in our age group. Nothing too slow or too old or too ballroomish. Just fun!I liked the fact that he would watch me for any type of signal or queue to end the song and move on to the next agenda of the reception. Overall very satisfied.

I had the pleasure of working with Chris at Atmosphere Entertainment. The entire process in booking and working with them for one of our clients was very professional. They were very detail oriented, and had everyone at the wedding (including an 80-year-old gentleman) dancing all night long!! I've been planning events for over 11 years now, and this was one of the few events in which the dance floor remain packed throughout the entire night!! Chris was a wonderful DJ/MC to work with, and I highly recommend him to other event professionals as well as brides in Southern California. We hired Atmosphere for our November 5th wedding. The pricing compared to other companies couldnt be beat and the lighting looked amazing. Their wall lighting and spotlights on our centerpieces completely made our reception look like a Winter Wonderland. The staff made us feel as though we were top priority and simply surpassed our expectations. Since the wedding, we have been recommending their services to everyone we know. Great service and great price!

We were referred to Atmosphere and Joe (the owner) through another wedding vendor and thank God! He was amazing. After looking at the website, which was very impressive, we talked to Joe who was immediately responsive and went to the location to discuss our wedding reception plan and to see the lighting options. Joe was very professional and was able to meet us later in the evening to work with our schedule. He was willing to work with us on our budget and I feel the services were a great value.We were looking for good music and special lighting, something sophisticated, elegant and fun -- absolutely NO cheesyness. Day of - everything was perfect. We chose the computerized lighting scheme which looked awesome in our venue, with our name light design on the dance floor. I was very impressed with the dinner music selections, which were romantic and exactly what I would have picked. Joe was a great DJ and MC, excellent mixing, we all had a lot of fun. If I have another event needing a DJ (wedding or otherwise), Atmosphere is No. 1 on my list.

First and foremost, my husband and my biggest concern was finding the perfect DJ. We really felt that the music is the key to setting the mood and vibe of the wedding. We were so happy with Atmosphere Entertainment. I love the fact that you only need a DOC and not a full on wedding planner with Atmosphere Entertainment. Ian, our DJ, really worked with us on a timeline for our reception. We told us why these times would work out the best, and they DID!!! They really know what they are talking about and are amazing!!! Ian had such great energy, which is super important with any DJ. Plus, I love the fact that you can e-mail them and know they will get back to you asap. You don't have to run after them. The other thing I loved is how they have a location in OC where you can go out and see the equipment first hand and the lighting they had for our special day to rent. It made such a big difference to see it and we ended up adding spots for our reception, which made a huge difference. However if we hadn't seen it, we might not have added it. This really helped my husband to know that we had to go with that and we were soooo glad that we did.We would hands out recommend them to anyone and would def. use them again. =)

Thanks to Joe our wedding was a total hit! He played an awesome mix of music that kept the dance floor packed all night! Having a pumped up and HIP emcee/dj is super duper important if you want to have a "cool" wedding. We were fortunate to have that experience special thanks to our man, IAN! He totally set the tone and the energy for our BIG DAY! I swear, I don't know how he still had his voice by the end of the night! He made sure the crowd was super pumped up and was truly patient with all of our special requests. He was kinda enough to meet up with me and my husband the week of our wedding to go over the final details and our entire song list (we chose every single song for the evening). He made sure he got every single detail to make our day PERFECT! I appreciated his attention to details and making sure that everything would turn out the way we envisioned.My husband had planned a surprise piano serenade for me, and Ian did a great job helping him set up for it and keeping it a surprise from me! Great service, price and attitude! Our wedding DJ, Max, was very friendly, patient, and fun! He checked on us throughout the night to make sure we were content. He was happy to fullfill requests, even if he had to download music. All the guests like his positive attitude and fun personality. To top off the night, he sang to us for our last dance, and it will be one of the most memorable, fun moments of the entire wedding! Atmosphere Entertainment staff were knowledgable, friendly, and professional throughout the entire planning process. The price was very reasonable. The lighting was exactly what I asked for. Ian Brawner is truly a professional at his trade. He was the single most impactful person of all the services I ordered for the wedding and reception. Our DJ was absolutely amazing... we went over every single detail before the wedding to make sure that the names were pronounced correctly, he was an amazing master of ceremonies (kept the wedding on track) and he would constantly come and ask if he had a question or if i would like things done another way than we discussed. I am really thankful to Joe and the Atmosphere team for their incredible talent and skill. I was hesitant when Atmosphere was recommended but our event coordinator had such high praise for Joe that we went with her recommendation. This was one of the absolute best choices and I understand why he was so highly recommended. There was not a single glitch with his services for the entire 8 hours of our event. His selection of music for each stage of the event was amazing. Atmosphere was able to read the crowd and everything about the music and MC service was perfect. The lighting and production was exactly what we described as a feel. When a professional asks what you want and all you can say is that you want a romatic/faeriesque feel, you might expect a chuckle or too. Joe was so respectful and encouraging and more importantly, he knew his stuff. He was able to enhance the beauty of our event without any costly and cheesy gimmicks. He took the time to really inspect the venue and make sure that he provided everything we needed without over-peddling unnecessary things. There were so many things I would have never thought of that he took care of because he is such an expert at what he does. I loved his services and I am so grateful for his dedication and commitment to making everything wonderful.

Tasos is amazing. Everyone had such a great time... At one point during the reception, Tasos was working so hard to keep everything on schedule that I looked over, his assistant was doing an awesome job at the DJ Booth, and Tasos was popping corks on the Champagne to make sure the toast was on time. That is what sold me right there. He did things to make my wedding run smoothly and on time that he did not have to do. He was an amazing MC and I thought he did a beautiful job!!! Oh Yeah and the Lighting was AWESOME, elegant and classy when everyone walked in, and at about 9:00, We got our dance on in true Club fashion.

My original DJ was unable to make it and his partner met with us week of the wedding and my husband and him clicked. He knew what we wanted and totally delivered. He even brought us dance floor lights because of the change of DJ. He did all the songs we asked for, he did everything with perfect timing. Totally worth the cost when the DJ makes sure everything runs on time!

We used Atmosphere Entertainment for our February 20, 2010 wedding reception at Black Gold Golf Club in Yorba Linda. DJ Tasos was our DJ and we also used him to design the lighting for our reception. My husband and I were so happy with our entertainment choice. Taso was so much fun to work with and we were so happy with the music and lighting. We told him what we were looking for as far as a vibe for the entertainment, we want a cool, loungey type vibe for cocktails and dinner and we wanted fun mashups for dancing. Taso certainly delievered! Everyone at our reception was up dancing and that's what we wanted. Taso kept things moving and everyone had an amazing time. And the lighting! Oh let me tell you about the lighting! We met with Taso a couple days before our big day to choose the color for our uplighting and as well as look at the custom backdrop we wanted for behind the sweetheart table. Oh my, we can't tell you how much the lighting and the custom backdrop just transformed the room! Black Gold Golf Club is a beautiful venue but the lighting and the custom backdrop just took it up a 100 notches! My whole family commented that when the reception room was "revealed" to them after the cocktail hour, everyone just gasped "wow" on how amazing the room looked. You will not go wrong with Atmosphere Entertainment! We just look forward the next time we need a DJ - Taso will be the first one we call!

I can recommend Atmosphere Entertainment and DJ Tasos very highly. From the beginning, when we first met with Tasos, he was so down-to-earth and friendly we felt like we had known him for years. The company is very professional and helpful, the owner helped me and was very flexible and accomodating. Tasos was professional and FUN. He MADE our party; he fit in with my crazy family so well and kept everyone moving and happy and enjoying themselves. And he was very non-cheesy. He was funny, but cool. He didn't play any cheesy songs unless we asked him to and didn't try to be the center of attention; he sort of ended up being in a way because everyone was asking who he was and commenting on how great he was! Really, it was as if they were complimenting one of my family members that's how we felt about him. You can't go wrong with Atmosphere for music and lighting; they are competitively priced and do absolutely fantastic work.

We used Taylor from Atmosphere Entertainment for DJ & lighting services. Taylor was professional, knowledgeable, and hilarious. He was a great MC, played exactly what we wanted, and created the right atmosphere (no pun intended) for our wedding. The lighting looked beautiful; however, my only complaint was that the color was not exactly what I had requested. But since it still looked gorgeous in the room, I just went with it. Lighting does make a huge difference and can completely transform a room. I would highly recommend Taylor and AE.

We also used Atmosphere for our uplighting for the reception and the room looked amazing! It was truly transformed and really set the mood for the night.Once we returned from our honeymoon, we were pleasantly suprised to receive a CD from Joe with all of our key songs from the night. A great personal touch. I would without a doubt recommend Atmosphere Events for a wedding...and try to get Joe if you can!

I can't say enough good things about Atmosphere Entertainment! They really made our wedding a lively one without being intrusive. They listened to our opinions and incorporated their own "flare" as well. Every single person we talked to after the wedding said that our DJ was great and really kept the party going. Tasos did an amazing job... I would definitely use them again for an event!

THe Atmosphere DJ we had was excellent. Very courteous and played the right mixture of music for our VERY diverse group of guests. NOt only was the music great, but he made sure the night ran smoothly and seemlessly. They did a great job with our lighting, perfect ambiance. I did not have my photographer for the whole night, so they were nice enough to take pictures of the last portion of the night so nothing would be missed and gave us the pictures on a CD. We used Atmosphere DJ for our music and lighting and couldn't be happier with the results. Our DJ was Taylor and he was AWESOME! He was great on the mic, not to "talky" but kept the day flowing and on track. He also played great mixes of music that had everyone from the teenage guests to my Mom on the dance floor all night!We also received a lot of compliments on the lighting. We were originally going to use standard uplights, but after meeting with Joe (the owner) we went for the upgraded LED lights. The Atmosphere DJ office has a room where you can view all the different lighting choices, colors, etc... which helped us see what a difference lighting can make. It was really helpful in making our choices.I definitely recommend Atmosphere DJ and DJ Taylor. Thanks Taylor for helping make our wedding so much fun!!

When I contacted him for our initial consultation, he didn't hesitate to give us his pricing and even sent the planning forms ahead of time for us to look at. Joe also has been in this industry for years and is highly experienced. Joe was GREAT! No cheesy songs, no cheesy talking.. just great tunes the whole night! Everyone RAVED about the music. Our dance floor was filled the entire night. He kept it relevant and yet all the parents had a great time too. He played all of our must have songs...I couldn't have been happier! I would totally recommend them!

I had Atmosphere Entertainment take care of all my lighting needs and slideshow for my wedding reception. My uplights & gobo was gorgeous. i was very impressed at how much of a difference the lighting made to my venue. I only gave a 4 in quality of service because I was not impressed with my stage lighting at all. I had a full band & the lighting was not sufficient for the stage. Other than that, I'm very happy with the service. Joe was easy to work with, respond very quick to my needs. Price was very reasonable too.

Ian was our DJ for the wedding!We used AE for both the ceremony and reception at Black Gold Golf Club at Yorba Linda.We booked with AE before I realized that AE was one of Black Gold's preferred vendor - AE definately knows what they are doing!!!Most of our wedding guests are not "party people", so my husband and I were very worried about having the "american style" wedding. However, Ian did a very good job getting the crowd involved during the reception program. Also, we used AE for uplights - which were great.Overall, we were SOOOOO glad we had AE as our DJ, and would definately recommend. I don't know how other DJs are at AE, but I can say that Ian was awesome.

My fiance and I chose Atmosphere Entertainment for our DJ and lighting after being at a friend's wedding where they did a great job. We were just as impressed with them at our wedding as our friend's wedding. The lighting looked awesome and our DJ kept us on schedule and the dance floor filled with people all night!! We had a great time and would definitely use them again!

Great. They gave us a deal on uplighting which really made a huge difference in our ballroom. The DJ worked with us and really made everything run really smoothly. We felt comfortable and the flow of the wedding was so much better with them there. Highly recommend them.

Chris was our D.J. and he did a great job!! We did have a playlist, which he played most of the songs. He did the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Atmosphere Entertainment is expensive, but we didn't want to take a chance and go cheap with a D.J. You need a good D.J. to keep the party going and Chris did that.

I placed a frantic call 8 days before my wedding. My DJ had just cancelled. I was calmed down and reassured everything would be okay and this vendor would be more than happy to accomodate us. I had not priced out any DJ's so I can;'t make an accurate price comparison. A few people have told me I paid too much, but I don't care. I was incredibly pleased with EVERYTHING!!! I would definitely recommend these services to anyone who asks :)

Joe is a wonderful guy, friendly, experienced, does his own thing, which is what i liked since i didn't have a specific idea of what music to play at the wedding. he helped us thru multiple music selections, which most of them were played correctly at the wedding. The way the music was mixed was amazing and seamless! I can tell he knows how to keep a crowd moving, whcih was what i really wanted. He was very aware of the schedule too. As much as my guests were frustrated with him because he wouldn't do whatever they requested, i'm glad he didn't. :) Joe and Tasos are tons of fun and run a wonderful business. when i first went to see what they were all about, i had no appointment or anything i just knkocked on the locked door and tasos was so welcoming and even showed us the show room as much as he can at such short notice. I used DJ and lighting services from Atmosphere for the wedding ceremony and reception. Overall, they rocked it! Our DJ was Ian B, and he was wonderful. He is very energetic, and provides good advices =) Our group was a bit quiet group, but he was able to get people involved without any issues. My venue was Black Gold Golf Club. I do really recommend these guys as they know what they are doing!

The DJ is probably the most important vendor that you will have on your wedding day. They keep the party going. Atmosphere definitely kept our party going. I don't think there was a moment when no one was on the dance floor. I highly recommend using them. They are a little pricey, but it was worth it.

Atmosphere worked really well for us at our wedding. We worked with Joe throughout the planning process, but our DJ/MC was Tasos, who was an absolute delight! The lighting they put together for our ballroom was STUNNING! Our mouths literally dropped when I first saw it. They had color-changing LED uplights and double pin spot lighting on centerpieces. The music was great during cocktail and reception. We were very very pleased with Tasos' DJ/MC skills and he's a lot of fun to work with; we highly recommend him. My only complaint (which is mostly my fault I guess for not being specific enough) was the wrong song for our processional. I only emailed Atmosphere a YouTube link with the correct orchestra version of the song, but didn't bother to send the mp3 file, so we had a MIDI version of our song playing instead of the orchestra version. =( Anyways, we had a great time! Thank you, Joe & Tasos!

Atmosphere did our lighting and also provided a DVD set-up for a slide-show performance. Atmostphere was always incredibly responsive to requests and ever-changing needs and did not try to add items other than what was specifically requested by us or by our wedding coordinator. The room ended up looking totally amazing and the custom gobo was particularly spectacular - I highly recommend getting one! Art and Hilary

When I was looking for a DJ, I knew exactly who I wanted and that was Joe from Atmosphere Entertainment. Many of my friends heard great things about this company and even wanted to hire him for their events but was worried about the cost. I am a firm believer of "you get what you pay for" and hiring Joe was one of the best decisions I made. On the day of, he threw in extra uplights for us. During the wedding, I had people come up to me and say "is this your song list? These are some awesome songs that is playing!". The truth? They were all songs that Joe picked (other than the ones that I had to pick). Our friends were too shy to dance in front of our relatives but Joe definitely got them dancing by the bar! There was only one hiccup where the song I chose for the cake cutting was just the music without the lyrics however I didn't even notice it until i listened to the CD that Joe gave us with the music we had chosen to play at each significant event. After the wedding, everyone who attended said it was one of the best weddings they have been too. Good food, good drinks and GOOD MUSIC!

We were very happy with our DJ services on the day of our wedding. Joe played all of the music choices we wanted, timed everything very well and was a very good MC. The DJ is one of the most important elements to keeping the day running smoothly and Joe did an excellent job. We took a little longer than expected to take our pictures between the ceremony and reception and Joe adjusted the schedule accordingly and seamlessly. We were very pleased and would recommend him to others. He was also affordable for the type of service and number of hours that you get. And he gave us a CD of the music from the day at the end! Very nice touch.

We used Atmosphere Entertainment (Joe) for lighting & DJ for reception. Joe was very professional during the initial consultation/meeting and throughout the whole wedding process. We had chosen the essential songs for our reception, and asked Joe to run with the rest. The whole reception went smoothly, but I was a little disappointed with the songs that the DJ played, the grand intro was sub par, and several songs were remixes. The DJ was very professional/appropriate throughout the whole evening.

Our guest were very excited with the uplighting that we had chosen to add on. It was money well spent. Overall, I was slightly disappointed with the music selection (I should have given a little more direction), but overall I was satisfied with the lighting and DJ.

DJ Tasos is a man of many talents. Not only is he the best host, he also plays the most amazing music and more.
